Ch 1 Exile - Homebound

"Capsule Corp..." Riddic muttered as he flew high in the skies of Planet Earth. He had dropped his friend Master Roshi-or as Riddic calls him "Old Man Roshi"-off at his island home. He left soon after saying his goodbyes and receiving directions to West City, the place where Capsule Corp laid in waiting.

He looked over his cloths, his armor; dark with a blue stripped area in the center of his stomach and blue knee guards.(even thought they where along the sides of his legs they were still called knee guards.) His dark gauntlets with blue outlines, dark boats with a blue striped toe and his newly acquired human attire, dark green sweatpants. Riddic smiled at the gift from his friend.

"Here, try these on." Roshi said as his Saiyan friend looked at the gift in interest. "I thought that these would suit you. Might not be as durable as your armor but it beats wearing spandex!"

Riddic laughed as he remembered the moment. "I'll return the favor...Someday..." He looked ahead towards the horizon, nothing but ocean and the occasional island appeared before him.

'Still a few minutes till I reach West City.' Riddic thought. 'Roshi warned me that the average human would panic if they saw me land right in front of them, best find a secluded place to land.'

No sooner had Riddic finished that thought the coastline appeared into view and with it the spiraling West City. The silver-haired Saiyan smiled.

"That was quick." He said aloud. After a few more moments the city laid before him, he stopped and hovered above looking for an area to land without drawing much attention. He found one soon enough and began his decent into the human populated city.

West City Age 735

Riddic landed in a back alleyway in between two skyscrapers, alerting none save a single cat resting on top of a garbage can. The startled feline ran off into the darkness, never to be seen by the Saiyan again. Riddic looked around to confirm he wasn't spotted. Satisfied, he walked out of the alley and into the bustling streets of West City. When he emerged, several people looked at him for a few moments curiously before returning to what they were doing.

He stepped into the crowd and was imminently shoved by a middle-aged man. "Watch it!" He yelled as he brushed past the Saiyan. Riddic turned to say something but was shoved by another human, then another and another after that. He decided to move along with the crowd than be shoved by another human.

'These humans sure are in a hurry. Wonder what the fuzz is about?' What Riddic didn't know was that this was the daily routine for a human who lived in a city, moving at a quick pace to work, school, hang out with friends or some other event. Such a thing was rare in large numbers during the daily routine of a Saiyan, even with their incorporation into the PTO.

Riddic kept pace with the crowd, scanning as he went for any signs of Capsule Corp. 'It doesn't help that I still can't read these human's letters.' He thought as he remembered the time Master Roshi tried to teach him how to read these letters and gave up soon afterwards.

'I know the old man meant well but its a whole different alphabet than the one the PTO shared with us Saiyans, and that was hard enough on its own.'

He continued to walk among the crowd when someone called out to him. "Hey! You with the silver hair and cool looking armor! Over here!"

Riddic looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. He spotted a human -a teenage female by the looks of her- waving at him from across the street by a cafe. The female had light blue hair that stretched past her neck, an aqua, oversized sweat shirt covering a black tank top, dark blue stockings, a bell collar, black boots, black cat ears and a tail.

She was standing by a teenage human male who looked like something in between a black Asian and an Egyptian. He had wavy hair and a short ponytail, a red jacket vest, a gray short-sleeved shirt, black pants with white strips along the sides and black sneakers. Riddic -assuming the girl was the one calling to him before- waved back and made his way towards the pair.

He stood before the two, the girl smiled. "Sorry for the trouble, but I just HAD to take a closer look at that armor you're wearing. Is it a cosplay? If it is what anime is it from?"

Riddic raised his eyebrow. "Cosplay?" The girl clapped her hands together.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Dezzi," She gestured towards her male companion. "And this is Len, he's my twiny."

Riddic quickly look at both of them, comparing the two. "But you look nothing alike." He said with one eyebrow raised, he off all people knew what twins were.

"We're not real twins, it's just a thing the two of us have." Dezzi said as she waved her hand in a playful manner.

"Oh...I see." Riddic said despite the fact that he didn't know what she meant.

Len took a have step towards the Saiyan. "What's your name bro?"

'Bro?' Riddic turned to Len. "My name is Riddic." He smiled while offering his hand to Len. "Nice to meet you."

Len shook his hand. "Nice to meet you too." He pointed at Riddic's armor. "So you gonna tell us what kind of armor that is?"

"YES! Please tell us!" Dezzi added, her eyes seemingly sparkling from excitement.

Riddic chuckled. "Alright," He placed his hand on his chest. "This armor's referred to as Saiyan Battle Armor or just Battle Armor, depending on who's wearing it."

'My race calls it the former like we invented it, even though the PTO giving it to us.' He finished in his head, not wanting to invite any unwanted questions. "It's standard issue for everyone in the PTO," Riddic continued. "And it can stretch to almost any size."

"That's so cool!" Dezzi proclaimed, her eyes still sparkling. "I want one! Where can I get one? Can I try yours on?" Riddic tried to answer the latter but was cut off by Len.

"What does PTO mean?" The human asked.

"Planet Trade Organization. They're a galactic army that goes to planets, wipe out the native species, and sell the 'cleared' planets to the highest bidder, as per the name."

Len nodded, like he already knew the answer but approved of Riddic's explanation. "Sounds like a cool anime, and what are you dressed up as exactly?"

"I'm a Saiyan, one of the species the PTO incorporated into its army." Riddic scratched the back of his head. 'Technically, not a lie. But Roshi told me that some humans might freak out if they know I'm really an alien. Best to roll with this "cosplay" thing...Whatever the hell that is...'

Dezzi, still sparked eyed, butted in front of Len. "So cool! I want to watch that anime now! What's it called?"

Riddic crossed his arms, he knew "anime" was a type of cartoon on this planet -several of which he'd seen and enjoyed- but now he had to think of a title for this bogus anime of his species life story. "Uh...Vegeta." He said at last, giving them a moment to take in the name before he changed topics.

"By the way," Riddic pointed at Dezzi. "Those cat ears and tail of yours, are they real?" She leaned back and puffed out her chest, her hands at her waists.

"Yeah they are!" Her ears twitched and her tail waged, proofing that they were indeed real. Dezzi leaned forward with a smirk. "You wanna feel them?"

The Saiyan thought on it for a moment before answering. "As long as you're offering."

Riddic extended his hand towards one of Dezzi's cat ears, slowly at first in case the latter changed her mind. He rubbed her ear in between his thumb and index finger. 'So soft and-'

His thoughts were cut off when Dezzi suddenly yipped. "Nyan!"

Riddic yanked his hand away, thinking that he hurt the human. 'The hell kind of noise was that?'

"Um, Are you ok?" He asked half confused, half concerned.

"Yeah I fine, don't worry!" She said as she flailed her arms back and forth, trying to hide the fact that she was embarrassed by the sound she made.

"Are you sure? I never heard anyone make a sound like that."

