Billy was oblivious to everything in his life.
Except the trains that came rattling by every thirty seconds or so with more guests.
He was content to chew on the clothes of the very last prospector that lived here in Thunder Mesa.
It was rather lonely without much company - just the prospector and his two donkeys. It had been this way since the earthquake that killed most of the miners and prospectors on the mountain.
Billy noticed that.
But it was nice to see that there was still life in these here hills, rather than just ghosts and angry spirits.
A/N:
Disneyland Paris has a different backstory to all the other Big Thunder Mountains. The whole Frontierland has a backstory - it's the town of Thunder Mesa, and it was founded by Henry Ravenswood, now The Phantom of Phantom Manor. Thunder Mesa was a gold rush town. Henry Ravenswood's activities angered the Thunderbird of Big Thunder Mountain, and so the Thunderbird flapped its wings and created an earthquake that took half the town out - including Henry Ravenswood himself - and dragged them down to the Phantom Canyon.
Since then, Thunder Mesa is a much quieter place.
And Billy, doesn't have dynamite to chew on - so he chews on the clothes of the prospector.
