Morning had finally arrived for the city of Warfang, one of the longest and darkest day's in it's long history coming to an end for many of it's resident's. When a certain black dragoness awoke she felt oddly refreshed, beyond just that wonderful feeling of a good night's sleep, she felt oddly full of energy, it was as if the ancestor's had blessed her with a massive burst of strength as she would probably describe it. When she had gathered the necessary effort to remove herself from her bed, she snatched the dungeon key she had borrowed from Volteer the previous day off a nightstand. As it was morning she was in fact still somewhat half asleep, so when she had walked towards the door, she almost didn't blink when she had rather than opening the obstacle, instead allowed a feeling of calm to wash over her as her midnight black scales which one would not believe could be any darker began to shift, becoming almost indistinguishable from the shadows caused by the barely rising sun. Next she knew her scales returned to their natural shade and she was on the other side of the door now.

She blinked twice, and looked at the closed door behind her before look left and right. Realization dawning on the dark dragoness, she gasped and proceed to leap over to the door a few room's down from hers and rapidly rapped her paw against it for a moment or two. When the door opened about 1 a minute or so after she had practically been bangin it off it's hinges, the still very sleep face of Spyro emerged. "Cynder?" He yawned rubbing a closed eye with his paw. "What are you doing up so early and why are you trying to break my door down?" He queried. The black dragoness was excited beyond belief her mana was already coming back and with it her element's. "Ok so I woke up just a few minutes ago right?" She quickly spoke with a speed that would give volteer a headache. "I guess yeah?" Spyro agreed somewhat confused by his friend's excitement, his dragonfly sibling in the room still trying to sleep simply covered his head with a small scroll that was on the table in Spyro's room.

"So I walked out my door just now, and...?" She ended abruptly as if waiting for him to say something, though now he was more confused than before. Eventually his baffled face was noticed by Cynder at which point she simply decided to show rather than tell. Channelling what little mana she could feel at the moment, she inhaled a deep breath of air, further confusing the purple dragon, before she exhaled, hard. A high power stream of air blowing rightin his face as he was met with a light blast from her wind element. The air current slipping past him and blowing Sparx and the scroll he was using as cover off the desk with a yelp, as he settled on the ground below he simply decided to return to his slumber where he now lie on the floor.

Spyro was at first suprised by the sudden gust of air, and then his mind clicked and a broad smile crossed his features, Cynder's previous excitement making sense now. "Cynder you have your mana back! Thats amazing!" He praised much ti the pleasure of the dragoness in question. Cynder simply tilted her head up cockily and soaked in the praise, before she rurned back to look the purple male in the eye again. "What about you? try to use one of your element's." Spyro did so promptly choosing to try and exhale some cold air from his maw using his ice element. He breathed in deep allowing a cold feeling to grow within his lungs, and turned to face away from Cynder, before exhaling lightly as a cold mist billowed forth from his jaws, small particles resembling snow flakes accompanying it. Spyro was overjoyed beyond belief, he and Cynder could already feel the mana returning to them, quickly too in fact.

That joy was short lived however, as Spyro suddenly had a thought, if their mana had already started to return, then by that logic Malefor must have already gotten his strength back. "Cynder we need to go check on Malefor, NOW!" Cynder must have picked up on Spyro's exact thought because her expression also became one of worry as she nodded her head, before thr two of them zipped down the hall towards the dungeon.

Morning had come, Malefor was sure of that, even though he could not see the sunlight from down here, he always had a relatively reliable internal clock. When he awoke to find a rather soft gray blanket wrapped around him he was... Suprised to say the least. He was unsure who would have given it too him other than one of his two visitors from the previous night, though which one was responsible he could not say for certain. As he had this thought he like the night before heard the sound of quick footsteps from down the hall before he folded the soft fabric and tucked it against the back wall. Just as he turned back to face his visitor's, they had practically slid into veiw of the cage, their faces wide eyed and awake.

Before Malefor could even consider making a remark at their haste in returning, Spyro slammed his paws against the bar's rather abruptly his expression shocked and almost seemed upset. "YOU'VE HAD YOUR MANA THIS ENTIRE TIME HAVEN'T YOU!?!" He shouted rather loudly, so loudly it was a suprise the entire city hadnt heard him. Malefor winced at the volume and already knowing it served him no purpose to lie to the young drake admitted the truth. "Yes i have been feeling my mana return for quite a while now, though it happened far quicker than I had previously anticipated."

