Olivia's heart filled with anger as she walks to the battle station, but she refuses to let it show up on her face.

Kureiji families has a long history of how patient, polite and practical they mind are, aside from old bloodline that that can be trace back to thousands of years ago when their

planet surface start to cool down since the sun moving away, letting the lifeform and underground civilization to spread across the planet after many years of empty deserted

land.

Kureiji is one the first family who get up on the surface, their wisdom and far-seeing lead them to thrive on the new area and grow strong. While some old-head family hiding

underground like a mole, too afraid to look at the real sun and light of future with their own eyes.

Olivia knows that some of other planet citizen call her people "Undead" but it was nothing but a past now, only a tales and legend of how her ancestor use to be a threat of

the universe and almost get wipe out by other short-sight species that too afraid to understand the real power.

Anyways, it wasjust an old story. After losing most of their forbidden technologies, now "Undead" are not so different than other species.

Now they can die and have to eat like the other, so their planet has to trade with other planets too, like a puny mortal they use to look down on.

Except from their paler than usual skin after living in artificial light for so long, now undead are becoming a lower class in the galaxies federation.

When everyone saw them, they see a mad monster who kill everyone in its way, not an equal sentient being like the others.

Everyone buys thing from her planet in cheap prizes and sell their stuff to her people in a ridiculously expensive prize.

If this goes on for another centuries, her planet will surely met an famine that will lead to death of millions, maybe this is what those outsider plan in the first place, when

they form an unequal interstellar trading contract.

This is a reason why olivia covince her Cezar (Emperor) to declare war again one of those smugly planet, everyone cheer and throw a parties as the war start, ready to teach

those outsider that they can't f**k with undead land without a prizes.

However, after a years has pass and those coward start forming an allies among the star called interstellar armies, the fight start to getting ugly.

Nuclear war head being throw to each other planet for years without really success outcome for both side.

Inhabitant planet has been conquer, build a colonies and suck its resource like a baby drinking milk as the armies fight.

Win and lose, Win and lose again and again. Even emperor starting to wonder if it was a wrong decision to declare a war in the first place. Thank to those damn bureaucrat.

Of course, they would blame the first person who declare the war and become the grand general of the whole operation.

People are starving to their death and those who not will die in a war anyways, if this continue the undead planet will surely dead this time.

Except, if there is a new weapon. Better than everything those allies could produce, stronger, faster and has a wider range than nuclear war head.

But it will be perfect if it can turn their enemies again each other, not just killing them.

Olivia smile, this is why she come to this mad scientist lab.

Even if she calls herself priestess of some legendary god and mumble a creepy thing all the time. Her brain is a real deal.

Two officers get in her ways before olivia could walk in the building.

"General. I have to report that our army will be ready in three days before going to the war again." He said, looking straight in olivia eye.

"Make them ready tonight, lieutenant." Kureiji olivia said softly, she never has to rise her voice before because when kureiji family member speak, everyone must listen.

"The solider aren't ready, general." Lieutenant blush "We are lack of supplies. Weapon, food, medicine. Some haven't sleep for three day! "

"Well, let them rest for a while then." Olivia draws the sword out of its sheath at her hip and cut Lieutenant head in one swing.

It was a long, beautiful double-edge sword with a death bear figure decorate at the handle. The sword has fall from kureiji family from generation-to-generation, olivia always

carries it just for luck.

As the headless body fall on the ground olivia look at another Lieutenant who stared at her in horror.

"Make them ready tomorrow then, Lieutenant."olivia smile sweetly at him as she walk pass a pool of blood on the ground.

Getting in the mad scientist house at last.

In the dark house, scientist who dress in a strange white ceremony outfit and call herself "Watcher" that seem to be mocking the cloth mask that conceal all of her face, since

it has a drawing of a big eye on it come to greet olivia and lead her to the lab.

Olivia never knows how she could look through those thick masks and personally didn't care as long as she still keep producing effective weapon.

"What about the new gas, doctor?" olivia sit on the table, shaking her leg and look at the watcher who shook her head.

