Hello, and welcome to the next chapter!

Xionremind22; Thanks! The Chunin Exams are gonna be quite fun to explore.

The Lord Bread; Depending on the infant, they can have hair, little hair, or no hair at all.

danielhaywoodsnow; Thanks very much! Anko and Mei will have some fun times. Ao is going to be a little freaked out this chapter with Ryouta. They will have their talks eventually.

Skull Flame; Yeah, it went good. Hmm, lets see what happens with those two.

LezarioFanficio; The 8 Gates could be cool, I don't see why not. He is quite skilled with Fuinjutsu, something we'll see in some future arcs.

Isao Gin; Mei and Ryouta are gonna have some fun moments~ Thanks!

ShadowUzumaki55; Thanks! Yeah, he managed to help them both out. Ryouta can use his Susanoo pretty well, and we'll see him use it more in some up coming fights when he has no option left. Mangetsu and Suigetsu will be yeah. Ryouta and Mei's interactions will be fun~ Anko's gonna have her fun.

Silver crow; Thanks. Yeah, Mei's gonna show up now. Zabuza did yeah, Zabuza will come in time to admit how he feels. Yeah, Hanabi is. Karin could do yeah. Glad you liked the fight between Kakashi and Zabuza. Anko did show concern, since she was woried that perhaps someone had died. He hasn't seen the Nine Tails in action at that point. Yeah, he managed to save Satsuki. Anko did show her concern last chapter. Ryouta did yeah. Ryouta managed to stop Naruko. Mangetsu just wanted to hurt Haku, regardless of logic, so he said anything to make her feel any kind of pain. Haku surely did show her sadness, Ryouta managed to save Zabuza's life. They finally got through to Zabuza yeah. Yeah, he had a moment with Kakashi. Mei will appear this time. Yeah, that's a cool Attack on Titan idea. They'd be cool for Black Clover. Mei will do. Probably not at the start for Black Clover, later down the line he would be.

MDM11; Ryouta's gonna learn some of them yeah. Tenten getting that would be fun. Karin and Haku gaining them would be interesting. They'd be cool Sensei's for them to train under. Thanks for the harem suggestions! They'd be cool to learn under for them~

guest D; I'm gonna try my best yeah.

Shepard; Yeah, it will do eventually. Thanks for the support.

Star Killer; I'm glad you enjoy the story, it will continue eventually.

Guest 1; Yeah, they'd be cool, thanks for the suggestions!

Guest 2; Thanks very much! Yeah, Kakashi and Zabuza have quite the fighting styles. For the moment Mangetsu did, he's still alive so we'll have to wait and see what happens with him. Hanabi is yeah~ Yeah, he could combine them in the future. That's a pretty cool look for Ryouta when he uses those together. I like those names~ No don't worry about it at all, I really liked the ideas~

War Sage; Thanks! Yeah, I would have thought it would be able to be used with a single rib. Kakashi was looking at Ryouta's face while Zabuza was looking down, Ryouta did it within a second or so, so Kakashi didn't have much chance to look at the rib. He might've seen the silver a little, but didn't see the rib itself. Mei will appear this chapter. Ryouta only uses Susanoo when he needs to, he didn't need to use it to restrain Naruko. Glad you liked the Genjutsu scene. Yeah, Zabuza and Haku, I thought would be more great for their developments and moments to spend that time together. They didn't kill them, but have made sure they can't bother the Wave again. Combining After image, and Flying Thunder God would be pretty awesome! Lee's quite strong~ Ryouta might wear some weights. After this chapter, they'll be back in the leaf. Zabuza's got some stuff coming up. Fusing them together would be awesome! Right now the police force isn't, but it could be in the future. Ryouta knows both of his Mangekyou abilities yeah. Mikoto was told about Tobi by Hiruzen after the Uchiha Incident went down. Probably broken up a bit. There will be a good few at the Chunin Exams yeah. It is fun to speculate what it would be like if Ryouta was in the past wars and such, would be cool to see. Thanks for the suggestions!

Andrew123456; Ryouta will use his Susanoo during the Chunin Exams, that's all I can say.

Guest 3; Hanabi has been yeah, she's about a year younger than Hinata is. Yeah, maybe Hinata could do that. Yeah, Kakashi showed his smarts and his skills. Ryouta had other things going on, maybe he and Mangetsu will have a few things to say in the future. I'm sure Kurama probably is feeling like that right now. Kurama's pov might come at a later time. Yeah, Ryouta's been training with his Susanoo over the years and has a good control over it. They just beat up the bandits. Zabuza might be like that yeah. Yeah, this is the finale of the wave, and we'll be moving onto the Chunin Exams next time. Mei's coming back, it's gonna be fun! I've got some missions for after the Chunin Exams.

Brainstorm Sorcerer; Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed the fights! Yeah, Zabuza and Haku finally came together again. Yeah, it's building the relationship between Kakashi and Ryouta. Hehe, it's going to be fun for Mei and the others when she arrives. Yeah, what Mangetsu said to Haku was like, he wasn't thinking and merely wished to hurt Haku in anyway he could. I can't reveal what's gonna happen with both Mangetsu and Suigetsu, all I can say is that they've still got roles to play. Only Haku really saw what happened with Naruko and she might have questions down the road, Satsuki was still a bit out of it at the time. I can say that Ryouta and Kurama are going to meet at some point. Kakashi was more focused on Ryouta's face, and while might have seen the silver chakra, Ryouta turned it on and off fast, Zabuza only saw because he was looking down at the time. Lee will have shining moments, even in Shippuden I've got some cool stuff for him planned. Summons were always cool, I loved it when they worked in tandem with their summoner. Ao...yeah, he's going to have some intriguing reactions to Ryouta. It would be cool if Kakashi could show more Jutsu's. Yeah, it's going to be fun~

boku no hero; Yeah, it will be some of the stories I will focus on. If I do, then yeah he'd probably be more of a villain. I couldn't reveal what happens with Rensuke's history or family right now. Yeah, that's a cool personality for her. That would be nice for a relationship between Shoto and Rensuke. Maybe he could have an aunt like that. I'd have to see what happens in Vigilantes before doing that. His Quirk would be powerful. He'll have some dreams. He could save Eri. Rensuke and Tomura could have a relationship like that. Nighteye's could be cool. Tomura's brother would be the same age as Katsuki and the others. I'd probably just have Tomura's full power awaken a bit later on, so when Oc's around 3 or 4, so Tomura would be 8 or 9, nothing would really change from it being delayed a bit. He'd be different to Izuku. Yeah, maybe he could gain the power earlier. I'm sure David would be shocked. Melissa could be. Maybe he could go to school with some of his future U.A classmates. Thanks for the suggestions.

Guest 4; Depending on the character, they could play roles in Slash/Dog.

Guest 5; Yeah, he could be Salem. That would be fun for their relationships. He could have a desire to protect Ruby. He could have silver eyes, that would be good. I guess they could be yeah. That would be good between Ruby and him. Yeah, I'd have to think about powers/weapons and pairings, things like that. Yeah, that sounds good to me, thanks for the suggestions.

