Not My Fault
Chapter 1Olivia was sitting on her couch replaying the day's events in her mind. Elliot had got angry with her lately. It was tearing her apart.
"I can't keep looking over my shoulder making sure you're okay," Elliot said "You son of a bitch you no that's not true" Olivia replied "I need to know you can do you're job with out waiting for me to come to the rescue"
"Look we both chose each other over the job. We can't let that happen again… Otherwise we can't be partners" "I can't believe you're saying that" "You and this job are about the only things I've got anymore. I don't want to wreck that"
"Olivia what's wrong" "I want a new partner"
Elliot stormed out of Cragen's office he was upset. He didn't mean for her take his words so seriously. He was to busy thinking about what the captain had said to notice that he'd pulled up outside Olivia's apartment. He waited a few minutes before climbing out the car and walking up to the building. He pressed the buzzer for Olivia's apartment.
"Yeah" he heard her say
"Liv it's me. We need to talk"
"Fine. Come up"
He walked through the doors and got the elevator to her apartment. When he got there he knocked on her door.
"El what do you want?" she asked
"Can I come in Liv? Please"
"Fine." She let him in. After she shut the door she turned to him "Well what do you want to talk about?"
"Why Liv, Why?"
"You said we couldn't be partners…"
"…If we kept choosing each other over the job"
"That's the problem El. I'll always choose you over the job."
"Liv please don't do this"
"I have to El. I care to much about you"
"Liv I care about you to. That what makes us so good together"
"You don't get it El. I care for you more than a partner, more than friend"
"What you saying Olivia"
"I love you El."
Elliot walked closer to Olivia. When he was standing a couple of inches away he said "I love you too Liv" he then lent down and kissed her.
"That's why we can't work together anymore" She replied when he'd pulled away.
"Liv please…come back e don't have to be partners…we could swap with Munch and Fin"
"I don't know Elliot"
"Please Liv. Just think about it"
"I will. I promise"
