Ch 2 Uprising - The Saiyan Rebellion

Space, a fair distance from New Arcose.

Cooler's ship hovered in space, keeping a far enough distance from the PTO capital to evade their planetary scanners but close enough to observe every ship coming and going from the planet.

The Arcosian Cooler sat in his hover chair, viewing the giant overhead monitor on the ship's bridge.

With him was the reptilian humanoid Neizu, currently sitting in a revolving chair next to one of the various consoles. He was reading various IFF tags from the consistently arriving ships, looking for any that belonged to the Saiyan's...as well as the thought to be dead Frieza.

Cooler watched the monitor for any visual sign of his foolish brother's spaceship. Now in the hands of the Super Saiyan that defeated him, Cooler guessed that he'd use it like a Trojan Horse to close into New Arcose's airspace then launch an assault on the planet.

It was the only real logical move besides waiting for a counterstrike from the Planet Trade, and given how much his father cared for Frieza, Cooler knew that once he learned of his pampered son's "death" King Cold would unleash everything at his disposal to see that the Super Saiyan and his race were annihilated from this existence.

Cooler had been here for a few days, patiently awaiting for the Super Saiyan to make his move. In the meanwhile, the calculating Arcosian sent Salza out to acquire the various parts and supplies he needed for his plan to use Frieza as an instrument to advance his own agenda.

Dore was watching over the wounded fool now. Though the green brute wasn't his first choice for such a task, Cooler needed Neizu and his expertise to detect the Saiyans. If Frieza should die under Dore's watch...Oh well.

Cooler smiled at the thought. 'I wouldn't mind if he died now, but while I have a choice in the matter I'll forge him into a tool for my own purpose. I'll use him up and then dispose of him.'

Cooler briefly closed his eyes and chuckled. 'My dear overconfident brother, you deserved that humiliating defeat from the Super Saiyan. As well as becoming my puppet.'

Frieza's spaceship, 3 days away from New Arcose.

Blizzard and Riddic stood in the observation deck of the ship, the two stared out the large purple window into the void of space.

"Only three days." Riddic said, breaking the lasting silence between the two.

"Indeed." Blizzard replied, his gaze unmoving from the void. "After residing in exile for so long, finally I have a chance to make my sins right."

Riddic raised his eyebrow as he looked at the giant Arcosian. "Why is King Cold stealing your throne your sin?"

Blizzard closed his eyes. "Simple. I could have stopped him, stopped his family from gaining power and prevented the current state of this galaxy. Instead, I simply watched and waited for Cold to challenge me. I was overconfident in my own power, and that overconfidence cost me everything."

Riddic looked out the purple window and smiled. "We'll set things right. Together, we can set everything right."

Blizzard chuckled. "Such optimism." He opened his eyes. "Sometimes I wonder which one of us is the mentor and which the pupil."

Riddic turned his head to Blizzard, still the Saiyan had a smile on his face. "Its a mystery."

Blizzard let out a single laugh. "So it is." He turned toward Riddic. "Riddic, I don't mean to ruin such a fond moment but there's something I'd like to say."

Riddic turned towards his friend. "Go ahead."

Blizzard frowned as he spoke to his Saiyan friend.

"From what you told me of your past, I learned that you take loss of those close to you heavily. Know that when we begin our revolution none of us are guaranteed to survive."

Blizzard paused a few moments before continuing. "Take to heart the word I'm about to say: No matter what plans are laid or steps are taken, there will be losses and there's nothing you can do to prevent it."

Blizzard turned back towards the purple window, looking into the void as if to find solace in what was needed to be said. "A good commander will try their absolute best to limit the casualties of their forces but, no one can save everyone. Not even gods."

Sometime later...

Riddic walked along the circular hallway that spands around the saucer like ship. The silver-haired Saiyan was deep in thought.

"No matter what plans are laid or steps are taken, there will be losses and there's nothing you can do to prevent it."

The words of the wise Arcosian echoed in Riddic's mind. Secretly, he already excepted that several of his comrades would die in the battles that are to come. Still...

"Know that when we begin our revolution none of us are guaranteed to survive."

He didn't want to lose anyone close to him. Not like on Namek, not again, not ever.

"No one can save everyone. Not even gods."

The harsh truth in Blizzard's words cut deep inside the Super Saiyan.

'An unparalleled warrior huh? Even the strongest of warriors fall victim to their emotions.'

Just then he hear the footsteps of someone approaching from the other direction, this wasn't the first time Riddic passed someone on his walk and usually whoever it was passed him by without a word.

As the footsteps grew louder, Riddic moved to one side of the hallway to allow whoever it was this time to pass through without incident. After a few moments, the footsteps stopped. Perhaps whoever it was reached their destination just ahead of him, or perhaps-

"Hey there Mister Super Saiyan, why the gloomy face?" A familiar female voice asked from in front of him.

Riddic looked up, it was the same female Saiyan that stopped him on his way to see King Vegeta not too long ago.

"Lea." Riddic said in a quiet tone.

Lea smiled in response. "Well I'm honored that the legend himself remembered litt'old me." She placed her right hand on her waist. "That said, you didn't answer my question or is this a Super Saiyan only problem?"

Riddic smiled. Such sass from this Saiyan, most of the males he knew won't appreciate that part of her but he found it funny.

"Nothing like that Lea." He let out a sigh. "I'm just...concerned."

Lea blinked a few times. "Of how the invasion will go?"

She smiled, raised her hand up in a fist and laid her other hand on her arm muscle. "Don't you worry Mister Super Saiyan, we'll take the planet. I'll see to it personally."

Again Riddic smiled. "Its not that." He paused a few moments before continuing. "I'm afraid of the losses we'll take, of who will remain standing and who will lay dead when the dust settles."

Lea lowered her arms. She looked at Riddic in surprise.

"I never expected you of all people to be concerned about such things." She crossed her arms and looked off to her left. "So much for a ruthless killing machine..." She muttered.

"Sorry to disappoint you."

Lea blushed briefly in embarrassment. She turned her head back to Riddic. "I-I...I didn't mean it like that!" She said a bit flustered. "I meant that the legends about you are wrong. You actually care for those around you."

"I know its not a shared trait with our people but I've been raised in a different way than most Saiyans."

"Is that so?" Lea took a few steps toward him. "Your right, caring for others isn't a trait the average Saiyan possesses. In fact that is why I'm disgusted with most Saiyan men, only think of us females as a means to reproduce and nothing else."

She continued to walk towards Riddic until she was a few inches away from his face.

Riddic blinked a few times. "Is there something on my face?" He asked, a bit confused at Lea's intentions.

Lea giggled at the question. "You're cute when you're clueless." She inched a little closer to Riddic's face.

The latter started to blush a little. "Uh..Um.."

"I've decided."