Guest 6; Being their son could be interesting. Zera doing that would be cool. Being adopted by them would be cool. He could have Virgo. Mirajane could feel like that, it would make sense. Larcade could have something like that. It was sad when she lost her God Slayer Magic. His older brother doing something like that would be cool and emotional. He could have an appearance like that. I might cover that part of the story. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hinata fan; Yup, she is. Yeah maybe~

Well, with those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!

Land of Waves end!

A day after the events of the Zabuza fight, and the ending of Gato, the bridge was being built faster and faster. Thanks to the help of the townspeople, and the Ninja that had the free time to make sure that it could be built.

Zabuza had nearly recovered from his wounds, and as it turned out, Ryouta had been taking care of him. While not a professional by any means with Medical Ninjutsu, thanks to Izumi's teachings and what she left for him, he had enough knowledge to take care of his wounds.

"You should be all set soon Zabuza-san."

Zabuza watched as Ryouta finished off cleaning up what was needed to be cleaned, and went to leave Zabuza to rest, when he stopped him.

"You saved me on the bridge. How did you do that?"

"What do you mean?"

Ryouta asked, trying to diverge from the actual reason, and hoped Zabuza didn't see what it was.

It would be difficult to explain it, and he right now didn't even know if he could say anything. Zabuza technically still wasn't a true ally.

"That day with your brother, and the fight with the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, it wasn't long, but I saw some green chakra...creature I suppose. I hadn't ever seen anything like that before. It wasn't some kind of elemental Jutsu."

Ryouta hadn't realized that Zabuza did see that.

He recalled Shisui using Susanoo that day.

He didn't know if he should say anything, so he did his best to simply lie.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about."

Zabuza, despite his best attempts, could see that there was something deep that Ryouta was keeping hidden.

"It's fine to deny it, I guess it is a secret for you Uchiha's to have. But, I believe you did the same thing. I saw, for a moment, the most beautiful silver radiating from your body."

Ryouta glanced at Zabuza, who understood what Ryouta wasn't saying.

Zabuza chortled.

"You know kid, you went through all this trouble for Haku, you even went towards another village to gain this for Haku. What made you so certain that I'd even agree?"

"I wasn't certain."

Zabuza smirked at the answer.

"So then what was it?"

"Haku-chan... for you, she was the light that connected to some humanity within you. You care for Haku-chan, I saw it that day, and because of the care you have for her, I knew that you might be able to be reasoned with. I didn't know for certain if you could, but I had to try, for her sake. So she didn't have to lose you...like I lost my brother. I know that not everything is going to be resolved like this, but when it can be, I'm going to try my hardest. And when it can't be...I'll do my best to support those that need supporting and do what is necessary."

He was rather astonished that he had such a world view.

It felt like he was speaking to Shisui, yet not exactly either.

"Haku...she seemed very happy with you."

"Zabuza-san..."

Zabuza huffed.

"Don't get the wrong idea, I was just pointing something out, that's all."

"No...I think I've got the right idea, Zabuza-san."

Zabuza raised a brow.

Ryouta went to leave, when the door was knocked on.

Before speaking, Ryouta knew who it was, so he opened it and saw Haku stood there.

"Haku-chan, want to spend time with Zabuza-san?"

"Oh erm...if you're finished..."

"Of course, I've just finished healing him. Spend as much time with him as you like Haku-chan."

Haku gave a humble smile.

"Thank you...for everything Ryou-kun."

Ryouta bowed his head, and walked off, leaving the pair alone.

Zabuza noticed Haku's eyes on Ryouta's form as he left, and saw how she held...something within her eyes.

When she sat down beside Zabuza, he gazed upon her, and she did the same thing back.

Neither said anything for over two minutes, it seemed as if they were transfixed.

But then Zabuza spoke up.

"That boy, did he treat you right?"

"Zabuza-sama..."

"Did he?"

He asked again, Haku placed a hand on her chest.

"...He was very wonderful to me, he always has been. Since the day we parted...he's always been in my corner, and has supported me in all of my endeavours. He has helped me gain strength, he has been my rock through difficult times."

Zabuza understood how deep Haku felt.

Even though he wasn't the best in experiencing his own emotions, he thought that it was something that even he could comprehend.

"You have romantic feelings for him, don't you?"

Haku gasped, and blushed up a storm at the same time.

"T-That's...Zabuza-sama..."

When she didn't know what to say, especially to Zabuza who she didn't even know how he was going to react.

Zabuza...seemed to be rather enjoying it.

"Well, he isn't bad. He's strong, skilled, and has a mean left hook." Haku stifled a laugh while Zabuza openly did so. "You could do way worse than that boy, and I'd wager not much better either...there's something about that boy...I don't know what it is..."

"I do."

Haku spoke up, Zabuza raised an eyebrow.

"What's that?"

"His heart, is filled with kindness and love. Despite everything that he has been through...when he lost his brother, he could have given up...but he didn't. I really admire that...and even now, he wears a bright smile. His smile...is magnificent to me. Because it represents who Ryou-kun is...the kind compassionate man that I..."

"Hmmm...then it must be you do have affection for him."

Haku didn't deny it.

In fact, she was happy that she did so.

"Yes...Zabuza-sama."

"So tell me...about your life in Konoha. Tell me what you've done."

Haku became joyful, and did just that.

She spent most of the night together with Zabuza, just catching up.

She told him everything, all of the good times she's had, all of the joys she's experienced, and Zabuza was happy for her, glad that it seemed like all of the years before, he had done a good thing and left Haku, so she could have a happy life, and now that he'd be able to see her grow..

He never thought that he'd be this happy.

He didn't even think he could become this happy.

As that was going on, Ryouta went back to his room, and saw that Satsuki was laying in his bed. Her eyes went towards his own.

He smiled towards the raven haired girl, before moving towards the right hand side of her. He allowed his shirt to come off, and be discarded towards the right hand side, before laying down next to her.

"It seems that Zabuza-san and Haku-chan are catching up after everything that happened."

Ryouta explained, as Satsuki showed a half smile.

"Though he was technically our enemy, after what Haku told us...I think it probably is nice that they get to meet again."

"Yeah...though I have to admit that it was touch and go for a little bit there, I wasn't sure if Zabuza-san would agree to this."

Ryouta spoke truthfully, something Satsuki understood.

"You still did it, I'm sure that Haku is really appreciative of what you've done for her. Giving her...a chance to see someone that meant a lot to her."

"I just did what I thought I could do."

His hand placed itself on her forehead, something she lightly smiled at.

"You know...that day, my body just moved on its own, I can't really explain it."

Satsuki brought up.

Ryouta looked over her face, and saw her genuine unsure feelings.

"I think I can, Satsuki-chan."

Satsuki tilted her neck.

"How's that then?"

Ryouta smiled as she allowed her head to lay on his chest.

