Several things happened at once. Lal burst into laughter; her eyes wide as she stared at the satisfied Mist with incredulous eyes. Fon moved, his flames disintegrating the chair he flung away from himself as he grabbed Colonnello by the back of his shirt and pulled the man away from Skull who stood with wide eyes. Reborn laughed in amusement while Verde muttered about how illogical they were all being.

Colonnello looked like a child caught with his hands in a cookie jar. "I'm sorry Kora!" He called out at the enraged Storm as he pulled himself from the man's tight grip. His shirt tearing from the force of the Storm's hold combined with the force of his own movements, leaving Fon with a bit of fabric in his hands.

Skull looked around the room suspiciously, her eyes narrowing on Viper who looked far too pleased. "Hum, it seems you were right." Fon said, his voice sounding way to calm even as his eyes flashed with the intensity of his flames. "You are dead."

"Everyone needs to cool off." Skull stated as she looked at the pile of dust from Fon's chair.

"I will be quite cool once this is dealt with." Fon's voice was silky smooth. Not showing an ounce of the rage coursing through his body.

"You agreed to it Kora!" Colonnello shouted as he took a step back.

"You agreed to it?" Skull's voice was hard, drawing the Martial Artist's eyes to her form. Her face cast in shadows, her jaw clenched with fury. "Like I'm some kind of object to be given to whomever you want?"

"It is not like that Skull." Fon tried to sooth his Cloudy-Sky.

"Not like that? Then how is it, exactly?" She demanded.

"I was paying Viper Kora!" Colonnello shouted bringing those furious eyes to himself.

"Paying Viper?" She growled shooting a dark look at the seated Mist. "So what? Now I'm a commodity to be used and given at will? An object? Is that what I am Colonnello?" She seethed; the windows rattled ominously.

"It…it isn't like that." Colonnello tried to explain, he had seen a flash of actual pain and hurt flash through Skull's eyes. This hadn't been worth it. He had expected the territorial reaction from Fon, but the look in Skulls eyes was something he had never seen before.

He had seen petulance, anger, cowardice, but never had he seen the look of betrayal and actual hurt. "And you all agreed to it?" She asked, ignoring his pleading tone as her eyes danced from one to the other. None of them could bring themselves to meet her eyes.

"To think, I thought better of you than this. I knew you were all bastards. I just didn't know you were all incapable of even the faintest trace of human decency. Thank you for showing me just what I actually mean to you." She turned to walk away before she completely lost her composure.

"It isn't like that Skull." Reborn called out, moving to grab her arm to stop her from leaving only to hiss in pain and pull his hand back. It had blistered as if he had deliberately put it on an open flame.

"Oh, it isn't?" She asked, her voice dangerously sweet. Her teeth flashing in a snarl. "So, you didn't agree to Colonnello kissing me as payment for whatever Viper perceived they deserved payment for?"

"Mu, it was only a kiss. I don't see why your so upset." Viper stated folding their arms as they stood up.

"You don't see why I'm upset?" She inquired rounding on the Mist as glass shattered from behind her. The shaking window was completely obliterated. Fon tensed as the glass slashed through Skull's skin. Blood welling up and flowing without restraint.

"In the past two days I have had my privacy walked all over by a Sky who had 'good intensions' I have had my jewelry and makeup stolen. I have had my space invaded. I have had my first actual kiss stolen, and this is by people who I have been forcefully bonded to by a Sky I never even liked. Now to top it all off I was sold as commodity to pay a debt that wasn't even mine. And you don't know why I am angry?" She snarled, and they had all stepped back her Cloud flames dancing across her skin.

"In the past forty years I have endured your name calling, your apathy, your punishments for any perceived slight. I have walked your tight rope of expectations, your cage of what I should be and how I should act. I have endured the torture you call training. I have lived the way you demanded. Joined a Famiglia you chose, I have done all of this without your respect. Without your help. I have survived. You can beat me down; you can walk all over me, but I REFUSE to be used as currency!" This time when she went to leave nobody dared to stop her.

"I guess I can tell you, my gender." Viper stated into the silence of the room.

"It's not worth it Kora." Colonnello stated as he turned to leave the room. He had never felt like a bigger ass, nor a bigger fuck up then he did right now.
