A/N:Please do not give reviews that say that the story is short. I know, and I'm working on it.And ( ) means thought speech.
My name is Michael. My friends call me Mike. I can't tell you my last name, or where I live. Not even my phone number. I can bet my allowance that this sounds familiar. Anyway, let me start from the beginning.
"...the mitochondria are spherical rod-shaped organelles with double membranes. They produce energy for the cell. For your cell city project, the mitochondrion can represent a power plant, which produces energy." The teacher droned on.
"And that concludes today's lesson on cells. I hope that all of you will finish up the cell city assigment by next Tuesday." That got a groan out of everyone. Another day, another 5 hours of homework.
It was another busy Thursday.I was just about to head to McDonalds when I saw the others.
"Hey Jason. What's up?"
"More like what's down."He replied. I raised an eyebrow at him."My project. I left it on the shelf and when I came from recess it was on the floor, shattered into a million pieces." He handed me a plastic bag. Inside it were fragments of glass, plastic and some recycled materials. "You finshed the project early?"I asked.
"My mom forced me to finish it Yesterday."he replied."And when she knows about this, she going to say about how I should've been careful and put it somewhere safe and blah blah blah."
"Well, I still have a couple of extra material at my house, maybe you could come over this Saturday." I suggested."Want to go to McDonalds?"
"Sure, I'm really hungry."
