Prompt – 047: Truth
"I want to tell the Doctor."
He freezes. "Rose—"
"I won't tell him about you. I just…I hate lying to him." Jack hears the defensiveness in her tone, "It doesn't matter what you think, I'm telling him anyway. I just thought you should know."
Jack understands the need for absolution, but it'll be his head on the block.
Yet, while the Doctor's helpfully kept his distance, he won't forever. It's been a week since they confirmed she wasn't pregnant, three since the wardrobe, and neither of them have met his eyes once.
Jack catches her eye. "Tell him everything."
