I am so glad to be back to Naruto stories, I missed them all! I missed writing these amazing stories I came up with.
I adore this chapter, it was beyond fun!
It was an easy thing for Kagami to move through the hundred Naruto Clones, decimating each and everyone with his fists and feet and elbows. He tore through them without effort, snapping necks, breaking ribs and rupturing organs with his incredible strength. Shizune watched with awe as the boy destroyed his brother's clone so effortlessly. It was beautiful to watch.
"Maybe he might be able to hit Tsunade once..." She muttered from a distance, wondering and hoping the boy's skills were enough. She wanted to go back to the Leaf, she had wanted to go back for over a decade, she missed it. She missed having roots, having a place to call home, free from her mistress' gambling and drinking. She wanted peace... no matter how guilty it made her feel to want that.
For another few hours, she watched the boy move through his katana katas, crushing his brother's clones just as effortlessly. "I think you got this, Kagami!" Naruto said, excited. "You beat all my clones so easily! The old hag doesn't stand a chance!"
Kagami sighed. " Naruto, she is a kage level ninja, even in a rusty state she is still incredibly powerful. I will be lucky to get a hit on her."
'He's not cocky... perfect, that only makes him all the more likely to hit Tsunade,... perfect. I hope he succeeds.'

"She waking up." Kagami said, and Shizune slowly found her focus once more as consciousness returned.
Panic set in. "What time is it, what day?"
"Monday morning, what is wrong?" Kagami commanded with all the power of a Kage. Naruto was next to his brother, both looking at her with a mixture of worry and fear, though also deep power in Kagami's case.
Throwing herself up, she ran towards the window. "Stay here, you two, you hear me, stay here!" She was stopped when a Kunai slammed into the pipe near her head. Turning, she saw a very weary, clearly drugged Jiraiya looking at her. "What in the world?"
"She slipped me a mickey!" Jiraiya said right after Naruto and Kagami rushed to the window.
Kagami rushed out, helping Jiraiya to the floor. "Your chakra is a mess, I can barely feel it, it's wavering. She must have hit you with something strong... Shizune, help us out."
She nodded. "I know what she hit him with, it's the only thing that would affect the chakra of someone of Jiraiya's caliber like this." She ran inside and gathered supplies and within ten minutes prepared something for Jiraiya that regulated his chakra.
Shizune placed the glass down, about to open her mouth before she was slammed in the wall by a very angry Kagami. "What is that traitor up to, Shizune, lie to me and I will Rasengan you to oblivion." A Rasengan appeared in the boy's hand, making his point all the more terrifying.
Sighing, Shizune explained the deal her mistress made with Orochimaru, to revive Dan and Nawaki at the cost of two souls and the lives of all in the Leaf. They all seemed horrified, though she noticed through her healer's eyes that Kagami's worry seemed false... cold... less valuable than Naruto or Jiraiya's worry. She would question that later, but for now they had to worry about Tsunade.
Within minutes they were off, rushing to the spot where the deal was to be made...

Kagami was not all that shocked to see Kabuto with Orochimaru when they stopped his attack on a very wounded looking Tsunade. They had tracked Tsunade down with the help of her pig, only to find a battlefield riddled with craters from her super strength. It was an awe inspiring sight, a humbling one actually. How any one person had such power was... baffling. Still, Kagami kept his head as he stared down Kabuto.
"It's been a long time, old friend." Orochimaru mocked.
"Long time indeed, can't say it's improved your looks any old friend," Jiraiya replied.
Kagami just sighed. "Can't we stop the flirting and get to the killing?"
Kabuto laughed. "Ahh, it's been some time Kagami. Lord Orochimaru wants you dead for causing the death of two of the Sound Four and causing him to lose control over his arms. I am afraid I have to kill you."
"You can try." Kagami mocked. "I am not alone and frankly, I am a lot stronger than you realize. I faced the Second Hokage and survived."
"That is true, but how much of that was the power of the Fox?"
Kagami grinned. "We will see, you little worm."
"OUT THE WAY," Tsunade barked as she knocked him and Jiraiya over. " I CAN HANDLE THEM!" Then, in an impressive display of taijutsu power, she decimated Kabuto and forced him to back up against a rock... only for Kabuto to carve his hand, forcing blood all over the Sanin. The woman went into immediate shock and was sent flying by Kabuto.
