I was going to go the full Shadow clone route, but I realized Sakura never needed it and she is one of the best in the series... so yeah, screw the Shadow Clones! Raw effort away!

Any ideas for code names?

Also for those of you who miss Genjutsu and were annoyed that he never used it despite it being in his skill set, so was I,... so read and you'll love what you see.

It was depressing as hell to watch his own funeral through the orb on Danzo's desk. Hearing his brother sobbing brokenly over his coffin, Yugao brokenly crying by his grave, even Shino weeping freely... it made him realize that despite his spite, he was a bit more loved than he had realized. How much had Orochimaru's curse mark blinded him... still, he was not swayed so much as to leave Danzo. He realized that a few years with the man was enough to give him the strength and skill to do almost anything, the man was a kage level ninja. With his own natural dedication and intelligence and skills mixed with the man's power and direction... well Kagami would be easily Kage level in a few years.

And boy did he need it, as Danzo broke down while they moved into his new room and told him of the growing power of the Akatsuki. Of Itachi, Kisame, Sasori, Kakazu, and someone called Pein and so many others... he told him of the evils that the village would face in the coming days, as the Akatsuki came to look for him and Naruto. All S Rank, all under one banner. Alone they could decimate any village, and that was something that even Kagami found motivating.

"So, my boy, where do you wish to start?" Danzo started as his horrible funeral faded from the orb.

Kagami sighed. "You know my full powerset, right?" Danzo nodded. "Then I guess I should work on adjusting my style to something more unique, so I am not detected through it. My style is too distinctive, too obvious. I also need more work on genjutsu, I know it but it is too weak right now. It's why I barely used it I need to really work on my sensory powers, in accuracy and form. Lastly, I need seals... I refuse to be unable to protect myself from people using my seal against me."

I also want to be as well-rounded as possible, I may have hated the Third, but he was the best for a reason. I want skills in all areas, even all of the Elemental techniques. I want to be good at everything, even healing. I want to be as powerful as possible, I want to be a nightmare to my enemies. Can you do that?"

The old man laughed. "You are a determined one... very well. However, I would also like you to learn to use Kyuubi's power as well, to really harness it. I had people monitoring your mother, I know some basics of how to use that power but that is it. You are on your own for that."

"You can use my power freely, but do not tell him that. He will die for forcing us into such servitude." The Fox said, echoing in his heart.

Kagami frowned. "The Fox says he will cooperate, but only as I prove myself worthy." 'That will let him know I can use at least a little of your power, but not the full extent, we cannot show our entire hand here.'

"Agreed."

Danzo nodded. "That works for now. Now, as for how your training will go... I have many ideas... First off, you will start by conditioning from five to eight, with weights on. I have a better routine, inspired by Might Gai and the Fourth Hokage. Your conditioning will happen while you stick objects to your body, for chakra control, a trick Tsunade has her medical students try. It will build your reserves, your control and focus by miles.

After eating your breakfast, you will meditate for thirty minutes at least to heal and to build you control and chakra sensitivity, then move into Taijutsu training against one of my men, then Kenjutsu training for at least an hour and a half each. From there you will work on your wind and water control, I will also be having you work on fire chakra control as well, to get the most out of your Wind chakra. Wind chakra will always take precident, as that is your main affinity. I will be teaching you at least two dozen ways to master that skill, with and without blade.

I want you to spend an hour casting genjutsu on our prisoners, molding them into something to be feared, not just basic illusions. Some will be basic yes, masking your presence and so on, but others will be mental and will be used to destroy minds. You saw what Kabuto did with the Temple of Nirvana during the Chunin exams. I expect you to also become a master of breaking illusions. This will make you immune to the Sharingan of Itachi, I hope, and make you very, very dangerous to our enemies both in and out of battle.

For at least two hours you will be working on the Kyuubi's power, maintaining it, molding it, using it to expand your sensory powers, your physical powers and so on. You will master it in a way your brotherr never will. You will use it to be the shield and sword our village needs, protecting it's ROOTS.

When you are done physically training, you will be reading up on seals for at least an hour each day, practicing for another hour. I also expect you to read up on any random subject you are presented. Be it history, anatomy, medical ninjutsu, or politics. I want you to be as capable as possible, to be capable of molding yourself into whatever you need to be to be victorious.

By the week's end, you will learn how to make a water clone, which is ten times more useful than any mere clone jutsu you learned in the academy. You will also work very hard to master the substitution and shushin, I trained Shisui Uchiha and his mastery of both made him Kage level as a teen, the Fourth Hokage and Raikage are both terrifying for their mastery of such jutsu. Kakashi is as well, to be honest, as is Orochimaru. I expect you to work hard, to make real mastery of these basic but incredible powers.

Oh, and to ensure you are not discovered, I will also have you learn ANBU and ROOT Kenjutsu, ROOT taijutsu and the Strong Fist so beloved by Might Gai to take advantage of your remarkable speed and strength. Prepare for a tough few years... or rather three months. In three months, you will be allowed on your first missions for me, to give you skill as a ninja and to make a name for yourself. People will know you as a wandering Ninja, never knowing your ties to the Leaf until it is too late!"

Kagami froze. "You killed me, what's the point?"

"To revive you when the village needs you the most, when we go against the Akatsuki with a kage level Jinchuuriki. With a fraction of The Fox's power, Naruto bested a jonin level ninja while being barely genin. A kage level ninja wielding that power would be unstoppable. You are our village's hidden weapon!"

Sighing internally, Kagami. " Anything else I need to know?"

"Once a week, you will be responsible for killing our prisoners. I want you use to executions... now... let's get you armed and started."

Kagami hid his shiver. 'Just what the hell did I get myself into... or rather, was what was I forced into?'

This was a blast to write. Simple yes, but it sets up things so freaking well, making me adore this story all the more. It sets up the path for Kagami all the more.

I know when he will be revealed, it's already in my head.
