Naruko's still got some fights here so it was a bit downplayed, plus the Demon Brothers aren't that strong. Ryouta did yeah, using his mind and power, I've always liked battles like that. Exactly, death happens, he had to do it or others could have died. Zabuza right now doesn't know Satsuki is an Uchiha, he's only met Ryouta and Shisui before, neither mentioned her to him, if he did know she was an Uchiha, then he would have wished to fight her. It's more like they aren't aware of who she is more than downplaying her, if they did know then they'd want to fight her. Maybe Tsunami could yeah~
ShadowUzumaki55; Thanks! Yeah, a good few people had their battles~ Ryouta did yeah, he took down Kushimaru with his skills and strength. Sakura fought hard, buying time for Karin to work her seals. Naruko did quite a bit yeah, she's fought and kicked butt along with saving Inari and Tsunami. Lets hope they do! Yeah, they'd be cool choices!
Silver crow; Thanks. Ameyuri will go through some stuff. I'm not surprised he's been nerfed, I kind of expected it at some point so it didn't affect me, it is sad that it happened though. He couldn't do that to Haku. Yeah, Ryouta and Naruko managed to team up. Ameyuri will be excited. It's hard to say who'd be stronger between Kakashi and Shisui, depends when you take Kakashi since he grows quite powerful as the story goes on. Kushimaru did become fearful in the end. Mangetsu and Suigetsu have some stuff left to do in the story. Glad you liked the Kakashi and Zabuza fight. Sakura is stepping up and using her strength and skills, and with Karin's assistance, they managed to overcome their enemy. That's what is said in canon about Karin's powers. Kushimaru knew trying to pierce Ryouta with the sword wouldn't work so he got creative and even said this was the first time he's used such a move. Yeah, seems normal people can be. If he got a special ability, it could be future sight. Thanks for the suggestions.

Andrew123456; I've got a few thoughts on it, I can see why it happened, I'm waiting to see how the story plays out before saying if it was a positive or a negative change. I'm hoping for positive, but it also is sad that he died after all this time and how the relationship built between the two of them.

Guest 2; Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the fights! Karin's decision was a mixture of those two. It is one of the reasons Mangetsu feels how he does. Kushimaru stepped up his game, and Ryouta did the same. I could see a reanimated Kushimaru wanting to do something like that. Lets hope that Ryouta and Naruko can. I could see Gato saying something like that. No worries at all. Thanks for the suggestions!
Guest 3; Hehe, I'm glad you enjoyed the fights~ Karin showed what she could do yeah, Naruko might be able to one day. Sakura had a cute moment huh. Satsuki will have plenty of moments to shine. Most people they've run across don't know she's an Uchiha, Zabuza only has done because he's met them before, and hasn't met Satsuki who didn't show the Sharingan to him or the others just yet, but they'll see this chapter she is quite strong. Yup, Ryouta can surely set his sword on fire~ Right now, Ryouta's using the blade. Lets hope they can do. Thanks for the suggestions!
Brainstorm Sorcerer; Yeah, it's going to be quite intense. Ryouta did yeah, it's going to be fun to see how that goes within the world. Ameyuri will do. Haha, I could see Suigetsu doing stuff like that. Kushimaru was shaking with a mixture of anger and worry. If Ryouta did that then it would be possible he'd destroy the bridge. Anko will give him the contract, we'll see when and how that happens. Ryouta is yeah, he can use either hand just as well as the other. Sakura and Karin did do a good team up. Haku and Satsuki will show some good teamwork skills. I could see Anko being annoyed with it. Ryouta's reputation surely is, he's been on two S Class, one when he was only a kid. Kakashi will show his stuff yeah. Lets see what happens with Mei.
Guest 4; It's not stopped growing, just haven't decided about the others yet and what kind of place they'd have in the story.

Battle of the bridge part two!
Ryouta and Naruko were making good time in travelling towards the bridge, when Naruko noticed something off in the distance.
"Hey Ryou-kun, what's that red light over there?"
Ryouta blinked, his eyes turning to see it.
His eyes, Sharingan enhanced, tried to pinpoint what it was…
Then he realized what it was.
"Fire...isn't that the direction of the village?"
"S-Someone's set it on fire?!"
Ryouta looked towards the bridge, and then towards the town.
He wanted to go and help the others, but they also had to think of the village as well.
"It might be Gato, he could've had us Ninja preoccupied, while he also endangers the village. Trying to split our focus even more, it's a disgusting but deadly tactic at the same time, so we need to go to the fire, and put it out."
"Y-Yeah, the others will have to hold on."
Ryouta and Naruko didn't like having to delay their move towards the bridge.
But they also had a duty to the village, so they turned direction and shot off that way.
Ryouta pushed his chakra further, Naruko was astonished when they moved so fast that crossing the distance usually would have taken over two minutes, it took Ryouta barely thirty seconds to cross the distance.
They arrived in the village, they saw a bunch of thugs carrying torches, and trying to set fire to some of the houses.
The panicked villages were trying to escape the deadly destructive goons of Gato's.
"Ryou!"
"Yeah, Naruko-chan you get the people away from the fire, I'll use Water Release to put out the fires, and lets kick their asses."
"You got it!"
Naruko jumped off Ryouta's back, and shot into the village, as did Ryouta.
Naruko saw a few villagers being attacked by two men, so she came in with a flying kick, strong enough to send them flying backwards.
"Come with me, get away from the fires!"
Naruko called out, as Ryouta swiftly went through the village, striking down the thugs with a single blow, as well as blowing out water from his mouth to quench the fires.
As he did, he began to save the people within the village.
But he did see the worried look on their faces.
It was clear that they were afraid, and just wished for it end.
Ryouta and Naruko managed to beat the enemies that were around very quickly, the thugs didn't have a chance.
"This is a bit odd, I thought Gato would have way more than this."
Ryouta mused, Naruko tilted her head.
"We have more thugs to defeat?"
Ryouta looked over the townspeople, seeing the different worried expressions on their faces.
"Hopefully not for their sake, they've been through enough."
Naruko looked over them, and saw the same thing.
"If only they had the courage..."
Ryouta went to reply, when he saw something coming up.
"I think Inari-kun is going to inspire that."
Naruko cocked her head left and right, trying to understand Ryouta's thoughts.