Rising while Naruto begged. "What is going on, why is Kabuto and Granny going at each other?"
"He works for Orochimaru, idiot." Kagami said, snapping at his dumb older brother. The idiot that was his brother moved to go fight Kabuto, only to be stopped by Kagami sternly grabbing his arm. "You fool, his chakra levels are higher than Kakashi's and just as potent. I noticed it before, but now he is not repressing his powers like he was at the Chunin exams. Orochimaru would not let a weakling fight for him, that is not in his nature. If we fight we fight smart, not hard."
Naruto pulled away, angry enough to charge at Kabuto anyway. Kabuto thrashed him easily, only for Kagami to move with a powerful strike, slashing at Kabuto's chest. Tha man dodge that strike but was kicked away hard enough to send him flying to Orochimaru.
"Damn, my reflexes are still too weak from her attack." Kabuto groaned.
Jiraiya turned to him. "Kagami, you helped Shizune with four eyes, I'll take Orochimaru. Naruto, you protect Tsunade."
Naruto gaped. "Why does Kagami get to fight Kabuto?"
"Cause he is stronger than you." Shizune said, hating how it hurt the boy's heart to hear those words. "I am sorry, Naruto, but your brother is stronger, I watched you two train together, he is miles above you."
Naruto scowled, hateful and angry. "No, he's not!" And Naruto charged Kabuto once more, rage enveloping his every feature.
Only to be knocked back and eaten by the very massive multiheaded snake that Kabuto and Orochimaru summoned.
Kabuto and Kagami met once more fifty feet from the giant serpent, blade to kunai, again and again, while Shizune peppered Kabuto with barely missed Senbon. The medical ninja was extremely talented, that much was clear, however, it was just as clear that Kagami had experience fighting a powerful Ninja of some variety. Kagami moved like a dancer, dodging strikes with grace and effort that belied his age, clearly, he was experienced. Eventually, The boy started to glow red and vanished, when he appeared, blood exploded around Kabuto who collapsed in a puddle of blood, his head rolling next to his body. "Moonlight Fox!" Kagami muttered.
The boy turned to her. "How's Tsunade?" he asked, before screaming as Orochimaru's fangs dug into his throat.
Shizune rushed to him, only to watch as Orochimaru went flying, his face smashed in by a very, very angry Tsunade. Naruto, who was just climbing out of the snake, looked on in horror at the whole thing.
None of that mattered more than Kagami, screaming in agony, holding his throat. "HElp... ahh... AHHH!" A wave of chakra, dark as midnight, exploded from him and a mark appeared on his throat. Three slightly bent lines...
Orochimaru, standing, mocked. "The Curse Mark of Earth, equal only to the Mark of Heaven on Sasuke... wonderful... quite wonderful... I will see you all again... soon..." And with that, Orochimaru sank into the ground, and vanished, leaving them all to the horror show that was to come.
Tsunade rushed to Kagami. "Jiraiya what do we know of the curse mark?"
"Not a lot..." The man said, his tone soft. "The boy may die today."
"NO! Please, old lady, please help him!"
Tsunade nodded. "I will do my best." She kneeled and placed her hands on his chest, only to frown. "Huh... the curse mark is faded already, the Kyuubi is likely already eroding it's essence. He will be fine, Naruto, without my help. Good, I will need more powerful Ninja if I am to be Hokage."
Naruto gaped. "You are going to be Hokage?"
She nodded. "I owe you, and your brother for... and Jiraiya. I can only make amends by being Hokage. You proved yourselves ten times braver than I am... please, forgive me,... all of you."
Naruto sighed. "Just keep my brother alive... I... I messed up again, I let my jealousy get the best of me, again." He sighed.
She nodded. "Yes, you did... and I-" they all stopped as a blast of chakra ripped from Kagami's body, one of rage and hate a mile wide. The boy's body convulsed and then the Curse Mark faded but still the boy did not wake up. "We have to keep an eye on him for at least another few days."
And so they were off, returning to the Hotel with Kagami in tow.
None of them noticed the sheer loathing in the boy's expression, or the permanent shift in his chakra rendering him far darker than before.