Malefor began to stretch out his wing's and tail working the sleep out of all his limbs. "Im curious how did you come ti that conclusion so suddenly if you dont mind my asking that is?" Spyro lowered his voice but he maintained a slightly offensive stance so as to not appear off guard. "We both got our mana back just this morning, I figured since we lost our mana at the same time youd probably have yours back by now as well, am I right?" Malefor smirked at the clever drake. "Your half right, the main reason my mana is returning so quickly is because I am older than you, and the older a dragon gets the larger their mana pool becomes, and the quicker it regenerates. This goes triple for purple dragon's and for black dragons like you as well Cynder." Spyro was curious about this new information and opted to ask another question. "So the older we get the stronger we become?" Malefor nodded in response before replying. "That's right, and in case you were not aware Spyro and Cynder, we dragon's are creatures of magic, thus we do not die of old ageclike other flesh and blood creatures." This caused two pair's of eye's to widen.

Cynder spoke up next. "Wait so no matter how old we get, we wont ever die so long as we aren't killed?" The dark drake nodded his head in response, before he glanced at the blanket folded behind him. He soon decided to simply ask the two other teen's which one was responsible for providing him with the small gift the other night. Just as Spyro and Cynder were about to walk away they heard the voice of the dark lord once more. "By the way If you dont mind my asking, which of you was the one to provide me this bed sheet last night?" Spyro was confused for a moment before that confusion became slight suprise, as knowing he had not come back down here the previous night, he glanced at Cynder who had stopped walking as well.

The black dragoness turned back to face the former tyrant a neutral expression upon her visage. "That was me. You told us what you knew when we asked, I was just being fair considering I did forget to bring you a towel before we left, so it was my fault you were cold." Malefor simply nodded in understanding, knowing fully well it was a rarity for Cynder to be kind as opposed to her usual cunning and short tempered self. "Well regardless as to why you did it thank you, it was much appreciated." The dragoness gave her own nod in response before turning to walk away, Spyro falling shortly behind her.

As they left the dungeon Spyro suggested to Cynder that they go see Volteer to return the key before he got into any trouble for giving it to them in the first place. The black dragoness promptly agreed, as they then began to make their way towards the library where they assumed the electric guardian would likely spend his free time. As they entered the very tall and large circular room which was lined with walls of books on every side, they witnessed the very yellow drake they had been seeking examining a scroll on one of the several table's in the room.

Volteer raised his eye's briefly from his scroll just in time to see the two young dragon's enter his library, a wide smile now adorning his face. "Spyro, Cynder what brings you to my library this fine morning my friend's?" He exclaimed chipper as ever. Both dragon's smiled at the good mood of the guardian, the chipper attitude being a tad infectious.

Cynder placed the key ring which had been dangling from her bladed tail up till now upon the table next to Volteer's scroll. "Just wanted to return the key is all, thank you for letting us borrow it." She expressed, grateful. Volteer nodded his head in understanding picking up the key ring before placing it in the pack that just like yesterday adorned his neck, before he turned to his young friend's with a question. "Were you able to gleam any relevant information from Malefor last night?" He spoke softly, in case Cyril or Terrador, or ancestor's forbid anyone else lurking nearby.

Spyro nodded and repsonded. "We learned some thing's yea, we asked him about why Cynder would already have a connection to Convexity but he said he didn't know anything beyond she was always like that." Cynder spoke next. "We...also asked him about his connection to Terrador and we...learned a lot about why Malefor became the dark master, and honestly before I had hated him but now i kinda just feel bad for him..." This caught the full attention of the yellow drake. "I really don't want to pry for concern of agrivating Terrador for poking at his past but I must ask, what caused you to feel...bad for him?" For the next few hour's Spyro and Cynder filled the electric guardian in on all they heard from Malefor, though they opted to leave out the fact he had regained his mana in order to spare everyone further stress at the thought of the dark master suddenly going berserk. Volteer sat there quite stunned. "This is...troubling to say the least."

He continued. "If what you speak of is true than well I would certainly reason, that Malefor is not as to blame as we would like to believe." He looked down in thought before speaking once more. "On one claw we cannot simply forgive and forget, but at the same time... To condemn him for act's that were to be completly honest not in his total control at the time. It would be horrible and wrong. Simply immoral, especially when we take into account Cynder has done so much to help us since her return." Spyro nodded in agreement before responding. "So what can we do about it, it's not like we can defend him during trial, that wouldn't go well I'd imagine, right?" He almost joked though at that moment he saw the gears turning within Volteer's head.