Dezzi looked off toward the side, she brought her hands together and began to bend both her index fingers together. "Well...That noise was...I make that noise when..." She sighed, let her hands rest at her side, and looked Riddic directly in the eyes. Her face blushed. "I make that noise when someone pleasures me in certain ways."

Riddic blinked a few times, fully taking in what she said. 'Well this turned awkward fast...' He rubbed the back of his head."I-I see...Well uh I don't really know what to say to that."

"It's fine if you, you know, wanna keep going if you want. I don't mind."

Riddic sighed. "Thanks but this just turned weird now." After a few more moments of awkward silence, Riddic decided to change the mood, again. "Do either of you know how to get to Capsule Corp?"

"Capsule Corp? Yeah I know where it is." Len answered. "You keep going along this street till you see a train station, after that head right for a few blocks then left, keep going that way and you should see it."

Riddic nodded. "Thanks, this city is massive. I doubt I would have found it on my own."

Len chuckled. "No problem bro." Len raised his fist towards Riddic. "Fist bump?"

The Saiyan hesitated for a moment, then carefully bumped his fist with the human's. Satisfied that he managed to restrain his power, he waved his two new friends goodbye and went on his way to Capsule Corp, the pair continued on with their day, only to find out later that the "anime" the Saiyan told them about doesn't exist.

A few minutes later...

Riddic stood outside of Capsule Corp, staring at the complex. It was a large, round, yellow building that easily dwarfed the other buildings in sight. Two much smaller gray buildings that might have been garages or workshops hung off to the side of the enormous building, surrounding the outer area was a neatly trimmed wall of bush.

"Well it defiantly stands out." He said as he wondered how he didn't spot it sooner.

"Hey! You with the silver-hair and strange armor!" A voice said to Riddic's left, he turned his head only to see a man in a blue uniform approaching him. "What are you doing there?"

"Me? I'm on my way to meet the man who founded this company."

The man raised both of his eyebrows. "You mean Dr. Briefs? And what business do you have with him?"

"I want to see if he can fix an item of mine." Riddic scratched the back of his head. "Its a bit complicated for someone like me so I thought he could take a look at it."

The man sighed, he placed his right hand on his waist. "So you're one of those visitors...Well go right in. Dr. Briefs a genius and his company makes just about everything, besides he's the type of man who'd help anyone. I'm sure he'll help you out."

He turned around, waving his hand at Riddic. "Sorry for bothering you."

Riddic watched the man walk away for a few moments, waiting to see if there would be another interruption, than walked to the main entrance of Capsule Corp. He stood before the large glass double doors, he scanned for a handle or knob when the doors automatically opened for him. He walked through the glass double doors without a second thought.

He looked around, inside was a blue room with a couch, a few plants, and a desk with a human female standing behind it.

"Welcome." The receptionist said with a smile. "Can I help you?"

Riddic approached her. "Yes, can you tell me where to find Dr. Briefs? I need to ask him something."

"Do you have an appointment?"

Riddic tilted his head. "Appointment?"

The receptionist frowned. "If you don't have one, I can look at the doctor's schedule and set up a time for you, sir."

Riddic scratched the back of his head and smiled. "Yes, can you please do that? I'm somewhat in a hurry so I hope it isn't too long."

The human typed a few keys on a nearby computer. "You're in luck. He's free now."

Riddic smiled. "Great! Where can I find him?"

The receptionist pointed towards a door exactly like the front entrance's. "At this time he's usually in the indoor garden spending time with his pets. You should find him through there."

"Thanks a lot." Riddic said as he moved toward the door, like the first one it opened for him, revealing a vast garden.

He walked in, looking at the vast amount of animals inhabiting the garden as he went. "Looks like this doctor is quite the animal lover." The Saiyan said to himself.

"True, but that's not entirely the reason I have all of these pets." A voice behind him added. "You see I take in stray animals, you wouldn't believe how many there are in this city."

Riddic turned around, before him was a short man with glasses, blue-gray hair, a gray mustache, a white lab coat with a blue undershirt, black pants, and a cigarette in his mouth.

"Are you Dr. Briefs?" Riddic asked.

"Of course, who else would I be?" The man replied.

Riddic chuckled. "True enough I guess," He offered his hand to the doctor. "My name's Riddic, I know this is sudden but I have a favor to ask you."

Dr. Breifs shook his hand. "Sure, what do you need?"

"Before I get to that, I should tell you something." Riddic took a deep breath.

"I know this might be hard to believe, but I'm an alien, a Saiyan to be specific, and I've been on this planet for 2 years. I came here on a small space pod and haven't touched it since I arrived, I was wondering if you can take a look at it and see if it needs repairs."

Dr. Briefs blinked a few times before speaking again. "If that's the case, why didn't you try to repair it yourself?"

'Took that better than I thought.' Riddic scratched the back of his head. "I'm no engineer, I haven't the slightest clue for those sort of things."

The doctor nodded. "Well that's understandable I guess, not everyone is good at everything." He turned around and gestured Riddic to follow.

"So where is this pod of yours? Did you bring it along with you?"

"Uh no. It's somewhere on an island to the east, but I have a way of getting it here."

The two walked through the double doors leading to the lobby, Briefs then lead the silver-haired Saiyan out the front door.

"Do you? Well you might as well do that now."

Riddic nodded, he reached into his armor and pulled out the remote control for his Attack Pod. He pressed a few buttons and put it back where he got it. "Should be here in a few minutes."

Meanwhile, on a remote island...

On the island that Riddic landed on 2 years ago, a particular saber-toothed tiger sat inside the Saiyan's space pod, calming it as his new den. He rested comfortably as he fiddled with a bone from his latest meal.

Suddenly, the pod began to make various beeping sounds and began to shake itself free of the crater it was in. This startled the tiger; the pod began to rise into the sky, the tiger jumped out of the pod just before the door closed and watched as his home for the last 2 years flew off into the sunset.

A few minutes later, in West City...

"There it is." Riddic pointed at his pod as in came into view. Dr. Briefs looked in the indicated direction, spotted the alien spacecraft and followed the pod as it landed in front of the two.

"Quite a unique spacecraft, unlike anything I've seen." He scratched his head as he walked around the pod. "Not a propulsion system to be seen, yet it clearly flies: I'm impressed. Whatever race made this is well more advanced than ours."

He came full circle, stopped and stared at the pod. "I'll take it into my workshop, see what I can do. Are you sure it's broken?"

Riddic took a step forward, he banged on the top of his pod, activating the automated system that opened the door.

"Let's find out." He sat in his pod and looked around. Besides some dry blood marks and some dirt here and there it looked exactly like he left it.

"Computer, system check."

His pod beeped a few times.

"Working..."The automated voice responded. "Exterior: Intact. Interior: Intact. Environmental systems: Replenished. Life Support: Satisfactory. Engines: Operable, but require adjustments. Fuel: 31%. Navigation: Operable.-"

"That's enough Computer, thank you."

