Ch 2 Uprising - The Ginyu Force

The attack on this prison planet had better than expected in the initial phases. Communications were cut off, all the prisoners on the eastern side were freed and most now fought with them. The PTO troopers were fully taken by surprise, but showed signs that they were railing.

The first major sign was the unexpected resistance in the center courtyard. The majority of the prisoners along with a number of the coup forces encountered a heavily defended and hastily built system of barricades and energy shields. The loyalists holding that position were stubbornly dug in and didn't wish to give up the center courtyard.

This slowed the momentum the coup forces desperately relied on and after twenty minutes of incense combat, forced them to pull back and attempt a flanking maneuver.

As the coup forces and the accompanying prisoners moved about the flank, some started to question the reason why they were fighting or utter some babble that demoralized the group as a whole.

"Man, I don't wanna die here." One of the prisoners mumbled. "I have a family damn it."

"Assuming they still remember you after so long." Another replied.

The first grabbed the second by the neck. "Take that back, scum!"

"Fuck you." The second spat on the latter's face. The first grinned his teeth, pulling his fist back.

"You ask for this-!"

"Enough!" One of the coup trooper shouted, passing by several people as he approached the two. "Nothing will benefit us if you two try and kill each other!"

"Go blow some space dust asshole!"

"We're only in this mess cause you dragged us with you!"

At that moment, a third prisoner approached the group. He was a bald muscular humanoid, and fairly tall at that, with a 'no nonsense' look about him. He picked up the two bickering prisoners by their throats, chocking them with his large hands. The two struggled in his grasp, but nothing they did even phased the large prisoner.

There was a loud snap, the two in his hands fell limp. With as much as a word, the humanoid threw the two corpses aside. He stared at the coup trooper, the latter processing mixed emotions and simply held his ground.

The large man turned around, facing a number of his fellow inmates. "Look," He pointed to the cast aside bodies. "That is what happens to those who don't know."

Moments passed. One of the other prisoners nervously raised his hand. "D-don't know what, s-sir?"

The large man stared at the prisoner, filling the latter with dread. He quickly stepped over, towering directly over the one who dared ask. The large man stood there for a few moments in silence, causing the latter to shake in fear.

"That those who only complain," The large humanoid suddenly boomed out. "Are nothing more than dead weight."

He turned, keeping his gaze on the prisoner for a few more moments before striding down the artificial hallway.

The coup trooper -whom tried to break up the bickering prisoners- took a few steps forward, watching in awe at the cold brutality of the man he and his fellow troopers helped free.

"Just what is that man?"

"That Surge." One of the remaining prisoners answered. "A mass murderer wanted in several solar systems. His brutality is as cold as his personality."

The coup trooper gulped. He knew that there were some dangerous men and women held prisoner by the Planet Trade, but to see one, to experience what he just witnessed, left a very deep impression.

As long as that brutality was aimed at those loyal to the Cold Family, then he wouldn't have a problem working with such a man. Come to think of it, he already did.

After all, he did 'work' for Frieza.

New Arcose, CC landing pad.

Ledgic decided to personally great the Ginyu force upon their arrival. Anything less would be an insult to the select private army of Lord Frieza, and that was almost like insulting the feared Arcosian personally. Needless to say, any sane person wouldn't wish to inquire the wrath of these respected and powerful fighters.

Unless they had a death wish of course.

The commander walked out on the landing pad, the Ginyu Forces' Attack Pods still smoked from reentry. Ledgic paced to the center, facing the center pod.

Moments passed, the Attack Pods finally ceased smoking. A minute after, the pods opened up one at a time. After they were fully opened, the members of the Ginyu Force slowly appeared out of their individual pods.

There was Recoome, the strongest next to Ginyu as well as the most human looking. The man was pure stupid though, and the most enthusiastic when preforming their signature poses.

