This is something I should've done years ago. Meaning an author's note about publishing the sequel fic, something that many authors do... In my hubris I assumed that people were automatically subscribing myself in addition to my fics. Something that I do get many email alerts about.

So in short. There is already a sequel fic on-going and at its eigth chapter. It's on a bit of hiatus atm as I have many other projects and inspiration comes and goes. In addition to that, as many of you might know, I'm currently more active on AO3 and publish my newer work there.

My move over to AO3 has caused though that I even though I attempted, I never really got to get into the rhythm of replying via PMs to reviews... and my assumption that people would automatically find the sequel meant that I never even tried to reply to the reviews left to the previous chapter. For that I apologize. I apologize all the misconceptions and feelings of abandonment that my actions may or may not have caused to you. I only woke to this relization when receiving a guest review with questions that I wanted to reply to but had no way to do so. Thank you for that Mooni.

So without further ado, let's have the final Replies to Reviews of this fic to all the reviews I received to the previous chapter:

- Vivian Grey:
I think Masumi does vaguelly know about the impromptu adoption but in the grand-scheme of things it was pushed back and Shinichi and Ran took more attention in her memory of the beach. I'm glad you've liked my OCs and the way I went to incorporate Haibara's BO sense. I hope to see you over the sequel as well!

- Zeladious:
You I know have migrated on. See ya in the next chapter whenever I'll write it.

- Hellfire000:
I never did that flowchart. I really should. It would help myself in keeping things in check. I've been more interested in filling out Kagemiya-Midorikawa family tree... That you've probably seen...

-Shion Lee:
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope if you ever read the sequel, it will make things more clear...

- DredgenVayn:
Conan has so much on his plate that his thoughts fixate on one thing in the exclusion of else at the moment. He will need to have time to parse through everything before noticing all the details. That and I totally forgot that should be a thing as well.

- CureCaligraphy:
Your previous review... *search* Yes, indeed. Tsukiko is going through a lot and the informational bombs dropped in her lap by fragmented memories and Shugo are not helping the matter.

- BubbleBellarina:
Thank you! I'm really glad to hear that! I hope you like the sequel!

- mooni (guest):
Thank you very much reviewing. Without you, I would've never done this author note and fixed this error in my judgement. Anyhow... Like I said above, The sequel is up with eight chapters already. It goes by the name Leaping into the Dream, which is a mash-up from the names of this fic and Shugo's spin-off Leap to Relatively Unknown. Tsukiko is not blood-related to Akai family though... let's say it was a close call and you can read more about that in the sequel. I do am waiting for more info on them but I pretty much have enough that I can vaguelly swim through the next couple of dozen chapters... I just need more inspiration and drive to actually write them out...
I'm doing well and I hope you'll like the sequel fic and Shugo's story as well!

This Author Note is about to end here. Do not review this chapter, I won't answer. Do not subscribe this fic as this will be the last addition ever to this. Move over to the sequel and spin-off or to AO3 where comment system is much better and I can reply to you directly also on anon/guest.

Goodbye and see you again in my other fics. Thank you for reading and lending patience to me. Any review that I get, fills me joy even after all these years.
