Dr. Eggman: "Can we race?".
Sonic and friends: "No".
Dr. Eggman: "Pretty please?".
Sonic and friends: "Okay".
Chris: "Hey, Shadow. Can I come with you?".
Shadow: "No".
Chris: "Pretty please?".
Shadow: "Whatever".
Dr. Eggman: "Hey, guys, I'm here to give you good luck on the race and TOTALLY not here to sabotage you in the long run".
Sonic and friends: "Uhh...Okay...That was weird".
Chris: "Hey, Shadow? Do you remember me?".
Shadow: "No".
Chris: "Are you sure?".
Shadow: "Positive".
Chris: "...But-".
Shadow: "I don't know you, and I don't like you! Now leave me alone!".
Chris: "...".
(World's smallest violin plays in the background while Chris cries silently)
Dr. Eggman: "Alright, boys! Time to cheat!".
(Decoe swipes the green Chaos Emerald with the fishing rod)
Amy and Cosmo: "Hey!".
(As they hold fishing rods, Decoe swipes the blue Chaos Emerald from the X-Tornado while Bocue swipes the white Chaos Emerald from Knuckles' butt)
Sonic: "Hey!".
Knuckles: "YOWOHOW! HEY!".
Dr. Eggman: "Just win the race! Just win the race! Just win! Just win! Just win the race!".
Knuckles: "Want to screw Eggman over?".
Sonic: "Boy, do I!".
THROW!
WHOOSH!
Sonic: "I believe I can-! Oh, wait, I can't sing the lyrics here".
(Sonic snatches the Chaos Emeralds from Dr. Eggman)
Dr. Eggman: "What?! How did I lose?!".
(Sonic lands on Dr. Eggman's hovercraft)
CLANK!
Sonic: "By being an idiot!".
(Sonic boosts away, making Dr. Eggman and his hovercraft fall)
BOOST!
Dr. Eggman: "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!".
(Bocue quickly saves everyone and himself, and they all looked down at Knuckles)
Knuckles: "And I hate you!".
Dr. Eggman: "I HATE YOU TOO!".
(Sonic arrives at the top of the central base)
Sonic: Geez! What's with all the hatred down there?!".
CRASH!
(Amy quickly gets out of her spaceship at lighting speeds)
Amy: "Revenge hug!".
(Amy quickly lunges at Sonic and hugs him very, very tightly)
Sonic: "NOOOOO! HUG! OF! DEATH!".
Dark Oak: "Stop the romance! You're all making me sick!".
Sonic: "Oh, thank goodness, Dark Oak! You saved me!".
Dark Oak: "I am not your savior! I am your killer!".
Sonic: "Whatever".
Dark Oak: "Now prepare to face your demise, Player Four. Your time has now come".
(Sonic and Dark Oak get into their battle poses)
Sonic: "Dramatic tension!".
Shadow: "Pointless running scene!".
Chris: "I HATE EVERYTHING!".
Sonic: "More dramatic tension! Once more with feeling!".
[And Now, Back To Where We Last Left Off]
-Meanwhile With Tails And Cream On The Blue Typhoon-
"Woah! Look at the size of that Planet Egg!" Tails exclaimed in shock after seeing the projection screen show the video footage from Amy's wrist communicator.
"Yeah, I know! But is that a good thing or a bad thing?!" Cream exclaimed in surprise and in confusion as she stared at the screen in curiosity. Cheese chirped in confusion too as he also stared at the screen, "Chao! Chao! Chao?!".
Tails frowned solemnly as he scanned the Planet Egg with his computer. He then answered calmly with a frown, "It's definitely a bad thing, Cream. That Planet Egg isn't supposed to be that size. It's growing out of control".
"But why is it growing out of control, Tails?! I have so many questions!" Cream exclaimed back in worry as she looked concerned.
"Well, luckily for you, I have the answers! Or rather...my computer has them! It says here that the Chaos Emeralds are the ones responsible for the Planet Egg's abnormal growth! It's using the high energy that the Chaos Emeralds are producing to feed into its girth! Meaning...it'll keep feeding into them until it explodes!" Tails exclaimed solemnly with a frown as he stared at the screen while looking at the data at the side of it.
"Oh, my! That's not good! Right, Cheese?!" Cream exclaimed sadly with a worried frown as she looked at Cheese.
"Chao. Chao," Cheese chirped sadly as he looked down.
This is certainly bad. Another planet will die thanks to Metarex abusing the Chaos Emeralds' power. Cosmo will be devastated if we can't secure that Planet Egg and bring it back to its original planet. If only there was a way to stop the Chaos Emeralds from...Tails brooded calmly yet solemnly with a frown as he stared at the screen in determination.
Suddenly, the video feed was cut off, and the screen turned to static!
"Huh?! What's going on?! Where's the video feed?!" Tails exclaimed in shock and in confusion as he stared at the static screen with wide eyes.
"I don't know! Maybe Amy's wrist communicator is broken!" Cream exclaimed in worry as she stared back at the screen.
"How could it break?! I've built those communicators to be very resilient and durable! It can't just break! Not even Amy's hammer could break those things!" Tails exclaimed in annoyance with a frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he kept staring at the static screen.
"Well...If it's not broken...then maybe Amy just...turned it off herself?" Cream muttered calmly yet curiously in concern with a frown and with upward eyebrows as she looked back at Tails with her fists up.
"But why?! What reason could she-?!" Tails exclaimed in confusion and in annoyance as he looked baffled.
BLIP!
"Oh! The video feed is turned back on!" Cream exclaimed brightly with a huge smile as she looked back up at the screen. But when she saw what was shown on screen, she looked confused and worried as she yelled out, "Is that Mr. Sonic?! Why is he walking towards those poachers?!".
"Ah! Something tells me that this is an ambush! And the one behind the ambush must be that tall, dark Metarex poacher right there!" Tails exclaimed in surprise as he looked alarmed while pointing at the screen where Dark Oak is at.
"But...who is that poacher, Tails?" Cream asked slowly in confusion and in concern as she looked back at Tails.
Tails grimaced as he doesn't like where this is going. He can tell that the huge Metarex robot is no joke. The poacher looked menacing and vicious to Tails. The poacher was someone that will give Sonic a hard time if he fights him, and that thought worries Tails the most.