Burter, the Blue Hurricane and self proclaimed fastest in the universe, and Jeice, the Red Magma. These two worked as a team, and were quite a deadly pair. Individually they were strong as well, between Burter's impressive speed and Jeice being an all-round fighter.(Not too good at one thing, but good enough at everything.)

Then there was Guldo, the newest addition to the Ginyu Force. Quite frankly many were shocked that Frieza placed this small, fat four eyed alien in such a high position. His power level was even weaker than the Arcosian's lieutenants Zarbon and Dadoria. There was one rumor though that seemed to make sense why this weakling was place on the esteemed Ginyu Force: Guldo has the ability to stop time. It was only a rumor, but one that made the most sense.

And finally, Captain Ginyu himself. This man was easily twice as strong as any on his squad. Most claim that he's the strongest fighter Frieza has under his thumb, and wouldn't be wrong. With a power level of 120,000, Captain Ginyu could easily take out half of the entire Planet Trade Organization's fighting force if he felt the need.

Another notable feature was his undying loyalty to Lord Frieza. Many under the Arcosian's rule follow him threw fear or some fanatical notion of working under a god.

Captain Ginyu was different, he followed Frieza loyalty under a notion of respect and admiration. How or why this relationship between the two is unknown to many within the empire, but with the known fact that Ginyu has lasted longer than any under the tyrant's command only hints that he may have been with Lord Frieza since the beginning of his reign over the PTO, or at least the longest any soldier has been.

The commander waited to the esteemed fighting force to gather before speaking.

"Thank you for coming." Ledgic said, placing a hand on his chest. "As you are well aware, the situation is grave."

"This is the pearl of Lord Frieza's empire." Ginyu said with a smirk "Anyone truly loyal to our lord would naturally rush to defend such a high prize."

He began to walk forward, passing Ledgic as he headed inside. "Now, what are the details of our defenses and the enemy fighting strength?"

Commander Ledgic spun around, keeping pace with the veteran commando. Following behind them were the rest of the Ginyu Force.

"There are three enemy forces threatening our position." Commander Ledgic began. "One is along the coast to the east. Comprise mainly of traitors, they are making slow progress against our defenses that way."

"Along the west is an enemy defensive line three miles wide. Comprised of a mix of Saiyan and rebel forces, they are holding off the reinforcements I requested from the areas beyond that way."

"The last force, is the bulk of the Saiyan Army charging down our center. I have been luring them towards and ambush closer to our perimeter. It's a gamble, but one that should buy enough time for the rest of our reinforcements to break threw enemy lines."

"I'm impressed Commander, Ledgic was it?" Ginyu tilted his head back as he said the last bit. "You seem to be a man of great tactical intellect. Many at your rank couldn't do half of what you've done today even if they tried."

"Thank you sir."

Captain Ginyu whirled his head back around. "The situation is better than even I hoped for!" He let out a laugh. "Once we drive off the enemy forces, I'll be sure to mention your name to Lord Frieza when he returns."

"About that..." Ledgic paused. "The bulk of the enemy forces arrived using Lord Frieza's ship."

Captain Ginyu suddenly hauled, his gaze still fixed on the hallway before him. "Go on."

"It would seem." Commander Ledgic let out a sigh. "It is quite possible that Lord Frieza is dead."

Captain Ginyu spun around with a speed that surprised the talented commander. The forward took a step towards Ledgic, staring into his eyes. "Did the Saiyans, these traitors portray Lord Frieza's body for all to see?"

"No sir."

"Did they ever make a claim that they killed or even defeated our lord and master?"

"No, not yet at least."

"Then he's not dead."

"I only stated that there is a possibility-"

"Then he's not dead."

"We have no confirmation that h-"

"Then Lord Frieza is not dead."

The tone in Captain Ginyu's voice changed. It held anger, furry even, but in a restrained way. Commander Ledgic held his ground, staring into the fiercely loyal commando's eyes.

The two stood still for what seemed to be hours, but was actually minutes before Ledgic let out a sigh.