But then she saw Inari coming in from a good distance together with his Mother.
"Aah, right! Inari's changed huh?"
"He found his courage, protecting those you love is a good way to do it. Now, he can share that courage with the village."
"Even if it is hopeless...I think it's better to try than not try at all, you know Ryou?"
Ryouta turned to Naruko, and adopted a soft smile.
"Right, so we need to go and try now, to save this situation before its too late."
"Yeah...lets do this Ryou!"
Ryouta liked her attitude, and took her hand.
For a moment, Naruko looked at their connected hands, feeling a sudden warm feeling inside.
Ryouta then pulled her close, so she got onto his back.
As he went to leave, Ryouta caught the sight of Inari who looked towards him.
Ryouta smiled.
"Go on Inari-kun, show them your courage."
Inari heard Ryouta's voice, gained a beaming smile before nodding his head strongly.
Then Ryouta and Naruko disappeared together in a flash of speed, leaving behind the civilians.
The battle of the bridge was getting more and more intense. Karin was giving an update to Sakura due to the thick mist that was around that blocked their vision from truly witnessing the battles that were going on.
"...So it's still bad?"
"From what I can tell, Kakashi-sensei and Zabuza are evenly matched. This guys brother here is being pushed back by Satsuki and Haku-chan. And then there's Ameyuri and Anko-sensei, they also seem to be evenly matched. It could go either way."
"I want to go and help...but, we've got a mission to protect Tazuna-san."
Sakura murmured, worried for her friends, while Suigetsu smirked.
"You could let me go, I'll go and help~ Promise I wont go and murder someone on your side, I give you my word~"
Suigetsu chuckled out, but Sakura and Karin both stared at him from within the seal.
""As if.""
Suigetsu cringed when they rejected him.
"Geez, you both are harsh, you know?"
Tazuna rolled his eyes at Suigetsu's flippant attitude.
He then moved closer.
"If you're worried about your comrades, I'll be fine here. Go and make sure they're okay."
Sakura turned to Tazuna and gave a gentle smile.
"Thank you for the concern, but we can't abandon you. You are someone that needs our protection."
"Plus, we believe in our comrades. And our other comrades wont be far behind. I'm sure Ryou-kun and Naruko will be here soon enough."
Karin added.
Tazuna understood, nodding.
"Right. Then I'll believe in your comrades as well."
"We all do right now, Tazuna-san."
Sakura admitted, and the trio, along with the trapped Suigetsu, waited for whatever it was that was about to happen.
As that was going down, Anko came up against Ameyuri.
Anko charged the young woman with a kunai, and came at her from the right hand side, only for Ameyuri to laugh, tap her swords together, and create lightning around her blades.
"Don't make me laugh."
She thrust her sword forward, shooting off a fast moving bolt of lightning.
However, Anko quickly dodged out of the way, and then rushed forward, grabbing several senbons, tossing them for the neck of Ameyuri to try and disable her, but Ameyuri allowed her lightning to spread forward, creating a shield of electricity, blocking them off.
As she did, Anko took out a smoke bomb, tossing it towards Ameyuri.
Exploding in her face, she allowed her electricity to flow, blasting around her form and pushed the smoke away as much as she could by creating a thick wall of electricity all around her, expanding outwards.
When the smoke was far enough away, giving Ameyuri her sight of the surroundings back, she saw Anko jumping up, and then came down with a swing of her leg.
"A little trick like that isn't going to be enough against me."
Ameyuri thrust her swords in an X shape to defend against the kick, Anko laughed however as the body of Anko suddenly erupted into snakes that came shooting down.
"The Snake Clone Jutsu!"
Ameyuri's eyes shot right and saw Anko's fist, she didn't have time to dodge, and received a hard punch to the face, along with Anko revealing some senbons between her fingers, which pierced through Ameyuri's face.
Only reaching a millimeter within her cheek, Ameyuri managed to stop them going any further as she twisted her sword up to pierce Anko's chest.
Anko was forced to retreat as a decent sized bolt of lightning shot for her body, which caught Anko's right hand side as she released her senbons for Ameyuri to turn her blades away from Anko and be forced to block the senbons which were released for her eyes, which she did by moving her blades in the way.
"Aaaah!"
Anko grit her teeth in pain, feeling a numbing feeling running through her arm.
Ameyuri placed a hand to her bleeding cheek.
"Another second, and you'd have pierced much deeper into me, and the going for the eyes trick, you're a lady after my own heart~ How ruthless you are~"
"That makes two of us, doesn't it Ameyuri-chan~?"
Ameyuri showed a dissatisfied smile, she wanted to intimidate Anko with a playful attitude.
But Anko wasn't having any of it.
"Tch, that goes to show you, Konoha had such a Sensei with the Uchiha, and Ice Release brats."
Anko showed a confident smile despite the numbing pain in her arm.
The pair stared one another in the eyes, Ameyuri could see the intent to fight within Anko's eyes, and Anko saw Ameyuri take it to a new level with wanting to kill her.
As that went on, Satsuki and Haku were dueling against Mangetsu. Coming in from the right, Mangetsu's speed was something that even surprised Haku, watching him swinging his blade down and allowing the paper bombs to come out, flying all over the area Haku was in, she knew what he was trying to do.
"Ice Release, Ice Rock Dome of Magnificent Nothingness!"
Using the air around, Haku froze it and became a dome just as the paper bombs were being set off.
Satsuki used the dome as a stepping stone, shooting up high into the air, and weaved through some hand signs.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Concentrating flames within her body, she opened her mouth, and shot said flames towards Mangetsu.
Mangetsu laughed at the sight, allowing his hands to go through some hand signs.
"Water Release, Water Wall!"
Gathering the water from below, he created a barrier of spinning water around his body, tanking the flames of Satsuki's own, creating a mass of heavy steam to erupt between the two of them, and then Satsuki used the chance to take out several shurikens with wire attached to them, flinging them forward.
"Geez, don't you guys understand that my watery form allows..."
Before he could say it, he saw that Haku was meeting Satsuki, who now was on the ground, allowing her ice to run across the wires and shuriken, like a mist that was freezing anything that was coming into contact with.
He even saw the air was being frozen.
"Damn it..."
