Ch 2 Uprising - Battle of Planet Vegeta

"Perfect." Riddic said with a smile.

Finally, the moment drawn near for his revenge. Frieza; a tyrant who ruled much of the known galaxy was coming here. The wounded Saiyan in front of him: Bardock, told him this. He somehow knew Frieza was coming. How? Riddic didn't know, but if he was right it would save him a LOT of effort.

Bardock panted heavily, his wounds didn't look fatal but he was losing a lot of blood. He turned away from Riddic and continued down the hallway, using the wall as a balance as he went.

"Where you going?" Riddic asked as he walked after Bardock, the latter wasn't moving very fast due to his injuries.

"I have to...warn the others." He said with some difficulty. "There still...might be a way to...to change the future."

"Future?" Riddic said aloud, he didn't quite understand what Bardock meant.

Regardless, Bardock was right. They were in a hurry, Frieza was coming to kill them all and the Saiyan race had to know...given that Bardock is right of course.

Riddic picked the wounded Saiyan over his shoulder. "It'll be faster this way." He said before Bardock could offer any complaints.

With Riddic's help, he and Bardock moved down the hall at a quicker pace. The latter looked at him, as if seeing him for the first time. Bardock studied Riddic's face with great interest, he felt like they met before.

"I know you..." He said trying to hide the pain in his voice.

Riddic chuckled, he looked at Bardock. "You probably recognized my face from someone you knew. Does the name Miama sound familiar?"

Bardock's eyes widened a bit as he remembered the name. "You're Miama's son?" He said, surprised. He thought that Miama's entire family died out, especially after the rebellion the man started.

Riddic nodded. "That's right, my name's Riddic. I've been biding my time all these years since my father was killed by that murderer. Waiting for the right time to strike and end Frieza and his reign of terror on our people."

Bardock stared at him in silence for a few moments before chuckling. "Looks like we're after the same thing, only my reasons are a little less noble than yours."

After a few more minutes, the pair reached their destination: A local pub, filled with Saiyans partaking in their usual activities in such a place; drinking, eating, gloating of a successful mission or gossiping over the current situation of the PTO and of course the occasional 'wooing' of a mate. It was here, at this very place that Riddic, Roy, Gilgamesh, and the rest of their crews plotted to assassinate Frieza and free the Saiyan race.

Before the doors to the pub opened, Bardock push away from Riddic insisting that he could walk fine on his own. He walked in, fine at first than fell face first into a nearby table causing the thing to tip and the food and drink on it to fall onto the floor. A Saiyan male using the table sat up, annoyed at Bardock's action.

"What's the big idea pal?" He said, bringing his hand up and clenching his fist. "I just got back from a mission, about to relax and eat when you show up and ruin it!" He picked Bardock off the floor, holding him by his ruined Battle Armor. "So how are you going to fix this mess?"

Everyone else watching remain silent, curious what would happen next and some, if not most, hoping it would turn into a fight, perhaps even an all out brawl.

Bardock grabbed the ignorant Saiyan's hand. "Listen to me, we don't have to for this."

The latter tightened his grip in response. "Oh? Don't we now? Who do you think yo-"

The Saiyan was cut mid-sentence, courtesy of Riddic's fist promptly applied to his face. The man was sent flying into a nearby table, breaking it. He was knocked out, or perhaps dead: Riddic didn't care at the time.

He looked at Bardock. "Conversation was going nowhere."

Before Bardock could say anything, another Saiyan walked up to the two of them. One that the silver-haired Saiyan knew quite well.

"I didn't peg you as the aggressive type Riddic." She said with a smile. Riddic and Bardock looked in her direction, a big grin formed on the forward's face when he realized who it was.

"May!" Riddic said, clapping onto her shoulders. "It's been too long!"

She smiled, patting Riddic on the shoulder. "Yeah well that tends to happen when you go missing for 6 years."

Riddic chuckled, he let his arms drop to his sides. "I suppose so, though I couldn't help it. So many things happened."

May nodded, she was well as Roy, Ragu and Travis were expecting a full explanation on his 'adventures.'

"So where are the others?" Riddic asked.

May turned her head to the still idle Saiyan crowd. "Ragu and Travis are among the crowd, probably messing with someone like usual." She turned back to Riddic and smiled. "As for Roy-"

"-Why don't you ask him yourself?" A familiar voice said behind him.

Riddic smiled, turned around, and locked hands with his old friend.

"I see you're doing well, my long lost friend."Roy said with a smile.

Riddic nodded. "I can say the same for you. You've gotten much stronger."

Roy nodded, about to add something when Bardock interrupted. "We don't have time for this!" He shoved past the two, facing the crowd. "Listen everyone! Frieza is coming for us!"

This sprung some live into the crowd, they muttered amongst themselves as they stared at Bardock in confusion.

"Its true!" Bardock pleaded, trying to convince his fellow Saiyans. "He's scared of us, of what we might become! He wants to get rid of us before we rise up against him!" He clenched his fist in anger. "That freak murdered my crew; Fasha, Borgos, Shugesh, even my best friend Tora...Frieza killed them! He killed them all!"

A few moments pasted, it felt like everyone in the room was frozen in time. Riddic stared at Bardock in sympathy and respect. "So that's why...Got to say, most Saiyans wouldn't care for revenge of fallen comrades." He muttered to himself.

Suddenly, a few Saiyans started to laugh historically. They were gradually joined by most of the crowd, they though Bardock was pulling a fast one on everyone here. A joke instead of the cold, harsh truth that it was.

"So Bardock's crew bites the dust and its the end of the world right?"