"I agree."

Ginyu took a step back. "Good." He spun around, continuing on his way to the command center. Ledgic followed a moment afterward, as well as the rest of the Ginyu force.

The band of soldiers reached the command center, technical officers and other staff ran back and forth from console to console attempting to make up for the lack of support staff as a number of the more fanatical troopers committed suicide some time ago.

Captain Ginyu quickly paced to a the holotable in the middle of the floor, as he went some of the PTO troopers running around stopped and saluted the man. Even in a situation as disastrous as this, these men knew to respect their superiors. Especially the leader of Lord Frieza's personal commando unit.

He reached the end of the table, placing his hands on the end as he studied the current projection. It was a real time image of the Command Center building and the surrounding territory.

The purple colored, horned alien stared at the hologram for several long moments, his eyes darting across the vast real time image.

Once he was satisfied, Ginyu pushed himself off the table. "Here's our plan of action." He said before spinning around, facing his subordinates. Ginyu looked to his left first.

"Burter and Jeice, you two will smash through the defensive line to the west and open a path for our reinforcements."

"Not a prob Capt'in." Jeice replied with a wink.

"We'll crush them in no time." The Blue Hurricane added, clenching one of his fist as he slammed it into the other.

Captain Ginyu shifted his gaze to the right.

"Recoome and Guldo, assist our forces to the east and push those traitors back."

"Alright! I get to have some fun with those no good traitors!" Recoome replied with a laugh.

"I'll do my best Captain!" The newest member of the Ginyu Force added.

Captain Ginyu centered his gaze, looking directly at Commander Ledgic. He smiled, thrusting a thumb at his purple face.

"I will destroy the Saiyan vanguard heading down the center, then pull back to the ambush point where we will crush the 'mighty' Saiyan Army!"

He lowered his arm, turning to his right and started to head off. The Ginyu Force followed their commander, Ledgic followed shortly after.

The group stopped on a open platform overlooking the courtyard before the Command Center: A few plants and other vegetation off to the sides, a ring fountain in the center, but mostly stairs and tiled floors.

The Ginyu Force walked to the edge of the platform before turning around to face Commander Ledgic. The were arranged as followed: Ginyu in the center, Guldo to his right, Jeice to the left and Recoome and Burter standing behind them in that order.

The five man force held their hands behind their backs, grinning at the commander.

"Sir, what should I-"

Ginyu held a hand out, cutting Ledgic off. He held one finger to his lips, signalling the commander to be quiet. A few moments passed before Captain Ginyu uttered a word.

"Sound off!"

In a flash, the five commandos positioned themselves in 5 unique, and quite odd, poses.

"Recoome!"

"Burter!"

"Guldo!"

"Jeice!"

"Captain Ginyu!"

"Together we are!" They yelled in complete unison. "THE GINYU FORCE!"

A explosion echoed the very next moment, adding a dramatic flare to the...interesting roll call or whatever they wished to call it.

Commander Ledgic raised his eyebrow in confusion. This was the odd tradition set long ago by King Cold for all special forces, though Captain Ginyu and his fighting force took that tradition to a whole new level.

He raised his hands an let out a slow clap for about ten seconds. "Very...original."

Several minutes later...

The eastern defensive line was a mess, holding but a mess. First, the enemy reinforcements they've been waiting for arrived a tad earlier than expected. Normally this would've been manageable if weren't for the second thing: Bardock been taking out of action. Now he wasn't dead or anything, but unconscious and completely unable to give out orders.

Thanks to that, no one knows who exactly is in command anymore.

That uncertainty along with Bardock being out of the fight hit our moral hard. Sure we were holding, but for how long? If someone didn't step up soon...

Energy blasts flew in every available space as the two forces exchanged fire. It was a blaster fight, and with the cover on both sides meant it would last a long time.

Lea hopped over a half broken wall, a Ki blast exploded where she was a moment earlier.

