It had taken a single week, but Beacon was back in order. To the unsuspecting public, Jaune Arc was saving someone trapped beneath the surface of the school. But to those that knew the truth, Jaune might as well have been an agent of chaos itself.

After initiating a one-man riot (over boredom of all things), Jaune found himself in the Beacon vault. How he arrived there was a mystery to even himself. He had found himself looking at an unconscious woman in a tube, and after looking through the computers, and struggling to open her pod without resorting to hitting it as hard as he could, she was liberated. He didn't hesitate in activating his semblance, a discovery that almost excused the large amounts of property damage in the training ring that he, Nora, and Yang, may or may not have caused. When she awoke, she was taken mock hostage, much to her growing confusion, until Ozpin arrived to defuse the situation.

Amber was her name, as it turned out, and she had information that was vital to the safety of every kingdom. Not that Jaune really cared, but he was glad to help. And he was even more glad that this got him a lighter sentence than expulsion. Though he wasn't sure he was all that excited about it.

Chains rattled as Jaune, Goodwitch and Port approached a metal door. Jaune walked in between the two, standing proud and with a content look on his face, despite the shackles that weighed him down.

"Here we are." Goodwitch spoke as they stopped. Port unlocked and pushed the door open, revealing a very small and spartan room. "You shall remain here for the next six weeks, alone."

Jaune hummed, half listening as his restraints were removed by the larger man.

"You are still required to attend classes, escorted by any member of staff, or another responsible student." Jaune couldn't help but scoff at that.

"Good luck finding one of those." Goodwitch glared at him but said nothing in return. Finally, he was released into his new room. Both adults bid their farewells and shut the door. Goodwitch pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling some tension finally go. Port huffed, a little miffed about the situation.

"Things cannot get any stranger than they are now, Peter." The stout man chuckled quietly and sighed.

"Do not tempt fate, Glynda. Things can and will get stranger then." As if on que, from down the hall, Jaune's singing voice rang through the door.

"Please let out~! Cause I don't love you no more!!" Glynda just groaned, losing her composure as she walked. Port merely stifled his chuckles.

The afternoon had come quickly. Jaime had kept himself busy with whatever exercises he could do alone. The gaggle of students outside the locked room didn't drown out the sound of high heels clicking against the floor, and Jaune couldn't help but grin. He sat patiently as the faint voice of Nora herself, though muffled, pierced through the sounds.

"I can take care of him, Ms. G, don't worry!"

"That's exactly what I'm afraid of." Clicks and a rattle and the door opened. And before either could register it, Nora had flown into the room and latched herself onto the taller boy, who, surprisingly, did not fall over.

"JAUNE-JAUNE!" She shouted into his chest. The blonde brute just laughed and wrapped his arms around the pink powerhouse.

"It's good to see you too, Nora. How's life on the outside?" Before he could receive an answer, Goodwitch interrupted.

"Ahem! While this is touching and all, I didn't bring you here to mingle, Ms. Valkyrie." Nora deflated a little, but a head pat from Jaune quickly brought her back up. Goodwitch just rolled her eyes at them.

"She will be escorting you for the evening, Mr. Arc. First to lunch then to my class. You will be brought back here at the end of the day, understood?" For some reason, Jaune felt that wasn't directed at him whatsoever. He quickly lifted Nora to sit on his flexed arm.

"Don't you worry a single hair on that pretty head, Ms. Goodwitch! Nora here 'll be responsible, right?" He asked his new escort.

"Yepyepyep! Don't worry about a thing, Ms. G!" The headmistress just shook her head in irritation.

"Just make sure not to cause trouble on your way anywhere. And you better hurry, lunch doesn't last forever." Though she really wished it did. She watched the chaotic duo walked out and down the hall. Nora was climbing around her leader, almost impervious to gravity.

"You're a tree, Jaune-Jaune!" She said sitting on his shoulders. He grabbed onto her ankles for balance as she tapped his head.

"And you're a squirrel yeah?" They laughed and Goodwitch shook her head as students jumped out of their way.

"Only halfway through the day, and I can already feel the detention slips in my hands." She grumbled to herself as she walked off. Hopefully Qrow was in Ozpin's office today.

Students eyes widened, and their bodies jumped back as the hulking body of Jaune Arc made its way towards the cafeteria with his teammate riding him like a steed. Student's muttered to each other about him.

They couldn't help but notice his gait, which was very swift instead of meek. He stood taller than before, more confident. his very broad shpulders catching the attention of many, though not as much as his arms, which were on the level of a professional bodybuilder. Of course he was showing off more with the decision to wear a form fitting shirt, and rolling the sleeves up. Then there was the grin on his face, with his half lidded eyes that beamed with happiness.