"Maybe you guys should stop pretending to be elites! A warrior has to know his limits!"

"Welcome to the real world Bardock! It hurts doesn't it?"

Bardock stared at the crowd in shock, completely blown away by how oblivious they were to the truth. They continued their comments regardless.

"So Freiza's scared of us eh? Well we should tell him we'll leave him alone if he bows down whenever he's in the presence of a Saiyan!"

"Haha! Forget that! That guy has to kiss my stinkin feet!"

"Hahaha! Yeah, mine too!"

"Bow down before me Frieza! And while you're down there. kiss my stinkin feet!"

Bardock clenched his fist, he had enough of their ignorance. "Fool's you're all dead!" He yelled, silencing the crowd.

"He's coming here to commit mass genocide on our entire race! Why can't you idiots understand that?!"

The Saiyans stared at him, still thinking this was a joke.

"Come on Bardock, taking this a little too far aren't you?"

"Stop messing with us and have a drink for crying out loud!"

Bardock took a few steps back, disgusted with his fellow Saiyans. "Fine. Believe what you want. I'm going to try and stop him!" And with that, he stormed out of the room. Riddic and his friends watched as he left.

Roy shrugged. "I'd be inclined to believe him, if he had some proof."

Riddic looked at his best friend. "Oh but he is right, Frieza is here." Roy and May stared at Riddic with shock and curiosity.

"For real?" Roy asked. "How do you know?"

Riddic sighed slightly, he knew this was going to hard for them to understand. "I didn't notice it earlier, but I can sense him approaching. He's approaching Vegeta's atmosphere, probably in his ship looking down at the planet thinking on how to end it all as we speak."

Roy raised his eyebrow. "Sensed?" Riddic brushed his question off, calming that there will have plenty of time to explain later.

He smiled. "Besides, he's on our home turf. We can't miss a golden opportunity like this."

Roy and May nodded, understanding that the time for talk will come, but now was the time for their revenge. Riddic and May ran out into the hall, Roy followed shortly after calling Ragu and Travis to join them. The five traversed the passageways, then up a flight of spiral stars and out onto the roof of a tower. Bardock stood a little ways away, he was looking at the sky.

"Bardock!" Riddic moved towards the man, the latter turned around surprised that they followed him.

"What are-" He cut himself off, realizing the reason of their arrival. Bardock closed his eyes and chuckled. "I see..." He opened his eyes, looking directly into Riddic's. "Just what I expect from the son of Miasma."

"We do have the same goal after all." Riddic gave Bardock a thumbs up. "Let's see this through to the end."

Bardock smiled. "Till the bitter end." He turned around, his aura flashed around him and he took off towards the sky.

Riddic turned his head towards Roy and his crew, Roy nodded and with one gesture of his hand he and his crew sped after Bardock. Riddic looked on as his friends went and laughed out loud. He still couldn't believe how easy Frieza made it for them, hovering over their planet as if begging for some Saiyan to try something. Not that he didn't have a good reason to do so, in the Arcosian's mind he was the strongest in the universe. Who in their right mind would challenge someone as powerful as that?

Riddic's aura flashed around him as he prepared to join his friends. 'You're going to have one major reality check Frieza, I'll see to it personally.' He launched from the tower, quickly catching up to his friends as the entered Planet Vegeta's atmosphere.

A few minutes past before Frieza's ship came into view. Bardock smiled, he sped ahead of the group, eager to end the murderer's life. Riddic smiled, everything was coming to head. Ragu shouted, pointing to the ship: The lower section opened up, releasing hordes of troops all racing to intercept them.

Roy laughed. "So the cannon fodder want to play?"

Bardock let out a battle cry and rushed towards the horde. Ragu and Travis followed close behind, May looked at Roy, blew a kiss, and sped after the three.

Riddic looked at Roy with eyebrow raised and a smile. "So you and May are an item now eh?"

Roy returned the look, a big grin on his face. "As of a month ago, you wouldn't believe how many other Saiyans I had to defeat before they gave up on her."

Riddic crossed his arms and nodded. "Well that's to be expected, after all she is quite the looker."

Roy smirked. "Ahh. Are you perhaps jealous?"

Riddic laughed, he looked at Roy. "You wish." He reached over and patted his friend's shoulder. "Just happy for you Roy."

Instead of letting go, Riddic pulled Roy closer. "Listen, keep an eye on Bardock, make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. The man's wounded after all."

Roy nodded. "You got it. It shouldn't be too much of a problem given our current fighting power."

Riddic smiled, he knew better than Roy thought he knew how strong his friends have become.

"Right, just keep these guys occupied. I'll handle Frieza." He said.

"Well you might want to hurry," Roy pointed at Bardock, the man was literally plowing threw Frieza's soldiers, carving a path towards the ship. "Bardock has a major lead on you."

Riddic placed his index and middle finger on his forehead. "He could be in the ship right now and he still wouldn't beat me."

Roy looked at his friend in amusement. "That confident on your speed?"

Riddic let out a short chuckle. "Watch this." He vanished, Roy looked around for any trace of his friend but found none.

He laughed. "Well I'll be damned. I got to ask him how he does that."

Without a second thought on the matter, Roy sped towards the ongoing battle between Frieza's troopers and his crew plus Bardock.

A few minutes ago, aboard Frieza's ship.

King Vegeta stormed through the passageways of Frieza's ship, blasting anyone in his way. He lead a squad of his finest elite warriors, their mission: to kill Frieza and shatter his iron grip on the Saiyan race. Though the king normally wouldn't dare do such a thing, the tyrant's latest move infuriated him to no end.

