Yeah, Pakura's not really up for this. Satsuki did yeah, Anko tried a surprise and got a surprise herself. Anko and Ryouta bonded a good bit last chapter, and some this time. We'll see how the fight between Neji and Ryouta goes. Yeah, that's how it went down when Ryouta first began liking snakes. Mikoto's had to deal with some stuff from Jiraiya in the past yeah. Ino surely did yeah. Haku did get quite a good Sensei. We'll have to wait and see what happens with that. Anko did yeah, she explained a good deal of her past, and even got surprised once more as Ryouta vowed to help her out. Onoki could do yeah. Maybe Ryouta will summon Aoda in the future.
Q; He'll have other snakes at his side, and she doesn't have an official snake, maybe she might do one day.
Skull Flame; Pakura's going to be going on an emotional journey for the next part of the exams. He is yeah, that's how Garaga wishes for it.

Guest 1; Yeah, he's had a rough time lately, but he's gonna have some fun times as well. Gaara's got her reasons for doing it, and Ryouta is also quite curious as to what she's doing and why she's doing it. Yeah, Pakura's going through quite a lot, duty vs her heart, and right now it's difficult to decide what would be the best thing to do, how she's going to do something that she clearly doesn't wish to do. Anko and Ryouta had a few moments last time and will have some here. Neji is taking him seriously yeah, we'll see how that pans out soon enough. Hehe, yeah it seems that Ryouta's always had some affinity with them, Shisui not so much~ Asuma's definitely going to have a hard time on his hands trying to make Shikamaru do much right now. Ryouta's gonna try his hardest against Garaga for the votes.

Pakura's got her own reasons for doing what she's doing, we'll learn more as the story goes on. Anko's just teasing people as that's how Anko is. Yeah, he'd never go to Orochimaru willingly. We'll see if Kakashi becomes the Sixth or not. Fu, outside of the Narutoverse hadn't been thought of by the Chunin Exams came around, in universe it's probably because they didn't want to risk it, as shown in the filler with Fu having to push the issue of her going. Because Garaga's one of the top snakes, one of the strongest. Anko probably wont. Right now Ryouta's going through a lot of things.

That's just how the Sharingan is in canon so that's how it is here, and how they've shown how to change a weapons trajectory with a few different characters in the main series. Karin was doing her best, she almost won her fight and that's what it was supposed to be to show the direness of the situation and how people underestimated Karin yet she was able to pressure someone by all accounts had an advantage over her, but in the end came a little short of winning, showing she has some areas where she can grow, the same with Satsuki as she fell for Karin's traps, they both learned from that fight.
With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Ryouta vs Garaga!
Ryouta, standing face to face with the large snake before him, readied himself for battle. Garaga responded with a large grin on his face.
Within the Forest of Death, they didn't have to worry about others getting caught up in such a battle.
The only one that could be would be Anko herself, but she was skilled enough to dodge any potential damaging attacks.
Ryouta's Sharingan eyes shined brightly. Even in the darkness of the area that was the deep forest, Garaga could see the red glow of the Sharingan and he thought that it was a rather bloody red colour that could be described as either beautiful or terrifying.
"So, I'm ready when you are kid. Show me your strength, and your power. I want to see if you're truly going to be a good person to have as a summoner. Someone that would be able to fight together with me against Orochimaru and everything else that comes after us!"
Garaga's words caused Ryouta to only wish to fight against him even more.
Orochimaru, now he understood even more about what he did to Anko and what he potentially could be doing in the future, Ryouta knew that he'd need all of the power, and that Garaga was a power that he'd be able to use by his side.
"That's right, I'll show you everything that I have."
"That's good, so show me boy."
Garaga showed a wicked smile on his face, and then with a single movement, his tail came up and slammed towards Ryouta's form.
Ryouta exhaled slowly, before flying through some hand signs.
"Water Release, Water Wall Jutsu!"
From the air around him, water particles appeared in small forms at first. But soon became larger and larger forms until it all clung together and formed a giant wall of water, which clashed together with the giant water wall, Anko felt the shockwave where she was stood, and saw the leaves around the trees they were colliding their attacks on be blown off.
Fluttering in the air, the leaves swirled around the air as Garaga pushed his effort into the water wall, but Ryouta was able to hold him off, as he weaved through some hand signs, and breathed flames to the water.
Not enough to evaporate the water, but to make it hot.
Extremely hot.
To the point that it was scalding.
"My tail!"
Garaga pulled back as he felt it even through his scales the heat of the scalding water.
Anko looked on and smirked.
"That's an interesting way to use two nature transformations. It isn't a Kekkei Genkai type of blend where it is perfect, but blending together two different natures like that in a way that it could be dangerous to the opponents, it's a good offence and defence at the same time. It's still technically a Water Release Jutsu, but the waters gotten really hot to the point it is scalding. This kid is pretty smart with how he uses his Jutsu's."
Anko grinned as she watched Garaga moved his tail back, not wanting to have the boiling water erupt onto his scales anymore.
But then Ryouta weaved through some hand signs, and controlled the water that formed into a large snake like Dragon.
"Water Release, Water Dragon Jutsu!"
Causing the boiling water to form a full Dragon, the snake like Dragon shot for Garaga, who responded by smashing down a tree, and tossing it in the way, but the boiling Dragon blasted right through it with a combination of pressure and the heat of the water.
Chasing down Garaga, the large snake knew that he wouldn't be able to avoid it forever, so he took the offensive, and wrapped several trees up with his tail, launching them at the water again and again in hopes that it would stop its progression.
Indeed, after the fourth tree, the water Dragon lost its shape, and fell down to the earth as boiling rain. Hitting the dirt, causing it to be melted drop by drop, with Garaga's large eyes going towards Ryouta.
"Geez, combining two natures together like that! It takes skill, and it is smart! Exactly like Master!"
"Like Master? Who is that?"
Garaga's eyes sharpened upon the young male Uchiha.
"It's not a concern you have to have. Master was the best after all, best snake user, respectful, kind, and wonderful...then there's Orochimaru! That damn bastard always uses us for his own disgusting little tricks and ends up making us suffer and die as a result! Like that water, now my blood is boiling!"