"They're relentless." She said, sliding down to her knees. She smiled, letting out a chuckle. "They give those stalkers of mine a run for their money."

"Psst." A voice to her right said. She turned, looking at one of Blizzard's loyalists: A helmet wearing trooper with an artificial Ki blaster. The man waved at her. "This way!" He said in a low kept voice.

She crawled over to the humanoid, occasionally a Ki blast flew overhead. Lea reached the man, placing her back to the wall. "What's going on?"

"Nothing much aside from being shot at." The trooper replied. "We're trying to figure out how many of us are left on this end."

"We?" Lea picked up her eyebrow. She glanced behind the helmet wearing trooper, noticing a handful of other friendly soldiers taking cover in the ruin area. Mostly loyalists, though there was two or three Saiyans in the bunch.

Some were firing back at the incoming enemy forces while other stayed behind cover as they were trying to figure out who was in command.

The trooper next to Lea let out a sigh. "No one has a clue about what the hell's going on anymore." He lowered his head, shaking it back and forth. "Good grief. Figures we'd fall to pieces once our CO's out of commission. So much for the chain of command."

Lea though on that for a few moments. The trooper had a point. No one was stepping up to fill Bardock's shoes, not that the latter would admit it but after years of combat Bardock did know how to effectively win battles while being a source of inspiration to all who fought along side him. Now that he's out of commission, everyone's too afraid to step up.

If someone doesn't fix this mess soon, then not only they but the entire operation falls to pieces. That was something that cannot be allowed to happen.

Lea sat up, revealing herself from the stomach up. Causally, she walked over to the group huddled over by the ruins. Ki blasts flew past her, both in front and behind. The Saiyan remained unphased as she went.

Once she neared the group, they all looked in her direction.

"Are you crazy?" One of them said. "Take cover before you get your head blown off!"

Lea ignored the trooper. She glanced at each of them, holding her silence as she looked into their eyes.

"You are pathetic." She said bluntly, the group responded with raised eyebrows or arguing shouts.

"Am I wrong?" She placed her hand on her hip. "One man falls and everyone losses their nerve!" A Ki blast flew directly in front of her face as she finished the last bit.

"Look at you, your nothing but a bunch of sniveling cowards! And you call yourselves men, ha what a joke."

One of the troopers stood up: He was a red horned ugly looking humanoid with two large fangs popping out of the corners of his mouth.

"Listen you litt-"

Another held his hand out in front of the first. The forward was a blue skinned humanoid with long yellow hair. He glanced at the first trooper, then at Lea.

"We are all a bit confused is all." This trooper said, trying to defuse the situation. "Our CO is down, and with no clear idea on who exactly is in charge right now we have to take time to verify the situation."

"Verify the situation?" Lea let out a laugh. "Look around! Their people shooting at us and we're shooting right back! Or at least should be, no thanks to you taking a moment to 'verify the situation.'"

"That's not what I-"

"Shut up would you?" Lea turned to her left, facing the incoming PTO troopers. "It should be obvious what needs to be done. So what if no one's in command? That hardly matters now."

"Our job is to hold on as long as possible and that's exactly what we are going to do." Lea took a step forward, she threw her hand forward. "If you men call yourselves warriors, then you show it by defeating each one of these small fry coming to try and take away our lives!"

The group of troopers glance at one another for a few moments. The red horned loyalist smiled. "Like these weaklings can even do that!" He yelled, brushing past Lea.

"You're absolutely right." The blue skinned trooper said as he stood up. The latter looked at those by his sides. "Let's show them what we can do!"

The rest group stood up, following the trooper to the front lines. At that point, the helmet wearing trooper crawled up to Lea.

"What should I do?"

Lea turned her head, smiling at the man. "Spread the word." She said. "Tell everyone to keep fighting, otherwise they'll have to answer to the Super Saiyan's mate."

The helmet trooper nodded, jugging off to find other loyalists among the ruins and spread the message.