The world seemed to slow to a very relaxed pace as he kicked the door to the cafeteria open. His eyes scanned the room, looking for nothing in particular until they landed on a random student. He could see them laughing at him. His face held a mocking look, and it changed to one of challenge, scowling and sneering as if to scare him. Jaune took one hand off of Nora's ankle and pointed at the boy, his face stony and eyes angry. Nora pounded her fists together, clearly exited and supportive of her friend.

A grin came to Jaune's face as the guy's face went livid in surprise, clearly taken back by the sudden acceptance. He would have him good, and he'd enjoy it. Combat class was next after all, bur first, he needed to eat.

Ruby could only stare as the bulky figure of her first friend made its way to their usual table. She wasn't the only one, but she could feel the tension before anyone else; Cardin was sitting in Jaune's spot. Yang quickly prepared to grab her sister and get out before it got messy, as did Blake with Weiss, but all Jaune did was stand behind him, waiting for the ginger to take notice. And he did.

"Um... Yes?" Cardin looked him in the eye, unsure of what to do. Pyrrha felt the tension and grabbed his hand to calm him down.

"You're in my seat." His tone was dangerous. Almost threatining in a way. Now, Pyrrha had lots of patience with her teammates, and handled alot of negativity rather well, but Jaune treating her boyfriend with unwarranted hostility was the straw that broke the camels back.

"Enough, Jaune!" The boy's eyes blinked in surprise. He looked at his partner, almost as if he'd been slapped like slapstick character. "Every time you even come close to Cardin, you act like he murdered your dog or something! What the hell is the matter with you, Jaune!?"

The boy blinked, his eyes darting back and forth before once again landing on Pyrrha. He simply pointed to the former bully, and spoke.

"Well, he is in my seat." Pyrrha's eye twitched. "Can you get him off?"

The sudden sting caught him off guard, and the ringing in his ear faded as soon as it started. Jaune simply watched as his partner took hold of her boyfriend's hand and stormed out of the cafeteria.

Shrugging, Jaune had Nora hop off and sit in her spot as he took his. The table was quiet and nobody did anything. Except Nora, she happily rubbed her hands all over her leader's shaved head.

"So, what's new?"

"I can't wait to see how you break that guy's legs, fearless leader!" Jaune smiled brightly and lifted her onto his shoulders. She laughed and kept her hands on top of his head for balance, as weird as that might have seen.

The student who Jaune had challenged, Michael was his name, was more than just a random challenger to Jaune. He was like Cardin was before, racist, irrational and full of himself, yet somehow worse. It was a wonder as to how Ozpin let monsters like these into his school.

Jaune brushed the thought away as he entered Goodwitch's class, Nora announcing their arrival.

"THE QUEEN AND HER LOYAL KNIGHT HAVE ARRIVED!"

Jaune gave a, somewhat, psychotic grin, unsettling everyone who had already began to quietly judge them. A smirk began growing on his face. Goodwitch pinched the bridge of her nose, already feeling a headache.

"Mr. Arc, would you please set your teammate down and get in the arena?" The, now bald, student did as he was told. Jaune strutted to the arena, mocking Goodwitch subtly as he did.

"Alright, freak. Let's do this." His opponent drew his weapon. A twisted grin grew on Jaune's face as he flared his aura, and quickly approached his opponent.

Qrow stared at the arena with a dumbfounded expression. A second year student was being brutally manhandled by a first year with no weapons, and little aura control. If he hadn't known about Salem, Osma, the relics and the gods, this would've probably been pretty high up on his list of stupid things. He wasn't even sure if this counted as entertainment anymore, it was just...

"Brutal." He muttered, and heavily cringed, as the first year punched the second year in his family jewels.

"Very. It's honestly surprising how much Mr. Arc has changed. And in such a short time as well." Ozpin flinched at the fight as he slipped his coffee. "I've never seen a thing like this before. Not in all my lives."

"Should we be worried?" He went to take a sip from his flask, which was empty. He silently cursed Goodwitch for that one. "Because it seems like we should."

"Yes. one hundred percent. Mr. Arc is a brilliant strategist. And now that he's as wild and unpredictable as Ms. Valkyrie, we'll have a lot more on our hands than we can possibly think of." Qrow groaned and ran his hand down his face.

"Great. Just great." He quickly moved his head to the side as the second year's weapon flew by. "I need a drink."

"Winner by... whatever this is... Jaune Arc!" Goodwitch announced with clear irritation in her voice. The blonde brute just roared with triumph as he flexed.
