I know I said the first chapter would arrive later this month. Well, technically, it does. This is just the prologue, the true chapter 1 is coming later. :p
Also, I didn't expect a silly idea like this one to be well received. Your excitement makes me both happy and nervous.
About the waifu, it seems Melina is the favorite so far, but don't worry, it's not definitive yet.
Now, time to answer some questions :
- Is it going to be a single pairing or a harem?
A single pairing, let's be serious two minutes here. Peter's life of protecting New York is already tough, so imagine him having to deal with multiple waifus at once!
- Is Spider-Man going to gain power from runes?
I think Spider-Man is already powerful enough. Between his strength, his spider sense, and his webs (That doesn't mean he's invincible though). Right now I don't think letting him use runes would be fitting, but don't hesitate to let me know your opinions!
- Is he gonna use magic?
Let him discover this concept first, shall we? :p
- Please save everyone!
Ehhhh, I'll do what I can ok? There are some people Peter will be able to save unlike in the game, others though... I guarentee nothing. Of course, Peter's waifu will survive, don't worry.
Aside from that, the story will be from Peter's POV for the most part.

Peter's POV
"Ouch, my head..."
While grumbling, I stand up and realize I'm in a sort of dark cave, also there's a golden tree for some reason.
...Wait a minute. There's something wrong here. Since when are tree limbs golden?
Or should I say, how did I end up here?
All I remember is that big explosion, I was out hunting bad guys you see. As usual, some might say. That's my duty after all. I'm doing this since like what, 3 years? Ever since I got bitten by this particular spider, I've sworn myself to protect my home city, New York. Today I'm known as Spider-Man. Pretty cool huh? Since my beginnings as a hero, I've defeated villains such as thieves, Doctor Octavius...
Anyway, I think you've heard of me well enough. I don't want to bore you so let's recap the important part.
A few hours ago, there was a conference taking place in my former high school. Apparently, a brillant student was close to realize the first teleporting device. And I gotta say it's freaking awesome! I would have loved to see it in action, but it seems some poeple just want to annoy me and others.
I was at my apartment, alone. Yeah, since my aunt and uncle died...
Anyway. I was at home eating some food, until the news arrived, proclaiming a group of masked men was currently holding hostage the public in the high school. I immediately put on my suit, and I swinged as fast as I could to the building.
Once there, I entered the stage and immediatey knocked out three of those gangsters, but I let you imagine my surprise when one of those pulled out a freaking rocket launcher!
Luckily for me I avoided it, but the explosion broke the machine, while also trapping me under a pile of rubble. I don't remember what happened exactly after that, but there was a light and I think I fainted...
That still doesn't explain how I got here. Most likely a result of the teleporting device. Kind of weird why it transported me there though. I should probably contact...
Damn it, no network! Great, my phone is useless here.
Well, I guess I should just leave this place. I don't want to rot here. There is a door so it must be the ex-
My spider sense has activated. Attack from behind!
I immediately jump, and from the roof of this cave I can see... Well, I don't know, looks like a knight? That cosplay looks really good, I have to admit. The sword in particular is really well done! But I can't tell who he's cosplaying.
"Get down from here you freak!" Rude man, really rude.
"Man, that's not a way to say hello to people you know? First you attack me from behind, and now you insult me."
"Your armor is ridiculous..."
My armor? What is he talking about...
Oh right, I have the suit still. Actually, thanks the Lord I still have it! I don't want anyone to see my face while using my powers.
But that dude isn't nice, so it's time for punishment!
I use my web to snatch his sword.
"HEY! Give me that back!"
"Dude, your cosplay looks really good, but you're taking stuff a bit too far..."
"I won't tolerate any more insolence from you! Give me that back!" He still refuses to communicate I see, I guess I don't have choice.
"As you wish!"
Just as I drop his sword and he catches it, I get down and go behind him before giving him a blow in the neck so as to knock him out. Come on, I won't kill this dude, he seems pretty lost. I'm performing a service here, he needs some rest!
"Have a nice dream." I say just as I'm heading to that door next to that weird golden branch.
Opening it, i can see... Well, there's like a button on the ground? I think I should activate it... Oh great, now the ground is trembling. Hmm, actually, the platform is moving upward. Is this some kind of elevator? Very fancy. I like that.
Oh, it stops. And there's another door! I really hope it's the exit. Wait, there's no handle? How I am... Oh. I need to pull it up.