"It's because you cared deep down. You only move like that when you want someone to be saved. I know you and Naruko-chan don't get on the greatest...but, I feel deep down that you do care for her, right Satsuki-chan?"

She didn't confirm or deny it.

All she could do was simply give off a very small smile as she snuggled against Ryouta's body.

Her mind cast back to what happened during the fights, and how she did what she did.

She wondered if Ryouta was right, and that she really did care for Naruko.

Deep down, she thought that perhaps he was right.

She felt odd.

She always assumed that only her Mother, the clan, minus Itachi, and Ryouta were the only ones she'd ever do anything like that for.

But seeing how she did it for Naruko…

Satsuki began thinking about things a little differently than before.

The next day, Ryouta woke up and saw that Satsuki was still asleep, so he quietly went out of the room.

As he went to move towards the stairs, he felt a strong breeze coming from the right hand side. His eyes looked and saw that Naruko was sat by the window, looking out of it, and towards the large body of water.

It seemed that she was in deep thought, so he thought about leaving her alone for the moment.

But that didn't come to pass as Naruko caught the sight of Ryouta.

"Ryou!"

"Hey Naruko-chan, everything alright?"

Naruko tilted her neck.

"Why wouldn't it be?"

"Well, I just saw your face, and you looked deep in thought."

Naruko shook her head, and beckoned him over, so he walked, sitting down beside her when nearby.

Ryouta looked towards Naruko, saw that she was wringing her hands together.

"Tell me what's troubling you."

"Ehehe...it's just...what I saw from Zabuza, and Haku...and how the others with Zabuza were...I don't want to be like that. I don't want to be a tool...especially with...you know, about me..."

"You're not a tool Naruko-chan."

"Y-Yeah! That's why, I'm going to have my own Ninja way!"

"Hehe, what's that then?"

Naruko furrowed her brows, and thought deeply about it.

She thought back to what Haku had said beforehand.

She also thought about what Ryouta had said.

What they both did.

How Satsuki sacrificed herself for Naruko.

How they never gave up.

Naruko nodded to herself, as if she's deciding on what would be best.

"I'm...never going to go back on my word. That's my Ninja way!"

"Never going back on your word...I see, that's a lovely Ninja way Naruko-chan~ I'm sure you'll do anything you put your mind too Naruko-chan~"

Ryouta spoke with a strong smile on his face.

The fact that Naruko was thinking this deeply did make him quite happy.

"Hehe! Thanks! But you know...when I saw what was happening with Satsuki that day...I was really shocked. I didn't think she'd...but, she did. She surprised me so much...I don't wanna be a failure, Ryou! I want to...become strong, to protect people...like Haku had said...it's good to want to protect others, to...drive you. Don't you think?"

Ryouta couldn't help but smile at the maturity that Naruko was showing.

It showed that she was looking beyond herself, and towards others.

And he knew how that came about, thanks to a certain Ice Release user.

"That does sound like something Haku-chan would say, and she's right. Fighting for others can be very rewarding in of itself. It's a good mark of being a Hokage, as that's what he does, isn't he? He fights for the entire village everyday, running the village and making sure that it is as best as he can make it."

"Yeah...you're right! And one day, that'll be me, just keep watching Ryou! I'll become Hokage, and the strongest one at that!"

Ryouta smiled as he placed a hand on top of her own.

Her cheeks began reddening as he peered into her eyes, his smile quite bright on his face.

"I'll always support you, Naruko-chan. Whatever you do."

Naruko gained a bright smile on her face.

Hearing that...no, she already knew that he did.

She recalled how he was there for her when finding out about the Nine Tails, helping out with the Nine Tails when it was beginning to take over her.

"Me too! I'll always support you!"

Ryouta chuckled as he felt Naruko's hand holding onto his own.

He looked down, and felt some redness on his face.

But it also felt nice so neither stopped and simply sat in a surprisingly quiet setting.

As that was going on, Anko casually sat down stairs, and was playing with a kunai, while Karin sat close by.

"Now that the fighting has stopped, it seems that peace has come around here~"

Anko watched as Karin let out a yawn.

"I'm glad that it has done, it was getting rough there for a while."

"Did it put you off wanting to be a Ninja?"

Karin pursed her lips, and ultimately shook her head.

"No, I don't think it has. I think it has made me want to train harder."

Anko gave a bemused look.

"No kidding, you want to train more?"

"I saw on that bridge, that I can't always rely on others to fight for me. Even if it is just enough for me to survive, and even manage to out think my opponents, I want to be able to fight and defend myself, you know? Sakura even showed a good deal of will power when she fought that damn Suigetsu, and the others put in the work to fight."

"Indeed, but don't count yourself out. Sakura fought for you to have time for your seal, it helped out in the end. Teamwork is also essential sometimes, and being able to fight for yourself, I'm glad that this has taught you that it is necessary."

Karin inclined her neck in agreement.

"Yeah...Sensei, can you train me in how to fight?"

"I certainly can, if that's what you want."

Karin nodded strongly.

"Both Ryou-kun and Haku-chan showed their prowess in a fight and how they did it on their own at numerous points."

"Those two are very talented, but so are you, Karin. You don't have to be a power house, to be an effective fighter. It can mean using Jutsu's to trick your opponents. Perhaps we'll see what your elemental nature is, and go from there. Hey you never know, maybe it is Earth Release~"

"Maybe...thanks Sensei. I'll do my best to grow strong."

Anko quite liked what she was saying.

It made her hopeful for Karin and her future.

"Yeah, I know you will Karin. Believe in yourself, show me why you're just as valuable as your teammates on a battlefield. And as I said, it doesn't mean having to be a power house, it can be your intelligence and Jutsu knowledge to get you through. Though I have to warn you, I wont be going easy on you."

Karin offered a small smile.

At first, she didn't really know what Anko was going to be like.

But now, as time went on, it showed that she truly was showcasing her skills, Anko was a Sensei that Karin could readily call a good one, and though she did get annoyed at times, if Anko could help her out, then she was happy enough to do just that, and rely on Anko.

"I get it Sensei. No pain, no gain, right?"

Anko chortled.

"Exactly it."

Karin looked out of the window, and her smile grew on her face.

They continued quietly sitting together.

That was until Anko noticed that Karin's face turned pale.

"Alright, what's with the look red head?"

"There's some strong chakras heading here as we speak."

"Strong chakras...it could be that woman from Kiri. Still, go and get Kakashi, I'll go and greet them."

Anko jumped up, and shot for the door.

Getting outside, she waited for over a minute, before she saw someone coming over the horizon.

Mei, dressed in a blue outfit that revealed some of her cleavage, her long eyelashes batted together, as Ao walked behind her, and some other Kiri Ninja.

Anko watched as Mei came close.

"So, you're the one named Mei Terumi?"

Anko asked, Mei waved her hand.

"That's correct, you must be...the Sensei."

"That's right, I'm a Sensei."

"No, not just any, you're my future husbands Sensei~"

"Future...husband?" Anko murmured, and then came to the conclusion what she was saying. "So, I take it you're after Ryouta, right?"