Anko didn't know if she should be amused, or terrified that Garaga was getting intense all of a sudden.
Though in Ryouta's eyes, it made sense that Orochimaru would cause this much anger.
Garaga simply wished to have someone that was respectful to snakes, someone that would work together with snakes, and someone that would be ready to fight along the snake and not quit no matter what the adversity and wouldn't sacrifice the snakes.
As that was going on, Satsuki was preparing her own first day of training with Kakashi, when Naruko began running up towards them. Yelling "Kakashi-sensei! Teach me something cool, okay?!" with Kakashi showcasing an earnest look on his face.
"Naruko, didn't you get my message?"
Naruko paused as Satsuki tightened her hand ever so slightly.
"Eh? Message for what?"
"That I already have gotten you a Sensei to teach you some stuff."
"Who?"
"Ebisu-sensei."
Naruko frowned.
"Him?!"
"Yes, just while I teach Satsuki and then Ryouta something. I also will teach you, but this might take sometime and Ebisu-sensei agreed to give you some pointers and tips from me to you."
"But that guy wasn't able to stand up to my Sexy Jutsu!"
Kakashi furrowed his lone brow at the young blonde haired girl, while Satsuki looked between them.
She didn't even want to know what Naruko had been doing while she wasn't aware.
"You used your Sexy Ryouta Jutsu on him?"
"Not that one! That works more for girls than guys! I used just Sexy Jutsu with a girl, that's all!"
Kakashi released a small breath.
"Well, regardless, it seems that he still will be able to teach you something's. Or perhaps you have another idea Naruko? Until I'm confident Satsuki has this down..."
"Why can't you teach me it?"
"Because you don't have the Sharingan, you need the Sharingan to use this Jutsu."
Naruko rubbed the sides of her head in a frustrated manner.
"You can't be serious!"
"That's how it is. I promise I'll come to teach you things before the month is out. Until then, here's some helpful lessons that you could study."
Kakashi produced a scroll that he tossed to Naruko.
She caught it, and looked between them.
"Well, I'll study these, and then I'll be back!"
Kakashi chuckled lightly.
"I see, then good luck."
Naruko turned and began running off.
Kakashi watched and apologized to her mentally, as he knew he had to teach this Jutsu to Satsuki for a few reasons. One in case Orochimaru ever showed up again and she would have a Jutsu that could give her a good chance to fight with.
"So, is this Jutsu your Lightning Cutter?"
Satsuki asked, Kakashi waved his hand.
"That's a more advanced form of it. What I'm going to show you is the Chidori."
Satsuki was intrigued to know what this Chidori entailed, and quietly listened as Kakashi began explaining to her...
Back with Ryouta and Garaga, the pair were readying to continue their battle once more, with the giant snake opening his mouth.
"You know kid, I am shocked that you'd want to challenge someone like me to a battle. Even if it is about earning respect, did you think that there could be other ways for me to gain respect for a human like you?"
"Would you have given it any other way?"
Garaga sweat dropped.
"No, I wouldn't have."
"Then I'm only doing what you thought would be the best, right? Besides, you are large, and fighting a large enemy might be something I have to do one day. So, getting in practice right now like this, is going to prepare me for that as well. And I get to know more about you Garaga-san."
Garaga paused…
No one ever said that.
No, that wasn't entirely true.
Only a few people had said that to him before, one was someone he cared for very much.
"This isn't a place to do that! Now have this!"
Wasting no time, his venom came raining down towards Ryouta from his mouth like a waterfall.
The young man also didn't waste time, flying through some hand signs, before aiming his mouth upwards.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Allowing his flames to burst forward, the giant flaming sphere went up to the stone venom. As the venom hit the flames, it began to be turned to stone, something Ryouta was happy to see, but pushed more into his flames, managing to cause the flames to break through the stoned parts, and continue up to the giant snake.
A large grin came to Garaga, and he whipped his tail around, crashing through the flames, burning even some of Garaga's scales, but his physical strength broke through the flames, and continued his tail going down towards Ryouta.
The young boy leapt back as the tail smashed into the ground, uprooting the trees that went flying everywhere.
"Damn it Garaga, don't destroy the forest so much."
Anko complained as she summoned snakes from her sleeve, and caught the pieces of the trees to come towards her, and gently set them down so they didn't damage her body.
"I'll do as I wish human!"
Garaga snapped at the young woman who cringed as a result.
"Well, it is your choice I guess, but still maybe it would be good if you didn't destroy the entire forest. We do need it for the future."
Garaga's eyes fell upon Anko and looked on with a strong gaze, with Anko doing the same thing.
"Hmph, this is my test, I'll do as I like."
Anko shook her head, biting her lower lip and simply watched as trees flew around everywhere.
"I have to admit, that Garaga seems to be more...not angry, but fired up than I thought he'd be. Maybe he's been waiting to have a good fight. Or maybe he's seen something within Ryouta that he really likes. Whatever it is...damn, my forest is going to be destroyed."
Anko sweat dropped at the end, not wishing for her forest to be in such disarray so soon after the Chunin Exams had just used it.
Ryouta watched as some trees came for him, it seemed that Garaga was able to move his tail in the way that the trees would be fired off towards him, moving through the air as they were like cannon shells.
Coming in for him at high speeds, Ryouta activated the Body Flicker, and jumped up.
Running across one tree, he hopped off of it, and jumped to another one, slicing off some of the bark, he caused them to be set alight, and then propelled right back towards Garaga, who laughed, and opened his mouth.
Biting down on the bark, he spit them back at Ryouta, the flames having been extinguished by Garaga's mouth, with one of the bark pieces going by his face, Ryouta avoiding it with a few inches between them.
"Haha, this is pretty good boy! I'm enjoying myself greatly!"
Garaga showed a strong grin on his face.
"Haaah!"
Swinging his sword rapidly while slicing through the bark before him, Ryouta cut down all of the projectiles as he saw another tree coming for him.
Ryouta leapt forward, and spun around like a propeller, slicing through a tree, cleaving it in half.
Continuing on, Ryouta landed on a thick tree branch, were Anko watched on interested in what was going to happen next as Garaga spat out some venom towards him.
"Can you escape that? You'll be turned to stone otherwise!"
