John Munch lay in bed staring at the ceiling above, thinking about the women he always had on his mind. The only women on his mind, Detective Olivia Benson.
John had realized that he was in love with Olivia for sometime and was always afraid she would say if she found out, as desperate as he was to tell her he couldn't for the fear that he would be rejected was always there. Though he was terrified she would reject him his feelings for her were getting stronger by the minute and he couldn't just deny them everyday and though he was scared he couldn't hold it in any longer and decided he had to tell her how he felt, thinking of ways to tell her John finally passed out.

"Morning, John" John was greeted by Olivia's beautiful smile.
"Morning"
John looked across to where Olivia sits and couldn't wait any longer to tell her how he felt… so getting out of his chair he went over to Olivia and whispered into her ear "Follow me" she gave him a weird look of confusion… but did as he said.

Once Olivia reached the access door to the roof she saw John standing by the railing.
"What's wrong?" she questioned him.
"I have to tell you something"
"What…?"
"I have to tell you that…" the words wouldn't come out of his mouth, nor could him lips for the next words that he wanted to say.
"Tell me what?" Olivia was getting scared now.
"I have to tell you that… I love you, I've always loved you and always will love you" and with that John took her into his arms and kissed her passionately. Once he pulled away he searched her eyes for an answer.
"I…I" was all Olivia could say so John turned his attention away from Olivia and back to the people and cars below.
"John?" Olivia grabbed John's hand and he turned to look at her and for the first time she could see past his tinted glasses and into his heart.
"I love you too" she smiled at him and reaching up she kissed him, it started out gentle at first and increased in intensity as she opened her mouth to grant him access and deepen the kiss. When they pulled apart for air John held her close to his body. His greatest fear has been conquered and his greatest dream answered.