"I am but a humble priestess, only death goddess could give an idea for me to tell you."

This woman is surely nut, olivia didn't say that out loud but looking at the subject target in the next room instead.

In the see-through crystal room, group of prisoners of war is tie on the chair. All of them wearing a newest protection suit allies armies could invent.

Watcher picks a small crystal tube that contain yellow gas inside.

"This is Soul destroyer gas. When it touches any lifeform, it will destroy their energy life core, all of them will die within a second."

She drops it and pick up next tube that contain green gas inside.

"This is pseudo soul gas. If it reaches a body, both living and empty. It will sink in and create a new life in them.

In theory, we will build and armies out of death soldier and citizen from both sides, this way we will preserve our people life and using enemies force again each other."

Olivia impressed. "Then why don't you send it to my chemical factory? We will build tons of them in no time."

Watcher hesitates. "There's still some… unsolved problems with these gas. I will tell you one by one."

"Tell me." Olivia stands up now, serious.

"First. Some of those allies' protection suit still be able to protect their body from the poison gas." Women in mask hit the green button and the green gas start pouring in the

crystal room.

Those subject start screaming inside their helmet and suit but after a while and nothing happen, they start to relax and stop struggling.

Watcher hit the red button and half of prisoner mask suddenly gone, in shock they breathe the green gas in and the blood start pouring from their eyes, nose and mouth.

Before they break the robe that tie them with impossible strange, jumping and biting the survivor in the room who still wearing mask.

In less than minute there only a flesh-eating zombie in the room.

"Second. The pseudo soul is very hard to control, we still unable to control them successfully.

They will know only killing and eating each those who 'uninfected' by the gas. It is not an absolute loyal- immortal soldier you looking for. " olivia nod.

"We can still use them as a weapon anyways. Imagine rocket filled with this gas shooting at those allies planet, they will busy killing each other while our armies rest and

strong." Olivia said hopefully.

"Last problem." Watcher stops and looking at olivia eyes through her mask "When this two gas met, it will dissolves each other gas's effect. So, you can't use two weapon

together."

She hit the yellow button and when the yellow gas filled the room every zombies fall down one by one, turning into a normal corpse as it should be.

Olivia nod. "We will use it separately, hit one planet with yellow gas another with green gas. Or use it in different time. Like using yellow to kill and use the blue after the

yellow one is gone, to create a zombie army. "

Watcher thinks for a while before answer "Possible, but the main problem is still the ally's solider armor. I will be praying for goddess to give me an answer.

It will take some time, but I believe we will find a way."

Olivia smile, satisfied "Hurry up then. We don't have much time before those fool will force our emperor to sign an peace contract. We need to show him that we can still win

this fight."

Watcher nod silently, olivia get up and ready to walking out of lab room when priestess who seems to listen at someone who isn't actually there said something.

"That beautiful sword you keep carrying, will be the cause of your death one day. Goddess just told me that."

Olivia smile, it was one of those crazy things that watcher always randomly says.

She learned to not piss at those word after hearing them for a long time.

Olivia draws her sword out of it sheath and look at the blade again, it was so beautiful and elegant that she couldn't separate from it that easily, much less throwing it away.

"Well, if someone can pull it out of my hand and put it in my skull.

Death by someone that strong aren't seems so bad anyway." Olivia chuckle.

Watcher pick something from the table and put it in ollivia hand, it was a small blue capsule that heavier than it look.

"This chemical will enchant your body for a few minutes. You will become stronger hundred time than normal when you breath its in. If you get attack, better use one of

these."

Olivia broke the capsule and suck the blue dust with her nose suddenly every muscle in her body seems to be screaming by the new enormous power.

Olivia punches the metal table. Her hand sink deep, creating a big hole inside metal thing. But when she pulls her hand out, there is not even slightest scratch on her skin.

"This is miracle!" olivia said in disbelief, if her armies have this kind of medicine. the victory is certain.

Watcher nodded, satisfied. "I still unable to bult it in mass product and has only this six. Well, five now." she pull a small box that contain five capsule inside, which olivia

quickly put it in her skirt pocket.

