Sakura became better than Shizune plus a great fighter in three years. Sasuke a kage level Ninja in three years. I think it is not hard to imagine someone like Kagami become a badass in three years.
Danzo is no stranger to the messing with bodies... I took note of that.
The first thing Kagami was presented with when he returned and snuck into the ROOT base was a bingo book, courtesy of one Danzo Shimura. "Read expert one twenty seven."
And so, that is what Kagami did, opening the book. His eyes were wide as he did so.

Danzo laughed. "Very, very fast. Tsunade is all in a tizzy that you stole the bodies of the dead ninjas. She never knew you stole Neji's blood... speaking of, you are going ot have it transfused into your system."
"Why? It was barely a vial full, isn't there better uses?"
"Ahh, but I want to see what the power of Neji Hyuuga will do to you, mixing powerful Hyuuga blood and chakra into the body of a powerful Uzumaki and Jinchuuriki!"
Sighing he nodded, knowing he had no choice. "I draw the line at getting an eye transplant, unless I lose an eye."
"I can agree to that. Now... prepare yourself, and go to the medical bay."
Sighing once more, he did as he was told...
Two hours later, after receiving his transfusion, that is when the burning started and Kagami fell into a deep state of unconsciousness almost immediately... through the result of sheer training, he managed to fall into his mindscape where he looked at the Yin half of Kyuubi. "Am I getting the Byakugan?"
"I honestly couldn't tell you, I rarely dealt with the Hyuuga... my best guess is that you cannot get the Byakugan, but the bloodline and chakra in your system is having some transformative effects on your body. Blood carries chakra the most purely, your body consuming and destroying it would essentially make you absorb the bloodline and integrate it's essence into you! Mixing Powerful Uzumaki chakra, and the power of the Hyuuga... it will have odd effects.
Especially as you were injected with more then the Hyuuga's blood... I detect the Kaguya's residual power in your blood. Both of these bloodlines used to be one, and I cannot imagine they will do well in your body..."
"Ugh... I hate Danzo, remind me to kill him... wait, will this make me sterile?"
The Fox went silent. "I have no idea to be entirely honest... you have a better understanding of these things than me."
"It just might, if the fever doesn't..."

"The boy's fever has broken, he might be out of this yet." Ton said, running his hands through and around the boy's body.
Danzo nodded, relieved. "What is the rest of his status?"
"The boy's chakra is unstable but mutating. I am unsure of how the injects will affect him. The Byakugan has actually different structures and the Kaguya's physiologies are entirely different. He will not develop the Byakugan or their unique bloodlines, however, my guess is that his healing might increase like a Kaguya's, his bones might become denser now, he might gain greater chakra control or the ability to use chakra through all his chakra points. Likely his chakra will become stronger overall... it will not be like your arm, which has symbotic cells, this is merely a case of the bloodlines and their chakra being consumed by his body. Absorbing chakra and bloodlines has always had odd effects, often fatal... sometimes not, as with the Gold and Silver Brothers."
"I see... continue to monitor the boy, at least until he awakens."
"Too late." Kagami's voice brought relief to Danzo's chest, he had not cost the Leaf a Jinchuuriki or himself an heir. "Why the Kaguya's blood..."
"Legends tell of a time in which the Kaguya, Hyuuga, Senju, Uzumaki and Senju's came from the same line. I was curious to see if that was true... how do you feel?"
"Like Tsunade has been picking on me... my chakra is itchy. My bones hurt... I feel awful... no training for the rest of the day, I need my rest until I adapt."
Danzo nodded. "I will give you a day, now, rest and ready yourself for the days to come. I have a prisoner for you to interrogate."
Kagami just groaned at him before closing his eyes and trying to fall asleep. Danzo just snorted at the boy before hurrying away, having a lot to get ready for the days to come. He only had three years to mold Kagami into a powerful, Kage level Ninja. The boy needed every advantage, there was a reason he injected the boy with such powerful blood. He needed to see if it could give the boy advantages, or would be burned off into nothing...
He needed to make him the strongest he could become... by any means... he had seen what Hashirama's cells could do, and what aa Byakugan could do alone, and of course he had faced Kaguya's before. Mixing even a sliver of that power into the boy had to bear some results...
