Hello everyone! I first want to give a big thank you to EvilTookMyHeart72 for your lovely review! It means a lot to hear you have enjoyed the story since chapter one. So again, thank you so much! Along with everyone who has been following along. I truly appreciate every single one of you.
Okay, so this will be the final main chapter. The fall. Alcina and her daughters meet their demise, but this will not be the end. No. I have decided to give them a bit of redemption in another life if you will. That will come soon, but for now I hope you guys enjoy!
The blood tea had been poured. Breakfast brought out and served. The girls talking and laughing together without a care in the world. Alcina sat back in her chair and admired them. How much they had grown. How the time had just flown by in a whirlwind.
From the day they had awoken and looked at her. She loved them and they loved her. Teaching them the very basic skills of being able to read and write to the art of hunting. Enjoying the thrill of the chase. Raising them up to be the queens they all were.
Her beloved Bela.
Her dearest Daniela.
Her precious Cassandra.
They had faced many challenges alongside these triumphs, but they never wavered. They never faltered. They always stood tall. Transformed. They were their own individual selves and they stood proud.
All three abruptly fell silent and stared over at her, smiling.
Alcina quirked a brow.
"What is it?"
"Nothing, Mother, nothing you need to worry about," Cassandra said.
Bela rolled her eyes.
Daniela giggled.
Alcina could not help but smirk.

Journal Entry:
The years have flown by. Some of them so quickly it is hard to remember all the details. So many foreigners. My daughters have been enjoying themselves with the entertainment. Sometimes a little too much if I may be honest; I adore their enthusiasm, truly. They are such good girls…
As I look outside my window, I can see the sun just setting over the mountains. The world a mixture of blues and greys. Night will fall soon and tomorrow a new chapter will begin for us. One Mother Miranda has already set in motion. Her precious daughter will be reborn. The ceremony… I do not have doubts that Mother Miranda will succeed, but I do ponder if her ambitions for this specific child will lead to severe consequences…
She set down her pen and notebook, rising out of her seat and deciding to prepare for bed. She would have to do this on her own now. Every single servant had been disposed of. That had been the order…
Downstairs in her bedchamber, she quietly entered and found herself alone. Odd. Though this was not an anomaly. She knew her daughters would join her as soon as they decided. Ever since she renovated the rooms years back, including the nursery, they spent more time away, though Bela was always very punctual.
She will be here soon enough…
And just as Alcina thought this did Bela arrive fifteen minutes later. Fresh nightgown donned. Face cleaned of any blood residue.
"Goodnight, Mother," Bela said, resting her head on her mother's shoulder and closing her eyes.
"Sleep well, beloved." Alcina smiled, stroking Bela's hair as she drifted off to sleep.
Alcina, too, had begun to drift asleep. Her snores offsetting Bela's gentle breaths when she was awoken by a voice.
"M-Mother?"
For one brief moment it was Josie standing in the doorway. Her reddish-brown hair hanging loosely down her face and her green eyes. Her beautiful green eyes…, but it was of course not Josie. It was her other red haired child with her green pendant glittering off the firelight.
"Daniela," Alcina said, motioning for her to come, shifted herself and Bela slightly to allow Daniela just enough space to squeeze her in. Once she was settled comfortably against her mother, Daniela whispered:
"Mother?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
"Daniela…," Alcina placed a kiss to her forehead. "I love you, too."
The warmth of her loves. Their steady breathing. They were the reason why she believed. Believed that no matter the dangers, they would all get through and survive it together. Forever.
Long, dark lashes started to flutter shut, but just before she drifted away did she see Cassandra materialize. Taking a seat in the chair with a faint smile on her face, scythe rested in her lap. Watching over them. Protecting them. It was what she did… she would fight to the death. They all would for one another. That was the way of House Dimitrescu. The everlasting bond between Alcina and her daughters…