Frieza 'asked' to have his son and only worthy heir to the throne. This move was the trigger to a giant tinder box of complaints and aggravations King Vegeta withheld for the longest time, but this, THIS was the final straw.

No more begging and graveling, no more bowing down or blind obedience to a man, an Arcosian, a murderous maniac, who didn't give a damn about what happens to those in his service, who plays with life so callously, who considers himself the most powerful being in the universe...and a god.

Something had to be done. Even if his actions would end up killing him he had to do something, something that told Frieza that he couldn't do whatever he wished to the Saiyan race without repercussions. King Vegeta felt a bit of a deja vu, he remembered a time years ago when a proud, respected Saiyan did the exact same thing as he was doing now.

The Saiyan elites cleared the hallway, standing aside as their king passed by.

Vegeta closed his eyes, he found it funny. 'Here at the end, I find myself following in your footsteps. I only regret not acting sooner.'

He opened his eyes as the doors opened, revealing his target, the enemy of all Saiyans: Frieza. The Arcosian sat in his hover craft, flanked by his lieutenants: Dodoria and Zarbon.

King Vegeta stepped over the thresh hold, glaring at the man he was determined to kill or die trying. 'Hopefully my actions here today will be enough for you to forgive my blunder, my old friend.'

"Frieza!" He pointed at the tyrant. "I've come here to end this! Prepare yourself!"

Frieza, Zarbon and Dodoria laughed at the Saiyan king, Frieza hoped out of his hover craft and walked over to him. Frieza placed his hands behind his back and smirked. "By all means, Vegeta."

King Vegeta started his attack with a left hook, Frieza side stepped the attack at alarming speed. Shocked but still determined, King Vegeta followed up with a right cop to the neck. Frieza didn't dodge this one but didn't need to, for the attack was too weak to hurt him in the slightest. This alarmed the Saiyan king even further, he took two steps back, shaking his head in disbelief.

"I knew there was a difference in power, but for it to be that great of a gap."

Sweat began to pore down King Vegeta's face, he tried his best not to show fear. He balled up both of his fists, a vein popped out on his forehead pulsing in anger.

"We Saiyans are a warrior race, and I am their KING! I'm the most powerful Saiyan, an elite among elites, so why?"

Frieza chuckled. "Well it might be true that you're one of the most powerful of your race, I am the most powerful being in the universe. That means I'm the most powerful out of all the races in this existence, including the Saiyan race." The Arcosian smirked. "You're a fool for thinking you stood a chance, Vegeta."

"THAT'S NOT TRUE!" King Vegeta yelled, firing his signature Execution Wave at almost point black range.

Purple light flashed around as the attack engulfed Frieza. King Vegeta smiled, sure of his victory when an all to familiar laughter rang in his ears. He turned around, his face stricken with horror. Frieza hung in midair, between Vegeta and his Saiyan elite.

"As much as I would like to prolong your futile attempts to kill me, I have a schedule to keep." Frieza drifted closer to the petrified King Vegeta. "Planets to destroy, entire species to eradicate, the usual fun that accompanies running an empire."

Before Vegeta could react, Frieza headbutted him. He fell to the floor, blood poured down his face. His Saiyan warriors cried out, wishing they could do something against the terrifying power that Frieza possessed.

King Vegeta struggled to move, much less get up. Frieza landed, he shook his head in playful disappointment. "Oh dear, the king of monkeys fell on his tail. Oh whatever shall we do."

He eyed the other Saiyans as he said the last bit, already knowing that they wouldn't dare attack him but seeing if he could provoke one of them to take action. Despite what the Arcosian said earlier, he found this rather entertaining and wanted to make the most of it before it came to an end.

However, none of the Saiyans made a move. Frieza turned back to King Vegeta, the latter was still struggling on the ground, glaring at him with one eye. Frieza extended his index finger, preparing to use his finishing move.

"Thus ends the role of King Vegeta, last of the great poop throwing monkeys." He chuckled at his own joke, his finger tip glowed purple.

King Vegeta continue to stare into the Arcosian's red eyes but his thoughts laid elsewhere. He though about Miasma, how his rebellion failed and his regret on not joining with him, now that he and the entire Saiyan race would soon share his fate.

He though of his son, Prince Vegeta, and how he will be raised by this ruthless monster. King Vegeta only regretted not being able to change that fate, for his son would turn out to be just like Frieza.

"Any last words, Vegeta?" Frieza asked, truly not caring if the king did or not, he just wanted Vegeta's end to be a bit dramatic. King Vegeta managed to raise his upper body, he glared into the Arcosian's eyes.

"Just get it over with." He said reluctantly, as much as he wanted to change it the Saiyan king already excepted his fate.

Frieza smiled. "With pleasure, your grace." He fired his Death Beam.

Vegeta closed his eyes, bracing himself for the end.

A few moments pasted, nothing seemed to have happened. King Vegeta began to wonder if Frieza even fired his beam at all, or if he was already dead. His mind continued to drift in thought when he heard Frieza gasp, that was all the proof Vegeta needed to know he was still alive but why?

King Vegeta opened his eyes, in front of him stood a Saiyan, a silver-haired Saiyan in dark and blue armor, and strange dark green baggy pants. Vegeta didn't recognized him, he couldn't have been part of the assault force he brought, so where did he come from? The Saiyan king looked at Frieza, the Arcosian looked surprised.

"Looks like I made it just in time." The silver-haired Saiyan said, he looked back at King Vegeta. "I never expected you of all people to rise up against Frieza, you were always the one who made sure our people got along with the PTO." He shrugged. "I guess you had enough."