Riddic could hear his heart in his chest. "De-decided?"

Lea smiled, she stroked her right hand on the side of Riddic's head. "I've decided to make you my mate."

"Wh-what?!" Riddic blushed, he wasn't expecting this and he certainly wasn't in the right mind for such a proposal.

Lea smile seemed to get brighter. "What am I the first? I am aren't I? I'm glad." She started to pull Riddic's head down towards her. "I'll be the first one to know how a Super Saiyan treats a lady."

"Don't I get a say in this?"

"Nope, you're mind until I decide otherwise." Lea wrapped her arms around the flustered silver-haired Saiyan. "Unless you have a problem with having a girl like me?"

"I-I..."

Riddic felt his head getting dizzy, this was happening too fast for him. Especially since he was depressed a moment ago, this was like someone wacked him around a full 180, then started spinning him round and round.

"I...don't have a problem with someone like you." He finally managed to spit out.

Lea smiled as she pulled Riddic a little closer. "Good." She said, just before she did something that made Riddic even more dizzy.

She quickly closed the gap between their lips and stole the Super Saiyan's first kiss.

After a few moments, Lea separated her lips from Riddic's. The latter's face was so red that Lea couldn't help but laugh at the sight. Once she settled down, she released Riddic from her grasp and backpedaled a few steps.

"Don't forget you're my man now. If I see you flirting with anyone else, Super Saiyan or not I'll kick your ass." Lea said in a playful, yet serious manner.

"If any of these pig headed males try to flirt with me or anything I'll tell them I belong to you. So expect some Saiyans to come your way from time to time, if they're not afraid of a Super Saiyan that is."

She turned her body around, held her hands behind her back and looked at her new lover. "I'm sure you can handle them anyway. I'll see you again soon, my precious Super Saiyan."

She winked at him before walking back the way she came, her long hair swished back and forth as Riddic stood speechless.

After a few moment to regain himself, he relaxed his body and scratched the back of his head.

"...What just happened?"

Meanwhile, on the bridge of Frieza's ship...

Blizzard, King Vegeta, and his son Prince Vegeta sat in vastly tasteless improvised thrones placed near the front of the main monitor on the bridge.

Blizzard being in the center while both the young and old Vegeta sat on his left and right. Flanking the Saiyan King and the young prince were Saiyan Royal Guards posted on the left and right of their thrones, two others held position at each side of the entry door.

Several other former PTO troopers took positions around various console stations, monitors, and other system control stations located in the bridge. Despite the various beeps, buzzes, and other noises produced from those stations, the bridge was eerily quiet.

Blizzard glanced at the young Saiyan Prince; the little, rude tick was twiddling his thumbs. Obviously he was bored sitting around.

The Arcosian smiled, he turned his gaze to the nearest humanoid soldier: A dome headed pink and red skinned plant looking alien.

"Pardon me trooper," Blizzard started, getting the humanoid's attention. "I'm I right to believe that there is a training room aboard this ship?"

"Yessir, in fact there are several training rooms." As he replied, an odd bubbling noise came from his cheeks. Upon further inspection, the alien's checks had several flaps that were barely, but definitely moving. "The nearest one is just a few doors down."

Blizzard took a moment to wonder if this humanoid was one of the last of his race. Frieza struck him as the type to kill anyone for any little reason if he felt like it, and this male's -if it WAS a male- biological functions seem enough of a reason to kill him.

"I see." Blizzard quickly eyed Prince Vegeta, the latter seemed interested in the point he was bringing up.

"Can I ask you to call someone to escort the young Saiyan Prince there? I'm sure he wishes for a chance to stretch his muscles." The Arcosian turned his head slightly to King Vegeta. "Assuming the father is alright with this proposal?"

King Vegeta let out a small huff. "Do as you wish."

Blizzard smiled, her turned back to the plant looking humanoid. "You heard him, the prince has permission. Call a guide please."

The humanoid nodded, quickly turned his head aside to call a guide through his green Scouter, then turned back to Blizzard. "Someone will be here in a few moments my lord."

Blizzard nodded, then rested his head on his right hand. He looked at Prince Vegeta. "You did heard him didn't you? A guide is coming to show you the way, go wait by the door for him so you can go exercise."

Prince Vegeta frowned. "I didn't ask for you to do that."

"No you didn't, but I did so anyway." Blizzard smiled. "Run along now prince."

Prince Vegeta let out a huff before hopping out of his chair and moved towards the door. The Royal Guard standing by his chair quietly followed the prince as he headed out the door and into the hallway.

A few moments after the prince left, Blizzard tilted his head towards King Vegeta. "That should keep him entertained for a little while, wouldn't you say?"

King Vegeta crossed his arms and looked to his left. "Why do you care? You're not the boy's father."

"True," Blizzard sat straight in his throne. "But I am a father, though I have little idea where my son is or even if he's alive." He looked at Vegeta. "My apologies if this offends you, but every time I look at your son I am reminded of my own. As such, I can't help but spoil the little devil a bit."

"Is that so?" King Vegeta said still looking at the far wall.

Blizzard chuckled, these Saiyans were quite entertaining to him. If he only met them earlier, he may have prevented the Cold family's rebellion...No, the past is the past, there's nothing he could do to change it but he can make the present right once more.

"Did you know King Vegeta the true purpose of the Planet Trade? Why it was originally created?" The Arcosian said, in the hopes of renewing their conversation.

King Vegeta turned his gaze to Blizzard, still his arms were crossed. "If it wasn't originally formed to conquer planets from the start, then no. I suppose I don't."

"I'm not surprised that the truth behind its founding have been concealed. The organization's history is something that the King Cold and most of his family shutters at."

Blizzard paused a few moments, as if gathering his strength to tell the tale. "You see, my grandfather founded the Planet Trade for one purpose: To clear overgrown and hostile worlds so that they could be colonized."

"The universe isn't a kind place, never has. My grandfather sought to ease this problem and allow other lesser races to develop across the North Galaxy. He allied with the strongest known races that would aid his cause, leading them across the stars to the most untamed and dangerous of worlds."

"Of course he did this for a fee, even the kindest of conquerors need finances to sustain an operation such as the Planet Trade."

"He was a noble man, as was my father who succeeded him. When I took the throne I continued my father and grandfather's work, thanks to our efforts many civilizations grew strong in various ways."

Blizzard paused once again, he frowned as he continued his tale. "By that time, the PTO grew into an observing role. We still cleared planets for colonization but we also stood watch over the galaxy, preventing many disasters and stomping out villains who would have otherwise devastated it."

"Sounds like you're trying to gloat on how much of a saint you are." King Vegeta finally spoke.

"Don't get me wrong," Blizzard turned his head to the Saiyan King. "I've committed enough sins to reserve my place in Hell."