Lea raised both her hands as she began to fire off rounds towards the other end of the district. She couldn't tell if she was hitting anything, but with all the smoke and Ki blasts flashing back and forth not many could.

She continued blindly firing Ki blasts, aiming at where it seemed the enemies' blasts originated from. Time past, and as she continued Lea noticed the increase of fire emanating from her side. The message was spreading. Good.

Minutes flew by as the intensity from the rebel side continued to grow and gain strength. As their fire power intensified, the enemies gradually decreased though if it was due to them taking cover or being hit by one of their blasts was uncertain.

Lea smiled, looks like they could manage just fine without Bardock or anyone else for that ma-

"Incoming!" Someone behind the female Saiyan yelled.

The latter spun around. The first thing she noticed was the swirling circle of blue and red spinning round and round above them. The second were the purple balls of energy the circle was spitting out, randomly sending them flying outward in every which way.

The Saiyan's eyes widened as a number of the next few blasts flew in her direction.

A few moments ago, along the coast...

"Open fire!"

Ki blasts rain forward like a volley of arrows, exploding as they made contact with the various cover used by Blizzard's loyalists.

A number of screams rang out, indicating that some of the blasts took some of them out.

Daizu cursed under his breath. The PTO troops along this way were stubbornly dug in and weren't giving an inch without a damn good fight.

In the last few hours the loyalists barely managed to take any ground, let alone hold their own. Each moment someone died, theirs or ours. It was quickly turning into a war of attrition.

On Daizu's orders, they sent a message back to command to send reinforcements. That was a little while ago and they haven't heard anything any reply other than the usual 'standby'.

Chances are, things are a bit more chaotic that they thought.

The red skinned humanoid ran across an revealed gap, firing three blasts as he hurried across. The enemy replied in kind, but Daizu was in cover well before their blast came screaming by.

The latter leaned against a nearby wall, catching his breath. The red skinned man could feel sweat pouring down his face.

He looked ahead of him, noticing a group of troopers huddled together. They were all struggling here, fighting nonstop. It was little wonder these men were starting to collapse.

Daizu walked over to the group, some turned their heads when the man approached.

"How we doing?" Daizu asked between breaths.

"Better than we look Commander." One replied with a half smile.

"We could all use a break though." Another sighed. "Damn fanatics. They just don't wanna quit."

A third let out a weak laugh. "I think they're just scared what the Saiyans might do to them if they surrendered."

"Yeah, just like we did before." The first trooper added. "Then the Commander here convinced us all to believe in the Super Saiyan, and here we are."

"That right." The second looked at Daizu. "Maybe if we had more soldiers like you, we wouldn't have submitted to the Cold Family's rule all those years ago."

"You got it all wrong." Daizu replied, shacking his head. "I was onl-"

A roar of cheers echoed over the sounds of battle, cutting Daizu off.

"That's not from us, is it?" The third trooper said.

"Don't think so." Daizu said before turning around. "I'll check it out, stay here."

Daizu paced back to the open gap he ran across before. He peaked over, scanning the enemy lines for the source of the cheering.

It took him a few moments to spot a large group of PTO troopers. They formed a half circle around two other soldiers.

The one on the left was a small, fat, green skinned alien with four eyes. The other was a large human looking man with orange hair and a big, stupid grin on his face.

The large man took a few steps forward, the little man followed close behind.

"Alright, fun time's over you dirty traitors!" Recoome shouted, his voice echoing across the land. "Which one of you losers what's to die first?"

"We'll take on anyone who thinks they can defeat the mighty Ginyu Force!" Guido added, shouting enthusiastically. "And it's too late to beg for mercy cause we're here to kill every last one of you!"

Recoome let out a hearty laugh. "That's right! You better say your prayers cause all you traitors are gonna die!"

Daizu pulled his head back, balling his hand up in a fist and slamming in into the wall behind him.

'Just what we needed!' He screamed mentally. 'The Ginyu Force, damn it all!'