"...I may not know exactly who he is, but...I have a good feeling that this poacher is the leader of the Metarex. I mean! Look at that sword! Only someone with a powerful sword could be a leader of something! Not to mention that cape! It looks menacing enough to intimidate others into thinking that he's the boss! There's no doubt in my mind that Sonic is facing the boss of this game!" Tails muttered calmly yet solemnly with a frown before he exclaimed in alarm as he pointed at the screen again.
"Oh, dear...Mr. Sonic is in big trouble now..." Cream muttered sadly in worry with a frown and with upward eyebrows as she looked back up at the screen while clasping her hands together. Cheese also looked at the screen in worry too.
"...Yeah...Unfortunately..." Tails muttered sadly with a worried look on his face as he stared at the screen too. At least, Sonic can handle himself. I don't think that he'll let this poacher kill him. He's too tough for that. ...But...it doesn't make me feel less worried for him though...Tails brooded with a worried frown on his face as he kept staring at the screen. There was a moment of silence as tension and worry filled the air.
…
"...Can we get some popcorn at least?" Cream asked meekly with a little frown as she glanced back at Tails.
"Cream! This is a serious moment! We can't stuff our faces now while we watch Sonic fight those poachers alone!" Tails exclaimed solemnly with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he stared back at Cream.
"But I'll butter it for you," Cream replied calmly yet innocently with a little frown.
"..." Tails was silent for a moment with a solemn frown before he lowered his eyelids halfway as he replied calmly yet reluctantly, "...At least, give me a soda to go along with that".
"Yay! (Chao!)" Cream and Cheese cheered happily at that.
-Back With Sonic, Amy, And Cosmo-
Sonic and Dark Oak kept glaring at each other while still in their battle poses. The Metarex poachers stood beside Dark Oak like trained military guards, ready to attack at will. Amy and Cosmo stood and watched both in anxiousness and in curiosity as they wondered what will happen next.
"How much you're betting on Sonic to win this fight? I'm betting a thousand," Amy said calmly with a frown as she glanced at Cosmo while recording the situation with her wrist communicator.
"I don't care about bets. I just want this to be over already," Cosmo replied sadly in worry with a huge frown as she looked at Amy.
Amy frowned sympathetically towards Cosmo as she replied calmly, "Yeah...Me too honestly".
Soon, the girls were both surprised when they heard Sonic speak up valiantly yet impatiently, "Alright, Dark Oak! Enough with the waiting game! If there is one game that I absolutely hate, then it's waiting! Are you going to fight me or not?!".
"Hold that thought, Player Four. We need to set the ambiance for this...glorious rematch. Poacher 365, set the music. Now," Dark Oak replied calmly as he stared at Sonic before he looked at his minion and swung his sword at him in a commanding way. The Metarex poacher shrugged to this before he pressed the button that plays the music through the room's speakers.

"Ah. Much better. Now, as I was saying, your time is finally up, Player Four. I'm here to claim your corpse, and my little, poacher minions will help me do just that," Dark Oak added calmly yet menacingly as he glared back at Sonic. His poacher army walked a bit ahead of Dark Oak as he said that last part while they prepared themselves to attack Sonic.
I don't think that the music is necessary but whatever. It's time to nail this guy! Sonic thought in determination with a deeper frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he sweated a bit. He replied calmly yet solemnly with a frown, "Sending in your loyal minions to do the dirty work for you. Yeah, that's a cowardly tactic if I ever saw one".
"Not as cowardly as you will be when you're begging for your life to be spared! Poachers! Attack at once!" Dark Oak exclaimed confidently yet menacingly with a glare while he looked around at his minions and swung his sword towards Sonic for emphasis.
"Wait! Can we talk this over or something?!" Cosmo exclaimed in panic with a concerned look on her face as she pleaded to Dark Oak while clasping her hands.
"Less talking! More fighting! Now go!" Dark Oak exclaimed back coldly as he swung his sword down to the side while pointing at Sonic. His minions immediately initiated their attack by jumping towards Sonic. Sonic and the girls screamed in alarm when they saw dozens of small, brown, Metarex poachers heading towards them with their claws out. The poachers had dog-piled on top of Sonic as a way to corner him.
"Sonic! Don't suck! It's only been three seconds, and you're already sucking! Fight back!" Amy yelled in determination with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as she held Cosmo close to herself while having a fist up.
"What do you think I'm doing?! I am fighting!" Sonic yelled back in annoyance as he spun off all of the Metarex poachers by using his Spinball move. The Metarex poachers flew off from Sonic and crashed into the walls. They slid down to the floor after crashing into the walls.
"Then fight harder!" Amy yelled back in determination and in slight annoyance while more Metarex poachers were crashing into the walls and into the ground.
"Amy, you could encourage Sonic a little more...nicer..." Cosmo muttered quietly with a worried frown as she looked at Amy with a sweat drop on her head.
"Oh, relax, Cosmo. He's doing fine," Amy replied calmly yet casually with a little smile as she briefly looked at Cosmo before at Sonic and holding out a hand towards him for emphasis.
BAM! WHAM! BAM! WHAM! BAM! WHAM! BAM! WHAM!
Sonic kept spinning against the Metarex poachers and knocking them down to the ground and to the walls. Cosmo looked at Sonic and understood where Amy is coming from.
"Yeah...He's going to be okay," Cosmo muttered calmly in understanding with a little frown and with a nod while staring curiously at Sonic.
"Come on! Kill him! Kill him!" Dark Oak yelled in frustration as he glared at the pile where Sonic was underneath.
STRIKE!
As if Sonic was a bowling ball (well, in a way, he is), he then struck out the rest of the Metarex poachers by spinning upwards. All of the poachers flew across the room in multiple directions after being struck hard by Sonic's Spinball move. Amy and Cosmo cheered a little in relief as they saw that Sonic was okay. Sonic then landed back down to the ground before he quickly turned around and glared at Dark Oak while in another battle pose.
"For someone whose aim is to kill, you're pretty lousy at doing your job," Sonic taunted with a solemn frown and with a glare as he sweated a bit.
"I am not! My minions may be lacking the necessary skills to beat you, but I am very talented at my job! I have many tricks up my sleeve! Come at me if you dare!" Dark Oak exclaimed back menacingly in frustration as he glared at Sonic.
"Okay, you asked for it!" Sonic yelled back warningly with a solemn frown before he went into his Spinball Form again. Dark Oak prepares himself to do a little, dirty trick while Sonic spins towards him with his special move.