Shooting it out in a fast manner, along with the wind that had been swept up thanks to the tail slamming down, the venom covered a wide area, enough for Ryouta to see that he was being fully covered from all sides, and he'd not be able to dodge out of the way of them all.
"Water Release, Water Wall Jutsu!"
Though the name had wall, it formed a mass of water all around him to protect him from all sides. Even covering the top of him akin to a dome, the venom fell onto the water, and caused it to turn into thick stone.
"So even with no visible water source, it seems the thick water shield was formed at a fast pace. He is good at Water Release, reminds me of..."
Anko smirked as she saw the stone surrounding him thanks to the giant snakes venom being sliced apart, and then launched with a flick of his foot towards Garaga, fighting through the winds that were still sweeping through the area as the giant snake swung his tail again and again to generate high winds to try and divert the attack, and to also cause problems for Ryouta.
One of the stone pieces got through and hit the right hand side of Garaga's face and hit him hard enough to scratch his scale as he saw chakra had been added to it, impressing Garaga that Ryouta did that within a second or two.
But the rest of the stone pieces were swept away from him. Though the attack didn't reflect back at Ryouta as he wished for them to do, and simply landed on the ground.
Garaga saw Ryouta land on the ground also.
Garaga showed his fangs.
"Haha! This is what I like to see! Not holding back at all! I want to see the true power that you have inside of you! I only want a Master that I can say is very strong! You might be a Genin, but I don't expect any less of you than I would a Jonin! And right now, you're showing me it! Like when you fought Orochimaru, the passion behind your blade is magnificent!"
Ryouta could hear the passion within Garaga's voice.
He prided himself on strength and resolve.
If his Master lacked either, then he wasn't going to be satisfied.
"Garaga-san, may I ask something?"
Garaga was intrigued, so nodded.
"What is it?"
"This Master you used to have, who was it?"
Ryouta had to admit that he was highly curious as to what was going on with that.
Garaga let out a small laugh.
"My former Master, she was amazing. If you manage to do enough to cause me to follow your lead, then I'll tell you some stuff. Until then, you'll have to speculate. But don't be mistaken, she might not have been a Kage in the official sense, she is someone that easily could have been a Kage if she had so desired."
Ryouta wondered even more about who this person was.
Someone strong enough that even Garaga, who didn't give compliments away so easily, would acknowledge this woman as someone that was worthwhile enough to become a Kage.
"Amazing, so that's what this person was then...this woman was able to become a Kage..."
"Damn straight, she was able to become one if she so desired. She was smart, graceful, and kind to all snakes. More so than that bastard Orochimaru, and she never lorded her power over others, and did what she needed to do."
Ryouta was quite enamoured.
He wished to know even more about this woman now.
But Garaga stopped sharing as he moved his head towards Ryouta's own.
Stopping short of his body, the large snake began laughing.
"Come on then, lets do this."
Ryouta wondered how the fight was going to go next.
But he knew to truly earn the man's respect, Ryouta was going to have to show even more of his power, and wouldn't have the luxury of holding back.
Meanwhile, Pakura's eyes watched Haku as she explained about certain things to do with Wind Release. Haku, being capable of using it so well as she demonstrated to the suna Ninja was definitely impressed to say the least.
"Wind Release, Breakthrough!"
Using a strong gust of wind from her mouth, Pakura watched Haku pulverize stone with a simple release like that. Even she had to admit that she was impressed by what she was seeing and how well Haku was using the winds that she controlled.
"Where did you get such a hang of Wind Release?"
Pakura asked Haku, who tilted her head.
"I just trained in it, that's all. Because of my Ice Release, Wind Release comes naturally to me."
"It makes sense, it's the same for me and my Scorch Release."
"Speaking of, that's a very rare Kekkei Genkai, isn't it? I haven't heard of anyone else having it before."
Pakura hummed as a response.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that it is. Though I have also heard of your Ice Release, nowadays it seems, at least in Kiri, it is non existent. Though I've heard that there could be others from different parts, so I'm sure you might be able to find others."
Haku nodded slowly.
"I remember the purge well, of those with Kekkei Genkai's such as my own. I came here after Ryou-kun and his elder brother helped myself and someone I look up to out of a dangerous situation. Due to that...I call this my home now."
Pakura lightly smiled.
"That boy, Ryouta Uchiha. Would you say he's a good person?"
Haku was surprised that Pakura would even ask that.
But Haku answered from the bottom of her heart.
"Yes, without a doubt he very much is. He has helped many people before, and even when...the world was hard for him to deal with, he still tried his best to help others. Ryou-kun is the person that I truly do wish to be with and protect always."
Hearing that, Pakura got quiet.
She didn't say anything for a good few moments, something that Haku noticed, and when she didn't get any replies, Haku decided to speak up.
"How come you wished to know? If you don't mind me asking of course."
Pakura shook her head.
"I don't mind at all. I was just thinking about something, that's all." Seeing that wasn't a satisfactory answer, Pakura lightly laughed. "I just remember hearing the words of Ameyuri Ringo, and wished to see what kind of boy he was for myself."
"Ameyuri-san...her words, she said that Ryou-kun killed a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen and that is right, however she also made out that he was a dangerous killer, when I would say dangerous to enemies yes, but he isn't someone that you could class as a killer either. He kills if it is necessary, but he doesn't get super enjoyment out of it."
Pakura's lips curled upwards ever so slightly, she liked what she was hearing.
But that also wasn't always the best thing for Pakura, especially with the mission that she has.
"I was just curious that's all. Still, I saw back in the exam how strong he is. And you as well, you have great potential. The kindness you have Haku-san, I saw it well during your match against Kankuro, showing respect and retaining your kindness even in the heat of battle. However, I also saw how you were willing to do what was necessary. I think in the current world we live in, that's how it is going to be."
Haku couldn't help but agree.
Pakura was speaking to her on many levels that she all could recognize and understand and even agree with.
Though she was from a different land, Pakura and Haku unexpectedly seem to get on rather well.
"Yes, you're right about that."
"Then lets continue the teaching okay?"
"Yes!"
Haku was excited.
Pakura nodded, and continued the teaching.
Though she didn't verbally say anything about it…
The small information she got about Ryouta, only made her feel more conflict inside of herself than she thought that she would do.