A moment later the electric guardian spoke. "Techincaly speaking if enough of us opt for Malefor to receive a lesser sentence, we could spare his life, and the knowledge he possesses would be invaluable to us all." Both dragons immeadilty picked up on what the youngest guardian was hinting at, before Cynder spoke up. "What can we do to help?" Spyro was somewhat suprised by Cynder's eagerness to assist, considering if anyone here should hate Malefor, she would be very high on the list as far as reasons go but he didn't have a problem with sparing the life of the older purple drake, having him around as he is could actually prove to be a boon for warfang in fact.

Volteer simply shook his head in response to their offer to assist directly but responded with an alternative. "Allow me to worry about coming up with a compelling argument for our purple friend's supposed innocence in terms of the past event's, what you can do to help is get him to go along with it, if he himself doesn't plead innocence there will be a lot less we are able to do." He glanced at the scroll he was reading when they had entered, before rolling it up and handing it to Spyro. "But that can wait at least for a little while there won't be a trial until Warfang has returned to a stable condition and the more everyone is able to help the better, so if you two would do me a favor and take this scroll to your cheetah friend hunter who will be over by the east wall. Once there I would like you to also be prepared to greet some of Warfang's returning resident's. There are multiple groups of dragon's slowly making their way to warfang now that the war is over. It'd be in your best interest to greet them personally when able as the more friend's we have among the masses the better, as more will trust our judgment when we defend Malefor at the trial. Also it's simply a good chance for you two to begin making some new friend's and to show everyone that they will be safe here."

Both dragon's nodded in response, Spyro taking the scroll in his paw. Volteer handing him a small carrying bag like his own for Spyro to wear. The purple dragon swiftly fastening the strap of the leather bag around his neck, allowing it to hang against his shoulder. He nodded promptly before he and Cynder left the guardian to himself. Once they were down the hall a way away from the library the purple drake let out a light chuckle causing his companion to cast a raised brow at the sudden sound. When Spyro realised Cynder was staring at him he spoke. "Sorry it's a little funny you know? We worked so hard just to defeat the dark master, and now we're trying to save his life. It's a little silly how crazy our lives are huh Cynder?" He chuckled again. Cynder smiled in agreement before responding. "Yea we're pretty crazy ourselves though so it shouldn't come as too much of a suprise that trouble and chaos follows us like a magnet."

Her expression turned a little serious however, before she continued. "I just hope we're able to pull this thing off Spyro... I know it doesn't make much sense that I want to help him but..." Spyro interrupted her train of thought. "Nah you don't have to say anything, I get it you were in a similar place after all, not in control of yourself but still aware." He continued still. "He doesn't really seem like a bad person honestly, he actaully seems like a really compassionate guy just...got dealt a real bad hand and didn't know what to do with it at the time."

After leaving the dragon temple from the front entrance, they took to the sky and began the short flight towards the eastern wall where Volteer had said hunter would be. As they flew in the night before the city had been eerily silent, but now it was full of the sound of construction. A multitude of cheetah's, mole's and even the occasional dragon all working together to help rebuild the damaged building's. Soon however they arrived at the wall which despite the siege had been fixed up rather quickly and quite well, thanks to the combined effort of mole's and some talented earth dragon's.

Upon a quick survey of the wall they spotted a familiar golden coat decorated with black spots, they promptly landed nearby calling out to the young cheetah as they touch down on the stone. "Hunter!" Spyro exclaimed catching the attention of his friend who then quickly ran over to meet his draconic allie's. "Spyro and Cynder so glad to see you too made it back safe and sound, tell me when did you return?" He asked, voice full of joy at seeing his new friend's unharmed. Cynder responded first "We just got back last night, and what a night it has been" she joked glancing at Spyro knowingly. Spyro nodded and retrieved the scroll from the bag around his neck, before handing it to the cheetah. "Volteer asked us to give this to you, also said we should be here to meet some of the returning dragon's do you know when the new group's will be arriving Hunter?" He asked, as the cheetah went over the scroll his eye's scanning it's contents before rolling it up and placing it inside his pouch. "Your just in time actaully they should be arriving in just a few moment's or so, one of my falcons just recently returned with a message from one of them just before you arrived." He explained walking over to the edge of the wall facing the outside of the city before placing a hand above his eye's to scan the horizon. "Aha in fact I believe that would be them now." He said pointing to multiple black shapes on the horizon in the sky that upon closer inspection were coming in their direction.