Riddic climbed out of the pod, the door closed soon after. "Well I need fuel and the engines need tuning." He eyed Dr. Briefs. "Think you can manage it?"

The doctor shrugged. "No harm in trying." He turned left and walked off to his left. "Lets start immediately. Bring the pod this way would you?"

"Sure." Riddic crouched down, grabbed his pod, and lifted it over his head.

He followed the doctor to one of the small gray buildings, stopping only a few moments so Dr. Briefs could open the door, and went inside.

"Place it down there please." The doctor pointed at a spot in the middle of the floor.

Riddic complied, his pod fell to the floor with a THUMP. He looked around the room, an vast assortment of tools and gadgets laid scattered around.

"Impressive collection doctor." He said with satisfaction.

"Bah, everything scattered around this place. Takes me forever to find what I need." Dr. Briefs said as he looked among the rabble for certain tools. "I'll take a look at your pod and see what I can do, given that I can figure out how this thing works. Why don't you go inside while you wait?"

Riddic smiled. "Thank you, if you can't figure it out call me." He turned around and began to walk back to the main building. Suddenly a voice called out to him. "I didn't know my husband had company. I would have put on some tea."

Riddic turned his head, a blond, curly haired woman was approaching him. She wore a long white dress and high heels. Her eyes were closed, which was weird cause it seemed liked she could see perfectly fine as if her eyes WERE OPEN.

"Uh, yeah. Dr. Briefs is doing me a favor and fixing a vehicle of mine."

"That's just like him, helping anyone he can. That's one of the reasons why I married him." She laughed for several moments. "Uh where are my manners? I'm the wife of Dr. Briefs, you can call me Mrs. Briefs."

Riddic nodded. "My name's Riddic, nice to meet you ma'am."

Mrs. Breifs chuckled. "My, aren't you cute. I bet all the girls are all over you!"

Riddic blushed, he rubbed the back of his head. "I...wouldn't really know about that."

Mrs. Briefs paced over to him. "And honest too! I'm surprised you don't have a girlfriend." She rapped her arms around his right arm and began to pull him towards the main building. "Why don't we have some sweets while you wait for my husband to finish working on your vehicle? You must be hungry after coming all this way."

Riddic put his free hand on his stomach. "I little I guess...but are you sure? I don't want to impose."

"It's no trouble at all, in fact I insist."

A few hours later...

Mrs. Briefs guided the Saiyan to her and her husband's personal floor. Shortly after, she served several sweets to her guest and the two began to converse. Riddic sat on a couch while sat on a chair across from him, the two occasionally munched on sweets as the talked.

"We have two daughters, the oldest; Tights, is in high school. In 11th grade and she's only 13! Can you believe that? Top of her class too, genius runs in the family I guess."

"You must be proud of your daughter for accomplishing so much."

"She's amazing, just like her sister Bulma. Only 2 years old and she can walk, speak in complete sentences, and she even fixed the TV remote the other day!"

"Wow, most kids on my planet at that age would just be getting the hang of walking and start attempting to speak in complete sentences." (The ones not sent off into space to fend for themselves anyway.)

"I know, she's such a natural too. Another genius, it really does run in the family."

The two of them laughed, but were soon cut off when Dr. Briefs entered the room. "Ah Riddic, there you are."

"Hey doc, did you finish already?"

The doctor shook his head. "No, far from it in fact. Though the A.I. installed in your pod has been walking me through the process step by step, it's still very complicated work. You have a very advanced piece of technology by Earth standards. But anyway, I wanted to ask you about this." Briefs reached inside his pocket and pulled out a gadget Riddic was all too familiar with: His old Scouter.

"It fell out of a compartment while I was working on your ship." Dr. Briefs continued. "The A.I. told me it was broken so I took a look at it, thing is I haven't a clue where to begin. Since you're more familiar with it than I, I thought you could help me repair it."

Riddic sat up. "You don't have to repair it if you don't want to."

"Nonsense! It's no trouble at all!" The doctor exclaimed, fiddling with the device as he spoke. "Besides, I'm fascinated by your technology and wish to familiarize myself with it in the hops of improving my own inventions."

Riddic placed his hand on his chin and stared at the floor, debating on offer. 'Well...I could use it to message Roy and his crew. They do deserve an explanation of why I've been gone for 4 years.'

He looked at the doctor. "Why not?" Riddic paced towards him. "I'm sure I left the manual for it somewhere in my pod. I'll get it and we can begin."

A few more hours later...

Riddic and Dr. Briefs huddled by a workbench in the same building the Attack Pod was in, attempting to fix the Saiyan's Scouter. Riddic held the manual of said device and read it to Dr. Briefs as he tried to fix the gadget.

"So I just turn this and it should work?" Dr. Briefs asked, pointing at a particular part of the Scouter with a screw driver.

"That's what it says." Riddic said, not moving his eyes from the page.

Dr. Briefs turned the part, the Scouter reacted with a beep. He closed the device up and handed it to Riddic. "Try it out."

The Saiyan took the device, placed it on his left ear, and pressed the button. The screen of the outdated Scouter lit up, Riddic smiled with satisfaction. "It seems to be working, let me try to make a call."

Dr. Briefs blinked a few times. "You're telling me that device is a phone?"

Riddic chuckled in response. "A communicator to be precise, but the Scouter has more functions than that."

He turned around, pressed the single button several times.

"I'll try calling my friend Roy, hopefully he's still on that channel we set up awhile ago."

Riddic took a half-step forward before speaking into the comm channel.

"Roy, its me Riddic. Respond over." He waited a few moments, hoping that his message got through.

Minutes passed, and with not as much as a peep from the Scouter. Riddic sighed. 'It was worth a-'

"-WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME?!" A familiar voice yelled into his ears, loud enough for Dr. Briefs to hear. Riddic took the Scouter off, a bit dazed by the volume.

"4 years you and the others have been missing! You could have messaged us sooner if you were going to take this long! We thought you were dead Riddic!"

Riddic placed the Scouter back on his ear. "Sorry Roy, things got complicated fast. I'll explain everything when I get back, but what you need to know now is that the Dragon Balls were real, and I became immortal."

"So the plans still on..."A few moments of silence elapsed before Roy continued. "Where are you? Are you on Namek? And what about the others?"

"No, I left Namek a few years ago. I'm on a planet called Earth now, and...the others are dead." Riddic sighed. "Things happened so fast, I failed to see it coming."

"What exactly happened?"

"Like I said, I'll explain everything when I get back. I plan on heading home soon, might be back in a year or two, depends on how far away from Vegeta I am. For now I need you and your crew to prepare for the fight against Frieza. Can you do that for me Roy?"

"We'll be ready when you get back. Just keep in touch ok? Don't need to think you're dead floating in space somewhere."

Riddic laughed. "Well that'll be hard to do since I'm an immortal now. I'll call every now and then. See you soon my friend." He pressed the button, switching his Scouter's comm function off.