"Chaos Control!" Dark Oak exclaimed quickly as he vanishes away before Sonic had slammed him with his Spinball move. Sonic missed and flew backwards to where he had begun his attack.
After landing again, Sonic exclaimed in shock and in disbelief with a surprised look on his face, "No way! That can't be possible! He knows Chaos Control?! Only Shadow and I know how to use that move!".
"Yeah! Exactly! How would he know so much?! He only met you like twice, right?!" Amy exclaimed in shock and in confusion as she stared at Sonic while looking surprised.
Sonic looked serious again as he replied calmly with a solemn frown, "True, he has, but I could think of two possible scenarios as to why he knows that. Either A, he finally cracked down on the Chaos Emeralds' secrets, or B, we're being spied on".
"Ummm...I vote for scenario A. I mean...Umm...These emeralds were here the longest...So...They had plenty of time to know what they do...Right?" Cosmo replied calmly yet awkwardly with a worried frown as she stared at Sonic while glancing to the side a few times.
"Hmm...Seems like the case...But let's see what our poacher has to say," Sonic replied calmly yet solemnly with a frown as he briefly looked back at Cosmo before looking back upwards and around to search for Dark Oak. He continued by yelling in determination, "Yo, Darkbutt! Is this a joke or what?! How could you know how to use Chaos Control?! I didn't even use that move while I was in my Super Form! And more importantly, how did you do it without holding any emeralds in your hands?! That's what I want to know!".
"Let's just say...that we are omnipresent...Even when we're not here to fight you, our presence lingers over you while you rest...or while you plot...or while you play...Just when you think that you're safe, you're not. We're always prepared to kill you at any moment, however, like I had said before when we had first met, I like the thrill of a good hunt. So, having you to get my card was very satisfying. You could chalk it up to RNG or luck, but I like to think of it as..." Dark Oak replied calmly yet darkly in the background while his minions were on the floor before he reappeared again as he finished menacingly, "...destiny...".
The other Metarex poachers got back up and walked closer towards Sonic after Dark Oak had finished his speech. Sonic grimaced at this as he saw that the Metarex poachers weren't broken or destroyed. He's even more annoyed by the fact that Dark Oak hadn't necessarily answered his question but instead made him more worried about his friends' well-being thanks to that scary fact.
If these guys can see our every move, then they must already know about our weaknesses! Not only that but also that means that our plans into gaining information about the Metarex's plans is considered moot at that point! We're just diving headfirst into their trap! Which means...we'll always be one step behind! Shoot! Sonic brooded in annoyance with gritted teeth and with furrowed eyebrows as he glared at Dark Oak and at his minions.
"You know what? ...I'm starting to hate the game that we're in right now," Sonic commented calmly in annoyance with a solemn frown and with a sweat drop on his head as he prepares his body for battle again.
"Wow, it took you this long to finally hate it. I must say, Sonic. Your tolerance for adversity is much higher than any of the previous players who had played this game before. I have to admit that...I'm rather impressed," Cosmo replied calmly with a solemn frown as she stared at Sonic in concern.
"I know! Isn't he amazing?!" Amy cooed sweetly with an adoring look on her face as she looked at Cosmo with her hands clasped together.
"Amy! Now's not the time to be praising me! Now is the time to be helping me!" Sonic exclaimed back while he closely observes the brown, Metarex poachers closing in on him.
"Good idea!" Amy exclaimed back with a bright smile and with a nod as she pulls out her hammer while adding cheerfully, "I have a hammer!".
"Heh! I have a ring!" Sonic exclaimed back with a smirk as he pulled out his Power Ring again.
"And I...am going to stay out from this fight," Cosmo added calmly with a nervous frown and with wide eyes as she backed away while having her hands up.
"Fair enough," Sonic replied calmly with a smug smile and with half-lidded eyes as he shrugged to Cosmo in understanding. Just as soon he had finished saying that, the brown, Metarex poachers leapt at Sonic again to try to attack him.
"Oh no, you don't!" Sonic yelled back as he went back into his Spinball Form and attacked more Metarex poachers. He was able to knock away a ton of the poachers, however, they were flying past him and were heading towards Amy and Cosmo.
"Sonic! Get back! Get back! We're being surrounded!" Cosmo yelled in panic with a frightened look on her face as she tried to run away from the poachers but soon backed away from them once they had landed behind her and Amy.
"Aw, crud!" Sonic exclaimed in frustration and in worry as he quickly spun back towards the girls while knocking some poachers along the way. He finally landed back to the ground just in time for the Metarex poachers to surround them all. Cosmo was very worried as she looked around at the brown, Metarex poachers in horror.
Not again...It's just like before...Back when I...first saw them myself...Cosmo thought in horror with a frightened look on her face as her mind flashes back to her kind being destroyed completely. While she stood close towards Amy and Sonic, Amy and Sonic prepared themselves for any sudden moves that the Metarex poachers would make.
"S-S-Stand back, you c-creeps! I...I have a hammer! And I'm not afraid to use it!" Amy exclaimed nervously yet in determination with gritted teeth and with furrowed eyebrows as she held onto her hammer while looking at the Metarex poachers.
"Yeah, and I have a ring! And I'm never afraid of using it! So, you poachers better back off now or else all of you will be trashed by us!" Sonic added in determination with a solemn frown as he glared at the Metarex poachers while holding a ring with his fingers. The poachers walked a bit closer towards the trio before some of them started attack by lunging towards them.
"Okay! So, you guys chose to be trash! Fine by me!" Sonic exclaimed back in determination with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he stared up at the lunging poachers before he spun towards them. He bounced onto six Metarex poachers at a time, knocking them down to the ground, before he turned and bowled through a row of poachers.
Amy saw a couple of Metarex poachers lunging towards her and Cosmo and reacted by swinging her hammer quickly in self-defense while screaming a lot in fear.
"Aaaaaaaah! Get back! Get back! Get back!" Amy screamed in panic with closed eyes and with a grimace as she fiercely swung her hammer around to protect herself and Cosmo from the lunging poachers.
WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!
The Metarex poachers were knocked away from Amy's hammer and flew towards the ground and towards the walls again. Sonic was able to knock the poachers into walls too. He and Amy whacked and bashed the Metarex poachers while they kept lunging at them. Cosmo could only stand in fear as she watched Sonic and Amy protect her and themselves from the poachers.
BAM! BAM! WHAM! BAM! WHAM! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!