This… this could not be real.
No.
Impossible.
She felt each of their lights fade. Her beloved Bela whom she found in the kitchen. The tears rolling down her face as she scooped what remained of her child in her arms, holding it close to her bosom and then releasing a roar of a scream. The very foundation of the castle trembling.
Cassandra and Daniela appeared by her side.
Daniela weeping uncontrollably at the sight of her sister, while a single tear ran down Cassandra's cheek.
"Cassandra! Hunt him down."
"Yes, Mother."
"Daniela," her tone softening towards her youngest, reaching out and taking her hand. "Come, dearest, we must keep you safe."
She led her to the library.
"Mother."
"Do not fear. Cassandra and I will kill this outsider. Just stay here and read your books."
Daniela sniffled, more tears flooding her eyes.
"H-he murdered Bela…"
"Daniela," Alcina swallowed. "You must be strong. We will grieve for her later, but for now I need you to be brave. You must be."
"Yes, Mother."
Alcina leaned forward, kissing her daughter on the cheek and forehead.
"I will return for you soon…"
She ducked through the doorway and stared back at her daughter for a minute. Tears once again threatening to overtake her as she stared at Daniela. Never would she have thought this would happen. Of all the threats they had faced and conquered, who would have thought a simple man-thing could cause such turmoil.
He will pay. Oh, yes. He will suffer terribly agony.
{-}
"Mother!"
Daniela!
She got to the library as fast as she could. The bastard! The bastard had gotten in!
Daniela… hold on. Just hold on, dearest. She could feel her. The racing of her heart. Both the fear and anger as she clashed with him.
Ethan Winters…
She was going up the stairs when everything fell silent.
"Daniela! Daniela?"
There was no answer.
She ducked through the doorway of the library and nearly dropped to her knees. Grabbing hold of a bookshelf for support, she stared at the remains of her Daniela.
"Mother?"
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
"Daniela…," Alcina placed a kiss to her forehead. "I love you, too."
The memory caused angry tears to spill down her face. Images of her Daniela in the nursery painting. Her beautiful smile. Oh yes. That smile. How happy she was to be alone with her arts and books.
"Damn it…" Her rage boiling.
She screamed, picking up a bookshelf and tossing it across the room. Books flying and littering the floor. The bookshelf collapsed and in pieces, but there was one other item that floated to the floor.
It was one of Daniela's sketches of she, Alcina.

"Mother… Mother can you hear me?"
Alcina stopped.
"Cassandra."
She was scared. Her voice so faint.
"I failed."
"Cassandra leave the armory. Let him go for now and regroup with me in the Main Hall. We will strike him down together."
A long pause.
Alcina's chest constricting with agony upon the silence.
Her huntress…
"No…, Mother." Her voice barely above a whisper, but so calm. So sure. "I am done."
"Cas-Cassandra! Do as I say." She swallowed thickly, the rage and sadness colliding tightly in her throat. She would rip down the entire wall to get to her daughter. "Do not leave me. Please." Alcina released a heavy sob, placing a hand over her eyes as the tears slipped down her face.
She was gone, too.
She wandered the castle, numbly. Searching for him still. She would not cease. Not until he was dead. Not until his head was hers.
Slam!
She halted.
Standing in the Main Hall, she focused her attention towards the double doors leading to the Entrance Hall.
"Fool."
She stormed through the doors and into the room, but found no one. Perhaps the rat bastard had scurried back up to the roof using the elevator again.
"No matter. He will have to come back down sooner rather than later." She turned away, but her attention fell to the portrait of her children. Vengeful tears pooling in her orbs once again. "My darlings. My beautiful darlings." She touched each face. Trailing her pointer finger along their faces.
Rain trickled down from the heavens. Gently pattering against the castle. Alcina stood over by the window and watched the rain fall. She always enjoyed listening to the sound of raindrops, but on this night she was not listening to that. No, something else was stirring in the room.
Alcina walked away from the window, approaching the beds when all three blinked their eyes open. Yellow eyes. Just like her own. Innocent faces staring up at her like newborns. Following her every movement. She chuckled. The joy overwhelming her to the point she could not speak.
She approached each girl one by one; carefully picking them up in her arms and kissing them.
"Mother," they all chirped, wanting to receive more of her affections. The sound was bliss to her ears, and she did not deny them.
It had taken her a long time to decide which names would suit them. Alcina had gotten to work on reading through her family history and uncovering three very influential and strong relatives.
'They will carry these names with pride," Alcina had thought. 'My blood. Their blood flows through the girls' veins. They will become just as great. Just as mighty.'
A strange Deja-vu overcoming her. She had been in this moment before. Yes, how many years ago had it been? Alcina standing alone. Fredric, Josie and then Helena had been taken. Just like now… Bela, Daniela, and her dear Cassandra.
"I am the last of the Dimitrescu…" she said in Romanian, lowering her hand and clenching her fingers into fists. "The twin swords. Feminine power. The women of House Dimitrescu are not to be taken blithely…"