When the shapes revealed to be dragon's got much closer both Spyro and Cynder saw a multitude of different elemental user's, mostly fire dragon's, a couple earth, and one or two ice dragons. They all began to land upon the wall as soon as they noticed the two young hero's. Cynder noticed that most of them were looking at Spyro with awe, a few seemed to be looking at her the same but she could also feel the occasional unpleasant stare every now and then. Spyro stepped forward to greet them, Cynder close by his side. "Hello everyone welcome to-" he was interrupted by a young male fire dragon with red scales and golden horns and underbelly as well as a pointed tailtip. Oddly enough he seemed to be the oldest of the group despite his close age to Spyro and Cynder "Are you really the one who defeated Malefor?... All by yourself?" He questioned the purple drake suddenly. Spyro stuttered a little frazzled at havinf been interrupted and praised so highly though he quickly collected himself. "Um to answer your question Mister...?" He waited on a response. The male replied quickly with a kind smile and walked forward before outstrecthing a paw towards Spyro. "Forget the mister stuff, just call me Flame." Spyro smiled lightly before shaking Flame's claw with his own.

The fire drake briefly glanced at Cynder his gaze hovering over her for a moment before he turned his head over his shoulder and looking back at the group of young dragon's who had arrived with him before slightly shouting. "What are you all standing around for?!? Head over to the temple and see about where everyone's gonna be staying." He spoke with such authority that Spyro almost wanted to listen. Flame turned back to Cynder when the crowd had dispersed. "Sorry bout that, Anyway you must be Cynder right?" He asked. "Depends on who's asking?" She remarked with a raised brow, thought Flame only smirked in response before replying. "Well I'm asking cause I've already met the guy who fought Malefor for the fate of the whole world, now I'm hoping to get to meet the one who helped him do it, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find her would you?" He joked, looking around as if to find someone. Cynder narrowed her eye's as if she were examining him before she allowed one of her paws to raise off the ground and extend it toward the fire drake. Flame gladly took her claw and gave it a firm shake. "Look I get that you might not trust people much I don't blame ya. But after everyone heard how you fought the dark master with Spyro, a lot of people aren't actaully holding a lot to you, that's not to say some won't harbor a grudge though." Cynder nodded in understanding with a small smile before replying. "It was a pleasure to meet you Flame, hopefully we can hang out some time." The fire dragon responded with a grin and left with one more response before he took to the skies and soared toward the temple. "I'll hold ya to that!!" He shouted back at them.

After the newly acquainted Flame had departed for the temple, Spyro and Cynder opted to explore the city a bit now that it wasn't under siege anymore. They bid Hunter farewell for the time being before leaping from the wall and taking flight toward the central area of the city where a market was already seemingly up and running, with a blacksmith at one end, some knick knack stalls, and even what looked like a jeweler or two. As they landed and began to walk around they got the occasional stare from group's of different species, most were looking at the two hero's with pride and awe just like before however there seemed to be a few creature's glaring dagger's at the black dragoness. They continued walking for a while, Cynder at one point stopping to peruse one of the jewel seller's, a small golden scepter with an oval shaped gem adorned with red spots atop it catching her eye, Cynder made a joke that Spyro would make a good looking king with it. Another stall had various pieces of artwork, Spyro simply glanced at one of the paintings which depicted a creature that seemed to resemble a short and stubby mole with a large horn atop it's head, dressed in what appeared to be some fancy robes. The purple dragon felt uneasy looking at the painting and decided to move on with Cynder in tow. At one point the duo were almost stopped by a creature they had never seen before, it was male judging by it's voice and it was coated in large amounts of brown fur and was adorned with a tuxedo and a monocle. The creature approached the two dragons, bearing a wide grin that gave off an unpleasant feel. It spoke in a pompous tone that simply rubbed Spyro and Cynder the wrong way. "Why hello there my scaled comrades can I interest the two of you in this fabulous set of emerald studded necklaces he said holding two golden chain's with green gemstones in front of their faces. Cynder sensing a scam quickly spoke up. "No thanks were good, have a nice day!, she speedily answered before zipping off with Spyro in tow.