Sonic slammed into the Metarex poachers with his Spinball move while Amy whacked the poachers away with her Piko Piko Hammer. Sonic jumped into each of the poachers' heads every time he lands on them while Amy started swinging around herself to take out more poachers next to herself and Cosmo. Multiple Metarex poachers were being crushed, whacked at, and flying through the air after being attacked by Sonic and Amy.
...Boy...They're...They're so brave...Cosmo thought in admiration with a little, gaped mouth and with sparkling eyes as she watched Sonic and Amy attack the Metarex poachers while having a hand next to her mouth.
STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!
Sonic bowled through three groups of Metarex poachers with his Spinball move and stuck out all of the poachers. The defeated poachers fell towards the ground after being struck, and Sonic got out from his Spinball Form and landed back to the ground.
"(Pant Pant Pant)…(Pant Pant Pant)…" Sonic panted a lot in exhaustion while being in a battle pose as he sweated a lot. He glanced at Amy to see that she is finishing knocking out the rest of the poachers.
"Grrrrr! Now! Leave! Us! A-Lone!" Amy yelled solemnly with a growl and with gritted teeth as she smashed and bashed the remaining Metarex poachers with her hammer.
WHACK! CRASH! WHACK! CRASH! CRASH! WHACK! CRASH!
"(Pant Pant Pant)…(Pant Pant Pant)...Whew! Glad that's over..." Amy muttered tiredly in relief with a little frown as she panted and sweated a lot while lowering her hammer and wiping her brow. Sonic looked back at Dark Oak after he saw that Amy had destroyed the rest of the poachers. He can see that Dark Oak had his arms crossed as if he wasn't fazed by this at all.
Sonic smiled weakly while panting a lot and had pointed at Dark Oak as he said triumphantly, "(Pant Pant Pant)...Take...That! (Pant Pant Pant)…".
"Do you seriously think that was all of my minions? They may be weak for sure, but they are large in number. What you and Player Two had done was merely nothing. You two had destroyed only a thousandth of my army. In other words, this is not time to be celebrating," Dark Oak replied calmly yet darkly with a cold stare and with his arms crossed.
"Oh...(Pant Pant Pant)...You gotta...(Pant Pant Pant)...be kidding me..." Sonic muttered weakly with a frown and with lowered eyelids as he panted a lot.
"Don't tell me...(Pant Pant Pant)...There's more?" Amy muttered weakly with a sad frown on her face as she panted a little while looking at Dark Oak.
"Oh, yes. There's plenty of more where that came from. You can fight and fight all you want just to play the game, but eventually, you'll tire out and want to rest. Thus, in that moment...you two will be completely vulnerable to my attacks," Dark Oak replied calmly yet deviously as he uncrossed his arms and stood defiantly in front of Sonic and Amy.
"So, what you're saying here is...(Pant Pant)...This is an endurance test...(Pant Pant Pant)...Right?" Sonic replied calmly with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he panted a little.
"It most certainly is. Hahahahaha," Dark Oak answered calmly yet deviously with a dark chuckle as he watched more of his minions jump out from the shadows and land directly in front of Sonic, Amy, and Cosmo.
Sonic gritted his teeth as he looked back at Amy and warned her, "Get ready for round two, Amy! This one's gonna be a doozy!".
"Aw, crud!" Amy exclaimed in annoyance with gritted teeth and with furrowed eyebrows as she raised her hammer again while staring at the brown, Metarex poachers.
"Please, you two! Don't die! I need you!" Cosmo pleaded in concern as she looked at Sonic and Amy while having her hands clasped together.
"Easier said than done, Cosmo! But we'll try!" Sonic exclaimed back in determination with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he prepared himself for the poachers' attacks again. He grimaced as he brooded. Oh, if only Knuckles was here right now, then he'll be a HUGE help to us as we fight wave after wave of poachers. I wish that little incident with the X-Tornado didn't happen so that he could be here right now. Just where is he at after the plane had landed I wonder?
-Meanwhile With Knuckles And Dr. Eggman-
("Confrontation" is still playing in the background, but it is muffled at the moment)
Knuckles is now standing in front of Dr. Eggman after jumping up from the X-Tornado. Unsurprisingly, he's currently very ticked off.
"Confess to your sins right now!" Knuckles yelled angrily with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he glared hard at Dr. Eggman while having his fists clenched.
"Alright! Alright! I'm sorry that I had tricked you again for the third time!" Dr. Eggman apologized in a panic while looking nervous as he stared at Knuckles.
"And?!" Knuckles yelled back with a frown and with a raised eyebrow.
"And I'm sorry that I have been a lousy cheater! There! Are you happy now?!" Dr. Eggman apologized even more with a worried frown while having his hands up in mock surrender.
"No! Not unless you apologize like you give a crud!" Knuckles yelled back in irritation with gritted teeth and with furrowed eyebrows as he stomped onto Dr. Eggman's hovercraft a bit.
CLANG!
"Aaaah! Wh-Wh-What do you want me to do about it?! I'm apologizing the best that I could! It just so happens that insincerity runs through my blood!" Dr. Eggman yelled back in panic with a frightened look on his face when he felt his hovercraft move a little after that stomp.
"I don't care! You need to learn to take responsibility for your actions and sincerely apologize for them instead of running away like a coward!" Knuckles yelled back with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he placed his hands onto his hips.
"But what if I don't want to apologize for my actions?" Dr. Eggman asked in a whiny way with a sad frown and with upward eyebrows as he stared at Knuckles.
Knuckles narrowed his eyes at Dr. Eggman before he yelled angrily as he stomped again, "Then I'll have to break your face and your hovercraft to teach you the lesson instead!".
"Aaaaaah! Please don't break my face!" Dr. Eggman pleaded in panic as he screamed a little while looking terrified of Knuckles.
"And please don't break the hovercraft! I beg of you! Don't do that! Do you have any idea how high we are right now?!" Decoe pleaded in concern as he looked frightened too while staring up at Knuckles.
"Yeah! All of us could die if you break this hovercraft!" Bocue added in concern as he stared at Knuckles too with a frightened look on his face before he looked down at the abyss again and continued, "We don't even know what's down there! The animators didn't draw anything down there! It's just a black hole!".
RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
"Wooooaaah!" Dr. Eggman, Decoe, Bocue, and Knuckles screamed in panic when they felt the hovercraft rumble a lot. Knuckles fell onto his stomach due to the rumbling.