"With this, we will raise again." Olivia smile and pick up one of the allies' helmets, easily crushing it with one hand.

Watcher stands silently, she didn't mention that the chemical will slowly destroy user internal organ with the more quantity they consumed.

She doesn't think olivia will care even if she knows. Beside goddess told her not to said it.

As for a reason. Well, God work in a mysterious way.

Before olivia could walk out of the lab, one soldier come in and pick some digital board, presenting it to her.

"What is it?" Olivia said with an irritation.

"General, this is the report from the frontline." Pink hair soldier lower her head as she hand over the board she seem to rather look at her feet instead of olivia face.

Watcher watches her with an interest, somehow this soldier is a bit…off.

She has a pale body of undead tribe and yet look different somehow, like a good copy instead of the original one.

After olivia finish reading, she hands the pad back to the soldier who bow again and walking out of the room.

Watcher sighed, she probably lives in the lab for so long that normal people aren't look so normal anymore.

Before that soldier could close the door, watcher turn her attention toward working table again and realized something.

The small crystal tube that contain green and yellow gas is gone from the table somehow.

"Spy!" watcher shout, olivia jump toward the direction with her sword but pink hair soldier throws something at her.

Olivia sword cut it in half, but the black smoke still come out. Making both choked and blind for a moment.

"Capture her!" olivia shout out for the soldiers outside to take the intruder down, but she couldn't really see what happen for now due to condition of her eyes.

A spy in the middle of her undead armies! How can it even possible!

Mori Calliope

"Fu** ,**ck, F**K!" calliope swear as she start running out of the building with two gas tubes inside her pocket.

It's seemed to be and great idea when they are planning, the rest of her team scattering away a day before while calli sneak in and steal a sample of Undead newest weapon.

Of course, they have a copied data of what those gas are, but those stubborn ministers need a solid evidence of the real weapon before they could take any action again the

undead planet.

Another trading veto on interstellar council, probably.

Calli has been hiding among the rank of undead over a year now, not include the preparation beforehand such as avoiding the sun for years to make her skin paler and

undead-like, at least enough to fool them for a while.

Now everything is falling apart, and she has to run from their planet, luckily she got some plan.

It is not a coincidence that calliope use this day to steal the gas sample, today is the day of reinforcement, meaning that many spacecraft is ready on the field, waiting for calli

to choose.

Even if she is panicking, calli tries to walk as calmly as possible.

After the chaos of running for a few minutes, everyone start to not sure who they are chasing.

After all, calli look like undead and there are thousands of them running around and shouting. In the middle of chaos calli can just wear a helmet so no one can see her hair

color, while changing her uniform into a flight suit, after all those pilots are wearing a helmet all the time, aren't they?

Walking in the airfield, calli finally see her target. It was a small and fastest fighter ship The undead has, she just jump on the pilot seat, start engine and fly away before

anyone realizes what happen.

The shouting and engine from the ground make calli realize something. If she just run, in a few minutes sky will fill with the warship that will following her to the galaxy edge.

She has to slow them down.

Calli turn her ship to the airfield, look at the weapon menu and choose plasma chain gun. It was the fastest and most practical weapon on this ship, fancy things like rocket or

cannon has to wait for another occasion.

Calli start shooting at the spacecrafts on the field, destroying it one by one, one ship manages to take off but quickly destroyed by calli's gun. The rest has turn into nothing

but burning junks on the ground.

Some soldier on the ground tries to use anti-air weapon but calli dodge and destroy it easily.

After training air to air fight more than a decade, calliope is too tough for those foot soldier to chew, her folk wasn't call her "Sky Daddy" for no reason.

"Better luck next time. Loser!" Calliope laughs and shout from her ship window before flying away.

Before using interstellar mode calli remember something.

There is still sometime left before other air force unit will come to hunt her down.

Calliope tries to hold her shudder as she remembers what she saw in the watcher lab, it was fill with monsters and inhuman experience. If she could destroy it, maybe she

could stop olivia plan or at least slow them down for a while.

Calli fly to the building and release the rocket, blowing it away.