Back with Ryouta, he watched as the giant snake prepared himself once more.
Slithering across the ground, he moved rapidly, and closed the distance.
Garaga was through playing around and came head first for Ryouta.
Ryouta was as well, and quickly rocketed off high and shot for Garaga.
Aimed like a missile, his fist brandished with chakra, and came down onto Garaga's forehead as he lifted to try and take Ryouta's form into his mouth to swallow him, but Ryouta's Body Flicker enhanced jump was faster than predicted, so he had to concentrate on headbutting the young man instead.
Coming into contact with one another, the fist dug into the scales of Garaga which in turn seemed rather sharp. Cutting his hand, Ryouta managed to snap off a scale as his fist dug deeper and deeper into the large head of the giant snake, and drew some blood from him.
"You're making me bleed! Now this is what I wanted human! Like that!"
Garaga flicked Ryouta's body up into the air, and spat out a series of venom shots for him.
Ryouta knew that he'd not be able to dodge them all mid air, so he did the next best thing, and created an Exploding Clone, which he grabbed, and threw to the centre of the barrage of venom shots, where Ryouta spat out some fire that was attached to wire, which in turn was attached to the clone.
Running down it, Ryouta called out "Fire Release, Dragon Fire Jutsu!" which caused the flames to follow the path Ryouta had set out, and when hitting the clone, burst forth, creating a giant shockwave in the air thanks to blast of the clone, scattering the shots of venom all over the woodland, turning various parts of the area to stone.
Anko was amazed that Ryouta managed to do that.
The shockwave also caused Garaga to be blown back ever so slightly, giving Ryouta the chance to propel himself down like an arrow, taking out his sword, and pointed it towards Garaga.
The smirking snake moved his head, intercepting the attack, as Ryouta slashed forward.
Managing to cut into the scale of the snake, Garaga flicked his head left, sending Ryouta in that direction.
Flipping several times, Ryouta landed several meters away from the giant snake.
His eyes went towards Garaga, but saw that he had disappeared.
"Seems like he's gone huh."
Anko mused aloud.
Ryouta glanced at her, seeing that she was waving energetically.
Responding to that, Ryouta cocked his head, before shaking it and used his eyes to search for Garaga. Even a hint. He guessed based on his size that the snake had gone underground in the time Ryouta was landing on said ground.
Either that or he had turned invisible somehow.
Ryouta didn't believe that second one to be the case, but he thought about all possibilities.
But then he felt the ground being disturbed so he jumped up.
However, as he did, Garaga came bursting out of said ground, his mouth open, and going straight for the now airborne Ryouta.
"This is it kid! Nice try!"
Garaga's mouth came fully around Ryouta, intending to bite down and finish the fight.
Ryouta created a clone and tried to push off from it, when Garaga spat out some venom for the pair.
Ryouta knew he wouldn't be able to dodge fully out of the way in time, so he sacrificed the clone, causing it to turn to stone and allowed him to avoid it.
Anko grimaced, and went to intercept, when she saw Garaga's mouth close around the young boy.
Gasping, Anko went to move, when suddenly smoke came from the snakes mouth, followed by several explosions thanks to Ryouta's use of the Exploding Shadow Clone Jutsu.
"Aaaaaaah!"
Garaga let out a cry as suddenly he opened his mouth wide, and revealed Ryouta coming out, flames ejecting out of Garaga's mouth at the same time.
Flipping through the air, Ryouta landed before Garaga on a large tree branch.
Slightly panting, Garaga whipped his neck towards Ryouta who in turn held up his sword.
"Damn it kid, using fire in my mouth and burning me."
"You tried to swallow me."
Ryouta countered, as the giant snake laughed even more.
"You've got a point! Alright, then I'll crush you here and now! Time to finish this!"
The snakes body moved rapidly. It seemed that Garaga increased his speed even more than before. Wrapping around the area the boy was in, dragging in many trees.
Like he had tried before, this time it seemed that Garaga was going so fast that even Anko was surprised to see.
"Come on Ryouta, think of something."
Anko murmured to herself, watching on as she saw Garaga open his mouth.
But this time, rather than fire out his venom, he seemed to reveal pieces of sharp looking branches, and using them as projectiles, he fired them off for all around Ryouta's form as the trees his large body were dragging caused Ryouta to have no means of escape by normal means.
"It seems he's trying to trap me. But, there is one place I can go."
Using a Shadow Clone, Ryouta forced himself very high into the sky.
So high in fact that even Garaga was surprised to see the small human in the air.
Going so high, Ryouta's Sharingan could still see the areas he'd have to target.
"Fire Release, Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Ryouta's flames rained down akin to almost like a meteor from what he could see. Deadly, dangerous, the flaming sphere was more than Garaga expected, but he was pleased that the boy wasn't holding back anymore.
The flames hit the centre of where Garaga's body was wrapped around, and set all of trees on fire. Thanks to the wood, it burned fast, and hard, and the flames transmitted through the trees towards Garaga's form.
Because of the fast moving flames, Garaga uncoiled himself from the burning trees, only to see Ryouta coming down for him hard and fast, like a fast moving bullet. He had used a Shadow Clone to propel himself through the air.
Withdrawing his sword, Ryouta went to slice Garaga's body when he took his tail and whipped it up towards Ryouta's incoming form.
To the snakes astonishment, the boy moved his blade, and rather than simply blocking, he ran his chakra through it, and pierced the scales of Garaga, and flipped up so high, landing on the tails top, and rushed down while dragging his sword across the scales Garaga had, causing the snake to release some blood.
"Damn it!"
Garaga hissed, and rapidly thrashed his body upwards, Ryouta used his chakra to keep his feet firmly planted on the snakes body, but even then the intense winds washing through his hair was something of a hindrance.
But it didn't stop Ryouta from running hard and fast.
"Turn to stone!"
Seeing that it didn't work, Garaga ran his venom down his body. Leaving himself unaffected, the venom moved rapidly like a wave heading for Ryouta, who knew he didn't have a choice, so jumped off him, where Garaga moved his head, and tried to slam him hard into the ground.