"Bocue! What did you do?!" Knuckles yelled in frustration with a deep frown as he looked concerned while laying on top of the hovercraft.
"Why are you blaming me for?! All I did was comment on how the animators didn't show any indication of ground below the abyss!" Bocue exclaimed in panic as he looked nervous.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
The four of them cringed in worry after feeling the hovercraft rumble some more. Dr. Eggman grimaced as he yelled at Bocue, "You're clearly making the animators angry with your art critiques! So, pipe down and accept what we got here!".
"(Gulp)...Okay..." Bocue muttered nervously as he made a robotic, gulping noise while holding onto Dr. Eggman.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
"(Sigh)...I'll find out what's really going on here," Knuckles muttered tiredly with a frown and with a sigh as he noticed his wrist communicator going off and had opened it.
"*KRTZ* (Siiiiiiip)…Ahh...Oh! Uh, yeah, Knuckles! We got a huge problem here!" Tails exclaimed in slight surprise after taking a long sip from his soda and looking back at Knuckles while forgetting briefly that had contacted him in the first place. Knuckles was about to ask Tails why he has a soda and some popcorn with him, but he shrugged it off since the emergency report is more important anyway.
You know what? ...I'm not going to question it...Knuckles thought with a gaped mouth before he frowned solemnly again as he waited for Tails to continue.
"Soo...Uhh...You remember the card that Cream drew out like a while ago?" Tails continued awkwardly with a frown as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Yeah? What about it?" Knuckles asked calmly yet curiously with a deep frown on his solemn face as he stared at Tails.
"Well, it seems that the Metarex armada had finally arrived, and what bad timing too! You as well as the others are stuck inside that fortress while we're out here on our own. Defending the Blue Typhoon will be difficult without you guys helping us," Tails continued with a solemn frown while staring at the projection screens that show the Metarex armada heading closer towards the fortress.
"It's all my fault, Mr. Knuckles! I was the one who caused this terrible thing to happen! Please forgive me!" Cream exclaimed in sadness with a guilty look on her face as she stared at Knuckles while contacting him with her wrist communicator too.
"It's alright, Cream. I forgive you. You had no choice but to play the game. I can't fault you for that or for what card that you got. Who knows? Maybe my next card would be worse than yours," Knuckles reassured calmly with a solemn frown on his empathic face as he nodded a little to Cream after seeing the other half of the screen popped up.
"Hmm...Maybe you're right, Mr. Knuckles...But thanks for forgiving me!" Cream replied calmly with a frown and with a nod before she beamed sweetly at Knuckles.
"Hmph...You're welcome, Cream. You're welcome," Knuckles replied calmly with a warm smile and with a lowered eyelids as he stared at Cream. Cream was happy with this response and had turned off her transmission to let Tails continue his conversation with Knuckles.
Tails nodded a little in understanding before he continued solemnly with a frown, "Right. Anyways, our mission to retrieve the last emeralds is going to be much tougher now that the armada is here. They'll destroy our ship as well as Eggman's if we don't escape in time. I don't know how long we can keep our defenses up, but we'll try the best that we can while you guys get the emeralds. Once you got them, retreat to the Blue Typhoon as fast as you can. That is an order. Got it?".
"No need to tell me twice, Tails. I'll leave as soon as possible," Knuckles replied calmly yet solemnly with a frown and with a nod as he stared at Tails. ...If only I could somehow... Knuckles thought in worry with a sweat drop on his head before he added calmly, "Just stay strong, Tails. We need you to pilot the Blue Typhoon after all. Stand your ground long enough until we get back".
"Alright, I'll try. I'll see you soon, Knuckles," Tails replied calmly with a frown and with another nod as he stared back at Knuckles.
"Later, Tails, and good luck," Knuckles replied calmly with a frown and with another nod before he gave a half-smile in the end as he wished Tails good luck. He and Tails turned off the transmission and closed their wrist communicators.
Tails sighed a little as he typed some more into his computer to see what they're truly up against. He then calmly asked Cream, "Okay, Cream. How bad is it?".
"There's just so many of them. I think that armada is large enough to surround us. We're completely trapped!" Cream answered in worry with a concerned look on her face as she scanned the area for Metarex ships and saw that they are behind the Blue Typhoon.
"Oh, yeah. That's real bad. Boy, this is going to be rough. I guess that it's up to us to protect the Blue Typhoon ourselves," Tails replied calmly with a solemn frown and with a lowered eyebrow as he looked worried.
"I just hope that the Blue Typhoon will stay intact after this," Cream replied calmly in worry with a concerned look on her face as she looked at Cheese. Cheese chirped sadly with a frown and with a nod, "Chao. Chao".
Tails sighed again as he muttered tiredly yet sarcastically with a frown while grabbing some popcorn and chomping into it, "(Sigh)...This is going to make my day...(Chomp!)".
-Meanwhile With Chris, Shadow, And Rouge-
("Confrontation" still plays in the background while being muffled)
"Aw, crud. We're doomed," Chris muttered weakly with a worried frown as he, Rouge, and Shadow watched the armada coming closer towards the fortress from a window.
"Congrats, kid. You're even more pessimistic than Shadow," Rouge commented with a frown as she stood next to Chris' left while staring at the armada too.
-KRTZ- -KRTZ-
Shadow grabbed his walkie-talkie after hearing some static going off from it. He raised it as he listened to Dr. Eggman yell, "Change of plans, Shadow! You and Rouge must go and find me so that we could all teleport back to my ship through Chaos Control! Hurry! I don't know how long Bocue can hang on to this pipe!".
"But why do we need to go back? We're actually very close to the emeralds. Just give me some more time to get them, and then we'll come back to you to get the heck out of this dump," Shadow replied calmly in a monotone voice with a solemn frown as he glared at Chris and Rouge.
"Look, Shadow! I want the emeralds as much as the next guy but not when my life is on the line here! So, do as you're told and come rescue me!" Dr. Eggman yelled back in frustration.
"Relax, Doctor. These Metarex poachers won't do jack squat once I obtain all the emeralds. Besides, they might be incompetent for all we know," Shadow replied calmly with a solemn frown as he stared back at his walkie-talkie.
"Don't underestimate these poachers, Shadow! They'll destroy our ship if we don't make it back in time! They're so sinister and competent that it makes me look like a fool! The chances of them being idiotic is zero to n-!" Dr. Eggman yelled back even more in frustration.