King Vegeta studied the young Saiyan's face, he looked familiar. It took a few moments for the Saiyan king to realize who was standing before him. "You're...One of Miasma's sons."

"Bingo." He said with a wink. "The name's Riddic, since you seemed to have forgotten."

Riddic turned back toward Frieza, but his focus was the other Saiyans watching from the doorway. "There's a battle outside between some of your fellow Saiyans and Frieza's men, why don't you lot go and join in? Unless you prefer to stand there all day."

"We can't abandon the king!" One of the elites responded.

Riddic smiled. "I'll take care of him. You'll just be in the way here."

The same elite opened his mouth, about to respond when King Vegeta interrupted. "Go, I'll be fine." He managed to pick himself up, standing next to Riddic he looked at the faces of the Saiyan warriors. "We'll handle Frieza, you men go and secure our escape route."

The elites hesitated for a few moments, they looked at their king as if they might never see him again before heading off to the battle outside.

Frieza laughed. "That's right, send them off to fight my expendable troops. Let them die fighting the good fight." He took a step towards Riddic. "I have no idea where you came from, but if you think that deflecting my blast, as impressive as that is, proves that you can defeat me, you're surely mistaken."

Riddic smiled. "That's right Frieza. Keep assuring yourself that you are the best. It'll be all the more fun when I prove to you that you're the one who's surely mistaken."

Frieza smirked. "Is that a fact?" He looked at Dodoria, the latter met his master's gaze and nodded. He crept towards Riddic, trying to catch the Saiyan off guard.

Suddenly, Riddic put on a serious face, aimed his left hand towards the fat, pink, spike-headed minion and fired an energy blast at him. All while keeping his gaze on Frieza. The blast consumed Dodoria, setting him ablaze. He screamed as he ran around in a desperate attempt to put out the flames, but to no avail.

Eventually, he fell on the floor dead but still on fire. To Zarbon's horror, Dodoria burned to ashes before him.

"I have no time for small fry." Riddic stated in a serious tone. Frieza grinned angrily at him but before the tyrant could say something Riddic continued to speak. "The inside of a ship is a bit too cramped for our fight. Shall we move this outside?"

Frieza chuckled. "I find it amusing that you, a monkey, are concerned about the well being of my ship."

Riddic smiled. "Why of course, I plan on taking this ship for myself. After I kill you, of course."

Frieza found this even more amusing, he chuckled to himself some more. "Someone's confident. Very well, if you prefer the void of space to be your grave then the floor of my ship I will gladly grant your wish."

Riddic smiled, he placed his index and middle fingers on his forehead and placed his free hand on King Vegeta's shoulder. "See you outside." He and the king vanished, amazing Frieza and Zarbon.

"How does he do that?" Frieza mumbled to himself. "I must get him to tell me how he does that. Never know when such a technique could come in handy."

He looked at his right hand man. "Zarbon." The latter snapped to attention when he heard his name. "I want you to find that silver-haired monkey and bring him to me. I'll be waiting outside the ship."

Zarbon acknowledged, he rushed off to complete his task. Frieza looked out the large round window of his spaceship, he looked over the battlefield, from the looks of it his troops were starting to be overwhelmed. He'll just have to handle this himself, after his 'duel' with this young Saiyan who obviously had a death wish.

Frieza smiled, looking forward to the following events that could turn this into the best day of his life.

Outside, immediantly following Riddic's Instant Transmission.

Ziip! Riddic and King Vegeta stood afloat in the middle of the battle between a select few Saiyans and the majority of Frieza's current garrison of PTO troops. King Vegeta looked around in confusion, a second ago they where in Frieza's ship and now they where outside. Riddic looked at the Saiyan king, a bit amused at his confusion.

"King Vegeta." Riddic said getting his attention. "I need you to return to the surface. Warn the others what's happening here."

King Vegeta raised his eyebrow. "Are you suggesting that I run away from this fight?"

"I'm suggesting that you tell our race what's happening and take control of the surface. They're are still PTO soldiers on the ground that we have yet to deal with." Riddic turned his body to Vegeta. "I'd prefer if you can take some of them alive for the next stage of my plan and don't worry about Frieza. I'll finish him."

King Vegeta shook his head. "Who are you to order the King of Saiyans around? And what plan? What are you talking about?"

Riddic clenched his fists. "I'll explain it all to you later, but right now I need you to see that this is done. The fate of our race depends on it."

Before King Vegeta could add anything, Riddic took off towards Frieza's ship. He was determined to see this mess end as quick as possible, for he knew that this was only the beginning of their fight for freedom.

May held her own in the surrounding chaos, taking out any foolish enough to take her on. It was almost too easy. She was debating on ditching these fools and take a shoot at Frieza when she spotted someone that could prove a challenge: Zarbon. The pretty boy was flying around the battlefield, looking for someone or something.

May didn't really care about his reasons, coming onto the battlefield meant you where an open target for anyone here, and that included herself. She flew towards Zarbon, cutting him off from his search. "What's up primadonna?" She said, making fun of his femininity. "Looking for someone? A date perhaps?"

Zarbon chuckled. "Oh look, a female monkey who doesn't know any better. What are the odds?"

May smirked. "Cute. Seriously though, what do you think you're doing flying around the battlefield like a jackass?"

Zarbon smirked. "I'm afraid that's a secret. Besides, a monkey like you wouldn't understand. Now get out of my way if you know what's good for you."

May crossed her arms. "Is that a fact? Guess I don't know what's 'good for me.'" She uncrossed her arms and took a battle stance. Zarbon smiled and did the same. "You're making a mistake, women."