Catching Garaga's movements with his eyes, he moved his sword in the way and clashed with Garaga's head, and while Garaga was physically stronger, the giant snake was impressed that Ryouta wouldn't budge with his blade, protecting himself, even after landing on the floor, and Garaga putting his weight to use to try and crush the young man with his head first.
"You're actually trying to hold me off like this, are you?! Sorry kid, but you don't have the strength to move me! And your hands are bound to the blade, you can't move them and do hand signs to activate a Jutsu either! It seems that this is my victory!"
Ryouta scowled as his eyes went towards the giant snakes.
But saw that his eyes had closed.
"Smart, he knew I'd try Genjutsu so he didn't give me the opportunity."
Ryouta definitely was impressed with Garaga right now.
But he did wonder what he was going to do.
As what he said was true.
If he let go of the blade to perform a hand sign, then he'd be crushed within a few seconds, if not a second or two.
He thought about using his Susanoo.
But knew he shouldn't waste that here and now.
"...I have to push my speed even more, enemies like Orochimaru, like Tobi...they'll not stop like this, I'll have to go even further. The Body Flicker...I'll become even faster. Faster than Garaga-san...Shi-chan, I'll become even faster than you like you wished...and I'll make Garaga-san my partner...I wont quit now."
Ryouta pushed his strength into his arms, and then sliced upwards, causing some scales of Garaga to be cut as he activated the Body Flicker.
Going faster and faster, pushing his body to a good limit, he blitzed out of the way, Anko's eyes even couldn't follow him for the few moments he used to dodge, he went so fast, and managed to dodge out of the crushing of the giant snake.
"The speed he went then...it was amazing. I couldn't follow him. Yeah...my Genin's awesome~"
As Anko thought about it and saw how the boy got out of the way of the giant snake, Ryouta turned back to see Garaga pulling his body out of the ground.
Knowing he wouldn't have long, Ryouta took out a few shuriken and focused on the wounds Ryouta had caused the snake, before launching them forward.
"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Releasing his chakra, the shurikens numbers increased more and more, and stabbed across the wounds of the snake, which caused Garaga to hiss out dangerously.
Anko smirked at the sight, understanding what Ryouta was doing by causing him damage like that.
But Garaga shrugged them off, and turned his eyes towards the boy.
However, before he could do anything, flying through hand signs, Ryouta inhaled deeply.
"Fire Release, Flame Whirlwind!"
Allowing the flames to spin around rapidly, as he spewed them out of his mouth, and at the same time, used the Shuriken Jutsu, with paper bombs attacked to them. Going all around Garaga so fast, even he was blind sided as many paper bombs surrounded him, which began igniting by the heat of the fire Ryouta had released.
The spinning action of the flames accompanied by the already blasting flames nearby, they mixed together, and slammed hard into Garaga's body.
"Aaaah!"
Garaga was smashed backwards, feeling the intense heat on his scales.
Even he was taken aback by this kind of attack.
But, he loved it.
Seeing Ryouta going stronger, harder, it was the best he could have hoped for.
"This is good kid! But I wont give up! Not yet!"
Garaga pushed more into his body, and began combatting the flames. Even Ryouta had to give it to Garaga to tackle such a flaming whirlwind head on. Ryouta didn't even hold back with his attack either, the flames were what he could muster up as strong as they could be.
Though he could see that the body Garaga had was beginning to sizzle and burn the longer he stayed in the flames.
Seeing that, Ryouta took a final explosive tag, and launched it into the flames via a kunai.
Using the Shuriken Jutsu, Ryouta caused two kunai's to go out. Manipulating them, firing them off into the air, one ricocheted off the other, and came flying down right where Garaga's face was for maximum damage.
Garaga saw it coming, and internally laughed as the flames and explosive tag met one another, erupting into a mass inferno in the forest.
"Shit..."
Anko anchored herself down with snakes tying her to a tree as she saw Garaga's body go flying backwards.
Smashing deep into the forest, Ryouta watched keenly as he began panting from using such chakra draining Jutsu's.
Garaga laid silent for a few moments, as the wounds he had came to his mind and registered with what had happened with him.
Once they did, Garaga pulled his body up, and his large eyes went towards Ryouta.
"You are resilient, aren't you boy?"
"Yes, because I want you as my summon snake Garaga-san."
Garaga showed a confident smile.
"Tell me why you want me to become your partner?"
"Because I want to have someone strong beside me. Someone that I can depend on. Deep inside of you, I can see that you definitely care for those around you. Otherwise, why would you have cared about Orochimaru using snakes for his own deeds? If you didn't care, why would you bother becoming angry at Orochimaru at all? What he does, shouldn't bother you."
Garaga had to admit that Ryouta's words had gotten him to stay silent.
He continued to stay silent as Ryouta continued.
"Besides that, I also sense passion from you. In your actions, in your words, and how you speak about your former Master. Whoever she was, I'm sure that you cared about her immensely."
"...I might have. But why would that mean anything to you?"
"Because it shows you're loyal to those you've pledged yourself to, I like that. I like the way you wish to do things, sure we didn't get off to the greatest of starts thanks to Orochimaru's meddling, but I think together, we'd be able to become really strong together. That we'd be able to stop many people, and protect those that need it. As a Ninja, as I grow, stronger enemies will appear, Orochimaru is only the start of it. So, will you stand beside me Garaga-san?"
Garaga growled as he thought about what he had been told.
Indeed, what Ryouta said made sense to his ears.
He also was quite aware of what future enemies Ryouta would have to face.
However, that didn't really matter in this moment.
Garaga wished to see if Ryouta had what it took to become his Master.
After staying silent for over a minute, piercing his gaze at Ryouta, Garaga began to laugh.
"Well, it seems that you are a spirited boy, huh?! Fighting me so hard, and even now wishing to continue. I guess I must have left a rather good impression on you!"
"Yes, you did Garaga-san. So, what do you say?"
Garaga showed a wicked smile on his face.
"Do we get to fight lots of strong opponents?"
"I'm sure that we will do yes."
Garaga laughed even louder than before.
Excitement came over his face, wonder and desire also came more and more through the large snakes body.
"Then I suppose I could lend my services once in a while."
Trying to be aloof, Garaga answered in a manner that most would believe that he was being condescending or not even caring.
