Fon couldn't help but to smile as he showered. He would admit he wasn't prepared for whatever Skull had pulled, but he was impressed, and it wasn't easy to impress him. She had won their spar, and unlike some who might have seen it as Skull cheating, he saw it as it was. Skull had gotten away from him using an undisclosed method and had him stuck in smelly water set with traps for over an hour, if Colonnello was to be believed, and he was inclined to believe the Rain.
He scrubbed his hair, getting the remnants of seaweed and stench out of it. Skull wasn't lying when she said in his dreams, he had every intention of dreaming of the purplette. After all she did give him permission.
A shark like grin covered his lips as he wrapped a towel around his waist. Eyeing the smelly pants and yellow dress shirt. He would have to buy Reborn a new one next time he went out. "What sweet dreams they will be." He murmured as he went to his room, he felt a pang of disappointment when he didn't run across the Cloud on his way. Silently slipping into his room where his clothes sat almost innocently on his bed. He smirked at the slightly faded PROPERTY OF SKULL DE MORT.
Oh, he knew she was laying claim to her prank, and while he didn't like the idea of anyone thinking he was property it amused him to think of her face when he came down wearing it. He would need to purchase some that didn't have the vibrant purple claim, but these wouldn't hurt him around his elements. Besides which, he might be able to get her flustered by wearing them. A few comments about ownership, and he knew his Sun would be more than willing to harass him about it, would get her nice and red.
Tonight, he would have to set a number of traps, just encase she decided to visit him. It wouldn't due to be an ungracious host when ones Sky willingly walked into their domain. The feeling of excitement and the thrill of the chase lingered even as he set about platting his hair. A soft knock echoed in his room. "You can come in Reborn." He beckoned, well aware of the man's knock.
"I hear you lost to the Lacky; wasn't aware she could distract you that badly. Or are you that badly out of practice?" The hitman asked sounding amused as he entered. His fedora tilted up and Leon displayed prominently on the brim. The little Charmeleon eyed him before curling up to sleep.
"Hardly. I wasn't expecting her attack." He responded with his own amused look.
"Want to tell me about it?" He asked folding his arms.
"Not particularly. I will say she has been holding back." He kept his voice light as he spoke.
"You really are interested in her, aren't you?" Reborn asked with a slight furrow of his brow. "She's beautiful I'll give you that. Her Sky flames are interesting, especially since she hasn't shown any trace of them in all the time, we've known her." He said tilting his head.
"She's powerful." Fon included after a moment.
"She's still just a Lacky." Reborn rebuked and Fon couldn't stop the snort of amusement from leaving him.
"You're welcome to try and spar with her if you wish. I wouldn't recommend wearing your normal attire. Which reminds me, I will get you a new shirt next time I'm out. The one you loaned me is…well you can try to clean it if you wish."
"Humm, just because you were too focused on trying to get her into your bed doesn't mean I will have the same problem." Reborn's smirk was anything but pleasant.
"My bed is only partly where I want her." Fon acknowledged after a moment. He was looking forward to the Hitman sparing with Skull and losing badly. It would be fun to see his expression.
"How about a wager?" Reborn asked his smirk widening as Fon turned his head to indicate he was listening.
"I'll spar with the Lacky. When I win, and I will be winning, you have to take the Lacky out for coffee, and I mean coffee Fon."
Fon's face deadpanned. "Skull doesn't like coffee any more than I do."
"Of that I am aware." Reborn's smug looked had Fon taking a deep breath.
"Very well, when you lose, and you will lose. You have to not only purchase and wear but go see Tsuna at the Iron Fort in clothes Skull gets to pick out from a secondhand shop." Fon agreed.
Neither man saw the skin-colored ear attached to a string being pulled from the bottom of the door as they shook hands. Nor did they see the very devious look on Skull's face.