The Arcosian turned his gaze to the monitor before him. His eyes stared out in the projected images of space.

"I have ordered the deaths of many innocents when worlds flourished with open rebellion against me and my organization. I have razed planets that held native inhabitants pledged with disease far too dangerous or risky to be left unchecked. I have stolen the future of many species so others may survive."

Blizzard's gaze lowered to the floor. "But my greatest sin by far, is allowing the Cold family to rise up to power and failing to prevent their insurrection. The insuring civil war cause many needless deaths. When I was overthrown, Cold turned the once noble Planet Trade into an organization of greed and evil."

The Arcosian looked at King Vegeta once more. "Three generations of effort all undone by a selfish man and his family. Though to most species three generations of work isn't that impressive, but we Arcosians have much longer life spans than most known species in this galaxy."

Blizzard turned his gaze to the floor beneath him. "Its rather...distressing really. To see thousands of years of work ruined by a single upstart."

"Isn't that the reason why your dragging us along into war?" King Vegeta said bluntly. "While it is true that since Riddic killed Frieza we now have a common enemy but you can't fool me. All of us are a means to acquire your revenge."

Blizzard chuckled. "You're clever, I'll give you that."

Blizzard locked his hands together in a ball. "I won't lie, I'm using you all to put an end to the Cold family. There may be a tad trace of vengeance in my desire to see that end, but its also to make amends for allowing Cold to acquire this power over the galaxy. Besides, I think we can both agree that he and his family need to be put down."

"I know I can't do this alone, so I convinced Riddic that this will create a better future for all and it will should we succeed."

"So this is all for atonement for your past mistakes." King Vegeta said with a hint of aggression.

Blizzard gave the king a half smirk. "Yes, I suppose it is. Though I couldn't have any better warriors such as you Saiyans to help me accomplish this."

The King of Saiyans let out a slight sigh. "Flattery with get you no where, Arcosian."

"Perhaps, but I still get what I want and everyone helping me benefits should we succeed. I would call that a win-win situation wouldn't you?"

King Vegeta grunted, he didn't like the idea of being used again. At least this time around he would get something out of it besides living to suffer under someone's thumb.

"Only if we manage to pull this off."

"Oh?" Blizzard smiled. "Are you doubting your own warrior race, King of Saiyans?"

"Don't put words into my mouth." Vegeta said unamused. "I am the King of the Saiyans, as such I have to acknowledge every possible outcome that could befall my people."

Blizzard nodded. "I can respect that. After all, what would a ruler be if he didn't plan at least a step ahead. A blind fool destined to ruin that's who."

"Don't interrupt me."

Blizzard chuckled. "My apologies. It's been too long since I had a conversation with someone that I sometimes forget my manners."

"I see your lack of conversation made you forget when to stop running your mouth as well."

Again the Arcosian chuckled. "Quite."

King Vegeta slammed his fist on the arm of his throne. "Is everything I say a joke to you?!"

Blizzard shot the Saiyan King the most serious face the latter had seen him put on.

"Of course not. I value your comments and opinions, Saiyan King. However, due to the fact that I can literally die from old age at any moment I see no need to be uptight about everything!

"I have wasted hundreds of years isolated from the galaxy wallowing in self pity and tormented by what I should have done to prevent the current tyranny, chaos and fear King Cold and his family have been spreading across the stars, all the while wondering if any other member of my family still existed in this reality!"

"So forgive me if how I act offends you, but I think I've more than earned the right to treat everything with a bit of sarcasm and humor!"

King Vegeta replied with silence, shifting his gaze elsewhere across the room.

Blizzard sighed, steadily calming down. That was the first time he yelled in ages.

"So about this legend on the Super Saiyan." The Arcosian said once he regained him composure.

"What of it?" The Saiyan king replied without turning to look at Blizzard.

"I was hoping you could tell me the tale."

"Why? Hoping to learn of some weakness in case you go back on your word?"

Blizzard closed his eyes. "My dear friend, I know you've had an irresolvable relation with Frieza over the years but I assure you that I am not like him nor are many Arcosians. He and his family are blinded by their greed for power and dominance, I seek balance. Now please cease with this senseless paranoia."

King Vegeta let out a small huff, pausing for a few more minutes before offering his reply.

"Fine then." He turned his head back around. "What do you want to know?"

Blizzard smiled as he opened his eyes. "Everything."

The next day...

Bardock walked along the round main corridor of Frieza's spaceship. The proud Saiyan headed for the mess hall in another attempt to stomach what was called "food" by the kitchen staff. All processed, non organic foods that looked as bad as they tasted.

He wished they brought some real meat along for the trip.

He made it about half way when the Saiyan felt a familiar head splitting sensation. His so called physic powers were running wild again.

Bardock knelt down, panting. He placed his right arm over his head as he waited for the uncontrollable visions of the future to pop up in his head.

The first image: The Arcosian Blizzard looking towards a tall building, one far bigger than Bardock had ever seen before. He noticed a small trail of dark purple blood flowing out the corner of Blizzard's mouth. The sounds of explosions echoed all around.

"I'm running out of time." Blizzard said in a whisper.

The second image: Another Arcosian along with a red skinned reptilian humanoid stood inside of another PTO saucer classed ship. This Arcosian look a lot like Frieza and though Bardock never saw him before, he assumed it was the tyrant's older brother Cooler.

"Neizu, open up the private comm channel to my father. I need to have a word with him.

The third image: Several PTO troopers were stationed around numberless consoles, one stood in the center of it all; the commander from the looks of it. Suddenly one of the consoles started beeping.

"What is it?" The commander said as he turned to the trooper stationed by the beeping console.

"Sir! We're underattack!"

"By what?"

The trooper turned his head towards the commander, his eyes petrified with fear.

"By our own sir, its a rebellion!"

The fourth image: A man-no, a Saiyan looking a lot like Bardock stood flashing his teeth angrily at something the latter couldn't quite make out. The Saiyan lookalike and whatever he was facing seemed to be surrounded by wood.

"I HATE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR!" The Saiyan said before his aura flashed golden.

The fifth image: Five PTO soldiers each holding a unique pose in formation. In the background, towering buildings designed in the usual Planet Trade fashion could be seen amongst the occasional flash of light from far away explosions. Bardock recognized these 5 even instantly.

"Together we are! THE GINYU FORCE!" The soldiers of Frieza's private army said in unison.

The sixth image: Another Saiyan from the look off it and a Super Saiyan at that, facing off against Riddic, an older version of Bardock's son Raditz and...

'Me?'

Suddenly the unknown Super Saiyan charged at the trio, screaming as he went.

"KAKAROOOOOOTT!"

"-Bardock!"

Badrock let out a startled yell, he blinked a few times before looking to the one calling out his name. Meeting his gaze was the Saiyan Taivas, whom had crouched over the kneeling Bardock.