He turned to Dr. Briefs. "Thank you doctor, it works like brand new." Riddic removed the Scouter from his ear and placed it in his pocket.

"It was my pleasure." Dr. Briefs sat up from the chair he was sitting on. "I believe it's getting late, why don't you go inside and sleep? I'm sure my wife can find you a bed to use."

Riddic tilted his head. "And what are you going to do?"

"I'm going to continue work on the pod. See if I can make any late night progress before turning in myself."

Dr. Briefs moved to a nearby bin full with parts and tools. He stumbled through the assortment, pulling out certain tools he needed.

"Don't worry about me, my boy. I'll see you in the morning."

Riddic nodded, thanking him for his kindness, and headed off.

The next day...

"I wonder if Dr. Briefs lost track of time last night." Riddic said as he walked towards the small gray garage where his pod was stored. "Hope he's alright..."

"I'm sure he's fine," Mrs. Briefs assured him -she decided to tag along to see the space pod. "He becomes so wrapped up in his work that he loses all track of time."

"Is that so? He does this all the time then?"

"Oh sure, when he works on a big project like this time just flies by. Days seem like minutes when he's this focused." She continued. "One time I found him in his lab 3 weeks after I last talked to him. Thinking that it was the same day we talked, he asked me what time it was. Needless to say, my husband was surprised when I told him its been 3 weeks since I last saw him."

Riddic stared at Mrs. Briefs, finding the story a bit unbelievable. "How did he survive for 3 weeks without food or water?"

"I know my husband's work habits and had mini-fridges installed in every one of his known work areas. That way he has plenty of food and water when he's like this." She laughed. "I guess I'm a genius in my own way too."

Riddic chuckled. "Your husband's lucky to have a wife like you."

Mrs. Briefs nodded, thanking him for the compliment, then turned to the other person walking with them.

She was the youngest daughter of the Briefs family; Bulma. She wore a cute purple dress, black shoes, and had blue hair that stretched down to her shoulders.

"You see that dear? Our alien guest is very nice, not to mention polite and good-looking."

"I still don't see how he's an alien." The two year old Bulma said bluntly. "He looks just like any other person I've seen before."

"Now Bulma, you shouldn't say something like that to our guest, it's very rude."

Riddic chuckled. "I don't mind it, after all it is hard to believe. For a race that isn't in a space age I've come to expect that type of behavior."

Bulma turned her head to the Saiyan. "So this isn't the first time you've encountered a race like us?"

Riddic meet her gaze. "Well by 'like you' in terms of appearance, tons including my own race. If you mean in technological status, I have encountered a few that have yet to reach a space age. Though I'm afraid they will never get the chance to now."

The child Bulma tilted her head. "Why's that?" She asked innocently.

Riddic gave her a sad smile. "I don't like to talk about it. Bad memories, yeah know?"

"Oh, were they mean to you?"

"Something like that..."

The trio arrived in front of the workshop Dr. Briefs currently been using. Mrs. Briefs opened the door and the three of them moved inside. Riddic narrowed his eyes on the Attack Pod, the inside was completely gutted.

Several components, wires and the seat of the pod laid scattered all around it. He looked up and saw Dr. Briefs huddled by a workbench. Bulma rushed over to her father. The latter fiddled with a wrench as he looked over a particular part of Riddic's Pod.

"Hey dad!"

Dr. Briefs looked at his daughter. "Oh hello Bulma, what are you doing up this late?"

Bulma giggled. "It's morning silly."

"Is that right?" The doctor placed his wrench down, he scratched the back of his head. "One all nighter and I still can't figure this damn thing out."

"Honey!" Mrs. Briefs walked over to her husband. "Watch your language around Bulma!"

"Right, right." Dr. Briefs sighed, he turned his head to Riddic. "Sorry about the mess, but it was the only way to get to this part." He gestured Riddic closer.

"All I know right now is that this part here is the engine." Dr. Briefs scratched his head. "It's a bit more complex than the engines on this planet. Such a small thing, whoever made this continues to amaze me."

Riddic leaned over the doctor's shoulder. "Do you still think you can fix it?"

"I'm sure I can figure it out, it'll just take some time."

Riddic smiled. "I'm confident of your abilities Dr. Briefs." He placed his hand on the doctor's shoulder. "There's nothing out there that you can't figure out."

Dr. Briefs smiled. "I'm glad you have such high hopes for me, my boy." He leaned back and stretched. "I think I'll figure this out in another day or two."

Riddic nodded. "Thanks again for doing this."

"It's no trouble at all." The doctor leaned forward again, studying the Attack Pod's engine once again. "In fact, I see this as a learning experience to compare our races technology with another. If we where to adapt these technologies with our own, or if our two races were to collaborate, just think of what we could accomplish! The possibilities are endless."

Riddic chuckled. 'If only he knew...' He turned to leave. "Well, I'll leave you to it." He reached the door, placed his hand on the handle, then turned his head back the way he came. "Coming Bulma?"

Bulma giggled. "Coming!" She said as she ran towards Riddic. With one swift movement, Riddic and Bulma exited from the workshop and began to walk back to the main building.

Mrs. Briefs smiled. "Riddic really bounded with our Bulma this morning. She's been stuck to him ever since. Who knew he was so great with kids?"

Dr. Briefs, entangled in his work, only heard half of what his wife said. "Thanks great darling. I'm sure he will find a use for that later in life."

Mrs. Briefs brought her hand up and laughed. "He'll be idolized by his wife, if he ever decides to settle down of course. I'm a bit jealous."

Dr. Briefs looked at his wife for a moment, blinking a few times, then returned to his work with a sigh.

A few minutes later...

Riddic and Bulma played around inside Capsule Corps indoor garden. The two walked along the concrete path, the younger humming as they went. Riddic turned his head towards a particular bird that caught his interest.

"So what do you want to do Bulma?" He eyed the two year old as he waited for a response.

"Uhm...I know!" She sprinted ahead of the Saiyan. "Over here! Hurry!" Bulma waved at Riddic as she ran, encouraging him to follow.

After a few minutes, Bulma finally stopped by a particular place in the garden: It was a small lake surrounded by various flowers. She took in the majesty of the view, her eyes seemingly sparkling.

"Isn't it amazing?" She asked when Riddic finally caught up to her.

The Saiyan turned to the sight, he smiled. "It certainly is beautiful."

Bulma nodded. "This is my favorite part of the garden."

Riddic chuckled. "I can tell why." He said smiling at her.

The two continued to stare at the sight a few moments longer before Bulma twirled around to face Riddic. "You wanna play hide and seek?" She said with a smile.

Riddic placed a hand on his hip. "Sure I'm game." He turned his head and smiled. "You wanna hide first?"

Bulma tilted her head and poked her cheek, debating on whether she should hide this time. "Well...I think you should hide this time. You always find me so easily anyway."

Riddic laughed. "Alright then," He turned around. "Try to find me."