Mangetsu waved his sword forward, releasing a number of paper bombs, before creating a wall of water. Merging them together, the paper bombs stay in the air, in place, so Mangetsu pulls back as the paper bombs erupt outwards, creating a large blast wave to destroy the shurikens of ice coming for them.
The ice froze the water, but the bombs strength was enough to blow them away, stabbing into the ground around the three of them, one flying up into the air near Satsuki, so she grabbed it, with ice still wrapped around it, and tossed it for Mangetsu in a speedy manner.
Mangetsu saw the ice shuriken coming in, and managed to pull towards the right.
However, he then saw that there was a second shuriken that was in the shadow of the first, and it was coming right for him.
"Aaah!"
He jumped away, the shuriken however sliced his right shoulder, and caused it to instantly freeze. Along with that, the ice began to freeze all that was within its vicinity, freezing him to the point that even Mangetsu felt the cold.
Slight panic began to erupt within Mangetsu, seeing his arm was beginning to freeze more and more.
Then he felt a chill in the air.
"Shit!"
He jumped up as Haku's ice mirror appeared, with Haku coming out with a few more icy senbons being launched towards him.
Jumping up however, Satsuki saw it coming, so she tossed wire around Mangetsu in the air, and weaved through some hand signs, keeping the wires within her mouth.
"Fire Release, Dragon Fire Jutsu!"
Breathing out a thin line of fire, it spread between all of the wires, and spread all around Mangetsu.
"What the hell is she doing…? She should know that fire isn't going to do anything to me."
Like a ring of fire, the fires roaring sound didn't escape Mangetsu's ears.
He watched the flames coming around, then going behind him.
He turned in the air to see the shurikens had converged there, bringing up to a point.
Still, he didn't get it…
Then it became clear when he saw a paper bomb being brought towards the fire thanks to Haku using her keen hand movement.
"So that's it, they must know enough force could put me into a jelly like state, therefore unable to fight. Freeze me, then blast me apart...but, with thanks to this water under the bridge, I'm able to fight them off...but still, the fact these two are pushing me this far, it seems this Uchiha girl is no slouch like Haku..."
Mangetsu growled at his thoughts, his eyes angrily going towards Satsuki and Haku, seeing that the pair of them alone would be annoying, but together...they truly did make a terrifying team.
Meanwhile, Anko and Ameyuri were continuing their duel once more. Their blades came together, and then broke apart.
"Have this snake woman!"
The lightning being released by Ameyuri was something that blocked Anko from getting in close, and Ameyuri was surprised to see that Anko was keeping up with her, and being something that caused her to have difficulty in getting close with.
"Have what?"
Ameyuri didn't look pleased in the slightest.
"You're getting annoying, aren't you?"
Ameyuri scowled as Anko snickered.
"I love being annoying with my opponents."
Ameyuri thrust her swords out, sending off several powerful bolts of electricity.
Anko back flipped several times, avoiding the heavy duty lightning that pierced the bridge, and came out the bottom of the bridge, electrifying the water, showing Anko how serious Ameyuri's killing intent truly was.
Seeing her attack not working, Ameyuri flipped her swords around, and caused them to become
"Tch, don't think you can get in my way for much longer. Besides, I've got my target to kill."
"You mean the bridge builder?"
Ameyuri huffed.
"Like I'm going to tell you anything."
"So it isn't the bridge builder?"
Ameyuri laughed sadistically.
"As I said, why would I tell you anything?"
"Because I'm asking!"
Anko thrust her hand out, sending several snakes to try and entangle Ameyuri's arms to grab the swords out, however Ameyuri allowed her lightning to shoot out at all angles, shocking the snakes.
However, Anko threw several senbons for the young woman, trying to pierce her vital spots to stop her.
Using her speed, Ameyuri avoided being pierced, and then came at Anko with a stabbing thrust. Anko moved left, avoiding the first sword, but the second one came with a swinging pendulum like motion, gathering electricity and burst it towards Anko.
Anko quickly activated a Jutsu, creating a wall of snakes to block the intense lightning. The lightning was strong enough to break through the snakes, and even go for Anko's body, Anko pulled away but the lightning caught her, and blasted her back a good few steps.
Sparks of electricity ran across Anko's skin, feeling the intense pain from being shocked.
Ameyuri developed a cute smile as she skipped forward.
"You didn't cry out, I was waiting for it the entire time."
Showing a sadist smile on her face, Ameyuri truly was having the time of her life.
Anko wasn't going to allow her to have that, the satisfaction alone was something that she wished to quell within the woman before her.
"Sorry sweetheart, but you wont be able to make me release any kind of pained sound."
"We'll see about that. I've always loved the idea of fighting strong people, and someone like you, you're quite strong, and skilled, fast, and smart as well. I can't see any flaws that you've made so far when it comes to fighting against me."
Being praised by Ameyuri was something that troubled Anko.
She didn't even know what Ameyuri was trying to accomplish with that.
Or, if she was even trying to accomplish anything with it at all, she truly didn't know.
"I don't know if I should be happy or sad that you're saying these things to me."
"You should be pleased, I haven't been challenged in a good while."
"Then I'll give you some challenge."
Anko pulled out a scroll, to the surprise of Ameyuri.
"What's in the scroll?"
Anko continued to smirk, as she released the contents of the scroll.
It was the axe and hammer combination that she recognized.
"The last I remember, what's his name had this...right, Jinpachi. So, did you steal it from him?"
"I guess you don't speak to Zabuza much, because his apprentice had this blade."
Ameyuri blinked in surprise.
"I see, so that's what it is after all. You got it from one of those ignoramuses..."
"Nice tongue you've got about your teammates."
Ameyuri rolled her eyes with a playful smile.
"It seems that you don't understand. Those people, Zabuza...I don't care about him, or his group. And he doesn't care about me either. We are only working together because we have a common goal, that's all."
"What is your goal?"
Anko demanded, Ameyuri shrugged.
"It wouldn't make a difference, even if I told you."
"Then why don't you tell me? It wouldn't make a difference, would it?"
Anko thought, wanting to see if Ameyuri would spill the beans, or she'd stay quiet until the end.
"I don't feel like telling you. However, only those from Kiri should ever wield that blade."