"Again, correct. He is my future betrothed."

Anko held a smirk instantly on her face.

This...was so good for Anko.

She could get a lot of material out of this.

Even after Mei had gone back to Kiri.

"I'm not sure how the other Uchiha would react to that..."

"But, I thought Shisui-kun was..."

"Not Shisui, the Uchiha girl."

Anko corrected, so Mei furrowed her brows.

"I understand. The main reason I'm here, after seeing my future hubby, is to deal with Zabuza. Is he being safely secured?"

As Anko went to answer, Kakashi stepped out of the house.

"He is, he's relaxed since the fight at the bridge, and after speaking to him, it seems that he does want to come to a resolution with yourself."

"That's good to hear, we could use a man of Zabuza's talents, both for what is about to come about, and what might happen in the future…" While Mei spoke, Ryouta came out of the house together with Karin, Mei's eyes lit up. "Ooh my, haven't you turned out so adorable~ A few more years, and you'll be all set~"

Kakashi blinked, and thought she was saying it to him.

"Well, that's mighty kind of you..."

Mei walked by him, and then casually hugged Ryouta into her bosom, his face turning immediately a red colour, Karin's eyes shot wide open, while Kakashi hung his head down, Anko giggled at the sight before her.

"I-It's nice to see you too Mei-san~"

"Ooh yes, it is very nice~ It's been too long, I could only think of the sadness you went through, and I wasn't there to comfort you. But, that changes now, you can take as much comfort you want from me you adorable treasure~"

Karin's eyes flew into a rage, and she shot her finger for Mei.

"W-What are you doing you hag?!"

Mei's eyebrow twitched.

But before she could say anything, Ao noticed Ryouta's face and then flashbacks of Shisui entered his mind.

Then the flashbacks overlapped with Ryouta's current form, his face turned a pale white colour.

"Ooh my God! It is him! He looks remarkably like Shisui! The eyes! The chakra! The way he's looking at me is like Shisui! Even the way that he stands reminds me of Shisui! M-Mei-sama! C-Can we leave quickly?!"

Anko blinked at the sudden fear on Ao's face and how he was shaking from even the mere appearance of Ryouta, while Mei sweat dropped.

"What's his problem?"

Mei glanced at Ao who was quivering when looking towards Ryouta.

"It's...he has issues about Shisui-kun, who beat him in a fight once so bad that...it left Ao with...some trauma whenever he hears his name, or apparently sees his little brother~" Anko glanced at Ao and saw his shivering. "But, enough of that for the moment. It is time to get down to business. When you're ready, I'd like to converse with Zabuza."

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Kakashi bows his head.

"Please follow me, would it be okay if we also are in attendance?"

"I'd prefer if you were in case things were to not go the way that I hope it is going to go, so it is fine with me."

"Thank you."

Kakashi brought Mei inside, while Anko leaned towards Karin, glancing at the blushing Ryouta.

"Ooh my, can you see his face? He's blushing~ I think he must subconsciously like Mei-chan there~"

Karin's face fell while Anko snickered to herself for the enjoyment that she was receiving.

"T-That can't be true!"

"But it is sunshine, I think that he really does like Mei-chan~ Can you imagine their marriage? Aah, I think she even has a Kekkei Genkai if I'm not mistaken? At least that's what I've been told...wait, she has two~ Two Kekkei Genkai huh...can you imagine the children they'd have? Sharingan along with...Hmmm, I think it's Lava Release, and...is it Scorch...no, it's Boil Release isn't it…? I think so anyway~ Damn, an Uchiha with those would really be on fire huh~?"

Karin's bit her lower lip while Anko laughed to herself for the most part.

She truly was enjoying this, and she'd continue to enjoy this as much as she could do.

Sitting down at a table was Zabuza, and on the other side was Mei. Konoha's Ninja stood behind Zabuza, and the Kiri's Ninja stood behind Mei. Ao kept looking towards Ryouta, and his mind instantly went towards Shisui.

Mangetsu and Suigetsu were currently stationed near Zabuza. Neither looked particularly happy about going with Mei and Kiri, but they didn't say anything for the moment, wondering where the conversation was going to go.

With how intense it was, no one uttered a word.

"First of all, I'm not going to become your lapdog, got it?"

Zabuza said directly to Mei who furrowed her brows.

"I see, I didn't even intend for that to be a thing. Your crimes within Kiri cannot be ignored. However, there are many things I have been thinking about regarding you. We all have committed situations that we haven't had other choice but to do. I'm sure the adults in this room can attest to that being the case?"

Anko and Kakashi stayed quiet, and reflected on their own past briefly, and how sometimes they had to make choices...rather, they lacked any choices.

Zabuza didn't voice his own thoughts for over thirty seconds.

But then he did begin to nod.

"The Mizukage, how far has it gotten?"

"Far too much for Kiri to survive under his current regime."

Zabuza scowled, wanting to know even more about how it truly had turned out since his departure.

"I always thought it would be like that."

"That's why the Bloody Mist has to see the errors of the past, and strive towards a better future. We also have some suspicions that the current Mizukage..." Her eyes briefly went towards Kakashi and the other Konoha Ninja, before clearing her throat. "...we believe that there is something happening with the current Mizukage, but we aren't sure what it is at this current stage. Ao has sensed that something is amiss with his chakra, but while he still is continuing on...it's a situation that is difficult to deal with. That's why, when I received word from my treasure-" Satsuki scowled as did most of the girls. "-about you and your ideas...I was intrigued. However, I'm not sure if I can take the chance with you. What makes it so that you wont stab me in the back?"

Kakashi could see her point.

Zabuza did try and murder the Mizukage.

Could Mei even take that chance?

Zabuza leaned forward, his fingers lacing together and formed a bridge for his chin to rest on.

"It's an understandable reason for concern. Perhaps I am untrustworthy, but we have a common goal. I realize my own power isn't enough for the current Mizukage, and you must have realized the same thing."

"He is very strong, and has strong allies. However, we have many allies on our side that wish for the fighting to end. For the Bloody Mist to lose the blood, and usher in a new age, without the need for excessive violence, to cleanse and rebuild. Is that what you want?"

"I want the Mizukage to be someone that isn't that bastard."

Zabuza answered directly.

Mei furrowed her brows.

She thought about it deeply for a few moments, before moving her finger towards Zabuza's general location.

"I'll agree for you to come, if he marries me."

"I am not marrying you!"

Zabuza snapped as he believed Mei's finger was pointing towards him, Mei's eyebrows twitched.

"Not you!"

Zabuza sighed deeply, before looking at the viable candidates, and believed it to be the elder one.

"Kakashi?!"

Kakashi felt flattered.

But that was dashed when Mei snapped once more.

"Not him either! That one there, the Uchiha boy!"

"The Uchiha boy?!"

"Ryou!?"

Zabuza and surprisingly Satsuki yelled at the same time.

"Are you serious?!"

"You can't you hag!"

"Ooh my such a development..."

"Eh...she wants to marry Ryou…?"

