Fon paced back and forth. He felt like a caged animal. His eyes alight with his flames, his arms crossed over his bare chest. Reborn sat by the closed door to their Clouds room. His own eyes on fire as he watched the Storm.

Neither man could bring themselves to go back to their own room. They ached to go back in. To make sure the Cloudy-Sky was alright. Their fingers ached to take apart the door and expose Skull to their sight and only their own self-control stopped them. But even that was only barely.

The notion that Skull did not trust them had never crossed their minds. They had always assumed that if Skull needed them, really need them, then he, she, would have come to them. Male or female it didn't matter. It hadn't mattered. She was one of them. They had assumed she knew that.

Apparently, what they assumed, and the truth were two different things. Fon wanted to pin her down, to force her to tell them everything, every person who had hurt her. Every scar and how she had gotten it. He felt a visceral need to see to her, and that was without being bound to her Sky flame.

Her words played over and over in their heads. She didn't need them. Had never needed them and didn't want them. That much was obvious. Verde had been just as agitated as them, but unlike them he had seen staying as pointless and had returned to his lab's. Not that he would get much done. Fon was very much aware that none of them would get anything done any time soon.

Fon wasn't the least bit surprised when the door to the Rain's room opened and out walked both Colonnello and Lal who took one look at them and sat themselves on the opposite wall from Reborn. The agitation they felt burned through their flames and not a half hour later Vipers own door opened. While they didn't see the Mist, they knew they were there.

They stayed like this until the light from the sun had set fire to the hallway. Reborn was the first to move, his hand resting momentarily against Skull's door, a silent plea for the Cloud to come out and join them. His flames calling longingly to the Cloud whose flames remained resolutely out of reach.

"We going to lose our Cloud and Sky before ever bonding with them Kora?" Colonnello asked, his voice strained and all present tensed.

"Skull is the only Sky who could even begin to understand the pain of the curse. The only Sky who has seen us at our most vulnerable. She might be angry, but it's still Skull. Still the Lacky. She's not going anywhere and even if she did run, we would find her, and she well knows it. Don't be stupid and start thinking she's going anywhere." Reborn stated before walking away.

"I'm not being stupid Kora; I'm being realistic, or did we not just spend the night outside her door? Come on, you saw her face just like I did. I know you feel like me. Viper, you even apologized. You never apologize. I know you…" Viper cut him off.

"Mu, Skull is a Sky, our Sky. We don't have to be bonded to her flames to make it true. She was hurt, of course I'm going to feel bad. We all feel bad. Our flames have already decided she's ours and we hurt her." Fon had the distinct impression that Viper had rolled their eyes.

"Were not losing her." Fon declared when Colonnello opened his mouth to speak. "She's ours, has been ours since the day she sat with us in that room. She's angry, were all angry. That isn't going to change much. We'll simply have to move on. There will be no more stolen kisses, from any of us. We'll work through our issues and have our Sky. We have to be patient."

"This is why I despise you." Vipers voice was flat as they spoke. "You speak of being patient but you're the one who started this. You stole a kiss, and then another and get angry when someone else does it. You speak of being patient, but I have been patient. I have wanted a Sky for decades. How much more patient can one get?" They snapped.

"I am not too fond of you ether." Fon smirked, as he turned and left them.