May smiled back. "Never underestimate the power of a Saiyan women. That's a fact I'll teach you personally."

Daizu was a humanoid soldier in the service of Lord Frieza, with red skin, long white scruffy hair, and two short black horns sticking out of his head. He was considered an elite, even on the same level as Dodoria and Zarbon.

So why!? Why was he being pushed back by two Saiyans? Two Saiyans that looked to be barely out of their teens!

To make matters worse, he knew the two; Ragu and Travis. The three of them went on a mission once, he despised the pair afterward. Always clowning around, making fun of anything in a sad attempt at entertainment.

"Nothing personal Daizu." The Saiyan Travis said as they clashed in battle. "Just an unfortunate twist of fate." He dashed away, Daizu knew what was coming and turned around, barely catching the sneak attack.

The other Saiyan, Ragu smiled. "Not that we liked you in the first place." Ragu added. "You were always to stiff for our taste."

"Is that right?" Daizu pushed Ragu away, the latter launched an energy blast at the humanoid. Daizu pushed it aside, the blast collided with a nearby PTO trooper, killing him.

Daizu rushed at Ragu, the two launched a volley of punches at one another, matching blow for blow. Just then, Travis appeared above the two and fired an energy wave.

Ragu jumped away, leaving Daizu free to counter the wave with his own. The two collided, then exploded, creating a small smokescreen above. Daizu moved to jump into the smoke, but he forgot he was fighting two opponents.

Ragu rushed at Daizu, the latter realize his mistake too late and received a punch in the gut. Then, as if on cue, Travis emerged from the smokescreen and punched Daizu with a hard right. The latter flew a few feet before catching himself. He looked at the Saiyan pair and smiled.

Daizu laughed, much to his opponents confusion. "I'll admit, the two of you have greatly improved since we last met." Daizu smirked, he was actually having fun in this fight. Unprecedented yes, since he never fought someone who was a challenge to him, and here he fought two.

He pushed back a lock of hair dangling over his eye and extended his right hand and fingers.

"Alright then." Energy surrounded his right arm and extended down past his longest finger, it took the form of a blade.

Daizu raised his blade arm to his chest. "Round two."

May and Zarbon traded punch for punch, kick for kick, they seemed evenly matched as their brawl continued.

'It's not possible!' Zarbon thought distressed. 'This Saiyan is able to hold her own against me?!' He remembered the silver-haired Saiyan from before, the one who destroyed Dodoria so easily. 'Is she with him?'

Zarbon dodged a blow aimed at his face. "Hey! Are you trying to damage my beautiful face?"

May threw another punch aimed at the feministic humaniod's face. "Something like that." She said with a smile.

Zardon dashed away from the Saiyan. "You have no appreciation for beautiful things." He extended his hand forward, yellow energy pulsed as Zarbon prepared his Elegant Blaster. "And you call yourself a women."

He fired the wave, it screamed towards May. Quickly, she barely dodged the wave, it came so close she could feel the heat emanating from it.

She exhaled, realizing what a close call she had with death. May looked at Zarbon, the latter smirked at her but said nothing. She wiped some sweet off her face. 'Well, at least I was right. This is a challenge.'

She charged at Zarbon and attacked with a right kick. Zarbon caught the blow, grabbed her legs with both hands, and began to swing her around. This he found out was a mistake.

During the swing, May grabbed onto Zarbon's ponytail, passing the momentum of the swing onto him. The latter screamed in pain, yelling at her to let go, but it was too late.

"Yoink." May said as Zarbon' ponytail was ripped out of his skull, leaving a bald spot on the back of his skull.

Zarbon was sent spinning, he settled soon enough but didn't realize what happened until he seen his torn ponytail in May's hand. Quickly, he felt the back of his head, almost coming to tears when he felt the newly formed bald spot.

"M-m-my...My h-hair...WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY HAIR!"

May laughed. "I think that look suits you Zarbon!" She continued to laugh.

Zarbon glared at her, veins popped up on his face and pulsed angrily. "How dare you." He mumbled in quiet anger. "HOW DARE YOU LAUGH AT THIS!"

Suddenly, his body started to transform, his arms expanded, his legs grew, his chest buffed up, and his face mutated into a fat looking reptilian. He growled, causing May to stop laughing and look in horror. Zarbon transformed into a monster!

"Unforgivable." He said, slowly floating towards May. "Unforgivable, unforgivable, unforgivable, unforgivable, unforgivable, unforgivable, UNFORGIVABLE!"

Zarbon rushed at the Saiyan female. Caught off guard, she couldn't react in time for Zarbon's assault. He grabbed her, repetitively kicked her in the gut and smashing his skull into her face. "I'll make you pay! You'll regret ever crossing my path!"

Blood poured down May's face and out her mouth, she couldn't do anything to stop Zarbon. She could cry, unable to do anything else. She thought of her mate, of Roy. As much as she hated to admit it, this was too much, she couldn't handle an opponent of this strength, but she knew who could.

"Roy!" May cried out weakly. Hoping he would arrive in time.

Zarbon stopped his attacks, grabbed May by her neck and held at arms length.

He laughed manically. "I want you to beg for mercy!" Zarbon squeezed her throat, tighter and tighter bit by bit.

Still weak from the last beating, May couldn't even raise her arms to try and throw him off, not that in would have done any good. A single tear formed in her eye and poured down the side of her face.

"Now to finish yo-" Zarbon was cut off mid-sentence, the cause: a punch to the face by a very, VERY angry Roy.