"N-No, if they marry then he might move to Kiri, and I'd have to see his Shisui looking face everyday! Mei-sama, please reconsider!"

Sakura and Karin tightened their hands at the thought of Mei doing that, while Haku looked astonished that was one of the things that she wanted from this, Naruko looked unsure of what was even going on at this point, Ao on the other hand kept shaking.

Anko noticed Kakashi casually sitting down, and hiding his face.

"Something wrong?"

"I just felt the need to sit down...that's all."

He said with a depressed voice, something Anko smirked at.

Mei wore a small smirk on her face.

"That is correct, I wish to have a strong husband. The boy that beat Kushimaru, and also convinced someone like you Zabuza to even have this meeting, I believe that he would be the perfect candidate, plus he is handsome which is going to be really great when he grows a bit more~"

"Tch, you would use this chance to gain a husband."

Mei's murderous glare landed upon Zabuza, who flinched when seeing Mei's anger on her face.

"I'm sorry, did you say something?"

Zabuza growled as Mei stared intently at him.

"Nothing, nothing at all. So, that's your...requirement?"

"Correct."

Mei teased, but she held a serious voice.

"Can Haku be with him?"

Haku flushed as did Ryouta, while Mei shrugged.

"Sure, I don't mind~"

Zabuza didn't even waste a second and pointed back.

"Kid, you're marrying Mei Terumi."

Ryouta did a spit take as did Haku. Satsuki looked angry at Zabuza, the same for Sakura and Karin.

"E-Eh?!"

"You said you'd do anything to help Haku and I remain together, so you're marrying this woman when you're old enough, got it?"

Ryouta looked towards Mei who waved casually.

He didn't know if this was serious.

Both Mei and Zabuza sounded serious.

His eyes went towards Haku who gazed right back at him with a large blush on her cheeks.

"W-Well, if it is for Haku-chan's sake...I'm willing to do what it takes for her to be happy."

Mei's eyes brightened while Satsuki had to intervene.

She couldn't hold back anymore.

"Okay no, he's not marrying-"

"Wonderful!" Mei spoke over, and casually went over, grabbed his hand, and dragged him back to her side, sitting him down beside her. "Now there's no more need to worry, welcome back to Kiri, Zabuza~"

"Great, all sorted."

Satsuki was seething at this point, Karin ground her teeth, Sakura kept yelling in her mind to not attack even though she wanted to.

Anko was pleased, and leaned towards Satsuki.

"Here comes the bride~ This really will do wonders for the relations of Kiri and Konoha, so don't worry so much."

"You be quiet snake charmer."

Anko was only spurred on to tease when seeing Satsuki's rage at what Mei was doing.

But, it did become serious again, and it took several hours of back and forth. Some agreements were made easily, some weren't. Some took time, and eventually, with the help and advice of the adults around, a true agreement came about, with Zabuza agreeing fully to cooperate with Mei, who in turn was satisfied with the results.

Ryouta was glad for Haku, that she was able to spend time with Zabuza again, and finally have some chance to speak her true thoughts to Zabuza.

Sometime later on, Mangetsu and Suigetsu stayed together, in a quiet area. Suigetsu looked rather pissed off, and he kept pacing back and forth, Mangetsu who was more calmer than his brother simply kept his head down.

"Zabuza-sama actually agreed? I thought that he was a Demon! Why would he even agree to go with that woman?! And back to Kiri! For the love of...uggh! My heads so messed up I can't even think straight big brother!"

"Zabuza-sama must have his reasons, we can't disagree with that. He taught us the art of killing, we became very strong under him, and if this is the path that he's decided...then I can't say anything about it."

"But you're not for it, right? To be under Kiri again. We left to gain freedom and kill those who want to big brother! What if we end up being the lapdogs to Kiri! And under that Mei Terumi! I can't do it big brother-"

"Relax, Suigetsu."

Suigetsu scowled.

"What are we going to do?"

"Leave it to me, your big brother. I wont allow us to go back into being lapdogs, as you called it. We've tasted freedom of the world, Zabuza-sama wont continue on this line of path forever, and we can eventually go back to how it was before. All we have to do is make sure that Haku dies somehow, then he'll have no emotional attachments."

Killing Haku.

It seemed that Mangetsu was so focused on that.

Suigetsu could understand why his brother was feeling like that.

"We can't do it now though, can we? Too many enemies."

"Yes, you're right. Right now it would be impossible. But, we also have some secret weapons up our sleeve. I also have some ideas on how to take Haku down, we just have to be patient about it Suigetsu. We'll play along for now."

"Then when the time is right…?"

Suigetsu watched as Mangetsu showed an evil smile.

"Zabuza-sama will return to how he was, without that ice Queen filling his mind with...feelings. He doesn't need them, and he'll embrace us as his true apprentices, ones that never abandoned him Suigetsu. Together, we'll be the Three Demons. Doesn't that sound amazing?"

Suigetsu showed his own evil smile.

He agreed with his brothers thoughts, and couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next.

Mangetsu on the other hand knew that they'd have to do it.

For the sake of their Master, they just had to wait for the perfect opportunity to do so.

A day later, Ryouta went out to train by himself, to keep his skills sharp. Since there wasn't any immediate threat now, he thought some training would be nice, but he didn't expect that Mei would follow after him.

"Mei-san, I'm shocked you're here..."

"A chance to spend time with my future husband? I wouldn't pass that up."

Ryouta gave a bemused look, before he recalled something.

He pulled out a scroll, and then released a weapon.

The sewing needle like sword.

"This belongs to Kiri, doesn't it? It...It was retrieved from Kushimaru. I thought that I should give it back to you now that you're here."

Mei appreciated that he was willing to hand over such a weapon without seconds thought.

While it wasn't the strongest, it was a unique blade that could be quite useful.

So the fact that he was handing it over to her, brought a smile to her face, at his kindness and honesty, since he could have lied and said it had been destroyed, but he was willing to give it away towards her, showcasing such a goodness Mei really liked.

"You were the one who took down Kushimaru, weren't you?"

Ryouta gave a single nod.

"Yes, I did my best and didn't have any choice."

Mei understood.

"You don't have to explain it to me, Kushimaru was rotten to his core. And this blade has been stained in the blood of many innocents. Speaking of, with Zabuza. It is risky, for me to take this chance with him."

"I know, and I can only thank you for doing so."

Ryouta said with a bow of his head.

Mei pulled closer, allowing her hand to rest on his face.

"Please don't bow to me. I believe in you, because of what happened back in the past. When I first saw you, I thought there was something unique about you, and now that I've seen what you've done here, it proves my point. Zabuza, the man that was cold and callous, the man that would show no mercy, seems to have a heart deep down. I didn't think I'd ever see that. You have an interesting way of going about things."

"Thank you Mei-san, you're as kind as I remember. Thanks for coming, I know it is a big risk, but I truly do appreciate it."

Ryouta gave a soft smile, while allowing his hands to go behind his back, with the blade following on.