("Confrontation" abruptly stops playing with a record scratch sound effect)

"Hey! Hey! Dark Oak! Executive Producer buddy! I've finally made it! I've finally arrived to help you! Want me to punish these players by destroying the fortress that I've made?! Oh, yeah! That'll show them that we're the kings of this hunting game!" the big, red, Metarex commander spoke through the speaker as it echoed across the large area of space and the fortress. Everyone including Dark Oak himself listened to the red commander speak some more while having confused looks on their faces.
"Oooh! Oooh! Even better! I'll destroy the players' and the NPC's spaceships so that all of the intruders trapped inside my base will be forced to surrender! Heck yeah! I'm on fire with my witty ideas! Trust me, EX. P.! I got the highest assurance possible for your plans!" the big, red, Metarex commander proudly declared as he placed a hand over his chest before he raised his fist in victory since he felt excited to do his job.
"Oh, for goodness' sake. Not him. Not now..." Dark Oak muttered tiredly in annoyance as he face-palmed himself.
"Uhh...Who's your friend?" Sonic asked slowly yet awkwardly with a sheepish frown and with a sweat drop on his head as he stared at Dark Oak while having his back at him.
"He's...(Sigh)...the Quality Assurance guy..." Dark Oak answered tiredly with a sigh and with a sweat drop on his head as he lowered his hand down.
"...'Quality...Assurance...guy'? Wait. What? What kind of person is that?" Sonic asked in confusion as he stared at Dark Oak with a lost expression on his face.
"Nobody important," Dark Oak calmly answered in annoyance as he glared back at Sonic.
"Oh, Executive Producer! Yoohoo! Are you glad that I'm here?!" the red, Metarex commander exclaimed brightly in the background.
"Grrrrrr!" Dark Oak growled in frustration with a vein bulging from his robotic head before he quickly grabbed out a switch to turn on the communication speakers and yelled loudly to the red commander, "Red Pine! I told you that you're out of the poacher pack after screwing up your missions! You're the absolute worst poacher that I have ever seen! You can't even hurt a blade of grass! That's how pathetic you are!".
"Aww, come on, Chief! I've come prepared this time! Those players won't have a chance to escape since I have them all cornered with my astounding armada! I'll blast them all in no time flat! Hahahahahaha!" Red Pine yelled back while looking a bit sheepish before looking proud again with a laugh.
"'No time flat'...Oh, big freaking whoop! You're supposed to show up about an hour ago! Back when Player Three took her turn! If you can't show up when you're supposed to, then how do you expect me to believe that you can kill all the players in record time?! I'M having a better time into killing them than you! That's how bad you are at your job!" Dark Oak yelled back angrily while looking frustrated as he shook his fist.
"Pfft. Are you sure about that one...Chief?" Sonic asked teasingly with a smirk and with a scoff as he stared at Dark Oak in amusement.
"Shut up. I'm working on it," Dark Oak muttered tiredly in frustration as he briefly looked back at Sonic before back at the communication speaker.
"Listen, sir! I know that I have been tardy today, but that was because I was listening to Zelkova's sick guitar jams this afternoon! Man, if you had an appreciation for rock 'n' roll music, then you'll understand why I was late to show up when that card was selected!" Red Pine yelled back as he pointed before he casually placed his hands behind his head and looked upwards a bit.
"So, you were slacking off yet again! Why am I NOT surprised?!" Dark Oak yelled back in frustration and in exasperation as he face-palmed himself again.
"Umm...Maybe it's because you saw me do it hundreds of times before?" Red Pine replied calmly in confusion while shrugging casually.
"Grrrrrrrr..." Dark Oak growled in frustration as a vein popped through his robotic head.
"Wow, what a loser," Chris commented with a sheepish frown and with a sweat drop on his head while looking confused.
"Geez...I pray and hope that I won't be as stupid as that guy," Knuckles commented with a solemn frown and with stern eyes as he briefly looked up before back ahead of himself while still lying down on his stomach.
Tails frowned sheepishly as he stared at Red Pine on the screen while commenting calmly yet awkwardly, "...I'm not sure whether to laugh...or cry that this poacher is very bad at his job".
"Alright! This farce has gone far enough! I am not hearing another word from you, Q. A. guy! I'm going to handle the players myself while you stay in the background and do nothing! That's all you're good for anyway! So, begone, you fool! I have no use for you!" Dark Oak yelled again in frustration while shaking his fist again.
"Aww! Don't be like this, EX. P.! I can do it this time! Honest! I-!" Red Pine yelled back in sadness while putting his hands onto the control panel. However, he was cut off when his mic had been muted thanks to Dark Oak pressing another button on his communication speakers.

"There. Now that's much better. Anyways, where were we? ...Ah. Yes, our battle together, Sonic," Dark Oak muttered calmly in relief before in deviousness as he stared back at Sonic and Amy with his army of Metarex poachers.
("Confrontation" started to play from the beginning again)
"...See? I told you that they're morons," Shadow said calmly in a monotone voice with a solemn frown as he looked back down at his walkie-talkie after seeing that the stupid conversation was over.
"...You know what? Maybe you could spare a few minutes into getting the Chaos Emeralds. But only a few! Just be quick about it, okay?! My life is literally on the line here! So, no stalling! Got it?! Also, you should-!" Dr. Eggman replied calmly before yelling again in a commanding way.
"Hmph. Whatever," Shadow replied calmly in a bored tone with a frown and with a shrug after turning off the walkie-talkie.
"Sheesh, these poachers like to take everything under their control! If he's here to collect the Chaos Emeralds too, then I'm just gonna be one step ahead of him!" Rouge yelled in annoyance with a frown and with furrowed eyebrows as a vein bulged in her head.
"Rouge, I think that it might be best to do what Dr. Eggman says and get out of here while saving him too. We can't waste any more time here by collecting the emeralds if this new poacher wants to attack us," Chris reasoned calmly with a frown on his concerned face as he looked at Rouge with a hand out.
"He said that we could look for a couple of minutes. Besides, why are you concerned about the Doctor's well-being? He is your enemy, you know," Rouge replied calmly with a frown on her slightly confused face as she looked back at Chris.
"Yes, I know that, but even Sonic wouldn't want him to be killed. It is something that a hero would do regardless of how he or she might feel about their enemy. Besides, I don't want him to be killed either. It's just not right," Chris replied calmly with a concerned frown as he stared at Rouge.