Anko could see that Ameyuri had annoyance in her eyes. It wasn't anger, but it was clear that it bothered her that Anko had the axe and hammer.
"Can you call it a blade? It is more of an axe and hammer..."
"Shut up and give it to me!"
Ameyuri shot forward, and tried to swing her sword for Anko, when she swung the hammer down into the bridge. The shockwave alone disrupted the balance of Ameyuri enough for her to come at the lightning sword user with a swing of her axe part.
The blades clashed together, creating sparks between them, when Anko brought up the hammer, and placed it behind the axe, fully intending to break the blades of lightning that Ameyuri was wielding, and she realized it as well.
Barely managing to jump back, Anko continued with the strike, allowing the axe and hammer to force it into the bridge, creating a fissure that travelled towards Ameyuri's body, Anko mentally apologized to Tazuna about the bridge, but knew she'd help fix it later on.
Anko watching as the place Ameyuri's feet were began to crumble, so the lightning blade user jumped high into the air.
"You little..."
"I'm not done yet!"
Anko tossed the axe part of the blade, and because it was attached to the hammer, she swung it around, building force up until she clashed it with Ameyuri. The strength behind it was enough for her to smash deep into the ground.
"Gwaah!"
Bouncing off of it, Ameyuri felt blood trickling down her face.
Her anger grew from that alone, forcing her to her feet, she looked ready to kill...
At the moment that she went to charge, she suddenly felt something shooting out from behind, so she turned to see Ryouta's body coming in like an arrow, his sword ready to disable her, fortunately for her, she managed to block it in time, parrying the blade, and then flung him towards Anko, where he span and landed next to his Sensei.
Anko looked surprised, yet relieved that he was there, Ameyuri also understood something with the appearance of Ryouta.
Kushimaru...wad dead.
Back with Satsuki and Haku, with Mangetsu being frozen as well as the paper bombs having flames head for it, he knew he was in a tricky situation, and that one second delaying would cause him to lose the fight, but Mangetsu remained calm and used his intelligence to think very quickly of a good way out of this...
Then he thought of something.
Seeing the ice growing further down his arm, Mangetsu began weaving some hand signs with difficulty due to said ice.
Water from below the bridge began to come towards him like a jet, managing to land across his body…
Then it began to sink into him.
Satsuki used her Sharingan from a distance, she saw that Mangetsu's body was growing stronger.
The ice that was freezing him suddenly stopped as water broke through said ice, and almost as if he was regenerating, the frozen part of his arm was being restored to the watery form that he had, at the same time he thrust his enlarging arm outwards, entinguishing the flames before they could even land on the paper bomb.
Satsuki clicked her tongue as she watched Mangetsu land on the ground.
"Not bad, a combination that might be able to have taken me down. But, you're not dealing with a Genin, and my skills are far above your own. I've been trained by Zabuza-sama, and he's taught me many things over the years. Now, I'll show you my true power!"
Haku and Satsuki came together, and watched as Mangetsu landed on the ground. Water span around him rapidly.
"He gathered the water around us, and used that to increase his power. Even before, that's why his chakra isn't really going down that much and why his power is seemingly stronger than before..."
"It seems that fighting here is going to be a disadvantage for us. Unless the waters gone, or we can overpower him, then it is going to be annoying to fight this bastards power. Even with near unlimited source of water, he'll still have his weaknesses."
Satsuki murmured after Haku, who agreed.
Mangetsu laughed at how they figured it out.
"Now, why don't you drown?"
His eyes shot for the pair, and he placed his hands out towards them, suddenly the water reacted, shooting off a massive wave of water that easily was the size of a three story house.
The wave bent, and swirled around them like a massive water ring, that also acted like a jail.
Neither could get out due to the pressure of the water.
"He's going to trap us if we aren't careful."
Haku mumbled, Satsuki agreed.
Satsuki cupped her hands, ready to fire off another Jutsu…
But then saw that Mangetsu's form merged with the water, using it to travel around them.
Her Sharingan aided her in seeing the fast moving Mangetsu, so she grabbed Haku just in time, pulling her out of the way when Mangetsu's blade coming down, but the explosive property of the blade blasted Satsuki back, forcing her face to smash into the ground.
"Satsuki-san!"
"Forget me! Behind you!"
Haku looked to see the watery form of Mangetsu with his blade coming down once more.
Haku had the knowledge not to take it, so she formed a mirror beside her, then beside Satsuki, using it as a fast travel for her to avoid the blast radius of the sword, and was shocked to see the blast was enough to shatter her ice mirror.
"It takes a lot of force to break my mirrors, so seeing him do it so quickly..."
Satsuki pulled herself off the ground.
"That waters a problem...What about your ice Haku?"
"I might be able to...but, I'd have to have some time to build up the chakra to do so. Making so much ice takes time."
Satsuki figured that would be it.
"So you need time, I'll give you that..."
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Suddenly, a fist went flying through the head of Mangetsu.
Even Mangetsu was surprised, watching as it was revealed to be Naruko coming through Mangetsu's body, disrupting his watery form enough for Satsuki to see an opening, so she shot off large volley of flaming spheres for Mangetsu, trying to destroy the water with intense fire.
Mangetsu saw it coming, and jumped out of the water before it all evaporated from her technique.
Naruko gave a strong smile as she thrust her fist at Mangetsu.
"Hehehe! You can't take the might of me, Satsuki, and Haku!"
Mangetsu blinked at Naruko's declaration.
Satsuki placed a hand on her face with annoyance, while Haku tilted her head.
On another part of the battlefield, Kakashi and Zabuza's fight was going strong, fighting for several minutes without a clear winner.
Kakashi could feel the clashes of chakra all over the area, he could see that Zabuza wasn't about to give up either. The fact that he was able to counter all of the things that he thrown at him, and then he worried for the others, what could be going on with them.
In his worry, Zabuza's blade managed to slice Kakashi's arm, just enough for blood to coat the tip of Zabuza's blade, then he retreated back, with thick mist surrounding him. Even Kakashi with the Sharingan couldn't see his opponent.
"You know, Kakashi. The way you fight reveals the worry you have for the others. Don't have any faith in them?"
Kakashi heard from the mist, it sounded like it was coming from all around him.
"I could ask you the same thing. I can see that there's some kind of hesitation within you."