Mei watched that, and she couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"That blade, it hasn't been in Kiri for a long time now."

"Yes, but now it can go back."

Mei watched as Ryouta presented the blade to her, which she took and held it within her fingers.

"Still, I guess I'll have to find a suitable wielder for such a blade. I can't think of anyone currently."

"No one at all?"

"There are some candidates, but I don't think there's anyone that really can fulfil the role. Maybe one day...but, this wont be forgotten, Ryou-kun. Giving this blade back to Kiri, it will come in handy."

Ryouta gave a gentle smile.

"I'm glad that I could help out, even a little bit like this Mei-san."

"You've helped out more than you can imagine, Ryou-kun." Mei showed a kind smile before showing a grin. "By the way, I wasn't kidding about the marriage~"

Ryouta did a spit take.

Mei bent down and lightly kissed his cheek, causing him to begin blushing.

"One day, we'll be together~ Don't you think it would be good, if we were?"

"W-Well..."

When Ryouta tried to speak, Mei cut him off as she brought his head into her boobs once more.

His face burst into a red hot mess with how Mei was hugging him.

"You know, I wish I could've seen you when the situation with Shisui-kun went down, it must've been so hard to deal with that."

"Yes...it is."

Hearing the way he said it, showed Mei that even now it was difficult for Ryouta.

Yet, he was carrying on, and thinking of others, a quality that she really did like.

"But, your strength of heart, the face you have on today, is that of a true man. You carried on after such an event. Your emotions have been torn, even now I can see it in your eyes, the pain you feel of losing him. But, I think that as a man, and as a Ninja, you excel in both. So, imagine my happiness for when your manly qualities grow even more as you age~ Something that I can't wait for~"

"Heh...thank you Mei-san...I think..."

Mei giggled, petting the back of his head.

"Anyway, you came here to train, right?"

Ryouta inclined his neck.

"Yeah, since we've got sometime to kill, I thought training here would be a good idea. To keep the skills sharp and all."

Mei could understand that, and in fact, she thought of a good way to help out.

"I remember once you writing to tell me that you've begun using Water Release, is that right?"

"Yes, that's right."

"Hehe, I see. Then, do you want to learn a Water Release or two from me? With your Sharingan, it would be rather easy for you, correct?"

Ryouta's face turned upwards, nodding strongly several times.

"Of course! I'd love to Mei-san!"

"You love me, aah, that's sweet~"

Ryouta didn't recall saying that.

But he went with the flow of things, and simply smiled.

Then Mei began teaching him some Water Release, some were ones he had seen from Zabuza, some weren't and looked to be pretty strong, so he took this chance to see if they'd be good additions to the Jutsu that he'd have and if he could adapt them to fit into any fighting styles, though he knew even small Jutsu's had their uses, and the stronger ones, he was happy to learn them from such a Master like Mei was.

The night before they were going to leave, Ryouta casually came back to the house after spending sometime with Mei, something he had been doing for a good number of days, as the time was getting late.

But to his surprise, he saw that Inari was sitting on the windowsill, so he went towards him.

As he did, he noticed that Tsunami was close by, and was going towards him. But when seeing Ryouta, she stopped and watched to see what Ryouta would do.

Ryouta saw that Inari looked rather sad, so Ryouta gave a gentle smile, as he sat close by.

"What's wrong, Inari-kun?"

"I-It's nothing..."

Ryouta chuckled, seeing that wasn't the case.

"Are you sad we're going tomorrow?"

Inari wiped under his eye, and looked towards Ryouta.

"I...I know you...have to go...but, I...really liked...having you around...all of you..."

Tsunami understood the sadness of her son.

Even she did feel it deep down.

Ryouta lightly smiled, before quickly going down towards a large piece of stone.

He blew out fire from his mouth, coating a kunai in it, and cut through the rock.

He carved the symbol the Land of Waves was associated with, having learned about it during his trip, before he came back towards Inari. He then took out some string, and made sure it was strong enough to carry the rock, which wasn't heavy in the first place.

"Here, you have this. You'll be one of the Land of Waves protectors, Inari-kun."

"W-Wow...f-for me, really?"

"Of course. I know it was difficult for a little while for you, but you showed a true bravery for what you did, how you stood up for your Mother, and then rallied the town together, your Stepfather would be so proud of you, Inari-kun. Like your Mother is, your Grandfather, and I am as well as the rest of us Ninja are too."

Inari began to cry, as he took the makeshift necklace Ryouta made, placing it around his neck.

Inari looked down, before his eyes went towards Ryouta.

Then he burst into tears and hugged Ryouta, who was rather surprised.

"I'm going to miss you big brother Ryou!"

"B-Big brother..."

Ryouta could only watch for a few moments as Inari hugged him.

It was...weird to be called big brother.

He always had been the little brother, but now someone was looking up to him.

He embraced the young boy back, who sobbed into his shirt.

"Now, now. Even if we're far apart, we can always see one another again. If you need me, you can summon me, and I'll do my best to come back. Though with you here, the thugs aren't gonna want to mess with you, huh~?"

Inari hiccupped, looking up towards Ryouta's eyes who peered back down.

The pair smiled at one another, before Inari dried under his eyes.

"Leave it to me big brother, I'll become so brave and strong!"

"Right, I'm sure you'll grow to be really strong, and brave Inari-kun."

Inari giggled like a child, before Tsunami came walking by.

"Inari, it's time to go to bed."

"O-Okay Mom! Goodnight!"

"Goodnight."

Inari skipped off, leaving Tsunami behind with Ryouta.

The young woman pulled closer, sitting down close by.

"Thank you, Ryouta-kun. You truly are a very unique boy."

"Hehe, thanks Tsunami-san~ I'm glad that Inari-kun's growing into a stronger and more confident boy."

"It's thanks to what you and Naruko-chan did. He's growing up...he truly is." Tsunami leaned in close, and placed her hand on Ryouta's shoulder, before giving a soft smile. "One day, you're going to grow up to be a truly fine man, I can tell."

"I-Is that so?"

Tsunami nodded.

"Yes, that's right. From what I've seen, you've got the makings to be a very fine man...no, you already are."

Ryouta gave a humble smile, and sat relatively quietly with Tsunami for a small time.

Two weeks came and went, during that time Ryouta caught up with Mei and learned some stuff with her guidance, Karin had begun training under Anko and was doing it in private, it seemed she wanted to surprise both Haku and Ryouta so they didn't say anything.

Haku also had some lessons with Zabuza again, under the watchful eye of Kakashi of course.

Satsuki and Naruko also trained, even Sakura got involved and increased her skills a good bit.

When the day for them to depart was there, Teams Six and Seven were stood on the now completed bridge.

Tazuna looked over his creation with pride, and so did the townspeople that had gathered to show them off.

Zabuza along with Mangetsu and Suigetsu stood together with Mei and her guards.

The brothers didn't look happy, but Zabuza strangely did.

Not as noticeable as others happiness…

But for Zabuza, he was showcasing some happiness.

He also was speaking to Haku, having some final words with her.