However, Ryouta knew that Garaga was showcasing his care through his eyes by the way that the snake looked towards him.
"Thank you Garaga-san! Thank you very much!"
Garaga smirked.
But then saw Ryouta moved to the side of him.
"What are you doing?"
As he asked, Ryouta's hands lit up with green chakra, and sent it through the body of the giant snake.
"I'm healing your wounds."
Garaga was perplexed.
"Healing me, you have no obligation."
"Izumi-chan, a girl that I know from a long time ago, always said that if I could, then I should heal my comrades. That I should try my best to take their pain away. You're my partner now Garaga-san, and even if you weren't, I'd still try my best to heal your wounds."
Garaga felt surprisingly touched.
And as a consequence, became surprisingly, yet endearingly, shy, turning his head to the right.
"W-Well, I guess that's kind of you...d-don't expect a thank you..."
Ryouta chuckled lightly, and continued healing Garaga.
Anko noticed it, and giggled to herself.
"It seems that you're a big softie inside, aren't you Garaga?"
Garaga's rampaging eyes shot for Anko.
"Say that again and I'll spit venom on you!"
Anko grimaced.
She didn't want that to happen to her at all.
Garaga's large eyes then went towards Ryouta as he was beginning to finish healing some of the more damaging wounds.
"Then first order of business, lets kill Orochimaru! Hahaha! With our power, the snake bastard is going to fall!"
Ryouta gave bemused eyes.
Even Anko had to admit that she wished to see what Garaga and Ryouta were going to be capable of doing together now.
"Garaga-san, before that, may I ask you about your previous Master? What she was like maybe?"
Garaga paused.
He wasn't sure if he should say anything or not.
But ultimately, he laughed and laid down.
Ryouta sat by his face, as Anko joined him.
"The woman that was my previous Master, I saw more as a Mother than anything really."
"A Mother huh?"
"I was small when I met her, I was a troublemaker back then."
"Just back then huh?"
Anko mused, Garaga growled.
"I don't recall saying you could be here!"
Anko winced and moved to the side of Ryouta.
Garaga sighed, and continued.
"Anyway, when I met her, I didn't really care for humans. I didn't want to know anything about them. I saw countless people betraying others for their own gain, people using summoning's as sacrifices for their own lives. But she...she never did. Even the snakes she did summon all had their lives spared for her grace, her kindness. She wouldn't send in an animal that didn't know the risks of what was being asked."
Ryouta was enamoured.
The woman sounded rather wonderful to his ears.
"Before I knew of her kindness, I didn't care if she wanted a contract with me or anything, I did my best to avoid her. But, she was persistent, and everyday brought me different foods to try, she treated me as an equal. She never spoke down to me, she asked me for my opinions on subjects, and whenever she had a dilemma. She would ask me, and I found it amazing. More and more, I slowly was drawn to her, and don't get me wrong, I also gave her the test I just gave you. Don't care how kind a human is, if they aren't worthy of being my Master, then it's not gonna happen."
Ryouta stifled a laugh.
That sounded quite like Garaga.
"I see, but she passed it, right?"
"Yeah, she definitely did. While I was weaker back then, she was still amazingly strong, and was able to put me down pretty quickly. But afterwards, she made sure that I was fine, and then we went onto do major ass kicking together. Aah, if my Master was still around, Orochimaru would be six feet under."
"She would be strong enough to even defeat Orochimaru?"
The snake let out a small laugh.
"Though Orochimaru is a slimy bastard and always tries to get out of dying, even then, Master was stronger than him."
Ryouta smiled, and listened to more tales of Garaga's former Master, what she was like.
He wished he could have met her.
Anko stayed silent, not speaking for even a moment as she deeply was enthralled by what she was hearing.
Though Ryouta noticed Anko didn't seem to be surprised.
Mikoto was having a peaceful day after dealing with the likes of Jiraiya and hopefully made sure that he wouldn't be able to do any of his, as he called it, research.
Travelling around the village, Mikoto watched for anything that could be seen as out of the ordinary, she also had her missions from the Hokage, and she did them in conjunction to what was being asked of her.
Doing her usual duties, on top of seeing if she could find any trace of Orochimaru or anyone else that could be causing problems, the young woman's eyes caught a surprising sight.
She saw Naruko walking down the street with a sad expression on her face.
Not wanting to see the girl being sad, she flashed over towards her, landing on the right hand side of her.
"Naruko-chan, what's going on?"
Naruko jumped at the new presence.
When seeing who it was, she relaxed a little.
"M-Mikoto-san! I didn't know it would be you that was here!"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Naruko paused for a few moments, before laughing openly.
"Eeh, never mind! I was just...ugh, Mikoto-san, do you know anyone that can train me? I tried asking Kakashi-sensei but he said he was busy training Satsuki and is going to train Ryou too! So he doesn't have time to train me! The exams in a month, what if I don't do well?!"
Mikoto placed a finger to her chin.
"That does seem like a conundrum." Mikoto released a small breath. "So, you're looking for someone to train you then?"
Naruko nodded, tightening her hand and thrusted it to the air.
"I have too! Even though I made it to the finals, all of the people there are really tough! Ryou, Satsuki, even my opponent Haku is going to be there too! There's no way I'm going to be able to defeat her!"
Mikoto hummed as she pulled closer.
"What makes you say that?"
"B-Because she's smarter than me, and she's got a powerful blood ability!"
"A Kekkei Genkai you mean?"
"Yeah, one of those! There's no way that I could beat her! She's strong, smart, and skilled! All the things I'm not!"
Mikoto looked over the girl as Naruko seemed to be worrying.
"Naruko-chan, what you said about her, you could be the same. You are strong, you have skills, and being smart, there's different ways to being smart on a battlefield. Sometimes, your unpredictability is something that will be a strength for you. Like back when you transformed into two Ryou-kun's."
Naruko rubbed the back of her head.
"Y-You heard about that huh?"
"Ooh yes, I did. And what you did, being so unpredictable, was smart. You caught your opponent off guard, even if it was in a...unconventional way, you still managed to catch her off guard, and win the fight."
"Ehehe I wish that would work on Haku, it would work on Satsuki..."