The blow caused Zarbon to let go of May, the forward drifted a few feet, stunned by the blow. May hovered in space, barely able to stay afloat. She looked at her savior, he was looking at her, reacting out to her.

"Sorry I didn't come sooner." He said in one of those cool guy tones.

May laughed. "You still came, and that's what counts." She reached her arm out to him. Each calling the others name as they drifted closer and closer.

Zarbon shook off his shock, he looked for the one who attacked him. His eyes fixed on the other Saiyan near the female. Still angry at the lost of his ponytail, Zarbon roared furiously.

"YOU DARE!" He extended his hand wildly fired another of his Elegant Blaster attacks at the two.

Roy, unable to see the attack in time due to the distance, watched in horror as the attack hit his lover May. He could do nothing as he watched May disintegrate before his very eyes.

Roy clenched his fists, veins pulsed angrily throughout his face. He looked at his lover's killer.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

"LET'S SEE YOU TRY MONKEY!"

Zarbon and Roy rushed towards each other, they unleashed volley after volley of punches at the other. Neither bothered to dodge nor block, as both of them were filled with rage towards the other. The two ginned their heads together and locked arms, trying to overpower the other. Both looked frustrated beyond words as they wanted to not only kill, but completely eradicate the other.

"I will end you, feministic slug!"

"Big talk coming from a poop throwing monkey!"

"Freaky Alien Gena Type!"

"Artless Degenerating Charlatan!"

"Oh you think I'm a faker?! Have you looked in the mirror lately? You're repulsive! A feministic freak who doubles as a disgusting monster!"

"HOW DARE YOU! I DIDN'T CHOSE TO LOOK THIS WAY! I despise everything ugly, including this form!"

"DO I LOOK LIKE I GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR LIFE STORY?!"

Bardock thrashed about like a mad man, killing everything in his way. He was so close to Frieza's ship he could spit on it, the only thing standing in his way were a few foolish PTO troopers. He easily plowed through them, finally clearing the path to the ship. He smiled, about to storm in when the top of the ship opened up.

Bardock eyes widened as he watched the man responsible for all of this floated out: Frieza.

All of the nearby PTO soldiers stared at their master in fear, they knew that when Frieza decided to handle a situation himself things tended to get messy quick. Drumming up some courage, they chanted "Long Live Lord Frieza!" a few times before quieting themselves.

Bardock chuckled. "No way, you lived long enough. Too long for my taste."

"Listen up! Frieza, we quit! All of us! Got it? We don't work for you anymore. You can find someone else to do your dirty work! Oh yeah, one last thing." Bardock dropped his arm, he opened it and began to charge his ultimate technique: Final Spirit Cannon.

"This is for all the people we killed in your name! I wish we were never foolish enough to obey you." Bardock moved his arm back, preparing to throw his energy ball. "HERE HAVE IT!"

Bardock threw his attack at Frieza, the latter didn't pay attention to it until it came close. With grace, he kicked the ball up, causing it to fly a few meters before exploding. Bardock's eyes widened, his most powerful attack thrown aside like a beach ball.

Bardock clenched his fist, about to charge suicidally at the Arcosian when he felt someone grab his shoulder.

"That's enough Bardock." The latter looked back, the silver-haired Saiyan, Riddic stood behind him. "You did your part, I'll handle Frieza." Riddic pushed past Bardock. "You just sit back and relax, this shouldn't take long."

Frieza smirked. "Not long indeed, though not in the way you're hoping."

Riddic flew towards the tyrant with a smirk on his face. The moment he longed for, what he waited 6 years for was finally here. His revenge for his father's death was nigh. Riddic stopped a few feet from Frieza, the two stared at each other, both eager to reveal their powers to the other.

"Before we begin," Riddic said. "I'd advise you to transform, specifically to your final state. Otherwise this wouldn't be any fun."

Frieza looked at the Saiyan in surprise. How was it that he knew this secret? Frieza was careful about how should know this, only his family and his subordinate Zarbon knew he could transform.

"I'm surprised you know of my little secret." Frieza finally said, he placed both of his arms behind his back. "You must me really confident, or really foolish to think you can fight me at full power."

Riddic grinned. "Not only am I confident, but I can guaranty I can beat you at your best." He extended his hand out. "You should feel honored, you're in the presence of a Super Saiyan."

That statement caught the attention of everyone watching the two, PTO troopers began to mumble among themselves while Saiyans looked at Riddic in shock. Every Saiyan alive knows of the legend of the Super Saiyan. For Riddic to claim he was one was a bold statement, but believable giving his recent display of power.

Frieza's eyes widened a bit as he took in the claim. "A Super Saiyan?" He smirked. "I'll admit that you're the most promising member of you're monkey race that I've seen, but do you actually expect me to believe that you're the figure from the legend?"

Riddic smiled. "Transform and I'll show you."

Frieza tilted his head and smiled. "Very well, you have peeked my curiosity." He spread his arms and legs apart. "Don't regret this decision of yours, Mr. Super Saiyan."

Frieza started to yell as he began to transform into his 2nd state. The armor he was wearing exploded into pieces, his body grew twice in size. It looked painful as Frieza's arms, legs, chest, tail, and finally head expanded.

When he finished, Frieza looked much like the Arcosian Blizzard when Riddic first saw him.

"There." Frieza said, his voice was much deeper than before. "I have done as you asked. So what shall we do next?"

Riddic looked over Frieza's new form, noting that the Arcosian's power nearly doubled. He wasn't impressed, especially after seeing Blizzard's giant form.

"My turn." He said and smiled. "I do apologize if my performance isn't as...flashy as yours. I've gotten quite used to transforming back and forth."