This will do for a while, even better if watcher or olivia was still stuck in there.

When she looks down again, calli swear. On the street she saw olivia running away from the building, carries the watcher on her shoulder, ignoring priestess protest.

There is still a chance, calli will blow both of them with remaining rocket.

She dives her ship at them aim and shoot, ignoring soldiers who tries to shot her down with their plasma rifles.

Rocket travel through the air and going to reach its target but quickly change direction toward nearby building instead, blowing it away.

"How?" calli grasp, she is using manual mode, not auto-aim. There is no way it could change the direction by failed system.

Beside, instead of rocket change it direction, calli feel like something just pushing it away…

When calli glance at the blows up building, she is not sure what she is seeing.

Somehow, there is a green hair girl who dress in blue long sleeve outfit standing in the burning debris.

Her glowing red eyes can be seen in the middle of fire and smoke. Even if it was a long distance, calli somehow know that she is looking at her eyes and smile.

Calliope blink and the mysterious girl is gone, leaving only the destruction behind, maybe it was just her imagination after all.

Calliope shakes her head and start her ship's interstellar mode. It is too late for attacking now. She has a solar system to cross and probably hundred, if not thousands of

warships behind her tail.

She couldn't lose her focus now, her mission is not over until she delivery her gas to the allies armies.

….

After an hour of space travel, calliope realize something, this ship has no nuclear power core on its own.

Meaning she couldn't travel for a long time before her energy run out.

The colonies of her armies are nearby but not enough, so she couldn't refill her energy now and stuck in the middle of nowhere in universe, what a great pilot she is!

Before calli could do anything but count her remaining energy something blowing part of her ship's left wing away and her radar suddenly crying an alarm, warning her that

enemies is nearby.

The great ship suddenly appears out of nowhere, it was destroyer type ship, probably equip with newest camouflage system to avoid her radar. So the undead are ready for

the war than calli ever thought after all.

Calli swear and trying to fly away but her ship is slower and slower by the damage.

She manage to dodge the attack again and again but calliope know that she couldn't do this forever.

Her ship is going to stop moving at last and her fate will be in the hand of those undead armies.

Calli shakes again, thinking of what she saw in the watcher's lab.

Something pull her ship away from the destroyer ship, even if the engine is stop working, calli look at the radar but it is still the same empty area in the outer space and yet

her ship keep falling like it was getting drag by some planet gravity.

"What the -" calli look at her monitor again but still couldn't make sense out of it.

The computer said that she is still in the middle of space and yet her ship start burning as it was falling in the planet atmosphere.

Calliope look at the window and see what she was falling into, a green planet fill with forest of tree, calli think she saw some kind of town or city but she is not so sure.

Anyway, she has to ready for the impact now, her ship slowing system is gone so she has to slow it down by hand.

Calliope pulls the emergency landing panel with everything she has but the ship seems to not slow down at all.

When she was going to meet the surface, calli saw the great lake and change her ship direction toward it instead.

If she hit the water maybe her dead chance will be reduced to 99 instead of 100 percent.

Her ship hit the water and, as calli afraid, the water start pouring in spaceship damaging hole.

Calliope hit the eject button. But of course, it won't budge, because why not? This is her my-life-suck day after all.

As the water is fill her room calli tries to break her way out, realizing that it was useless, the door that made for space travel surely won't break by her puny hand.

Everything getting darker and darker, calliope gave up. Maybe she could rest in peace at last, after everything that happen, some sleep is not a bad idea.

Calliope think she must be hallucinate when she saw some orange hair woman swimming toward her, the stranger seems to glowing in the dark water like a toy calli use to

play as a child.

So she is dead and this is angel who will bring calli to heaven then, this one seems a bit hotter than your typical angel.

But it's not like calliope could complain, beggar can't be a chooser after all.

Glowing girl open the ship's door with her bare hand, another proof that calli is just seeing thing now. She drags calli out of the ship and swimming back toward the surface.

Calli want to thank her and ask angel if there is a platinum suite for soldier who die in duty or not, but the darkness fill her head and calliope couldn't open her eyes any

longer.