He vanished, running faster than any human thought possible. Riddic found a suitable hiding place within seconds: Along a part of the garden's path with a long line of trees. He flew up and hung upside down inside the tree, confident that the tree's many leaves will hide him well.

A few minutes passed before Bulma came along, looking in every direction for him. Riddic smirked as she passed by, continuing down the garden's walkway.

Twenty minutes passed with no sign of Bulma. Riddic crossed his arms. 'I wonder if she gave up yet.' He wondered, looking around for any signs of the two year old.

A few more minutes passed before he heard a cry for help."Bulma?" Riddic launched out of the tree and flew towards the direction of the scream.

Within seconds he spotted Bulma, she ran from a t-rex hot on her tail. Riddic rushed down, appearing in front of the massive dinosaur, the latter roared furiously.

The silver-haired Saiyan brought his fist up, smashing it into the t-rex's jaw. The dino fell on his rump, disoriented and teary eyed. Riddic landed in front of the beast.

"That should do it." He said as he crossed his arms.

Bulma rushed to him and hugged the side of his leg; tears flowed down her face. Riddic patted her head, assuring her that things where alright. She calmed down and looked up at him.

"Thank you!" She wiped the tears still hanging on her face. "I was so scared."

"It's ok Bulma, everything is fine now." Riddic looked at the t-rex. "We should really talk to your dad about these pets of his."

Bulma looked at the dinosaur, still holding on to Riddic's leg. "It's my fault that he got mad, I accidentally stepped on his tail while I was looking for you."

"Oh?" Riddic smiled. "Well if that's the case, shouldn't you apologize to him?" 'Assuming its a him...'

Bulma looked up at him, she nodded nervously, then stepped in front of the Saiyan. The t-rex stood up and eyed her. She bowed. "I'm sorry for stepping on your tail." She looked up at the dinosaur. "Can you forgive me?"

The t-rex snuffed, lowered his head and gently rubbed against the two year old. Then, he raised his head and turned around, moving off into the garden.

Riddic took a few steps forward and patted Bulma's head. "You handled that rather well."

The latter puffed out her chest. "Of course I did, what did you expect?" She had a smug look on her face. "And I found you, so I win."

Riddic rubbed the back of his head and laughed. "I guess you did didn't you?" He lowered his hand and offered it to Bulma. "Why don't we get ice cream to celebrate?"

The latter nodded, took the Saiyan's hand, and smiled. "I want strawberries on my ice cream."

3 days later...

It was a beautiful day in West City; the sun was shining, the temperature wasn't too hot nor cold, not a cloud could be seen in the sky, and Bulma was hanging off of Riddic's arm. She swung back and forth, laughing.

Riddic chuckled. "You really like this don't you?"

Bulma nodded. "Yeah, its fun!" She continued to swing on his arm, enjoying ever minute of it.

After a few more minutes, Dr. Briefs approached the two. "Well it looks like the two of you are getting along well." They both looked at him; Bulma stopped swinging and let go, landing on the ground with a thump.

"Oh, Dr. Briefs." Riddic smiled. "What's up? Taking a break?"

Dr. Briefs shook his head. "Actually I just finished, it's all ready for you." He took a puff from his cigarette and stared up at the sky. "Four days to figure out an alien spacecraft. Not bad if I do say so myself."

Riddic took a step towards the doctor. "Really? It's finished?"

Dr. Briefs nodded. "Yep, fueled up and everything. Though I found it quite surprising that the people who made this found a way to use a combination of carbon dioxide, nitrogen and several other gases as a fuel source. Easy enough to acquire or replicate mind you, but one can't help but wonder what other scientific accomplishment that race has achieved."

Riddic smiled. "I can't thank you enough doctor. I can finally go home."

He felt a slight tug on his left side, he looked down and saw Bulma looking at him, frowning and teary eyed. "I thought you liked the time we spent together..."

Riddic crouched down, he placed his hands on both of her shoulders. "I did! It was the most fun I had in years."

"If that's true, than why are you so happy to go?"

Riddic scratched his head, thinking how he should explain it to her. "It's not that I haven't had fun here, it's just that I've been away from home for 4 years. I would like to see my friends again and make sure they're alright."

That explanation didn't satisfy the spoiled two year old, she shook her head. "You don't have to go! This can be your home now! You and I are friends and I don't want you to go!"

Riddic sighed. "Bulma..." She met his gaze. "I have to go." He said with a serious face. "You see, there is this evil tyrant who has enslaved my race and committing bad things in his name. Me and my friends have been plotting to overthrow him for a while now, we are sick of taking orders from a man like him. The only reason I left was to find a way to defeat him, and I have."

He gave Bulma a half-smile. "As much as I would like to stay here and play with you, my friends need me."

Bulma sniffled. "But...But..." Tears began to pour down her face.

"Hey, this isn't the last you'll see me. I'll come back once this is all over."

Bulma wiped her face of tears. "Promise?"

Riddic smiled, he drew her in and gave her a hug. "Promise." He whispered in her ear.

After a few moments, Riddic sat up and faced Dr. Briefs. "My pod's still in the workshop?" The doctor nodded yes.

Riddic nodded back and walked to the small gray building with Dr. Briefs and Bulma following close behind. Riddic opened the door, walked to his pod, and rubbed the surface.

"Looks brand new doc." He banged on the pod, activating the automated system that opened it up. Riddic looked inside, it was spotless. He turned back to Dr. Briefs. "You didn't have to clean it."

"Actually that was my wife's doing." The doctor said as he walked over to the switch that opened the garage door, he pressed it.

"She insisted that I let her clean it. Something about appearances of some nonsense like that."He turned to Riddic. "I told her that it'll get dirty again after one landing but she just wouldn't listen." He turned around and walked outside.

Riddic smiled, he waited for his pod to close then lifted it up and walked outside. Riddic placed his Attack Pod on the ground a few feet away from the gray building. He banged on the top of his pod, waiting till it opened all the way before plopping inside.

"Thanks for everything doctor, I appreciate it. See you Bulma, we'll have more fun next time." He smiled and waved at Dr. Briefs and Bulma. "I'll come visit again soon."

Riddic's pod began to float upward, the door began to close as it went. Bulma ran a few steps forward and waved both of her hands at the pod, saying her goodbyes to her Saiyan friend. Dr. Briefs stood there with a smile on his face as he watched to pod fly off into the atmosphere.

Within moments, the pod broke through Earth's atmosphere and continued off into space. Riddic closed his eyes, thinking back on the past 2 years he spent on Earth. 'Old Man Roshi...Bulma...I promise I'll come back when this is over.'

He opened his eyes and stared out the window. 'Frieza, my father will be avenged and my people freed from your tyranny. Just you wait.'

3 months later, Somewhere in space...

Riddic slept in his pod as it speed along its path. Planets, suns, and other majestic sights passed by as the Saiyan dreamed about a scene all to familiar to him.

The throne room doors flew open. Miasma, Riddic's father, stood in the hallway, accompanied by several of his most loyal men. All of which still wore animal skins as a symbol of defiance.