Frieza crossed his arms and smirked. Without any other interruptions or delays, Riddic began his transformation. Golden pillars of energy circled his body, his hair stood up and his eyes turned blue-green.

In a flash, Riddic completed his transformation. His hair was gold, his aura, bright yellow, pulsed around his body. Many PTO troopers and Saiyans stopped and stared in awe at Riddic's spectacular form. Frieza looked on in surprise, he wasn't expecting something like this.

"Is that it?" He said, trying to look like he still had complete control over the situation. "I was expecting something more."

Riddic smiled. "I could say the same of you Frieza."

In response, Frieza chuckled, extended his left arm out, and brought his hand up balled in a fist. "Well someone's full of himself."

He opened his fist, unleashing an attack he liked to call Death Storm. The attack worked much like an Explosive Wave, sending energy out in every direction and blowing away all those in its path. Many nearby PTO troopers were sent flying by the attack, Bardock braced himself for the shock wave but it never came.

The reason why he wasn't sent flying like the others was due to Riddic's current position. Bardock hovered behind him, some distance away mind you but behind him. The Super Saiyan took the blunt of the blast meant to head in that direction, completely unphased by the force of the attack.

The attack ended, Riddic and Frieza glared into each others' eyes.

"Is that all?" Riddic said with a smile.

Frieza extended his right hand, purple energy charged in it. "I'm just getting started." He said and fired an energy blast he called Punishing Blaster. The purple ball screamed towards Riddic, who promptly smacked in aside.

"You have to do better." He said.

Frieza grinned his teeth, he moved to rush at Riddic but was interrupted by a sudden pain in his chest. He looked down, a fist was buried in his chest. He looked up to see who punched him, to his surprise it was the Super Saiyan. A drop of sweat dropped down Frieza's face, he didn't even see the Saiyan move!

Riddic withdrew his fist, Frieza hobbled over in pain.

"It hurts, doesn't it?" The Super Saiyan said, not looking at the tyrant. "Stop wasting my time and transform to your final form. Come at me with everything you have so you can see how powerless you truly are."

Frieza painfully straighten himself. "One luck punch doesn-"

Riddic smacked him across his face. "Get over yourself." He brought his hand back and backhanded the Arcosian.

"You need to realize." Riddic smacked him again.

"That you are not," Smack!

"Nor where you ever," Smack!

"The most powerful being," Smack!

"In the universe."

And with one last smack, Riddic sent Frieza spinning randomly. After a few moments, and a few feet, Frieza managed to stop himself. He looked at Riddic, panting. He rubbed the side of his face, still very sore from Riddic's smack attacks.

Frieza growled in anger. "If you're so eager to see me transform, so be it!"

Frieza yelled, wasting no time in changing to his 3rd form. The metamorphosis was exactly like Blizzard's, Riddic smiled as Frieza started to realize what he was up against.

'But knowing him, it might take some more convincing.'

After a few more moments, Frieza finished his transformation. Riddic felt his power grow, but not nearly as much as the first time. Frieza extended both of his hands towards the Super Saiyan, fully stretching out his middle and index fingers.

"Let's see how you handle this Super Saiyan!" He screamed in his new, discussing sounding voice. A good match for his repulsive new form.

Frieza wildly fired finger beams at Riddic, laughing as he did. The latter simply deflected each and every one of the beams with one arm, making it look like childsplay while keeping a serious face.

Regardless, Frieza continued to send beam after beam at his opponent. "I'll hit you eventually!" He yelled, still laughing as he continued the attack.

Zarbon and Roy flew across the battlefield, firing energy blasts at one another when they saw a gap in the many bodies still occupying the space.

Thanks to a large gap on his side, Zarbon fired his Shooting Star Arrows at Roy. The Saiyan dodged them, thought the same couldn't be said for a few unfortunate persons. The two continued to fly all around firing energy blasts at each other.

In a bold move, Roy charged at Zarbon, the latter did the same. The two screamed towards each other, before they collided each charged another energy blast and fired. The blasts exploded upon impact, creating a temporary smoke cloud. Zarbon and Roy flew into the cloud and met inside. They clashed in volleys of punches and kicks, keeping up the assault long after the smoke cleared.

Roy managed to land a punch on Zarbon's face, the latter retaliated with a kick to the chest, both disengaged from the clash and jumped away, panting heavily.

"Looks like we're even." Roy said between breaths. "I didn't think I'd be forced to use this."

Zarbon raised his eyebrow. "What do you mean? Use what?"

Roy extended his arms, he formed his hands into a V. "My final technique." He said as blue energy charged in his hands. "FINAL RAVER!"

A massive wave launched out of Roy's hands, it spread out cutting off any escape routes Zarbon once had. The latter gasped, he panicked and tried to run but it was no use, the wave was to fast for him.

Before it hit, Roy's attack seemed to have cried like a hawk, adding fear into Zarbon as he turned to the wave that consumed him. Roy's arms dropped, he began to hunch over. He struggled to keep upright.

"Yeah, looks like I got him." Roy began to feel tired, he fought with his eyes as he tried to keep them open. "Only think that sucks about that attack is that it drains so much of my energy."

He chuckled. "Good thing its a last resort, other..wise...I'd..." He never finished, as he passed out from exhaustion.

Fortunately for Roy, a few onlooking Saiyan elites hovered over to him. They checked to see if he was alive, seeing that he was, they decided to take him down to the surface and away from harm.