Zabuza scoffed, as Kakashi kept his eyes sharply around.
"You know nothing."
"Maybe I don't, but I do recall that the Ice Release girl used to be your apprentice." Zabuza's eyes turned more angry. "I wonder, do you have any lingering feelings for her? She is your enemy now, does that matter to you at all?"
Zabuza laughed a dark laugh that caused Kakashi to feel a demonic presence within him.
"She's my enemy, you answered it yourself."
"Still, you hold no feelings at all?"
Zabuza showed a scowl on his face, one that Kakashi couldn't see.
"I already said that I didn't, right? I don't care, she is my enemy now, she's with Konoha. Nothing to do with me."
Kakashi truly wondered if that was true.
He didn't know if it was or not…
"What about the team you have now? Not a care for them?"
"You must think that I care about these things? I don't. They could die and I wouldn't even bat an eyelid. That's the reality of a Ninja, you must be aware of that by now."
Kakashi didn't know if he meant it, or was trying to be cold for the sake of it.
"Then, I guess that I don't have to hold back."
Zabuza smirked.
"Hold back? You have been until now?"
"I'll show you what I mean by that."
Kakashi placed his hands together, and got ready to fight.
Zabuza saw the seriousness in his eyes, both normal and Sharingan, he was intrigued to see what the true Kakashi was like in a battle, and he had a good feeling that he was about to find out just that as well.
Meanwhile, Haku, Satsuki and Naruko were stood together, looking down their own opponent. Mangetsu showed a tainted expression that was filled with a lust for battle, yet a calmness that had escaped Suigetsu, his brother.
"So, it's now three vs me? That's not fair at all."
Mangetsu taunted, only for Naruko to put a hand to her chest.
"Believe it! I've arrived to kick your butt!"
Mangetsu snorted.
"You announced your arrival, and thought you'd get the best of me like that? Does no one remember the fact that I can turn into water? Your physical attacks cannot harm me."
Satsuki sighed.
"He's got a point."
Naruko snapped her eyes towards Satsuki.
"You're agreeing with him?!"
"Hmph, I'm merely pointing out what he said. But since you're here, you might as well be useful."
Naruko stared at Satsuki.
She ran through the scenarios in her head the best she could, and eventually came to the realization that she was right, and that they would have to work together.
"...Alright fine."
Satsuki was slightly surprised that she agreed so easily, it showed Naruko understood the dangerous situation they were in.
"Good, then we're attacking. Haku."
"Right, be careful."
Satsuki nodded, and shot off at high speed. Naruko blinked, before running after her, seeing her produce a kunai, she did the same thing, and watched as Mangetsu scowled, bringing up his sword, and swung it down as Satsuki got in close.
The sword unraveled, revealing the paper bombs that spread around, before unleashing a hailstorm of explosions.
Satsuki, using her Sharingan, began to dodge out of the way, while Naruko simply threw many shurikens towards the unravelling sword.
"Shooting so many clones at me, are you really serious?"
But the paper bombs exploded, sending all of the shurikens back, along with Satsuki who was gaining closer towards the enemy.
Satsuki flipped back, before shooting forward again. Using the Sharingan, Satsuki could predict the movements of Mangetsu, and due to the training she had been doing, by using a kunai, she began to deflect the sharp blade part of the exploding sword, astonishing Mangetsu.
"Meeting so many Uchiha is surprising considering there aren't many left. Uchiha are pathetic. Dying to a single person, what a joke."
Mangetsu laughed in the face of Satsuki's pain and anguish, causing Satsuki to feel anger for the enemy.
Mangetsu, preying on that, smirked.
"Your face displays anger, did I hit a nerve perhaps? Wait...I did hear that the Uchiha that killed the other Uchiha did have a little sister, is that you?"
Satsuki grit her teeth.
"So what?"
Mangetsu smirked, seeing a chance to stab the emotional knife in, did so.
"It's just...I'll go and kill that Uchiha boy, Ryouta right? Finish off the job big bro was supposed to do by killing off some of the remaining Uchiha!"
Satsuki's eyes widened, as she thought about Itachi.
Itachi, the pain that had been there since he did what he did.
Remembering...what he said to her that day.
"...I'll be coming back for Ryouta one day...and I'll kill him."
Because of those thoughts being brought to the surface, she paused for a brief moment, allowing Mangetsu to get the better of her, and brought up the blade.
Her eyes widened more, but then Naruko came in, tackling Satsuki out of the way, but the pair were caught up in the shockwave of the explosive sword, forcing them back.
Hitting the ground hard, Haku wanted to help them, but knew that she needed to build enough chakra so she'd be able to stop Mangetsu when the time was right.
Naruko pulled herself off the floor, and angrily looked at Satsuki.
"Why did you freeze?!"
Satsuki tightened her hand.
"Naruko..."
"Don't let him get to you! He's trying to make you mad, can't you see?!" Satsuki just stared at Naruko. "Grr! Fine, I'll fight him then!" Satsuki watched as Naruko placed her hands into a sign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Snapping back to her senses, Satsuki placed her hand out.
"Wait! Don't be reckless!"
Mangetsu placed his hands forward, shooting off many bullets of water.
The bullets moved so fast that even the clones couldn't react, and got pierced through. Erupting into smoke from the intense damage that the bullets gave them, even Naruko received one in her shoulder, blowing her back.
"Aaaah! I'll do it again!"
"Naruko, wait! He's drawing water from below us, you're wasting effort!"
Satsuki called, but she didn't pay any heed, and made a number of clones once more, shooting them forward towards Mangetsu.
Nimbly, Mangetsu began dancing his way through the clones as they tried to attack him.
Cutting them down, releasing paper bombs on some, then blasting them back with water to explode a good number of them.
Satsuki looked down at herself, and briefly closed her eyes.
"Even now, Itachi...your words...from back then...I nearly lost Ryou back then...he saved my Mother, and I couldn't do a thing...but, now I'm stronger. I...I wont let you win Itachi...I wont give up until this asshole is finished...even Naruko saved me...I can't let that loser one up me...I'm not like you Itachi...I wont allow people to die..."
Determination filled her being.
Despite thinking harshly, Satsuki had a gratitude to Naruko for doing what she did.