"Are you ok?"

"I...I'm fine." Bardock said, wiping sweat from his face. "Just something that happens every now and then."

"Really?" Taivas said as he stood upright. "Cause falling on your knees and blanking out isn't something that happens normally."

"Well its normal for me."

"Right..." Taivas crossed his arms. "Anyway, Riddic wanted to speak to you. So whenever you have the time go see him. He's at the nearest training room from here."

Taivas turned around, waved goodbye, and walked off in the opposite direction.

Bardock stood up, looking at the ground. "Riddic huh..." He mumbled before looking up and continuing toward the mess hall.

Twenty minutes later, in one of the training rooms aboard Frieza's ship...

Riddic sat in the middle of the cold floor, sitting back to back with his friend Roy. Earlier Roy asked Riddic to teach him how to sense energy. The latter was more than happy to point his friend in the right direction.

"Try to feel the living energy flowing through my body." Riddic said. "Don't rely on sight alone, use your other senses."

"Alright..."

"Don't tense up or try to force it. Relax, clear your mind."

Roy frowned, he turned his head towards the silver-haired Saiyan. "How am I supposed to do that if you keep talking?"

Riddic let out a short chuckle. "Sorry, I'll shut up now."

Roy turned his head back around and let out a sigh. He closed his eyes, focusing on his surroundings though his other senses. At first, Roy felt nothing. At least nothing different from when he normally closed his eyes. The Saiyan took a deep breath and exhaled. He eased his shoulders down then began to relax the rest of his body.

It took a few minutes before Roy started to feel something different, a presence of sorts. It was overwhelming.

Roy held his breath for a moment, but by doing so almost lost his focus. He continued his steady breathing pace, then focused on that previous sensation. The source seemed to come from behind him, it took Roy a moment to realize that presence was Riddic.

Then, Roy began to feel another presence. This one was new, yet so familiar. It came from him, this was his own energy. Roy let out a snort, his energy level was far weaker than his friend's, but that was no surprise since Riddic was a Super Saiyan.

Soon after, Roy slowly began to pick up on more 'presences' around him. These were far weaker to Riddic's or even his own in comparison, but that was irrelevant. He could feel them, sense their presence without the aid of a Scouter.

Roy smiled, he opened his mouth to speak when he felt an energy far stronger than even Riddic's.

Roy picked up his breathing a bit. If Riddic's power felt overwhelming to him, this one felt like a cold chill down his spin while at the same time seemingly pressing down on him. It was as if this energy was pushing Roy down in an effort to create more space for itself.

Riddic looked back at his best friend, he let out a half smile before breaking the almost pure silence between them.

"That power your feeling right now, that belongs to Blizzard." Riddic said calmly. "He's power is close to Frieza's. Now you have an idea of what we were up against."

Roy slowed his breathing a tad, he looked back at Riddic with a mix of concern and humor. "Well, weren't we idiotic for trying to fight against something like that."

Riddic grinned his teeth in a smile. "Yeah, if I hadn't ascended we would've been screwed. Immortality or not."

The silver-haired Saiyan swung his head back around, staring at the fall wall.

"I'm glad this worked out. I never really taught someone before."

Roy responded with a single laugh before half turning his body towards his best friend.

"And I'm just dumb enough to be your guinea pig for this experience Riddic."

Riddic whirled his head back to his friend and smiled.

"And I thank you for that. You don't know how proud I am of you."

"Stop it, you're gonna make me blush."

The two Saiyans let out a few laughs. Roy stretched out his legs as he leaned back on the cold floor.

"You know, if you never went with the others to Namek. We wouldn't have known about all these things that most of us considered impossible. Much less having this conversation."

Riddic looked down. Memories flash before his eyes; of his times on Namek, of his friends dying by the hand of his brother and of his transformation. Then, the words of Blizzard that haunted him since yesterday echoed in his mind.

"No one can save everyone. Not even gods."

A sad smile formed on Riddic's face.

"The sacrifice of a few to save the lives of thousands." He said in a whisper. "Funny how a few lives lost can change everything."

Roy eyed Riddic for a moment before looking off to the far wall. "Yeah..." He said, despite knowing that those last few sentences weren't meant for him.

Just then, Roy turned his head to the door. He felt a presence beyond it.

"Is that Bardock?" He asked while he leaned forward, bringing one of his legs back so he could rest his hands on it.

"No, that's another one I've been expecting." Riddic said with a laugh.

As soon as he finished speaking, the door to the training room slid open. Taking two steps inside before pressing her hands on her hips and leaning towards the two Saiyans was none other than Lea.

"Hey~" She said with a gin. "You still feeling down Mr. Super Saiyan?"

Riddic chuckled. "Not so much today Lea."

She leaned back and gave the silver-haired Saiyan a smirk. "That so? Too bad, and here I had a few ideas."

Lea walked towards her mate, stopping a foot from him before she twirled around. (Nearly slapping Roy in the face with the red cloth she wore.)

She bent down, then promptly rolled back with the back of her head crashing onto Riddic's lap. Lea turned to one side, virtually unaffected by her rash move, lifted her hands towards and rested them by Riddic's leg.

She let out a sigh. "You have no idea how many people pester me now that I choose you as my mate. It's a bit exhausting." Lea look up at Riddic and smiled. "It's all worth it though, cause I got you."

Riddic smiled. He ran his hand through Lea's hair. "I'm sorry they're giving you such a hard time."

Lea rolled over in Riddic's lab, still with a smile on her face.

"They'd have bothering me regardless, the only difference is the reason. At least I don't have as many pig headed males pestering me as before. Now its just the one's that foolishly think they're better than a Super Saiyan, and let me tell you there's not much."

Riddic laughed in response.

"Wait what?!" Roy pointed the hand he had resting on his knee at the two. "You two are mates? Since when did this happen?"

The pair look at Roy.

"Since yesterday." They said in unison.

"And you planned on filling me in when exactly?"

"Now." Riddic replied with a smile.

"Oh that's great." Roy crossed his arms, looking away from the two. "You know my mate died not too long ago, in front of my eyes no less! This is just rubbing it in you know!"

"Don't be like that Roy! It just happen so fast."

Lea chuckled as she looked up at her lover. "Not that I gave him much of a choice in the matter."

Riddic closed his eyes, moved his left hand behind his head and let out an awkward laugh.

Roy turned his head back towards the two and frowned. "Yeah whatever, I bet you had this all planned Riddic."

"Oh come on, you know I wouldn't do something like that to you!"

"Maybe," Roy uncrossed his arms before placing his right hand on his chin.

"Then again you were never one to fully plan something out to begin with and you always lost your cool manner every time we seriously talked about getting you a mate..."