"Frieza!" Miasma stormed in, his men flanked him on both side.

'What the hell are you doing father?' Riddic tracked his father, as did his brother. A smirk appeared on Gilgamesh's face.

"Miasma," King Vegeta took a step toward the veteran. "Can't you see that I'm in the middle of discussing something important with Lord Frieza?"

"I know, which is why I choose to come now." Miasma pointed his finger at Frieza. "That 'man' has enslaved the Saiyan race, and I demand that he give back our freedom."

"What are you talking about?!" The king said in a displeased manner. "He has given us gifts: technology, which have brought the Saiyan race years ahead! We are a space faring race thanks to Lord Frieza!"

Miasma shifted his gaze toward Vegeta. "The Saiyans were a space faring race long before we meet Frieza. You of all people should know this."

He placed his hand on his chest. "We were a proud, free race before we meet him and his Arcosian kind!"

He took a step toward the throne. "My king, I beg you. Cut off all ties with Frieza and his empire and restore freedom to the Saiyan race."

King Vegeta was speechless, shocked by what Miasma was asking for: Open rebellion against Frieza, and right in front of him no less!

Miasma stood straight, he turned and looked Frieza dead in his eyes. "We Saiyans are a warrior race, we have prid-"

A Death Beam ran through Miasma's chest, he fell back first onto the floor.

"These heroic speeches do bore me so." Frieza stood there, smiling.

"Father!" Riddic yelled, or at least tried to. He opened his mouth to speak, to scream out his pain, but he remained mute. Without warning, Miasma's body started to drift away from him.

Frieza's maniacal laughter echoed all around him as his father grew further and further away. Riddic chased after the body, the tyrant's laugh echoed in his head, growing louder by the second.

He kept running after his father, but no matter how far or fast he ran the distance grew at an alarming rate. Within moments, Riddic lost sight of his father. He fell on his knees, the murderer's laughter continued to mock him.

Tears pored down his face as a golden aura began to form around him, his eyes turned blue-green, his hair turned gold and began to stand up.

"FATHER!" Riddic yelled, as if screaming to the heavens as he transformed.

He awoke, sweat pored down his face. The Saiyan placed his right hand on his face, panting and gathering his thoughts.

"That was-" Riddic cut himself off as he sensed a massive power level nearby, the highest he ever felt! He looked out the window. "What the?" A blue and white planet came into view, the power he sensed emanated from it.

"Computer: Any intel on the planet I'm looking at?"

The pod beeped a few times. "Planet H7845; currently uninhabited with temperatures ranging from 15 to -120 degrees. Features include; mountains made entirely of ice, never ending snowstorms, and the occasional 'snowicane.' Valued low on the planetary market."

Riddic placed his hand on his chin. 'This power...Could it be Frieza?' He thought on that possibility for a few moments. 'Maybe he likes planets that are similar to Arcose and came here on a holiday.' He removed his hand from his chin.

"Computer, plot a course for H7845." The pod beeped, confirming his order and adjusted accordingly.

'Even if it's not Frieza, it's worth checking out.' Riddic smiled. 'And if it is...Then he just made this all the more easy for me.'

Some time later...

Riddic had been on this snow-covered wasteland of a planet for over an hour now, tracking down the power level he sensed earlier. He walked, the snowstorm was so violent that it was almost impossible to fly. Riddic shield his eyes from the burning snow; he was close now, close to the massive and terrifying power he detected.

He looked ahead, an ice mountain stood in his path. He scanned the mountain, looking for any clues as to where the being he felt went. There, to his right stood a cave.

He made his way toward it as he fought the ever falling snow. He stepped inside, relived that the snow wouldn't bother him any further. He proceeded further into the cave, only to find a sight that left him speechless. Before him sat a giant -an Arcosian by the looks of it- who appeared to be sleeping. He sat on a carved out and very detailed ice throne. His tail slung over the left side.(His left, not Riddic's)

The giant had white skin around his chest, lower arms and legs, lower torso, the end of his tail and shoulder areas. Along the sides of his arms and the front most center of his lower legs were a shade of yellowish brown. His shoulders, the top of his head and the very center of his chest were light blue. A two pointed horn stuck out of the left side of his head, on the right was a stub. The rest of the top of his head was white, as were the sides of his face. The center of his face was a grayish purple while his checks and the areas along the outer part of his face where a type of pink. The rest of his body was a shade of pink with what looked like horizontal lines framing those areas.

"Fri-Frieza?!" Riddic finally managed to say.

The giant Arcosian opened his eyes, they were red. "Frieza?" He said, his voice was deep yet showed signs of old age. The Arcosian laid his eyes on Riddic, brought up his right hand and let his head lean on it. "Do I look like King Cold's spoiled brat to you?"

Riddic raised his right eyebrow. "King Cold?"

The Arcosian took a deep breath and exhaled. "The true leader of the PTO and Frieza's father. Though I doubt you know him, he's been letting his sons run the business now. I wouldn't complain if his youngest whelp didn't go about like he does, proclaiming he's the strongest in the universe. Ha! I know 10 fighters that are stronger than he ever dreams to be, including his father."

Riddic brought up both of his hands "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down. I'm don't understand what you're saying. First off, who are you?"

The Arcosian chuckled. "I suppose it's a bit much for a Saiyan to comprehend. Especially since your race is still new to the organization. I'm sure you know Frieza and perhaps his brother Cooler, those two seem to run the PTO at the moment. However, the real leader is their father King Cold. I don't care how strong Frieza thinks he is: His father is the strongest in the universe, at least the strongest being I've ever meet."

"You still didn't answer my question."

The Arcosian smiled, he straightened in his throne. "Forgive me, it's been awhile since I've had a visitor." He sat up and brought his hand to his chest, Riddic barely came up to his lower torso.

"My name is Blizzard. As you can guess, I'm an Arcosian, and at one time the ruler of the Planet Trade Organization."

Riddic gasped. "Y-you were the leader once?"

Blizzard chuckled. "Hard to believe? I don't blame you, after all it was 300 years ago, or was it 400? The point is that was a long time ago."

Riddic eyes widened. "400 years?! Just how old are you?"

Blizzard sat back on his ice made throne. "About 1,000 years, give or take a few decades."

Riddic stared at him shocked, just how long can Arcosians live anyway?

"And before you ask," Blizzard said, snapping Riddic out of his shock. "The average Arcosian can live up to 800 years or so, I'm an anomaly sorta speak, I could drop dead any second now."

Riddic took a step towards the giant. "That's unreal! I didn't know member of your race can live for so long."

"You'll be surprised what a race like ours can accomplish," Blizzard brought his hand up, he extended his index and middle finger out and rested his head on his hand. "And the capable fighters our race can produce."

He lifted his free hand up and rubbed a certain part of the top of his head, Riddic focused on that part of his head and noticed a crack on the light blue sphere.

"I received this from Cold," Blizzard said, as if reading Riddic's mind. He moved his hand and rubbed the stub on the right side of his head. "And this as well. Bastard snapped off my right side horn."