What they didn't know was that the surface was already a battlefield. Thanks to King Vegeta, the Saiyan race became aware of the situation and began to fight the occupying PTO forces. Though they were complaints, King Vegeta explicitly explained to take some of the troops alive, as per Riddic's request.

Frieza trembled in anger, having stopped his attacked some time ago his mind raced over Riddic's unbelievable power.

"How is it that a monkey can produce such power?" He asked, not really expecting an answer. "I was right to decide to destroy your race. I only regret not acting in time to prevent your ascension."

Riddic laughed. "Not acting in time, you're right Frieza." He smirked. "You should have killed me when you killed my father before my very eyes all those years ago."

Frieza stared at him in confusion, he wasn't sure what the Super Saiyan meant.

"You don't remember?" Riddic asked. "The short rebellion that happened when you incorporated our race into your empire?"

Frieza looked away from Riddic, thinking back to that day so long ago. Finally he remembered the older silver-haired Saiyan who lead the rebellion and the two other twins that rushed to Saiyan after he killed him. Frieza now realized that the Super Saiyan before him was one of those twins.

"You're the one that King Vegeta let live. Your that man's son aren't you?!"

"Bingo." Riddic said with a smile. "I've come back for my revenge, as a Super Saiyan: The legend that you fear Frieza!"

Frieza chuckled. "I see, now it makes sense." He brought his hand up to his chest. "As a reward for you efforts, I'll let you see my true form!" He yelled again, commencing his final transformation.

Slowly, cracks formed all around his body, light poured from out of them. Riddic crossed his arms and waited, noting that this was again like what Blizzard showed him, but slower.

After a few minutes, Frieza's current body exploded, releasing a massive burst of air. Again, some of those foolish to have stayed too close were blow away by the force. It calmed down soon enough, revealing a sleeker, smaller Frieza. Everyone watching grew silent, many petrified by Frieza's new form.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Frieza said, somehow regaining the same voice he had in his 1st form. "Now the stage is set, time to pull back the curtain and let the final act begin."

Riddic smiled, Frieza's power grew exponentially, nearly 40 times than before, but it still wasn't enough. He took a fighting stance.

"Let the final clash between Riddic, the Legendary Super Saiyan and Frieza, Tyrant of the Universe commence."

Meanwhile, not too far away. A ship of similar design to Frieza's hovered still in space, the occupants looked on at the ongoing battle in the atmosphere of Planet Vegeta. Three men in similar armor to the standard PTO soldier stood in front of a monitor, watching the events that unfolded before their eyes; the emergence of the Legendary Super Saiyan, the death of Zarbon, the complete dominance the Super Saiyan had over Frieza, and Frieza's final transformation.

"Wow, look at that." The big, green-skinned, black-haired humanoid said.

"Frieza's pulling out all the stops now." The big, red-skinned, dinosaur looking humanoid said.

"No, I mean look at him." The green one said. "He looks just like Lord Cooler."

"They're brothers idiot, its little wonder why they look alike." The red one said.

The green one raised his fist. "What you call me?"

The red one smirked. "You heard me! Or is your stupidity affecting your hearing too?"

"Why I oughta-"

"Enough!" A shorter, blue skinned, bland haired humanoid commanded. He spoke with a French accent. "Stop bickering, did you forget that we are in the presence of Lord Cooler?"

"That's quite alright, Salza." A deeper voice stated. "Neizu and Dore's bickering add some quality to this show."

A form drifted from out of the shadows. It was a man, an Arcosian in the 4th transformed state, aboard a hover craft. His skin was mostly dark purple with white areas on his head, arms, and legs.

This man was Cooler, elder brother to Frieza and high ranking overlord of the Planet Trade Organization. "Besides, it's not like we can pick up audio at this range." He said, drifting towards the monitor. "I only caught wind of my brother's plane thanks to a spy and came here to see if he'd really go through with it. Not that I expected otherwise."

Cooler focused on the current image on the monitor, the so called Legendary Super Saiyan.

"Never had I expected this legend, this Super Saiyan to appear before my brother." He smiled. "It looks like he'll do my work for me. I never did like my brother, he deserves the humiliation this man is giving him."

Salzu approached his master. "My Lord, do you wish to remain in this air space?"

Cooler tapped his tail against his hover craft. "I do. Even if it puts me behind schedule I want to see this battle to its conclusion. It's not often we get a chance to see my brother fight seriously against an foe. And," He turned towards his loyal subordinate. "This Super Saiyan could be a threat."

Salzu nodded, fully understanding and agreeing with his lord. He turned around to join with his comrades over by a control station.

Cooler turned back around and continued to watch the fight between his younger brother and the Super Saiyan. He smiled, secretly hoping that his brother would lose against this new enemy.

And we end the 1st entry to this new chapter with the appearance of Cooler! Nice touch eh?

Anyway, a lot was covered in this chapter, Dodoria, May and Zarbon are dead, Frieza getting trashed around by Riddic, King Vegeta and Bardock are alive for now, the reveal of new charactor Daizu and Roy's new last resort technique: Final Raver, etc.

Due to time, I'll just explain the Raver quick. It's a move that uses most of the users energy, enabling the user to defeat foes as much as 3 times their strength, but leaves them tired as hell. Also if you try to use it more than once at a time, you die. In a sense, its like the concept of the Tri-beam attack.

Now as for the blast itself, it surrounds an opponent in the form of a cyclone and closes in on them. When the blast hits, it lets out a cry like a hawk. Not explained, (my) cannon reason why it does that but the reason I had the move do that is due to some earlier ideas I had doing the development of a signature move for Roy. Basically, to make the attack more unique than a simple cyclone imprisonment move.