As they left the market and began making their way on foot back to the temple they passed by mutliple building's that were in the process of being fixed up, a few of which seemed to be restaurants that served an assortment of meals, aswell as some other shop's that had many more wares than the humble market from before. Spyro made a note to come back here later with Cynder if they got the chance. About 30 minutes of walking and sightseeing later, the duo finally arrived back at the temple where there were now an assortment of dragon's wandering about. As they managed to slip past all the other dragon's undetected by some miracle and through the occasional use of Cynder's shadow element to cast some darkness over them in a few hall's they found there way to an emptier part of the temple. Cynder groaned aloud before mumbling. "By the ancestor's if I'd known it'd be this damn hard to get around without being pestered the whole damn time, I MIGHT HAVE STAYED THE TERROR OF THE SKIES AFTER ALL!!" Cynder yelled exasperated by the amount of time's they had been stopped in the hall's on the way here until Cynder having enough opted to sneak past everyone else. Spyro could only nod in agreement and pant a bit as he had begun to sweat from all the running around they had done, when a thought entered his mind. "Hey Cynder?" The black dragoness perked up at the sound of her name. "Yea?" Spyro gestured down the hall before stating. "Now that we're back and not being hounded maybe we should go talk to..." He looked left and right to make sure no one was in the hall with them. "you know who" he whispered. Cynder quirked a brow for a moment before she realised who he was referring to, nodding in agreement. "We'll need to get the key from Volteer, maybe he's still in the library." She repsonded. "Let's go check" Spyro reasoned.

When the duo arrived at the library they entered just as Cyril was exiting the room in question. The ice dragon quirked a brow upon noticing the two teens. "Hmm Spyro, Cynder can I help you two with something? You seem to be in a rush." Spyro responded politely. "Uh no thank's Cyril we're just here to see Volteer is he here?" The ice dragon shook his head, "I'm afraid not Spyro, he had some business to attent to it seem's, he ran out of here in quite a hurry not long ago scribbling down note's and muttering to himself all the way, I'm not certain when he'll be back but if I spot him I'll let him know your looking for him." "Thank you Cyril." Spyro bowed his head in respect for the ice dragon. Cynder simply nodded in agreement preferring not to say anything to the ice dragon, as she never really got along with him to begin with. She had always found him rather pompous and annoying. With that out of the way Cyril left and went to do his own business elsewhere. Cynder sighed. "Now what are we gonna do we can't get in without the key?" Spyro rubbed his chin in thought before he had a brilliant idea. "Cynder we don't need a key we have you remember? You can use your shadow element to get inside and unlock the door from there." Cynder processed what her purple friend just said before proceeding to slap her paw over her head in disappointment at her own short sightedness. "How the hell did I forget I could do that...?" Spyro chuckled in amusement as his friend berated herself, before setting off in the direction of the dungeon, Cynder following close behind.

When they arrived at the door to the depths of the temple, Cynder used her shadow element to transform her body into a black murky form that slinked into the floor and under the door. Spyro waited outside for a moment before a click was heard and the door creaked open, Cynder poked her head out from behind the frame and in a humorous raspy voice spoke. "What's the password young dragon, choose correctly and you shall enter." The purple drake snickered at her antics before rubbing his chin in mock thought eventually responding. "Is the password please?" He smiled hopefully. The black dragoness rolled her eye's and opened the door fully to allow her friend to pass by. "No the password was Cynder is a genius, of course." She said as she shut and locked the door behind them before descending the steps once again alongside her purple friend.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs and began walking down the hall they overheard a clicking type of sound emanating from within the cell at the end. When they found themselves in front of the dark violet scaled dragon, they were suprised to see he was no longer alone in the cell, now as he sat with his back to the wall left of them with a small dragon shaped stone like creature that had four legs, a tail, and no wings. The creature also possesd several very small bright purple crystals poking from it's shoulders, head, and its back. The creature noticed their presence and tilted it's head before making a sort of chittering sound by rubbing the rock's of it's body together. Spyro was in awe at this fascinating creature before him. "Is that...a golem?" He asked curiously moving closer to the cell. Malefor smirked and nodded before he picked up the small creature in a claw before lifting it towards the purple drake. "Go on you cam hold him, he doesn't have a mouth to bite you with, but he's harmless I assure you." He offered.