Ryouta also noticed that Zabuza wasn't wearing bandages around his face, showcasing everything of his expressions.

"...And also, if that boy ever hurts you, tell me and I'll kill him for you."

Ryouta sweat dropped as Zabuza looked serious.

Haku raised a finger to her mouth, and showed a genuine smile.

"Zabuza-sama...you don't have to worry. Ryou-kun...he is special to me, someone that has not only saved me, and gave me assistance in finding my own way in life...but, he saved you, and you...were someone I always admired...someone that I would have died for...and now, I want to continue doing my best, to..."

"It's alright, Haku. You don't have to say anymore. I hate sappy crap anyway." Haku thought that Zabuza would say that, which brought a smile to her face. "You're growing, Haku. I never imagined you'd grow this much, not just in strength...but, also as a strong person. Don't lose your kindness, ever. It is what makes you special."

Haku's cheeks turned slightly red.

This was one of the best joys she thought she'd ever receive.

She almost was moved to tears.

"Thank you Zabuza-sama..." Haku began to tear up, but she was smiling at the same time. "This time...I get to say goodbye to you..."

"This isn't a goodbye Haku."

"Zabuza-sama?"

Zabuza showed a hint of a smile.

"This is...see you later."

Haku burst into tears, happy tears streamed down her face.

Hearing Zabuza say that to her...acknowledging her, and caring for her, even if it was in his own way that didn't show it directly, she saw what Ryouta and Shisui had done previously. Zabuza, he truly did care for her, and wanted what was best for her.

"Thank you...Zabuza-sama. Please be careful."

"Don't worry about me, I've got my ways and means. Besides...you've got other things to worry about now, not just me. You aren't my tool Haku...you've found your own way of living."

Haku's eyes cast back towards Ryouta, who waved towards her.

Seeing that, Haku understood completely what Zabuza was talking about.

"Yes, I have. I've found...many things, Zabuza-sama."

"Good. I'll handle this with the help of Mei...Never thought I'd actually say that."

Haku continued to smile, while Ryouta watched on, happy for Haku to have this.

Ryouta then looked towards Inari and Naruko. The pair didn't say a word for a good while, they simply stared at the other, until tears began to overflow frm both eyes.

"Don't cry Inari! We'll see one another again!"

"I wont cry! You don't either!"

Naruko and Inari turned their heads away from one another, while Kakashi spoke to Tazuna quietly.

Anko looked over the bridge.

She looked back on the battle that she had with Ameyuri, and the other fights.

"Though Ameyuri is still out there..."

"Yeah, it seems that she is huh..."

Ryouta mused, but Anko showed a grin.

"Next time we meet, it is going to be a different story!"

"Why do you think you're going to meet again Sensei?"

Ryouta asked, Anko revealed a small grin on her face.

"I have a feeling deep down that we're going to see one another again, I'm not exactly sure why that is just yet though. But, if she does show up, remember this time and I'll show her the meaning of Konoha's might~"

Ryouta sweat dropped.

But he also thought about Ameyuri, and what she truly was after.

He wasn't entirely sure, but he did feel as if there was more than meets the eye.

As they went to leave, Haku went towards Ryouta, and stood before him.

"Ryou-kun, there is one thing that I've been thinking about lately."

Ryouta looked towards her.

"What is it Haku-chan?"

Haku's face flushed, as she allowed her hands to wring together, showcasing her nerves coming over her.

"Well...because of you Ryou-kun, I've been reunited with Zabuza-sama...he gets to live, and one day we'll see one another again. And beyond that...because of you, I was able to walk my own path...live the way that I want to. I didn't become a tool anymore...I became much more than that. Your support over the years has been the most important thing to me. That's why, even if you and Satsuki-san are...together, I can't give up either."

"Haku-chan, that's…"

Before he could speak, Haku shyly brought her lips and his own together.

Satsuki's eyes flared, Sakura gave a large gasp, Karin looked ready to attack, Naruko's mouth hung open, Anko gained a large smirk, Kakashi looked baffled, Tazuna gave a surprised face, Tsunami blinked rapidly, Inari looked perplexed since he was a young boy, Mei's eyes were rolling in the back of her head, Ao looked terrified as he kept seeing Ryouta and Shisui being so similar, Zabuza smirked at the sight but for different reasons than Anko's own, Mangetsu and Suigetsu didn't care, though it did give Mangetsu some ideas on how to hurt Haku even more.

Ryouta froze at the kiss, he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do.

But the feeling of her lips were different to Satsuki's. More cold like ice, but it didn't sting. If anything, it felt like a cool winters breeze that caused a sensation of pleasure to run through him from the simple kiss alone.

Their kiss lasted for over thirty seconds, precious seconds to Haku for her to feel the textures of his lips, the softness, the gentle yet kind feelings that were passing between the two of them. Haku enjoyed every second, and didn't regret it even a little bit.

When the kiss ended, Haku pulled away, blushing massively.

"H-Haku-chan..."

Ryouta was lost for words.

So Haku took his hand and peered into his eyes.

"You never know, what's going to happen in the future. So I wanted to show you right now, so I can live a life of no regrets. I'll always cherish you, Ryou-kun."

Ryouta blushed at her beautiful words, while Zabuza watched on.

"Oi kid! If you ever hurt Haku, I will cut you in half!"

Ryouta blinked as Mei slapped Zabuza upside the head.

"Do not threaten my future husband!"

Zabuza growled while Ao freaked out.

"Mei-sama! H-He doesn't have to be your future husband, does he!?"

"Of course he does, it has been decided."

"No...!"

Mei shook her head at Ao.

Ao didn't want it to happen.

He couldn't be reminded of Shisui daily…

It would be too much.

As that went on, Ryouta looked deeply into Haku's eyes. Seeing her love flowing towards him, seeing her excitement at a new prospect, and feeling his own emotions for Haku as well flowing through his body.

"Haku-chan...I'll cherish you also, always."

Haku gained such a happy face that even Ryouta was shocked.

Satsuki wanted to say something, she truly did.

But for the moment, she bit her tongue and watched as Haku simply hugged Ryouta around his neck.

"Hey Satsuki! Why is she allowed to do that huh?!"

Karin yelled at the female Uchiha, who simply furrowed her brows.

"Because unlike you, she has genuine feelings for him."

"I have genuine feelings!"

Karin snapped, Satsuki folded her arms, and she watched on.

Thoughts swirled her mind, as Karin kept talking to her, even Sakura did, but she chose to ignore it, and wondered if it would be alright. After hearing about Haku and her circumstances, and then thinking back on how Ryouta did help her, though she didn't want to lose Ryouta either, she wondered more about if it would be fine if they did share him…

It caught her by surprise that her mind even went down that path.

But, if it making sure Ryouta and others were happy as well as herself, then she knew she'd have to think deep about it.

Soon afterwards, they began taking off, after saying their goodbyes to Tazuna and his family, along with Mei and Zabuza, along with their group, parting ways on good terms, even Kakashi was shocked that it managed to work out in the end.