He looked up at the ceiling, pondering the chances that this was anything more that a coincidence. Finally, Roy closed his eyes and let out a sigh. He moved his right hand behind his head and began to move it up and down. He stared at Riddic with one eye open.

"Fine, I'll agree that this is nothing more than a coincidence, but don't rub in my face. At least not until we conquered New Arcose ok?"

Riddic smiled, about to agree to his best friend's terms when another voice cut in.

"I'm I interrupting something?" Bardock said before the door behind him closed. He crossed his arms as he stared at Riddic. "If so, I can come back later."

Riddic waved his right hand carelessly at the proud Saiyan. "No, not at all. In fact I wanted to share this with all of you at once."

Bardock closed his eyes, he took a few steps to his right before leaning on the wall. "You have my attention."

Riddic took a deep breath. "As you may or may not have realized, the war we're about to take part in will be on a scale even greater than the Saiyan-Tuffle War. That said, none of us are guarantied to survive."

The silver-haired Saiyan paused for a few moments, looking at each of his friends before continuing. "No matter what moves I nor anyone else makes, their will be losses on our side. Even so, I'll do everything I can to increase the chances of survival."

"Like teaching us how to detect energy without the aid of a Scouter." Roy added.

"You mentioned that before," Bardock said before opening his eyes. "Is such a feat that easy to replicate?"

"Only if you have the patience to learn." Roy replied with a smirk.

"That suits me fine." Lea cut in. "Never did like those Scouters anyway."

"I'd like to start teaching the two of you right away, then once you got the hang of it help me teach this to as many of the others as I can." Riddic said. "If we can have all the commander's able to detect energy at least then that would be a great asset to us."

"If that's so then why didn't you gather all of them together and teach them all from the start?" Bardock pushed himself off the wall. "Would have been a lot less time consuming."

Riddic held up his hand, extending two of his fingers out towards the ceiling. "Two reasons: First, not everyone believes that you can detect power levels without a Scouter despite the fact that I have already explained to them that I could. If I could successfully teach a few how to do so, then the others may start to believe it is possible."

"Tsk, may."

"I won't rule out the really stubborn people who won't accept the truth even though it's dangling in front of their face. Which brings me to the second reason."

"Every person learns at their own pace. Others just don't have the patience. So it would be better to have a few people around who already know how to sense energy before I start try to teach everyone else. Divide and conquer you know?"

"Makes sense." Bardock said with a nod. "Fine, let's get started."

Riddic smiled, he looked down at Lea, that latter was still laying on Riddic's lap.

"Lea, can you get up sweet heart? I wanna show you and Bardock how to sense energy now."

"But it's so comfy.~" Lea said before she rolled over once more.

Riddic chuckled. "I promise you use my lap as a pillow after we're done ok?"

"OK." Lea slowly sat up. "I'll hold you to that."

Riddic chuckled again. He looked over to Bardock whom was strangely smiling.

Unknown to the Super Saiyan, his relationship with Lea reminded the Elite of his own love life.

Gine, Bardock's wife, was left behind on Planet Vegeta. Partly due to her inability to fight very well but mostly cause Bardock convinced her to stay. After all, someone had to stay behind and wait for their eldest son Raditz to return from his training mission.

Roy sat up and started heading towards the door.

"If I'm not needed here I think I'll track down Tavias and Ragu. Someone's gotta show those to the way and I think I'm the only one here with enough patience to deal with those two."

"Those two can be a handful." Riddic said with a chuckle. He waited for Roy to leave before he spoke once again.

"Now then, I want the two of you to settle in a position you find comfortable." He looked at Lea before saying this next bit. "And not on my lap."

Lea simply smirked in response.

"Once you have, close your eyes and use your other senses to focus on the energy flowing from my body." Riddic continued. "Whatever you do remember that you need to stay relaxed otherwise you'll never pull this off."

Without another word, Bardock and Lea settled into a relaxing pose. Soon enough, they experienced the same sensation Roy had felt a few minutes prior.

Riddic smiled, glad that his efforts were baring fruit and ultimately helping to increase their chances of survival if only slight.

The day of the invasion, a few hours away from New Arcose...

Blizzard, Riddic, King Vegeta along with every other commander and squad leader aboard Frieza's ship gathered around the same holographic table they had a few short days ago. They reviewed their plan of attack as well as finalize a few small details.

Though they were a few hours away from their destination, many amongst those gathered here were anxious for battle. Others felt a sense of pride, knowing that with this upcoming battle they would officially declare their freedom from the tyranny of the Planet Trade Organization.

"So its decided," Blizzard said while hunched over the holographic table.

"Bardock will lead the force going east to link up with whomever allies they come across and form a defensive line to isolate that route to the central control building. Daizu will lead our force along the coast, and King Vegeta will lead our main force down the center."

The large Arcosian picked his head up, looking at the many brave souls before him. It was a shame to think that some of them would parish in the chaos there were about to cause.

"Are there any questions?"

Silence was their only answer.

Blizzard nodded. "May the gods smile upon our inevitable victory."

"And to the Super Saiyan whom will surely bring it!" A humanoid trooper shouted before realizing the awkward situation he place himself in and slowly began to take a few steps back.

Riddic took a step towards the holographic table.

"It's not I would will bring this victory alone." He held his hand out, slowly moving it from side to side. "Rather, it will be brought from the efforts of everyone gathered here. Together, we will overcome anything the PTO has to throw at us."

"Well said." Blizzard said with a nod. "Rest up, for in a few hours we shall embark on the path to free ourselves and all others from the shackles of King Cold and his family. Dismissed."

Hours later. On a far off planet controlled by the Planet Trade.

"It's time." A purple skinned humanoid said to his fellow troopers. (You can imagine this guy as one of Cui's race if you wanna.)

They were members of Blizzard's loyalists. On this planet, they weren't many loyal to the old Arcosian but they were certainly stronger than most of the PTO troopers stationed on this fringe world.

The only reason they were sent to this world in the first place was to be apart of a series of diversions set to go off throughout the territory maintained by Frieza. Hopefully keeping enough attention away from the true targets of Lord Blizzard and his Saiyan allies.

Many knew that those sent on these diversionary assaults would most likely parish, but on a fringe world such as this their chances were pretty good. Potentially more so if you factor in the prisoners sent here to work the mines of this dead planet. Surely with some persuasion these men and women would fight along side them. Many despised the current PTO and would happily give some payback if they had the chance.

"We'll act according to plan." He said. "Should the first phase succeed as we hoped, we'll meet at rendezvous point 3."

The other loyalists nodded in response before heading out. The purple humanoid turned a full 180, raised and looked down at his hand before clenching it, then moved off to his first target: Communications.

He moved quickly towards the desired room, knowing that his comrades would strike at anytime meant that he had a small window to cut off contact from the rest of the PTO before word of their uprising got out.