"Oh, really? Well, let's just see what Shadow thinks about it. Shadow? What should we-?" Rouge replied calmly with a frown as she stared at Chris before looking at Shadow. However, she cut herself off when she saw Shadow walking away from her and Chris.
"Shadow! Don't walk away from us! Get back here and answer my question! What should we do?!" Rouge yelled in annoyance with a frown and with furrowed eyebrows as she glared at Shadow while having a vein bulging in her head.
"Get out of here," Shadow answered calmly with a frown as he stopped walking.
"What?! Excuse me?!" Rouge exclaimed back in exasperation as she looked irritated. Chris looked surprised at this answer.
"You heard me. Get out of here. Now!" Shadow answered again solemnly with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he looked back at Rouge and Chris. Rouge looked both baffled and frustrated at Shadow's answer and demand.
She yelled back in frustration, "Why should we leave?! We worked well together, and we're going to continue working together on this mission! We are not going to abandon you like this!".
"Fine. So, stay here and die. I don't care. I'll find the rest of emeralds and save Dr. Eggman myself. You guys are useless on your own," Shadow replied calmly yet bluntly with a solemn frown on his stoic face as he stared back at Rouge before turning his head around and started to walk again.
"'Useless'?!" Rouge and Chris exclaimed in unison with shocked looks on their faces. They watched Shadow walk away for a few more seconds before Rouge started to run after him.
"Oooh, no! You are not calling me 'useless' and be able to walk away like that! Get back here, Shadow!" Rouge yelled back in irritation with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as she glared at Shadow for a bit before she ran after him. Chris stared at Rouge and Shadow while having a shocked expression on his face.
"Don't follow me!" Shadow yelled back distantly in frustration.
"I'm going to follow you whether you like it or not! You need me, Shadow! You need me!" Rouge yelled back distantly in anger.
"Yes! You're right! I need you to stay away from me!" Shadow yelled back distantly in frustration.
"Grrrr! Stop being such a jerk and let me help you!" Rouge yelled back distantly in frustration with a growl.
"No!" Shadow yelled back distantly in anger.
"..." Chris was speechless as he stared at Shadow and Rouge running away with a gaped mouth and with wide eyes. It was like the second time today that his heart was broken by Shadow's crushing words. He felt like at this point that he doesn't even know him anymore, and that saddens him so much.
Was I wrong about him this whole time? Chris thought in sadness with a frown as he stared down at his hands. He kept staring at his hands in sadness before he grimaced in anger as he clenched his hands into fists.
"...I...am not...useless..." Chris muttered quietly yet solemnly with a grimace and with furrowed eyebrows as he glared at Shadow with clenched fists. He then ran as fast as he could towards Shadow and Rouge to try to catch up to them.
-Meanwhile With Dr. Eggman And Knuckles-
("Confrontation" still plays in the background, but again, it's muffled)
"Blast it! Shadow cut me off! I was about to add that he should beat up Sonic too if he happens to meet up with him!" Dr. Eggman yelled in frustration with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he stared at his walkie-talkie. Knuckles stared down at Dr. Eggman with his hands on his hips after getting back up again.
He yelled in annoyance with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows, "Hey! Only I get to beat up Sonic around here! You better call Shadow again and tell him to stay out of it!".
Dr. Eggman looked back up at Knuckles with a frown and stared at him briefly in silence before he answered quickly, "...No!".
He then pressed some buttons onto his hovercraft and quickly contacted Bokkun from his spaceship. He ordered quickly, "Bokkun! Press the autopilot button for my hovercraft! Also, turn on the self-defense button so that our spaceship will be safe from the Metarex attacks!".
"Alright! One for autopilot and one for self-defense! Got it!" Bokkun exclaimed back in understanding with a sweat drop on his head as he quickly typed into the computer and pressed those two buttons.
"What do you mean by 'autopilot'?! Don't tell me that you're planning on running away again!" Knuckles yelled in irritation with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he glared hard at Dr. Eggman with his hands on his hips.
"Well, of course, I'm running away, you idiot! I'm not going to throw my life away while having your carcass inside my beautiful hovercraft! So, move it or lose it, knucklehead! I'm out of this nuthouse!" Dr. Eggman yelled back in frustration with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he raised his hand at Knuckles.
"No! Stop! Argh!" Knuckles exclaimed in shock and in frustration with a grimace before he felt the hovercraft moving again and had jumped off from it. He landed back down on top of the X-Tornado and stared up at Dr. Eggman as he watched him and his robots fly away in his hovercraft.
"Hey! Don't leave me behind!" Knuckles yelled in anger with a deep frown and with a sweat drop as he glared up at Dr. Eggman's hovercraft.
"We're saved, baby! We're saved!" Dr. Eggman exclaimed in joy and in relief as he flew away in his hovercraft while it's on autopilot.
"Hallelujah!" Decoe exclaimed in joy and in relief.
"Amen!" Bocue exclaimed in joy and in relief too.
"Well, this is just great! Now how am I supposed to get out of here with this piece of crud?!" Knuckles yelled in frustration with a deep frown and with furrowed eyebrows as he stared upwards before he stared at the X-Tornado with a sweat drop coming down from his head.
-Meanwhile With Sonic, Amy, And Cosmo-
("Confrontation" is at full-blast again)
BAM! WHACK! STRIKE! STRIKE! BAM! WHACK! WHACK! CRUSH! SMASH!
Robot parts and bodies kept flying everywhere and being smashed as Sonic and Amy ruthlessly destroyed the Metarex poachers. Sonic kept spinning into the poachers with his Spinball move while Amy kept swinging her hammer at the poachers. Sonic even punched through the brown poachers by ramming into them. However, more Metarex poachers show up to attack Sonic and Amy. Sonic was getting exhausted again as he stopped attacking and just panted a lot while sweating.
Amy was getting exhausted too as she stopped and yelled in frustration with a deep frown, "Okay! This is getting us nowhere! Time for Plan B!".
She then jumped away from the Metarex poachers and ran towards her pink saucer. She quickly got in and exclaimed in determination with a solemn frown, "Sonic! Take a breather! I got this one covered!".
"Oh...(Pant Pant Pant)...You don't say...(Pant Pant Pant)...Heh...Go for it, Amy...(Pant Pant)…" Sonic replied breathlessly with a surprised look on his face before he smiled weakly and gave Amy a thumbs-up while panting a lot.
"I'll do it for you, sweetheart!" Amy exclaimed excitedly with a grin as she prepared to attack the hoards of Metarex poachers with her saucer.