Despite what Naruko and Inari said, they both burst into tears, causing Sakura to sigh.

"So you both say not to cry, only for you both to cry..."

"It just shows they've become really good friends, don't you think so Sakura-chan?"

Ryouta spoke up, Sakura nodded strongly.

"Yeah, I guess that you're right~"

They continued on, walking the length of the bridge.

As they walked, Karin looked at the bridge and thought of something.

"By the way, what's this bridge called? Did Tazuna-san ever say...?"

At Karin's question, Kakashi chortled.

"I believed he called it The Great Naruko Dragon Bridge. Apparently, the names are to signify two people that gave Inari and the Land of Waves hope again."

"The Great Naruko Dragon Bridge...hey that's my name! But what's the Dragon thing about?!"

Naruko yelled out, while Satsuki glanced towards Ryouta.

"I think I know."

"What is it then?"

Naruko asked, Satsuki placed a hand on her forehead.

"You're so clueless."

"Hey! Don't call me clueless! I don't know what the Dragon means!"

Haku giggled, looking towards Ryouta who smiled back.

"I also know the meaning behind it...Ryou-kun's name can mean Dragon, something Ryou-kun told me his Mother wished to call him. So they named it after Ryou-kun and Naruko-chan, the two people that gave them hope...I think it's really beautiful to do that. Ryou-kun...thank you, for everything. For Zabuza-sama...and for being there for me. No matter what...I'll always be here for you, because to me...you're someone I want to always be beside."

Haku's smile grew more and more as they disappeared from the bridge.

Their first mission wasn't what anyone expected, but it was a mission that would stay with them for a long time, a life changing mission for many, one that gave some their drives, some their hopes, and some their goals.

Meanwhile, in another part of the world, Itachi and Izumi sat quietly within a bedroom together. He laid on the bed reading a book, while Izuki sat on a chair beside him, and was mixing some kind of chemicals together, while waiting for their next mission from the Akatsuki.

Itachi didn't ask what they were, he knew Izumi was concentrating and he didn't want to disturb that concentration, since he knew how much it mattered to her.

But Izumi then paused, and turned to Itachi.

"Hey Itachi-kun."

Itachi looked over his book to see Izumi holding out a strange coloured liquid.

"What's that?"

"Drink it, it's going to give you stamina and make you feel better than ever!"

Itachi looked at the liquid, then towards Izumi questioningly.

"Are you sure?"

"Trust me, this is legit the real deal! I wouldn't give it you if I didn't think it would be good for you, now try it."

Itachi hummed "If you're sure." and took the drink down in one, while looking as if he was disgusted by the taste.

Izumi giggled "I didn't say it tasted good, but it's good for you, trust me." Itachi didn't reply to that, and merely went back to reading his book.

However, there was then a knock on the door.

Izumi and Itachi glanced at it, as they heard "It's Kisame, let me in and stop doing whatever you're doing to each other." Izumi glanced at Itachi who sat up on the bed, as she went to the door.

Opening it, she revealed Kisame who was giving her a dangerous smirk.

"Best friend." Calling Izumi that who smiled back at him, Kisame's eyes went towards Itachi who stared back curiously. "Seems like you and my best friend here are good, Itachi?"

"Yes, what is this about?"

Itachi questioned, as Izumi stepped aside so Kisame could come inside.

"Say, do either of you know anyone named Ryouta Uchiha?" Izumi's face dropped, while Itachi's eyebrows furrowed. "I thought since you were apart of the same clan, you'd know him."

"We do, why?"

Izumi asked, worried for what could be happening with him.

Kisame chortled.

"So, it isn't just you two talented Uchiha that are out there huh."

"What do you mean?"

Itachi this time asked, so Kisame revealed with a smirk.

"I heard that Ryouta Uchiha, ended Kushimaru Kuriarare's life. Not sure of the circumstances about why they met, but Ameyuri Ringo, a former member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen has been spreading the word. Since they were partners, I'd have to say she's telling the truth. It's spreading like wildfire, I wouldn't be shocked if the other Ninja villages have heard the news, or will hear it soon. So, you know this Ryouta kid huh?"

"Y-Yeah...we knew him before we left the village."

Izumi murmured out, surprised but happy to hear that Ryouta managed to take out someone from the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.

But, she wasn't thrilled about hearing that Ameyuri was spreading that around, she didn't want anyone to come after Ryouta for this, either for the thrill of a challenge, or someone to try and get revenge for Kushimaru, if someone out there did care for him that much Izumi didn't know.

"Taking out Kushimaru, look out Itachi, maybe I'll have him as my partner, so you two can be left alone."

"If he was so inclined to join Akatsuki."

Itachi remained aloof, while Kisame stretched his arms.

"Well, since he took out Kushimaru, I wouldn't mind having a fight with this kid, if he impressed Ameyuri enough to spread this around, then he must be a strong kid. Haha and he's an Uchiha, they're like talented anyway, so I've got to have a fight with him. Say, want to go to your village sometime so we can meet up?"

Itachi didn't reveal any emotions on his face as he simply breathed out slowly.

"Perhaps, though that would be a detour we can't afford to make right now."

"Aah, well it will be good to see this kid up close and personal. Speaking of personal..." Kisame pulled out what seemed to be a purple liquid in a test tube and handed it to Izumi. "You're up best friend, we need an antidote to this poison, we've got a mission from higher ups to take out these nasty bastards that can poison people easily, gotta be prepared in case."

"Of course, leave it to me."

Izumi took the test tube and got to work right away, while Kisame chortled.

"Right, then I'll wrap things up here, be back soon."

"See you soon Kisame-kun~"

Izumi smiled out, something Kisame found refreshing.

"Yeah, see you later."

Kisame walked out the door, and slammed it shut.

Once confirming he was far enough away, Izumi breathed out slowly as she met gazes with Itachi.

Both did have some happiness that Ryouta could handle himself that well.

But...they also did worry that Ameyuri's actions could cause more problems for him, if someone like Kisame has become interested in fighting him...

Danzo, sitting within a room that was tightened with security due to the crimes he had committed years before, held a tea cup before him. Slowly sipping it, he saw movements of some Anbu outside whenever he himself would make a movement.

Even a single movement caused them to be ready to strike.

His lone eye cast outside, and he began to walk towards a window, when Mikoto, dressed up in her Anbu outfit, appeared before him.

"May I ask where you're going?"

Despite being a kind question, it was filled with uneasiness that she had for Danzo.

She wouldn't give Danzo any chance to do anything if it could lead to Danzo doing dangerous things.

"I wish for some fresh air."

Danzo retorted.

"I see, allow me to get that for you."

Mikoto didn't have a problem with that, and she was the one to open the window.

"Thank you, may I also request for some more tea?"

"I'll see what I can do."

She then disappeared from view, but kept eyes on him.

Danzo felt the breeze come in through the window, along with a small bug.

The bug fluttered its wings, and Danzo simply stared at it, his face being unreadable, his mind, going through many thoughts...