The purple humanoid reached the door to the communications room, he paused to take in a deep breath before placing his hand on the keypad. He pressed a button, the door in front of him slid open. Quietly the loyalist moved inside as he quickly scanned around the room.

There were only two guards stationed here, they were in deep conversation and didn't notice his entry. A quick check from his Scouter confirmed that these two were pushovers.

The loyalist gave a half smile before raising his right hand towards one of the two and fired an energy blast.

The headless trooper fell with a thump, his colleague spun towards the blast origin. He clench his fists, the trooper's face portrayed a mix of anger, confusion and shock.

"What are you doing?!" He shouted despite the answer being quite obvious.

The purple humanoid loyalist aimed his hand towards the surviving trooper. He stared at the latter, looking directly into the confused trooper's eyes as energy formed in the palm of his hand.

"Long live Lord Blizzard."

Meanwhile. Planet New Arcose, at the designated LZ.

As planed, an hour before the bulk of the Saiyan collision force arrived squads of Saiyan shock troopers arrived in their Attack Pods, signalling Blizzard's loyalists to start their coup.

By the time they arrived in orbit, the capital was in utter chaos. The trooper in charge of Air Traffic Controls was all to happy when he detected Frieza's saucier like ship. Once he cleared they for landing it was all smooth sailing till they reach the surface.

When the captured ship finished landing; Blizzard, Riddic, King Vegeta and his son accompanied by a number of Royal Guardsmen were the first to exited the ship.

Soon after,a well built, purple-red skinned demon looking humanoid approached the group.

He was bald with two goat horns that framed his forehead, dull light blue eyes, two long sharp teeth popping out of the corners of his mouth, a few strains of hair coming out of his chin and a short dull blond colored pony tail on the back of his head. These were the only forms of facial hair the demon seemed to process.

"Lord Blizzard." The demonic looking man said as he drew near.

"We have secured the surrounding sectors to the North and South. I have men stationed along the borders and others moving to link up with the forward troops to the West. The coastline to the East is still in enemy hands however, as are the territory between this LZ and the Control Building."

"What of the Communications Tower? Has that been occupied?"

The demon nodded. "Affirmative. It was the first building we captured, however there remains the possibility that they managed to get a message out before we took control."

Blizzard smiled. "Excellent work Captain Drak. The situation is better than I hoped." The Arcosian turned his head to Riddic. "Allow me to introduce one of my most trusted men: Captain Drak."

The demon turned his attention to the silver-haired Saiyan, he nodded his head slightly.

"So you are Riddic." He said with a hint of curiosity. "It is an honor to fight alongside the man who finally put an end to that upstart Frieza."

Riddic moved his hand to the back of his head, replying to the captain with a short chuckle.

Blizzard spoke once more. "He hails from the Demon Realm, a world parallel to this reality."

"A demon huh?" Prince Vegeta added. "Well his looks certainly match one that's for sure."

Captain Drak shot a looked at the Saiyan prince that made him flinch.

"Now now Drak, the boy doesn't mean anything by it." Blizzard said as he held up one hand towards the demon. "He's just ecstatic about seeing a demon for the first time is all."

Drak let out a snort before returning his gaze to his lord. "If you say so, my lord."

Blizzard looked at Riddic once more.

"I hold Drak in high esteem Riddic. Back when I was in charge of the Planet Trade, Captain Drak was one of my finest warriors as well as one of my best commanders."

Drak closed his eyes before crossing his well built arms.

"I am ashamed to admit that I have grown soft in these many years due to my station, but I possess more than enough power to keep even the mighty Ginyu force in check. I offer my assistance in anyway possible."

"I can tell." Riddic said with a smile. "Your power level is the third strongest here."

Captain Drak opened his eyes, he tilted his head back a bit. "So you can sense power levels too..."

Riddic widened his smile. "I'm not the only one here who can."

"Is that so?" Captain Drak unfolded his arms. "Good, relying on a handicap like the Scouters will only get you killed."

"Enough talk." King Vegeta cut in. "We're short on time as it is."

"Agreed." Blizzard said. "Captain Drak, I want you to maintain the perimeter around this LZ. Our Saiyan allies will handle the rest of the assault from here."

"Understood." Captain Drak saluted the Arcosian, turned around, and walked off in that direction.

Blizzard turned his head towards the Saiyan King. "If your men are ready, you can begin the assault at anytime."

King Vegeta nodded, then spun around and paced towards the ship followed closely behind by most of the Royal Guardsmen. The young Prince moved to follow him, but was stopped by Blizzard.

"Wait Prince Vegeta." He called out, the latter turned. Glaring at the huge Arcosian.

"What is it?"

"You are to remain behind, as part of our reserve unit."

"What!? Why wou-"

"By order of your Father." Blizzard lied. "Besides, we can't send all of our best fighters out in the opening stage of this assault now can we?"

Prince Vegeta frowned. If that was true, then why didn't his father say so in front of him? To spare himself from his son's argument? Ha, that was just like him. The Prince of Saiyans paused for a moment, finally registering the rest of what Blizzard had said.

Vegeta smirked, glad that someone had realized his worth. Even if it was an Arcosian.

"I guess you have a point. No need to send a super elite like myself out with the rest of the cannon fodder. Best wait till they clear the way before I steal all the glory."

With a laugh, Prince Vegeta spun back around and -while being followed by the few remaining Royal Guardsmen- continued off towards the ship.

Blizzard smirked. "That went easier than expected."

"A swear that kid's gonna grow up to be a major pain in the ass one day." Riddic said as he scratched the tip of his head. "I just hope I don't have to deal with him when he's all grown up."

Blizzard chuckled. "I wouldn't be so sure. Anything can happen." He turned back to his Saiyan friend. "As a precaution and to better sell our story, we'll have Roy, Tavias, Ragu and Paragus placed in the reserve unit also."

"Sounds good. Now how about-" Riddic cut himself off, he closed his eyes and smirked.

"You know I can sense you Lea." He opened his eyes and turned around, meeting the gaze of his mate.

Lea stuck her tongue out at the latter. "Can't blame a girl for trying."

"Something wrong?"

"No." Lea placed both her hands behind her back. "Just wanted to see you before I rush off into battle with Bardock is all."

Riddic raised his eyebrow as gave his mate a smile. "Oh? Is that all you wanted?"

Lea grinned his teeth in a smile. "Well~" She took a few casual steps towards Riddic. "That's not the only reason I came to you."

Lea continued forward until she stood in front of Riddic. She pressed forward, leaning against her mate's chest. She moved his left hand up, gliding across her lover's chest as she worked her way towards his chin.

"I thought I'd steal another kiss from those lips of yours before I go."

Riddic tilted his head towards the right, grinning his teeth in a smile. His cheeks started to glow a dull bright red.