If only she could stop with the embarrassing nicknames, then I would be grateful. Sonic thought calmly in annoyance with a grimace and with a sweat drop as he cringed a lot after hearing Amy call him "sweetheart".
"Alright, you stupid poachers! If you want a fight, then you got a fight! Try attacking me through these!" Amy yelled in determination with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as she attacked by firing yellow lasers at the Metarex poachers. The lasers had successfully hit the poachers and had made them blow up.
BOOOM! KAABOOM! BOOOM! KAAABOOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOOM! KAAABOOOOM!
Multiple Metarex poachers jumped through the air to try to attack Sonic, but Amy fired the lasers at them and destroyed them too. Tons of explosions were everywhere as the poachers were being destroyed by the lasers.
KABOOOM! KAAABOOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOM! KAAABOOOM! BOOOOOM! KAABOOOOM!
"(Pant Pant Pant)…(Whistles) Way to go, Amy!" Sonic exclaimed brightly with a grin and with a whistle after panting a little.
"Murder everything! Murder everything!" Amy yelled furiously in determination with a solemn frown and with furrowed eyebrows as she moved her saucer a bit while firing her lasers at the poachers. Sonic frowned and lowered his eyelids in annoyance after hearing Amy say that.
Although we might need to tone down "the crazy" a little bit...Sonic thought in exhaustion with a frown and with lowered eyelids as he sweated again.
More Metarex poachers were blown up by Amy's lasers. However, some of them had managed to land on top of Amy's saucer and tried to break it by scratching and bashing onto it.
"Grrr! Get off of my saucer, you idiotic poachers! Quit scratching onto my vehicle! I like to keep it beautiful, you know!" Amy yelled in frustration with a deep frown and with a growl as he glared hard at the brown poachers while they attacked her vehicle.
"Oh, dear! Amy is in trouble! If only Knuckles is here to help, then he'll-!" Cosmo exclaimed in worry with a concerned look on her face as she looked back at Amy after finally reaching towards the cyan-blue emerald.
"Take this! And that! And this! And that! Yeah! Go away!" Amy exclaimed in determination as she pressed a button to unleash the saucer's hammer and knocked the Metarex poachers away from it.
"..." Cosmo was speechless after seeing that. She watched Sonic boosting into more Metarex poachers while Amy kept firing her lasers at them. She then muttered weakly with a frown as she stared at Amy and Sonic before at the glass tube in front of her, "...Never mind. Amy and Sonic got this one covered...Anyways...all that is left is opening these glass tubes...But how, I wonder?".

Sonic bowled through more groups of Metarex poachers with his Spinball move, and Amy fired more lasers at the poachers. They exploded and were smashed by these attacks. Cosmo kept thinking to herself while the fighting kept going on in the background. But eventually, she looked surprised when she realized how to unlock the glass tubes.
"Ah! Of course! Duh! The Metarex use the same password for all of their devices! 'Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, start'!" Cosmo exclaimed in surprise as she quickly typed in the password into the keypad next to the glass tubes. After Cosmo typed in the password, a little jingle plays in the form of beeps.

The glass tubes soon opened after taking in the password. Cosmo gasped in awe as she saw that she had successfully opened the glass tubes and had acquired the emeralds herself. I can't believe it! It worked! I did it! I got the emeralds! Cosmo thought in relief and in joy as she looked happy with herself. Not only did she unlock the emerald cases, but she also activated the Planet Egg lockdown. After destroying the last Metarex poachers, Sonic stopped attacking and gasped in surprise after hearing a small celebratory jingle going off.

What's going on here?! Sonic thought in surprise as he stared up at the Planet Egg in confusion. He can see the Planet Egg getting sealed up by another case. Purple electricity shot through the case before it closed fully and dropped the Planet Egg down into the fortress.
"Wait! What did I just do?!" Cosmo exclaimed quickly in a panic with a nervous look on her face as she stared down at the trap door while holding onto the yellow and cyan-blue Chaos Emeralds.
"Congratulations, Player's Guide, you've ruined everything for the players. Nicely done," Dark Oak calmly yet sinisterly praised Cosmo while slowly clapping his hands.
"What?! I did what now?!" Cosmo exclaimed in shock and in confusion as she quickly stared at Dark Oak with a panicked look on her face.
"Yeah! Just what did she do?!" Sonic exclaimed in shock and in confusion as he looked solemn while glaring at Dark Oak.
"You could say that she had unleashed the universe's ultimate destruction...A black hole..." Dark Oak answered calmly yet darkly as he stared at Sonic with his arms down.
"'A...A...A black'..." Cosmo muttered quietly in shock as she looked horrified at what she had done.
"'Hole'?! Are...Are you serious?!" Sonic exclaimed in shock as he looked freaked-out while staring at Dark Oak with wide eyes.
"But that's...! That's suicide! Anyone who's around the black hole will be killed! Tails said so, and I believe it one-hundred percent!" Amy exclaimed in alarm as she stared at Dark Oak while looking shocked and while having her hands on top of her saucer.
"That may be so but not for me. I could teleport out of here thanks to the use of Chaos Control. So that means the rest of you players will die. Such a shame that I won't kill you all myself, but the black hole will do the work for me," Dark Oak replied calmly yet deviously as he stared at Sonic and Amy.
"No!" Sonic and Amy exclaimed in shock and in concern as they looked surprised.
"And what makes this even better is that one of you players is about to receive the card that activates the black hole. By the time that I'm finished talking, that player would've already taken their turn and receive that exact card. Hahahahahaha! How ironic that one of your trusted friends could bring about the worst destruction that all of you are trying to prevent," Dark Oak added calmly yet deviously with a dark chuckle while standing victoriously.
"...! NO! IT COULDN'T BE! IT'S-! IT'S-!" Sonic, Amy, and Cosmo gasped loudly and shouted in shock and in unison as they looked freaked-out by this revelation. But soon, Sonic and Amy looked annoyed as they brooded in unison while Cosmo still looked horrified.

As you may have noticed, I've started to add song numbers in this chapter because sure. Why not? It's only for aesthetic purposes really. No need to listen to them if you don't want to. But anyways, we have begun episode 64! Almost done with the Midgame! I think that it might end in part 7 or 8. I'm betting on ending it on 7. After the Midgame stuff, we'll have a few bonus games until we start episode 65. So, lots of fun stuff along the way!