Mikoto was amused Naruko was so sure that Satsuki would fall for such a tactic.
But then Mikoto remembered a certain someone that had arrived in the village, and how perfect it would be for Naruko to go towards him.
"Say Naruko-chan, you said you needed someone to teach you cool stuff, right?"
"Y-Yeah, that's right! Will you do it?!"
"Well, right now I have something's that I have to do for the village, so I don't have much time." Naruko's face became crestfallen, but soon was replaced with hope as Mikoto patted the top of her head. "However, I do know of someone that could help out."
"R-Really?! Are they strong?"
"He is indeed strong yes. He's a...lets say that he's a very skilled, but odd individual."
"He's odd...well that doesn't matter! If he's strong, then he'll teach me, wont he?!"
Mikoto giggled in response.
"Yes, that's right, I'm sure that he would do. You might have to convince him a little bit, but I'm sure you'll be able to get through to him. I'll take you to him tomorrow, okay? Since it is getting late now."
"Yes! Yahoo! Alright! Lets do it Mikoto-san! Thanks very much!"
Mikoto smiled, as she turned with Naruko following after her.
Even if only a little, Mikoto was glad to give assistance to the young girl.
After the days events, Ryouta and Anko went walking back towards the village. Her eyes went towards the young boys, seeing the state of his clothing, and her eyes went towards his face soon afterwards.
"Seems like you've gotten quite dirty from your fight today. But, you did it, managing to tame a beast like Garaga, it is fantastic, not many have done anything like that before. Not even Orochimaru was capable of doing that. Though to be fair most of the snakes hate the bastard, even Manda hates him which is rather funny."
Ryouta looked on curiously.
"Sensei, thank you for letting me sign the contract. With Garaga-san and the snakes beside me, I'll become even stronger."
Anko rubbed his cheek in a delicate manner.
"Aah, you don't have to thank me for such things."
"But it was thanks to you Sensei that I could sign the contract."
Anko waved her hand.
"Even if it was, I didn't earn Garaga's respect for you, you did that on your own."
Ryouta this time scratched his cheek.
"I just did what I could do Sensei, that's all."
"Yeah, but now that you have won over snakes, it seems that you'll be going to Kakashi's place, right?"
"He said that he'd help train with me yes."
Anko began nodding.
"Then before that, allow me to be a good Sensei and treat you~"
Saying it in a manner that sounded rather playful yet serious at the same time, Ryouta's eyes went towards her own.
"T-Treat me Sensei?"
But that was stopped when Anko sideways hugged Ryouta's body and held it against her own, his face being pushed near her chest as his cheeks began burning red.
"That's right my boy! It's time to treat you! So follow me~"
Ryouta didn't know what Anko was going to do, but he did follow after her.
Moving towards what Ryouta saw as a hot springs, and Anko pushed him inside.
He was surprised that this was the place Anko was going to bring him.
But he didn't mind if this is what Anko wished to do.
Getting undressed, and appearing in a towel, Ryouta moved to what he saw as the boys baths, only to see when he got there Anko clad in a towel. Though she protected her modesty very well, the fact that the towel was the only thing covering her right now, and how tightly wrapped the towel was around her...
His face turned bright red, while Anko giggled.
"Hey there, glad you could make it."
"Bu-But, isn't this the boys side?"
"Boys side? No, the girls~"
Ryouta bowed, and tried to leave.
But was stopped as Anko jumped before him.
"Relax, it's fine~ I talked with the staff, it's only us right now, so come and join me in the water~"
Following her into the water, Anko slid into the water as did Ryouta.
Parting slightly from her, Anko wouldn't accept it, and moved closer.
"Sensei, did you switch the signs?"
Despite being acutely aware she probably did, he asked for confirmation anyway, which she gave him with a laugh.
"I did yeah, and then switched it back so only the girls will come over here." Answering with a trade mark smile, she moved in even closer, her breath tickled his skin, his cheeks turning red as a result. "So, tell me some stuff about you Ryouta~"
"L-Like what Sensei?"
"Aah, I don't know. Tell me, it seems that a few girls have a crush on you, right?"
"Y-Yes Sensei. Satsuki-chan and I are..."
"You're dating, right?"
Ryouta nodded as his head stayed down, his eyes seeing the hot steamy water below him reflecting his image.
Anko giggled to herself, finding the way he was being shy rather cute.
"You don't have to be shy, you know?"
"I...yes, I understand..."
"Aah, you are quite cute huh. I'm sure in like two years, you'd be quite...lets say you're gonna have a fun time~"
"S-Sensei..."
Knowing what she was speaking about, he spoke up, only to see Anko leaning forward, her eyes meeting with his own. Seeing her so close, his eyes shot back down to the water as she laid her arm around his shoulder, pulling closer and closer.
"I wouldn't mind teasing you as you grow up more, I'm sure you're going to be quite the handsome man. For now, a bath like this is pretty good~"
Ryouta peered at Anko briefly, seeing her giggling in his direction.
Not in a mean way, but a playful one.
Anko threw her head back, resting it on the side of the large hot spring like bath.
"This water feels really nice."
"Yes, it really does Sensei. Thank you for bringing me here."
"Aah no worries, now let your worries go with the heat of the water~"
As she spoke, the door to the hot springs opened, and he got a surprise when he saw Pakura walking into the hot spring.
"My, I thought this was the female baths?"
Pakura mused as she moved to the water.
"Y-Yes, but Anko-sensei insisted so I..."
Pakura gave a slightly amused look, before she shook his head.
"I don't mind if you stay." Pakura walked closer, and sat beside him, while Anko leaned her head on top of his own towards her. "My, Haku-san did say these waters were nice, but I couldn't have imagined that they'd be this nice."
"How is Haku anyway?"
Anko asked, her chest pushing against the blushing Ryouta's face.
"Yes, she's doing well, we've agreed to meet up tomorrow. I can see a lot of potential within her." Pakura's eyes went towards Ryouta, seeing how red his face was. "Hehe, how did your training go?"
"Well, it went good, I was able to accomplish what Anko-sensei had set for me."
"That's great, I'm sure you'll be a good contender during the Chunin Exams."
As Pakura said it, Anko cheerily waved her hand.