Opening her eyes, Satsuki watches the clones of Naruko being destroyed, Naruko just made more, wielding kunai's, and charged Mangetsu.
Mangetsu showed his superior skill, and began cleaved them down while dodging. He didn't even need to be in his watery form, he was fast and skilled enough that Naruko couldn't even reach his form.
Satsuki glanced at Haku, who seemed to be still concentrating.
"Simple clones, even if you can produce a hundred it still wont be enough against me."
Mangetsu said, Satsuki saw this chance to begin the plan she had within her mind.
"You know, if you were as impervious to damage as you make out to be, why hasn't your brother come here yet?"
Mangetsu furrowed his eyebrows.
"What did you just imply?"
"I'm not implying, I'm curious as to where he is. Did our comrades beat him perhaps?"
Satsuki tried to lower Mangetsu's senses, by driving his anger higher and higher.
It seemed to slightly work when she saw his hand tightening on his blade, but his face remained calm.
"My brother likes to toy with his opponents."
"For this long?"
Mangetsu felt more of his anger and his increasing worry for his brother coming up.
"I'll believe in my brother before being tricked by you."
"Believe what you want, I'm merely pointing out that you don't know about your brother right now."
Magetsu, wielding the exploding sword, unraveled it, and allowed him to form a Dragon of water with a Jutsu. Surrounding Mangetsu's form, the water and paper bombs inside worked together in tandem.
"You wont have to worry about what my brothers condition is, you'll die from this attack."
Mangetsu, using his chakra, pushed the water Dragon towards the three of them.
"If that hits us, we'll be blown up..."
Haku began, seeing the Dragon like snake moving around them. The watery body formed a wall all around, blocking them in and ready to explode.
"Naruko, make some clones."
"Eh? Why?"
"I've got these. Just do it."
Naruko didn't get it, but did as was asked, summoning a number of clones around them.
Satsuki, using her Sharingan, pinpointed the explosives within the water, and took out several kunai, together with wire.
Using the wire, she swung her kunai's around, wrapping the wire around the clones Naruko summoned, piercing the paper bombs, using the clones as detonators, and shields at the same time, except for one that Satsuki managed to keep out of sight, surprising Mangetsu.
As she did, Satsuki cupped her hands near her mouth, before shooting off a giant fireball, twice the size of Naruko, and caused the Dragon to be hit with the flames.
"My Jutsu!"
Mangetsu yelled, seeing the steam produced by their colliding attacks.
The steam was so thick that even Mangetsu didn't know where they were, so he closed his eyes, and used his hearing.
Every sound he could detect, he listened.
After a few seconds, he heard the sound of movement, so he took out his blade, and silently made his way towards it.
Moving quietly, and quickly, he tried to get the upper hand, and got behind the person…
Seeing it was Naruko, he brought out a kunai, and rapidly slit the throat of the girl.
He smirked, only to see that she had exploded into smoke.
"What..."
He continued looking around, only to feel the area suddenly becoming hot.
He looked for the source, and saw a giant fireball being unleashed towards him.
He believed that if he was hit by that, it might cause problems, so he weaved through some hand signs, and began to surround his body with water in the shape of a flowing cyclone around his form, just in time for the flames and water to come together, pushing against one another.
"Now Naruko!"
"Yeah, I got it!"
Suddenly, from all around, clones appeared, all wielding explosive tags.
Mangetsu was surprised, and reached for his sword, but the clones launched the paper bombs for the flames, as the real Naruko, and Satsuki jumped back.
"Aaah!"
The explosive force was enough to send him flying across the battlefield, landing right near Haku, as per planned by Satsuki.
Haku's eyes landed upon Mangetsu's form, seeing him pulling himself up from the effects of the explosions.
"Ice Release, Whirlwind!"
Haku, after stepping into an ice mirror, which allowed her to get close to Mangetsu by forming the mirror before him, thrusted her hands outwards at close range, allowing her to release her technique.
Haku poured a good deal of chakra into the Jutsu, so she'd be able to freeze the enemy while keeping them in one place so they'd not be able to escape it either.
Surrounding Mangetsu was a whirlwind of many tiny ice shards, which all were releasing a chilling effect.
Mangetsu looked bewildered, seeing it shoot up into the heavens.
The ground was turning more and more into that of ice.
As it was, he even felt the cold, the ice was growing across his skin.
He panicked, and tried to move his blade, only to see that the ice was forming across the blade also.
"S-Shit! W-What the hell have you done?!"
Satsuki didn't reveal, and thought about it instead.
"He's quite overconfident, and tried to exploit weaknesses within us to make it easier, and more enjoyable for himself. But, that overconfidence will be his downfall, he thought with all this water around, he'd be able to win...but now, he's trapped."
Mangetsu panicked.
He could feel the ice even freezing his watery form.
He barely could move.
His breath was that of mist and cold.
His hair began to freeze as did his lips.
He barely could keep his eyes open, but he wasn't going to die here.
"I wont die here...I can't die here...that's it, these people care for their comrades...they'll stop, if they're in trouble...with the water below me, I've got enough to pause the freezing enough for me to attack...damn, if this was anywhere else, then they would have won, that Uchiha girl did all of this, she coordinated their efforts, she's very dangerous, but with her Sharingan she'd predict me attacking so I can't go for her, the same for Haku...so that leaves blondie...I'm sorry for my weakness Zabuza-sama, I wont fail you now..."
Using the last bits of his strength along with connecting to the water below to assist him, he shot off his hand in its watery form.
Pushing all the chakra he could to make sure it didn't freeze, he shot it out of the dome, and towards Naruko's face, fully intending to drown the girl to save his own chances of losing and even dying in this battle...
Back with Ryouta, Anko and Ameyuri, the latter stared at Ryouta, her face not revealing anything that she was feeling. No anger, no hate, no happiness, it was hard to discern what was truly going on with the young woman.
"I take it, since you're here, means Kushimaru is either disable, or dead."
Ameyuri stated rather than asked.
Anko looked towards Ryouta.
"Dead?"
"Yes, he's dead."
Anko revealed a half smile.
"So you took out a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen...damn my Genin's cool."
Ryouta raised an eyebrow while Ameyuri twirled around, and began to cry dramatically.