"Don't I get a say in the matter?"

Lea chuckled. "No."

They held each other in their arms, staring into the others eyes before locking their lips together. Though it lasted a few moments, the kiss these two shared seemed to last so much longer.

The pulled apart, holding each other at arms length.

"Wish me luck." Lea said with a smile, her cheeks glowed bright red.

Riddic nodded. "Give them hell."

Lea turned around, she took a few steps away before turning her head back towards her mate.

"I'll see you again, Mr. Super Saiyan."

Riddic held his left hand up to his head, waving goodbye to his mate. "I'll hold you to it."

Lea nodded, she turned back around and jogged off to the area Bardock and his force were gathering.

"She's quite thee...persuasive type isn't she?" Blizzard said, regaining his friend's attention.

Riddic watched as Lea walked off. "She's certainly something else I'll tell you that."

"Indeed." Blizzard let out a sigh.

"Riddic, it's not that I'm condoning your relationship with her, but you are aware that the closer you two are the harder it will be when you witness her death. Whether she falls in this or some future battle or from old age, you will live on with a scar in your heart. Forever knowing that once she's gone, you will never see her again. Thus is the curse of eternal life, or anything close to it."

Riddic turned around, staring straight into the Arcosian's eyes. "I am aware of that eventuality Blizzard, but that doesn't mean I should isolate myself from everyone. I want to enjoy these feelings here and now, when the inevitable happens then I will deal with it. For now..."

He looked back at Lea. "For now, I rather not think about it. I want to savor this moment, for as long as it lasts."

Blizzard closed his eyes. "I understand."

With that, he turned back towards the ship and moved inside. There was no time to play these games, right now he needed to focus on the task at hand.

When this was all over, he will have plenty of time to prepare Riddic for the curse of an eternal life.

Thirty minutes after the landing...

Everything seemed to be going according to plan.

Bardock and his unit linked up with a majority of the Saiyan shock troopers and Loyalists along the east path and formed a defensive line three miles long. They formed in time to repel a somewhat minor enemy counter assault from that way.

Daizu's unit swept along the coastline, though they didn't make as much progress as Blizzard hoped due to the fierce resistance up that way they were still making good time.

King Vegeta and the Saiyan army simply crushed everything along the center path.

However, Blizzard knew that the enemy had plenty of time to regroup before they arrived. This meant that either the commander stationed here was an idiot or they were walking into a trap.

Per Blizzard's 'request', King Vegeta formed a vanguard lead by Commander Nappa to push ahead of the main force. If there was an ambush ahead, these men would find it.

"Lord Blizzard." One of the troopers stationed at a console said. "We have confirmed reports of other Arcosians battling against our forces. Some are proving too strong for our men to handle."

Blizzard let out a sigh. "I suspected this might happen. Either they are Cold family members, supporters, or those who feel the need to protect their home."

He paused for a moment. "Send Riddic to deal with these upstarts, but tell him to try talking with them first. If they are just protecting their home then we maybe able to sway them to our cause or at the very least get them to stand aside."

"Yessir!" The trooper quickly sent out the message using the same type of cylinder comms device Blizzard had given Riddic.

Blizzard slid back a tad in his makeshift chair.

He silently chuckled. How nostalgic this was, commanding troops once again. It was all thanks to Riddic, if the Super Saiyan never came upon the Arcosian in his exile, he would still be on that frozen wasteland wasting away as he waited for the end of his life.

It was funny, at one time Blizzard wanted nothing more than for his life to end, now he hoped it would last long enough for him to see the end of this war or at the very least the end of this battle.

A sharp pain ran though the Arcosian's chest, he instinctively grabbed at it. Blizzard frowned as he realized what the pain meant. He sighed once more. It would seem that his wish would soon come true after all.

Just not the one he desired most.

Riddic received Blizzard's message and immediately stepped into action. The Saiyan sensed out the strongest energies that he didn't recognize and focused on the closest one. Thanks to his Instant Transmission, Riddic appeared beside the Arcosian in a second.

Startled by the Saiyan's sudden appearance, he jumped away. Riddic turned to the Arcosian.

The latter was small, seemingly in the first form state. He had no horns though, only little white bumps at the sides of his head were his horns would have been. He featured the same white and purple colored body as many Arcosians in that form had, the round center part of his head as well as his underarms and lower chest areas were colored orange.

"Who are you!?" He said, revealing his somewhat creaky voice. "You know what, it doesn't matter!"

The Arcosian rushed at Riddic while pulling his right fist back. "You're an invader! Get the hell of my planet!"

Riddic caught the small Arcosian's fist. The latter's eyes widened in shock.

"Stand down!" Riddic shouted. "We aren't here to destroy or enslave your kind! We are here for one thing, to free ourselves from the Planet Trade. If you stand down now I can and will guaranty the safety of you and your family."

"Why should I believe anything you say?!"

The Arcosian fired a finger beam with his free arm. The blast hit Riddic in the face, causing it to stagger up. The Arcosian smiled, but it quickly faded into a look of shock mixed with fear as the Saiyan slowly lowered his head.

"Because I could have stopped your attack but chose to let it hit me to show how overpowered you are. Because I could have killed you the moment I appeared beside you, but chose not to."

Riddic let go of the Arcosian's fist before he continued. "Because I chose to show you by any means that what I say is true. Must I go on?"

The Arcosian dropped to his knees, speechless by the Saiyan's overwhelming strength. The latter sighed, he turned around.

"Go back to your home and advise those of you like minded to do the same. Our men have been instructed to only engage Arcosians that have attacked them first."

Riddic looked over his shoulder, staring at the small Arcosian. "If I catch you out here fighting our people again. I will kill you." He turned his head back around, then placed two fingers on his forehead.

"Consider this your only warning."

Zipp!

Riddic had vanish as quickly as he appeared, moving to the next Arcosian causing difficulties for his allies.

A few minutes later...

"Watch those men on the right!" Bardock yelled.

A moment later, he along with a number of other Saiyans fired energy waves at a group of PTO troopers attempting to flank them. The group was instantly vaporized.

Bardock lowered his hand. Those soldiers were the last remnants of a sad excuse of a counterattack set by the enemy forces in the neighboring section.

It was only a matter of time before a more organized assault came from that way, and it was up to Bardock's task force to hold them long enough for the enemy Control Center to fall.

"Alright, stay alert. More will-"

Without any warning, a shape pain etched into Bardock's mind. The pain was followed by a loud screeching that seemed to echo inside his skull. The latter grinned his teeth, grasping at the sides of his head.

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

Bardock dropped to his knees, screaming in pain.

"Bardock?! What's wrong?" One of the other Saiyan's said before rushing to their commander's side.

The Saiyan elite responded with more screams, striking concern into his men.