"Oh, my Genin is going to be kicking some ass~"
"I see, I don't have a doubt that he will."
"Yup, now lets all relax..."
Before she could finish it off, Mikoto casually came into the hot springs together with Yugao. Both women clad in towels, Mikoto's eyes went towards Ryouta, and cheerily waved.
"Ryou-kun, there you are. I see that you've managed to sneak into the women's side~"
Teasing him slightly, Mikoto showed a serene smile.
"N-No Mikoto-san, Anko-sensei said that I should be here..."
"Aah, I see. Well, it's okay with me, lets relax for a little while~"
Yugao leaned forward, with a soft smile all her own.
"Anko, are you teasing Ryouta-kun?"
"Aah, you know me~ But this is more than teasing. I'm rewarding my Genin for signing the snake contract and even making a certain red snake his contracted partner~"
"Ooh my, you did Ryou-kun? Congratulations~ I knew you'd be able to do it~"
Mikoto walked over, and hugged the boy into her chest who blushed as a response while Yugao moved closer, and patted his head in an affectionate manner.
"Well done, I've heard that snakes hard to control."
"Yeah, and my Genin totally did it~ Won over such a snake, with strength and kindness~ That's how my Genin rolls after all~"
Anko said it with pride, Pakura's eyes went towards Ryouta, and gently smiled.
"While I'm not sure what you're referring to with this snake, from what you've said it seems that this snake was hard to control, so if that's the case, and you did it Ryouta-san, I'm glad for you and can't wait to see how you're going to progress."
"Thank you everyone...you're really kind."
Then the four women plus Ryouta relaxed in the baths together.
Though relaxing was hard for the young man as he noticed the beauty of the women around him, and how close they were.
Looking on from behind a wooden fence at the very end of the hot springs, Jiraiya was gob smacked.
"What the hell? This kid is living my fantasy! He's got four beautiful and powerful women in the bath! Damn it all, I want to be replaced with that kid right now! They're all so beautiful and so close to that boy...Mikoto-san, known for her gentle beauty, Anko-san with her wild beauty, Pakura-san the kind beauty of Suna, and finally Yugao-san the unknown beauty...damn it Uchiha boy..."
Jiraiya stared with envy at the four women all giggling and casually speaking with Ryouta.
As more envy came over him, his fingers clenched together, and as luck would have it, his fingers pressed against the wooden boards, and they began cracking.
But that alerted the women and Ryouta.
"What the hell?"
Anko began, as Pakura pointed forward.
"There's someone over there."
Jiraiya cringed, and tried to move when Mikoto and Yugao shot for him, and held blades to his neck.
"N-No!"
Jiraiya cried out, seeing that he couldn't move.
"Jiraiya-sama, what did I say about doing this before?"
Jiraiya convulsed on the spot, Mikoto's words were piercing.
"Trying to spy on women, for shame."
Yugao said with a cold tone.
"Where did you keep the swords?" Both Mikoto and Yugao tapped his shoulders with their blades, causing Jiraiya to tremble. "N-Never mind..."
Anko smacked her lips.
"Pervy old dude, what did you expect when you spy on Jonin level Shinobi huh? Thinking we wouldn't know you'd do this?"
Jiraiya's dejected eyes went towards Anko, as she held Ryouta close to her form.
Jealousy shot through him, but that was soon replaced with fear as Pakura summoned a floating orb of Scorch Release.
"This man, it seems that he might have to be taught a lesson in not peeping in on people bathing."
"No, please! I'm sorry! But you let that kid bathe with you!"
Trying to deflect away from himself…
All of the women simply shrugged to Jiraiya's fear.
"He's my Genin, so this kind of affection is fine~"
"That was our choice, I didn't mind him being with us."
"Yes, Ryou-kun and I have known one another for a long time so I'm okay with it."
"I used to watch over the boy, so I don't mind."
Anko said with a grin, Pakura had a stoic expression, Mikoto was beaming away, and Yugao looked rather happy.
Jiraiya shook even more, and watched as the women's eyes narrowed at him.
"Lets punish him."
Anko suggested, Jiraiya cringed.
"Hmm, but how?"
Pakura mused, with Mikoto giggling.
"We could turn him over to Hokage-sama~"
Jiraiya shook his head, as Pakura hummed.
"But would he learn his lesson that peeping is wrong?"
Yugao furrowed her brows.
"Something tells me that he probably wouldn't."
"So, what are we going to do?"
Mikoto asked, as Anko thought deeply.
But then Anko snapped her fingers.
"Got it, Ryouta. Cast a Genjutsu on him." Anko's face went close to Jiraiya's showing a large grin on her face. "And make him see the Hokage-sama..." Anko smirked dangerously as she placed a hand on Jiraiya's shoulder. "...naked!"
Anko began laughing sadistically as Yugao and Mikoto also giggled, albeit without the sadistic tones. Even Pakura cracked a smile.
Jiraiya's life flashed before his eyes.
He couldn't do that.
He wouldn't be able to take it.
"Nooooooooooooooooooo!"
Jiraiya pushed the blades aside, and rushed away.
But by doing so, he knocked Ryouta into Anko's chest first, bouncing off that ended up hitting Pakura's chest with his face by accident, causing Pakura to look down with a mixture of a red face, and a curious expression.
"He isn't getting away, after him."
Yugao said, and shot back into the hot springs, changed back into her clothes, and gave chase together with even Pakura and Anko (who wished to have some more fun) following after her.
Leaving Ryouta and Mikoto alone, the young male looked towards Mikoto who smiled towards him affectionately.
"Seems like it's just you and me Ryou-kun. Want to have a bath?"
"I-If you don't mind?"

It seemed that he really did underestimate the Jonin women.

So this chapter focused a bit on Ryouta fighting Garaga, and learning more about his past, how he viewed his previous summoner, and how he now seems to be closer with Ryouta, even agreeing to work together with him as he saw Ryouta's tenacity and willingness to not give up in anything that he does. Naruko also was worried about not finding a teacher, but Mikoto's pointing her in a certain Sage's direction, while Satsuki is learning the Chidori, and Haku is getting better acquainted with Pakura and learning more together.
Then at the end some relaxing times ensued, and Jiraiya got a bit of a surprise towards the end there~