"Kushimaru! I can't believe it! I'll never see your face again! Though, I didn't really see it anyway due to the fact you wear a mask! But still, your precious face, and your beautiful way of killing people! Your light has extinguished from this world, never to be seen again!"
Ameyuri continued to spin as she cried.
Though Anko scoffed.
"Bit over the top, fool anyone with it?"
Ameyuri paused, sticking out her tongue towards Anko.
"Maybe not. So he's dead huh...ah well, they come, and they go. Though I will miss the happiness his stupidity gave me."
Ryouta couldn't work her out.
Did she care?
Didn't she care?
He couldn't really tell at all.
"...Are you really so uncaring about the passing of your teammate?"
Ryouta asked, so Ameyuri skipped forward.
"He's a man that I knew for a while, I only really kept him around for the company. Gets lonely when you're out on your own. He did piss me off a good deal though, so you can take it or leave it when it comes to things like his death. But still, you killed him huh?"
"Yes, that's right. I had no choice."
Ryouta replied, Ameyuri licked her lips.
"Did you do it on your own?" Ryouta nodded. "That's excellent. You know, I'm beginning to fall in love~ Seeing your skills, you wielding a blade, and your ruthless side to take a human life, I am experiencing a new desire. Say, wanna take Kushimaru's place by my side? I usually only work with people that I trust or can have do as I want, but I'll make an exception for you sweetheart. We could go picnicking, see the world. What do you say?"
Ryouta cringed as Anko narrowed her eyebrows.
"I wont let you do anything with this boy. Besides, now that he's here, it's two on one, you can't beat the pair of us together. Especially if he beat your teammate, and we were dueling to a stand still. He'll help push us over the edge."
Ameyuri placed a finger to her chin.
"That's a good point actually now I'm thinking about it. Shit, I don't really want to die just yet, I've got a few months left in me."
Ryouta blinked.
"A few...months?"
"Heh, don't worry about that sweet cheeks." Ameyuri bit into her finger. "Now, I've got to split, but I'll leave behind a good boy for you to play with." She winked at Ryouta. "Next time, my darling. I'm going to go and spread the news you took out Kushimaru, if I do then I'm sure we'll be bound together, forever~" She flies through some hand signs, then slams her hand down. "Summoning Jutsu!"
Ryouta and Anko take a step back as an explosion of smoke surrounds the young woman.
A few seconds later, they heard a buzzing sound, Ryouta and Anko's eyes widen when they see a giant bee standing before them. Along with another smaller bee that Ameyuri was riding on top of.
"A flipping bee?!"
Anko yells, Ameyuri snickers.
"They can fly, and sometimes I need to make an escape, and watch as the enemies can't do a damn thing to capture me~"
"Wait!"
Anko tried to stop her, summoning snakes from her sleeves to bind her, but the giant bee got in the way, and shot off its stinger towards her.
Anko was surprised to see what was going on, only to see Ryouta jumping in the way, and breathed fire onto his blade, slicing through the stinger, cutting it right down the middle and the two halves drops down to the ground.
Doing that however, allowed Ameyuri to gain a good height.
Flying high into the air, she looked down and waved towards them.
"See you next time, my adorable Ryou-kun~ Think about my offer, it will be fun, I assure you~"
She winked and flew off.
However, as she was, she began to cough, and soon some blood came out of her mouth.
Pain went through her system.
"Damn..."
She murmured as she flew off into the distance.
Leaving Ryouta and Anko behind to deal with the giant bee, the pair saw the bees stinger growing another one.
"Ooh come on, that's not fair! These things can grow their stingers back?!"
Anko complained, Ryouta chuckled awkwardly.
"Sensei...are you okay...?"
Anko twitched her eyebrow for the bee.
"Stupid chakra bee...Ryouta! We're killing the bee! Get ready!"
Seeing the fires within Anko's eyes, Ryouta laughed nervously.
"Yes Sensei."
As he said it, the large bee aimed its stinger towards the pair, shooting off a barrage of them. Even the speed of them was surprising, Ryouta and Anko kicked it up a notch, and began dodging, watching as the stingers pierced the bridge with such force that it ripped right through said bridge.
"Shit, if it keeps going, then it will destroy the bridge."
Anko murmured, Ryouta had similar thoughts.
All of Tazuna's hard work and efforts would have been wasted.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Ryouta opened his mouth, shooting off a strong huge ball of fire. Even Anko was mildly surprised by the size of it, but the bee reacted to it, and began flapping its wings, unleashing a powerful torrent of wind, the flames rather than gaining strength from the wind, the flames were being diverted by the power of the wind and hit the water to the right hand side.
Ryouta then saw that it fired off another stinger towards him.
He went to move, when Anko's snakes appeared from her sleeves, wrapping around the stinger, and stopped it with said snakes.
She then pulled out the hammer and axe duo, lining up the hammer at the end of the stinger once turning the pointed edge towards the bee.
"Have this you little…bee!"
Anko brought up the hammer, swinging it forward, and slammed it with enough force that the stinger shot like a bullet into the air, Ryouta was astonished as he could see how heavy it was with Anko's snakes struggling to keep it in the air, yet Anko slammed it as if it was a normal sized ball, and the speed of it was enough to create some air pressure around them, blowing their hair around.
The stinger came closer to the bee, which tried to move out of the way, so Ryouta took out some shurikens, and tossed them from different locations.
"Shadow Shuriken Clone Jutsu!"
Using the Jutsu, many shurikens appeared, surrounding the bees wings. Thanks to his usage of the Shurikenjutsu, Ryouta was able to manipulate them rather quickly.
The stinger pierced through the bees body, but it let out a buzzing sound and forced the stinger out, Anko's eyebrows narrowing.
"Pain didn't bother it...we need to make sure it can't move..."
"Can't move..." Ryouta looked at the sword he recently got. "Alright Sensei, I'll make sure it can't move."
Anko tilted her head, but them smirked.
"Alright then, you pin it down, I'll finish it off!"
Anko let out with her excited expression as Ryouta took Nuibari he got from Kushimaru.
While distracted by the shurikens and unable to move due to them being so close, Ryouta aimed the blade, tossing it forward, and thanks to his training with wires, he manipulated the blade mid air, piercing through the wings, and pulled the wire in certain directions until they were stitched together.
"Now Sensei!"