He leaned back on his throne. "You see, a long time ago. Cold and I fought each other for ownership over the PTO. At the time he was a youngster full of potential and I, at the prime of my life, accepted his challenge without a second thought."

Blizzard smiled. "I thought I could defeat him easily. Oh was I wrong, he destroyed me. I never stood a chance. He would have killed me too if he didn't respect me. So I was banished from Arcose and all of the planets controlled by the PTO. My family was exiled as well, where they are or if any of them survived to this day I do not know. Not that it matters, I'll be dead soon anyway."

Riddic stared at the Arcosian in pity. He was much different than Frieza, hell Blizzard made him rethink the Arcosian race as a whole. However, one thing didn't sit right with him. "Why are you telling me this?"

Blizzard sighed. "I don't really know. Knowing you're close to the edge is a kind of freedom. A good time to reflect on one's life and perhaps share that life with others to judge. So perhaps I'm doing just that, telling you this so I can hear what you think or perhaps I'm telling you this to entertain you, after all you are the first visitor since...well since I've been on this exile I think."

Riddic smiled. "Reflection eh? Well-" Riddic cut himself off. "Wait...If I'm the first visitor since you've been in exile and you've been here for 400 years, how do you know about the current status of the PTO?"

Blizzard laughed. "Very observant of you. Even though I'm no longer the leader of the PTO, I still hold a bit of influence in the organization."

He reached down the side of his throne and pulled out a small handheld device of some kind. It was small, round, and had a smooth glass like surface. "This is an old communication device used during my reign. I receive updates on the current status of the PTO through one of my loyalists. 400 years and I still have the command and respect of many of my soldiers and the generations that followed."

"You see, unlike Frieza or his father. I didn't use my soldiers as cannon fodder or kill them for little to no reason. Yes I had them fear me, but they respected me and for that I did whatever I could to make sure that my men came back alive."

Blizzard frowned. "Of course, I didn't save every soldier. I had to keep up my appearance and encourage my men to become the best so that they could survive. That went right down the drain when Cold took over, needlessly sacrificing his men. Frieza picked up the same habit but he's worse. All of my hard work establishing strong lines of soldiers have been wasted, if not the PTO would have probably ruled the universe by now."

"I guess that's a good thing, in a way." Riddic said with a stern face.

"All depending on a matter of perspective." Blizzard responded. "Good for some, bad for others, in the end not everyone can be a winner. I learned that long ago." Blizzard chuckled. "Right around the time when I lost to Cold, funny thing was that he was is the 1st transformed state when he beat me. Now I believe he's in the 2nd due to a duel he had with one of his sons to test their power or something. I don't pay attention to such details anymore."

Riddic raised his eyebrow. "Wait, what do you mean transformed state?"

Blizzard blinked a few times. "Oh I'm sorry, I thought you knew. You see, Arcosians tend to be born with high power levels even though the majority of our race devote themselves to the sciences. The average power for an Arcosian maxes around sixty million, of course you have standouts like the Cold family and myself. Most Arcosians cannot handle their full powers right away, so they end up accidentally destroying and/or killing things."

Blizzard gazed at Riddic for a few minutes to see if he understood what he was explaining to him. Satisfied, he continued."To help manage these massive powers, we have transform states which act more like restraints on our powers. You can even think of it as a shell. With time and training an Arcosian can fully master their powers, but until then they take on these 'lower' states until they think they can handle it or have need of their power."

Riddic placed his hand on his chin. "If that's true, then killing Frieza will be harder than I thought."

Blizzard laughed. "You plan on killing that spoiled brat? Good! He deserves to die!" He laughed for a few more moments before staring at Riddic with a serious face. "You best be prepared to fight Cold as well, he definitely wouldn't stand for his favorite son's murder."

Riddic nodded. "Right, thanks for the warning."

Riddic rubbed the back of his head. "Um, Blizzard? Could you tell me more about these transformed stated you Arcosians can go through? I could use all the information I can get."

Blizzard closed his eyes. "I suppose I can show you." He sat up, took a few steps from his throne, and spread his legs apart. "As you can see, I'm in the 2nd transformed state. There are two more beyond this one, now watch as I morph into the 3rd."

He yelled, low at first but gradually grew louder. He leaned forward, two large spikes grew out of his back. Then, his shoulders seemed to pop out and grew outward. (About the same length as the Battle Armor model Dadoria wore.) Next, Blizzard's face stretched, his horn and stub receded into his head and the back of his head grew. His face continued to stretch, a round duck-like face popped out in the center, making the Arcosian's face look fat. His waist shrunk and two spikes grew out of each side or Blizzard's head, finishing the transformation.

"This is the 3rd form, pretty right?" Blizzard said sarcastically, his voice became more...creepy.

Riddic looked the studied the form, it was ugly sure but it looked tough and Blizzard's power level increased a bit. "Each transformation unlocks more power for use right? So is this form's power level a good indication for an Arcosian's full power in the final form?"

Blizzard laughed. "Usually, no it's not. When one of us transforms from this form to the final, our power can increase by ten times or more."

Riddic nodded. "Ok...Well can I see you're final form?"

Blizzard smirked. "Sure, this form isn't much to look at anyway."

He spread his legs apart again and brought up his fists, he yelled. Gradually for the next few minutes, cracks formed throughout Blizzard's body.

'Each transformation takes a certain amount of time.' Riddic thought. 'I'll have to keep that in mind.'

After a few more minutes, the Arcosian's body seemed to exploded. A gust of wind blew outward, making Riddic stumble back a few feet. He looked at the Arcosian; he was much smaller now, -still taller than Riddic since he is now up to Blizzard's chest- his body more sleek and elegant, with the exception of the light blue sphere like parts on his head, shoulders, chest, arms, and legs, his skin was whitish gray.

"This...Is my true form." He said, his voice was more noble sounding with hints of old age.

The power emanating from this form was awe inspiring, almost 100 times what Riddic felt before.

Blizzard looked down at his hands and smiled. "I almost forgotten what this feels like, the pinnacle of one's power." He smirked. "And it's still wouldn't have been enough to defeat Cold, not if I let him transform anyway."

Riddic stood speechless, not from the power he felt from Blizzard but from the fact that with this power Blizzard still couldn't defeat Cold. 'What kind of monster is he?'

Blizzard meet the Saiyan's gaze and frowned. "By your reaction I assume you realize how powerful Cold really is. If I had to guess, he might be twice as powerful as me in this form. I can increase my power a bit more though but it wouldn't make a difference against someone like him." The Arcosian took a step toward's Riddic. "So tell me, now that you have an idea of how strong your enemy is what will you do?"

Riddic stared at the ground, he clenched his fist. "I will fight, no matter how powerful my opponent is. I've come to far and sacrificed too much to turn back now." He looked up at Blizzard and smirked. "Besides, we Saiyans have a tendency to fight powerful opponents. Fighting is in our blood after all."