Spyro more than happy to have a chance to look at the small golem gently held the creature in his claws, admiring it's detailed shape and smooth stony texture. He lifted his other claw to rub it's stone head, the creature glancing at his limb before leaning it's little face into his paw affectionately. Spyro could only chuckle in amazement at the artificial life in his claws. He soon saw Cynder was equally mesmerized by the tiny construct, so he offered the small creature for her to hold, she almost hesitated for a moment seemingly afraid that if she touched the creature it would break like glass. When Malefor saw this he nodded his head at her and reassured her with kind words. "You can touch it cynder it won't break i assure you." He spoke softly, hoping to soothe her worries. It seemed to work for the black dragoness who tentatively opened her paws to accept the small golem into them.

When the golem hopped onto her extended paws, she had expected it's rocky surface to feel cold but to her delight it was shockingly warm to the touch, the crystals upon it's body pulsating in a pattern almost like a heartbeat. "It's beutifal, adorable in fact..." She spoke softly as it nuzzled one of her fingers. Malefor having distracted the two dragon's for long enough soon decided to remind them they must have likely had a reason for coming down here. He reached out a paw to Cynder in a silent request for the golem to be returned. Cynder tentatively held her paws through the bar's to allow the creature to return to it's creator's red hued talons. The brief contact of scales on scales as her paws came into contact with his sent a slight chill down her spine.

The creature coiled it's lengthy body like a ferret around Malefor's shoulder and neck, then the dark purple dragon gazed back at his two constant visitor's. "So there must be a reason for your visit this time as well yes?" He inquired. Spyro nodded his head and repsonded. "We came here to talk to you about the upcoming trial that your gonna have soon." Malefor quirked a brow at this before asking "I don't see what there is to talk about when I'm simply going to admit guilt for my crimes." Cynder spoke next. "That's why we want to talk to you, we want you to plead your innocence at the trial."

Malefor was speechless for a few moment's his eye's looking all over the place in confusion as his mind raced. A brief chill went up his spine as he felt his scarred muzzle tingle, a quiet voice in his head whispering "don't fall for it they just want to make you vulnerable~" before they refocused and gazed forward once more. He sighed. "And please explain to me why I should do that?" Cynder responded immediatly. "Because you don't deserve to be punished so harshly for something that was way out of your control, your a victim of all this prohecy nonsense too, it was the whole reason that you were made vulnerable to Convexity to begin with."

Again the voice spoke to him. "If you believe them then they will only betray you later on, you really think she wants to help you after you took her childhood away from her~" The dark violet drake responded curtly. "I disagree strongly I was simply too weak I was a fool who pushed his friend's away and payed the price for it. Beside's even if I am myself now there is always the chance i will fall prey to darkness once more in the future, and I do not have anyone to anchor me like you two have your friend's."

Cynder bit her lip for a moment, before responding adamantly. "If you don't have friend's then let me and Spyro be there for you, let us be your friend's Malefor." The purple dragon was suprised that Cynder was so adamant on helping him he was beyond touched by her compasion, but again the voice attempted to sway him. "If you think she would ever be your friend then you have got another thing coming Mal,~" The voice spoke once more almost angry at the thought of being bested. But as Malefor gazed at the black dragoness who had shown him more kindness than he believed he was deserving of and to her right was the purple dragon who alongside her freed him from the cold grasp of darkness, he felt...something he hadn't felt in a very long time.

Spyro gasped as he witnessed something he never expected to see in his life, he watched on as Malefor began to cry. long tears falling from his eye's which had shut tightly as his face had turned to the side in a futile attempt to hide his emotions. the small golem upon his shoulder chittering softly and nuzzling it's creator's cheek. Spyro watched as Cynder took a tentative step forward and grabbing Spyro by the claw allowed herself to phase into darkness between the bar's taking the purple dragon with her into the cell.

Malefor wanted to block out these emotions, they were just too painful. Just as he thought he couldn't take much more, he was suddenly shocked to feel a warm embrace envelop him. His double hued eye's jolted open only to be met with the shocking sight of both Cynder and Spyro wrapping their arm's and both their wing's around him in a gentle embrace. He could still hear the voice from before trying to get into his mind, but it was so distant and quiet now that he paid it no heed. He knew now what this feeling was...it was the feeling of being loved by another. He allowed a shaky breath to exit his lungs, before he spoke softly to the two hero's who had not only managed to free his mind and body from torment, but now have begun to crack open his long since stone heart. "Thank you" he whispered. A slight squeeze to reassure him it was ok almost made him shed more tears.

"I'll do it for you guy's"

WHOOO BOI... This was a doozy for me to write and a fun one at that. props btw to any who might have recognized the cameos at the market hehehe make sure to keep it a secret for yourselves btw until next time ;)