With each passing moment the pain going through Bardock's head grew worse. It felt like someone was using a knife to pull his brain out through his feet.

And the screeching, OH! If sounded as if a thousand tiny bats were all trying to sing AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!

It was unbearable!

Amongst the pain and the screeching, flashes of various people and places popped up one after another before fading as quick as they came. Bardock might have vaguely made out these images or even caught some of the phrases they were saying if it wasn't for these painfully annoying nuances attacking his head!

More of Bardock's men gathered around, some placed their hands on his back while other spoke their concern, all while trying to understand what was happening to their commander.

Blood trickled down the Bardock's nose as he continued to cry out in pain.

After a few more moments, his screams came to a hault as he fell on his side.

One of the Saiyans by Bardock's side checked his pulse. The latter sighed as he confirmed Bardock was still alive.

"We need to get him out of here." One of the Saiyan's said. "He's unconscious, no use to us he-"

"Enemy attack!"

As soon as those words rang out, battle cries of at least a hundred PTO troopers rang out. A moment afterward, Ki waves and blasts flew passed the Saiyans from the enemy soldiers that seemed to be coming out every little crack and corner before them.

"Goddamn!" The Saiyan whom spoke before raised his arms, he quickly fired off a session of energy blasts at the incoming wave of soldiers.

"Get him to the ship now! We'll hold them off go!"

Meanwhile, at New Arcose CC...

PTO soldiers frantically ran back and forth, typed on their consoles or barked out orders over their Scouters. It was a mess, but a more organized mess then an hour ago.

The Saiyan assault followed by the coup staged by some traitors certainly caught them by surprise, and just when they were getting a handle on the situation Frieza's ship appeared in orbit.

Of course they cleared it for landing, no one in their right mind would deny Lord Frieza. That was when everything spiraled out of control.

It started with Frieza's ship landing in a zone held by the rebels. At first, the commanders here though Frieza was taking the fight to the enemy and quickly moved forces to join up with their master. Turns out it was the opposite.

The entire Saiyan army, along with a force of more traitors emerged from the ship and began to claw a path towards this very building.

This shocked many of the commanders. How did the Saiyans manage to obtain Frieza's ship? Where was Lord Frieza? Was he dead, kill by the Saiyans?

This very likely possibility struck panic and fear into the hearts of every single PTO soldier here. In fact, it was due to this possibility that some of the more fanatical commanders committed suicide.

Everyone was at a loss, unsure of what to do. Hell they didn't even know if their attempts at calling for help had reached anyone before the Communications Tower was captured.

At that point, a number of officers considered surrendering to the Saiyans.

That was when Commander Ledgic took charge. He rallied his fellow officers, claiming that Saiyans simply don't take prisoners and would surely kill them all regardless. He then asked for a volunteer to slip passed the enemy and gather reinforcements from the eastern districts.

Fortunately that volunteer made it threw in time to avoid the newly formed enemy defensive line, though that line would delay their reinforcements a bit.

Ledgic realized the enemy offensive heavily counted on a quick and decisive win. If they could hold out, buy enough time for reinforcements to arrive then they would win.

The average Saiyan boasts about strength and such, yet this is well deserved, for the Saiyans were some of the best warriors Commander Ledgic had seen, but that didn't mean they were without weaknesses.

In order to play on the Saiyans greatest weakness -their pride- Ledgic had the bulk of their forces along the center path fall back, making it seem like the Saiyan Army had crushed their defenses with ease and luring them to the ambush were they will be at least delayed for awhile.

This plan was somewhat countered though by the Saiyan vanguard that drifted ever closer to the ambush point.

Whoever was commanding the enemy certainly knew a bit about tactics. It's hard to believe that this commander was a Saiyan, perhaps it was one of the other traitors?

"Sir, I'm detecting five Attack Pod signals coming into orbit. Friendlies." The trooper assigned to Airtraffic control reported.

"Every Attack Pod is registered as a friendly," Commander Ledgic bluntly said. "Which unit are they from?"

"Sir," The trooper's face brightened with a smile. "It's the Ginyus sir! The Ginyu Force is here!"

Commander Ledgic let out a sigh of relief. He didn't have to wait for those other reinforcements after all.

"Finally some good news." He extended his hand outward. "Give me a secure channel to Captain Ginyu! I need to fill him on the situation."

"Right away!"

A few minutes later, a trooper came running up to Commander Ledgic, a Scouter firmly held in his hand.

The trooper held out the device to Ledgic. "Apologies sir, but this was the only way we could give you a secure channel. It maybe a bit patchy due to interference."

Ledgic took the Scouter. These devices never fit properly on his oddly shaped head. "No matter, I'll work with what I can get."

The bluish green humanoid held the device up to his oddly covered ear. With the same hand he used to hold the Scouter up, he pressed the only button on the small device, allowing him to talk to the feared and respected commando.

"Captain Ginyu? This is Commander Ledgic. We have a bit of a mess for you to clean up here."

A moment passed before the reply came threw.

"So I've heard commander!" Ginyu's voice came over the comm, bits of static noise popped out between every word.

"Tell me, how can the most illustrious fighting force in the universe help you today? Mwahaha Hahaha Ahahahahahahaha!"

And here we are the end of another entry to the wonderful world of Double SS.

Not as much action as some of you may have expected, but there will be plenty in the next entry. After all I just gave a reason why there will be.

So hopefully you noticed that I decided to throw Ledgic (Yes GT Ledgic) in there. Originally I was all meh about using his character until I saw a vague picture of him, or someone of the same race, in the background of a page from the Revival of F manga. (Which I still haven't fully read btw) With that and the fact that he somehow knows about Saiyans, I decided to throw him in there for the hell of it.

Also LEA X RIDDIC SHIP IT. Sorry couldn't help that ahaha, but speaking of it you had to suspect something like this would happen sooner or later. Thought it might be a bit more...spicy to have that relationship start before the War for Freedom and of All Hell and Chaos began.

No that's not what I'm gonna call this war, sorry if you like the title but it's not happening.

And the intro of a new character Captain Drak. When I was watching the Buu saga one time(and remembering the bits from Dragon Ball) I realized how underdeveloped the Demon Realm was as well as its inhabitants. I figured like why the hell not throw in a few demons here and there? I mean they all but admitted that the portal to that realm is open so who's to say that from time to time demons pop into our would just to say hi?

Well more than hi but you get the point. As for the Demon Realm, I have this whole arc in mind for that place just much further down the road.

And cheese narrator time go!

How will the arrival of the Ginyu Force affect the Saiyan Rebellion? Will Cooler, whom is watching from orbit, finally make a move? What will become of Bardock? And will Blizzard hold off death long enough to see an end to this war?

Who will remain standing once the dust settles? Find out on the next installment of Dragon Ball Double S!