Blizzard smiled. "Good answer." He flew up, drifted back and landed on his throne, though his new form's size made it impossible to cover the whole thing. "I hope you have some sort of plan, otherwise it'll be a short fight."

Riddic laughed. "I have a few surprises in store for them."

Blizzard nodded. "You'll need every advantage you can muster if you want to take down Cold."

He smiled. "Allow me to offer you a chance to claim another. Recently, I have heard tales of a planet whose inhabitants seem to posses the ability to warp anywhere they chose. A handy trick no? I can find out the location of this planet if you wish. Should be easy enough with my contacts in the PTO. Would be a nice addition to your arsenal, especially since you're declaring war on the Cold family."

Riddic thought on it, the ability to warp anywhere you wish would have its advantages against an opponent like King Cold.

He nodded. "Sure, that ability could decide the outcome of a fight. If Cold's as powerful as you claim he is, than that technique would be invaluable."

Blizzard reached for the comm device he showed earlier, it sat on the arm of his throne. He grabbed it and pressed a button, a hologram of a PTO soldier popped up few moments later.

The hologram saluted. "You called my lord?"

"Yes, I need the coordinates for the planet rumored to have natives with the ability to warp anywhere they wish."

The soldier nodded. "I'll see to it immediately." The hologram vanished, Blizzard placed the device on his right side.

"And now we wait..."

Age 737, approaching Planet Vegeta

"Approaching Planet Vegeta. ETA: 3 minutes." The automated voice reported.

Riddic rested his head on his hand, he stared out the window. 'I hope you're ready for this Roy. Our coup will cause a galactic war with the PTO...and Frieza's father.' He continued to stare into space when something caught his attention; a single Attack Pod flying off into space, almost along the same direction he came from.

'Must be a Saiyan heading off on a mission. That'll be the last planet 'cleansed' by a Saiyan in the name of Frieza.'

The last 3 minutes flew by in silence, his pod breached the planet's atmosphere and began his decent. The Attack Pod landed on the special landing pad made to catch and absorb the pod's velocity, preventing it from crashing into the planet's surface. Riddic stepped out, he looked around and noticed another pod next to his; the inside was covered in blood.

Two soldiers in black and cyan armor rushed out to meet him. The taller of the pair was of a human species and the other a humanoid who looked like a fish man with his big red lips and yellow skin; both wore helmets and had green Scouters.

"Must be a busy day with all the returns we're getting." The tall PTO trooper said. "So how'd the mission go?"

Riddic smiled, glad that the two troopers on duty didn't seem to know him. "A success, in fact my greatest accomplishment yet."

"That's good to hear." The same trooper replied. "I'm sure Lord Frieza will be pleased with your work."

Riddic passed the trooper as he finished. 'Oh trust me, he will be.'

The shorter PTO trooper pointed at Riddic's dark green sweatpants. "What's with the pants?" He asked.

Riddic turned around. "It's a souvenir from the planet I went to. Much more comfortable than those spandex pants I had." He answered with a smirk then quickly walked off before the two asked anymore questions.

After walking down the hallways for several minutes, the silver-haired Saiyan checked to see that he wasn't being followed. Satisfied, he reached up and pressed the button on his Scouter, activating the comm function.

"Roy, I'm on the surface. Where are you?"

"I'm in the usual place with my crew. Glad to hear you made it in one piece."

"Same." Riddic looked down the dark hallway. "I'm not that far away from there. Should be there in a few minutes."

"We'll be waiting."

Riddic pressed the button again, switching off the comm link. He continued to walk to his destination when he heard a yell echo through the hall.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Riddic stopped dead in his tracks, he closed his eyes and felt for any nearby life forms that might have been the source of the yell. He detected one further down the hall. Riddic rushed down towards it.

After a few moments he came across a small pool of blood, still fresh. He continued down the path when he spotted a Saiyan covered in wounds and blood leaning on the wall. A closer look at him revealed a scar on his left check. He had a red headband, a red armband around his right arm, and his black and green armor was cracked in various places and some parts were missing. Riddic rushed to the Saiyan's side. "Hey are you alright?"

The Saiyan breathed heavily for a few moments. "Fr-Frieza...He's coming here."

Riddic raised his eyebrows, he couldn't believe this. "How do you know?"

The Saiyan turned his head at Riddic, the latter recognized him now: It was Bardock, one of the few Saiyans his father praised.

"It's hard to explain..." He paused, still panting for breath. "I just know that he's coming here. He's coming to kill us all!"

Riddic stood there for a moment and let it all sink in. Frieza was coming here to destroy the Saiyans, whether this was due to some particular reason or just the tyrants sick sense of fun he did not know. Regardless, Frieza just made his job all the more easier for revealing himself out in the open. Overconfidence tended to make one sloppy, status or strength be damned. The tyrant unknowingly sealed his fate, judgement was at hand.

Riddic smiled. "Perfect."

Power Levels

Blizzard (2nd Form): 2.5 million

Blizzard (3rd Form): 3.2 million

Blizzard (4th Form): 120 million (Full Power) 140 million

And this concludes the 1st chapter/saga of Z SS. Long right?(As in the chapter not this entry ;) Took me FOREVER to finish up with Earth, glad I managed to do so.

As usual, let me address some things:

For those of you unfamiliar with Tights, she is featured in a manga called Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, another creation of Akira Toriyama and it goes along with Dragon Ball, but Tights was never seen in the Dragon Ball universe(to my knowledge anyway).

Also, the reason why I portrayed Bulma to be smarter that the average kid is cause the whole GENIUS inheritance that the Briefs family seems to have going for them and *SPOILER*in the manga I mentioned before she repairs an alien space ship when she was 5, go figure.

Also, with the whole Attack Pod fuel thing. I though that would be a suitable source if you look at the Planet Arcose. Its basically a frozen wasteland with little breathable air. So how did these people come up fuel for there spaceships when they first became a space fairing race? Well, they either made fuel via the gases in the air, with some type of mineral found on Arcose, or they relied on some other fossil fuel that was found on Arcose. Given the planet I would go with gases since Arcose is a dump and they probably had trouble finding physical resources to use anyway.

Now on to Blizzard, he's an OC of mine. One of those ppl who knows he's gonna die soon due to old age so he's in that observant/reflex mood that ppl get into when they're in a situation like that. In his prime, he acted like Cooler. (Reference foreshadowing if u catch my meaning) In a sense he's helping Riddic to pay Cold back and in another way helping him out to do something significant with his remaining life.

I bet some of you can guess what planet Blizzard was telling Riddic about, well u'll find out defiantly in the next entry.

Now that Riddic has returned home and learned the Frieza is on his way to destroy the Saiyan race, will his revenge be completed or will he suffer not only the loss of his father but his entire race to this galactic tyrant? And what about the rest of the Cold family? Just how will Riddic deal with Frieza's brother Cooler and the most powerful fighter in the universe King Cold? Find out, next time on Z SS!