Ryouta called, catching Nuibari and pulled it so the wings wouldn't be a problem for Anko.
Anko smirked, gathering her chakra.
She then inhaled deeply.
"Fire Release, Dragon Fire Jutsu!"
From her mouth, a thin line of fire was released.
Ryouta watched as Anko's flames hit the bee head on, entering the wound the stinger left, then erupted in a mass of fire that spread across the bees body, both inside and out. Like a flaming meteor, the bee fell down towards the ground, and continued to burn as Anko's flames spread all around the bees body.
"Cremate you horrible bee."
As the bee died, Ryouta looked to Anko.
"Sensei, we managed to win."
"Yeah...though that Ameyuri managed to get away. I don't understand her at all. She...well, she's gone for the moment, she's a problem for another day. However, with her gone, that means we're free to go and help the others. So, I'll go and check on Karin and Sakura, you..."
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
As she was speaking, Ryouta and Anko both heard a loud scream coming from the thick fog surrounding them.
"That voice..."
Anko began, Ryouta recognized the voice, becoming extremely worried about what was happening.
"No..."
He murmured, feeling the worry for who was in danger.
As that went on, with little else he could do, Mangetsu went after Naruko, seeing her as the easy target, fully intending to drown her, to force Haku to release the Jutsu.
Satsuki caught it with the sight of her Sharingan, and without even realizing it, she began to run forward.
She couldn't explain her, her body wouldn't stop.
Haku also noticed it, seeing Satsuki moving on her own and at the speed she was...realized what she was going to do...
"What?"
Naruko didn't realize what was happening, until it was too late.
As it was going to wrap around Naruko's head, it wrapped around Satsuki's own while Satsuki forced Naruko out of the way.
Mangetsu smirked as he saw that, and forced water down her throat. The water couldn't be dispelled no matter how hard Satsuki tried to grab and rip it away.
"No! Satsuki! Come on!"
Naruko desperately clawed at the water dome, trying to rip it away.
But like Satsuki, Naruko couldn't rip it away either.
Naruko desperately took out a kunai, and slashed at the water, but it regenerated.
Satsuki, while drowning, took out a paper bomb, tossing it to the water arm.
But thanks to the water below them fuelling him, the water only dispelled a little, and still drowned Satsuki.
Haku looked at the mass of water assisting Mangetsu, gritting her teeth.
"Damn it...as long as he's got that water source...even if I attempt to freeze the parts he's connected to, Mangetsu would use other parts, I'd have to freeze all that water and Satsuki-san doesn't have the time...and freezing him...would freeze Satsuki-san since they're connected now...damn it, Mangetsu is truly smart and terrifying at the same time..."
While Haku was thinking, Mangetsu's eyes shot for Haku's own.
"I-If you kill me...your teammate...will die...as well...the water...will freeze her...insides. Are you...a Demon like Zabuza-sama...to kill a comrade...to kill me...?"
Haku watched as her ice spread across his arm and headed for Satsuki.
With no choice, Haku deactivated her technique, stopping the cold, which in turn caused Mangetsu to fall down to the ground with over 70 percent frozen of his body frozen, and his eyes shot for Haku.
"This is...why you...were never...worthy...of being Zabuza-sama's apprentice...you're not cold enough to kill a comrade to take out the enemy..."
Haku narrowed her brows, tightening her hands as she cast a look to Satsuki.
Satsuki was freed from the water dome, since Mangetsu was more focused upon trying to break the ice as quickly as possible.
She fell down to the floor...
She wasn't moving.
"S-Satsuki! H-Hey! Come on! W-What are you doing huh?! Get up already!"
Naruko shook her with desperation, but it wasn't working.
Haku rushed to her side, and bent down, placing a hand on Satsuki's neck.
Looking over her as quickly as possible, trying to find out anything.
Then she did, which caused Haku's eyebrows to lower as she tried her best to try and help Satsuki in anyway that she can.
"...She...She did it...to save you, Naruko-chan. Though she is distant...Satsuki-san truly does care for her comrades...her body just moved, for you...Naruko-chan..."
Naruko's eyes widened with horror.
Her eyes blazed, and cried at the same time.
She never thought Satsuki would ever do that.
Despite all of the competition they gave one another, despite how they competed with each other…
She dove in, and saved her life.
Anger, fear, pain was being etched onto Naruko's face.
The rival…
No, the friend that Satsuki was to her…
Someone she was able to relate with.
Someone she always didn't like, but deep down felt that they had some kind of connection, like she did with Ryouta.
She also thought about how Ryouta was going to react to seeing Satsuki being drowned.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Naruko screamed out, as a weird chakra began to flow around her form.
The chakra was strong, thick, and bubbling.
Haku saw the chakra, and felt cold inside.
"What...is this feeling? This chakra..."
Haku watched as Naruko's deadly dangerous glare shot for the recovering Mangetsu.
He flinched as he saw Naruko's rage.
"W-What the hell...?"
Whatever he was staring at right now…
He knew that it was some kind of Demon.

So this was the second part of the fights, Naruko and Ryouta made a brief detour to the village to help them from Gato, then they came to the battlefield.
This chapter focused more on Ameyuri vs Anko along with Mangetsu vs Satsuki and Haku, with Kakashi still dueling Zabuza and pushing him further and further.
Then Ryouta and Naruko arrived, providing support to Anko and Satsuki and Haku.
Ryouta and Anko teamed up, after Ameyuri made a hasty retreat but not before showing something was wrong with her, and together they managed to beat the summon using their teamwork. Ameyuri's story hasn't been finished just yet so she'll be back in the future.
Satsuki showed her intelligence and power this chapter, along with Haku showing some of her skills, if Mangetsu didn't have access to so much water, then Satsuki and Haku would have beaten him together.
Satsuki and Naruko also teamed up together, while Haku prepared her Jutsu. Satsuki was briefly stunned by memories of Itachi threatening to kill Ryouta thanks to Mangetsu's taunts, but Naruko soon snapped her out of it, and because of that, Satsuki helped come up with a plan to stop Mangetsu, which was working until he mustered enough to try and drown Naruko, but Satsuki stepped in the way and stopped it before Naruko could be, saving her.
Now Naruko's eyes have begun to change, and the Nine Tails power has begun leaking out.