He turned to his left, moving back towards the group he talked with before.

"The Ginyu Force." The third soldier said, grinning his teeth. "That's just perfect."

"Frieza's private army. Figures they showed up." The second said almost casually. "Well now that they're here, we don't have to worry about facing them later."

"You make it sound like you can defeat them." The third replied.

"Not I, but Captain Drake and Lord Blizzard can defeat them with ease." The second responded. "Oh, and this Super Saiyan you brought should be able to defeat them as well."

The first trooper struggled. "Well I guess we can relax and let those three handle this huh?" He glared at the loyalist. "And how exactly do you expect them to fight the Ginyus if they don't even know they're here?"

"We just have to tell them then." Daizu added once he drew near. "That, and try to stay alive until they get here."

"Of course Commander." The first trooper replied. "But it'll be hard to survive, especially since most of us have a power level of 4,000 give or take."

"We'll have to make it work." Daizu said. "Now get work back to HQ, before everything starts exploding around our heads.

Meanwhile, at the center front...

A energy wave flew forward, making contact with a enemy PTO trooper and killing him.

The Saiyan that launched the attack took a step forward. "Bunch of cowards." He spat. "Can't even hold their own against us."

Nappa crossed his arms, grumbling to himself. That Saiyan had a point. This was suppose to be the most heavily guarded front and yet they found nothing but a handful of weaklings and cowards running from their overwhelming might.

Normally, this would be seen as a compliment to the Saiyans might. However, the Arcosian Blizzard seen it differently.

He thought the enemy was setting up a trap and asked King Vegeta to send a vanguard of about 50 Saiyans ahead of the main army to find out what the enemy was up to.

After several encounter almost exactly like this last one, the Saiyan commander was beginning to think the Arcosian was onto something.

Sure these people were running, but it wasn't out of fear. Before the vanguard would engage, the PTO troopers would be moving about in an organized manner all the while shouting that they had to pull back.

Nappa set word back to his king after witnessing a few of those moments, though this didn't prove the Arcosian's theory per say but it made it seem all the more likely that they were walking into a trap.

'And as much as I hate to admit it.' The Saiyan thought. 'That Blizzard does know what he's doing, but that don't mean I like the guy.'

A chill ran down Nappa's back. He was still getting used to detecting power levels without a Scouter, much less feeling them. It did come in handy though.

'This one makes my stomach turn.' Nappa lowered his hands, looking towards the direction of the incoming power source. It was coming directly ahead. 'This is bad, whatever it is.'

"Commander Nappa!" A Saiyan ran up to the latter. "The Scouters are picking up a high power level approaching us up ahead!"

This confirmed what Nappa already knew. Someone was finally attacking them head on, and it was someone extremely powerful.

Nappa frowned. "Everyone, get ready!"

As his men prepared for combat against this unknown foe, Nappa thought it best to report this while he still had a chance. After all, scouting ahead and sending word on what they found was the very reason why they were out here.

The commander moved one finger to his ear, pressing the button on his Scouter and opening the comm channel.

"This is Commander Nappa, does anyone read me?"

"This is Central Command, we read you Commander Nappa."

Nappa let out a sigh. Central Command AKA the coup forces still aboard Frieza's ship directing all this. Not the people he wished to talk to, but good enough.

"My unit is about to make contact with an enemy with a high power level. I was hoping to connect with King Vegeta, but it looks like you'll have to send the message for me."

"Affirmative. I'll send the message along as soon as possible." The voice on the other end paused before adding. "Do you require additional forces to help defeat the incoming enemy?"

Nappa smirked. "I wouldn't bother. My troops and I should be able to handle it."

"Understood, good luck commander. Central Command out."

Nappa lowered his finger. "Luck? Ha, like we Saiyans needed that."

A few moments past before the being they detected arrived before Nappa and his men, landing on the ground with a slight tack. Imminently afterward, a number of them began to feel fear at the man now standing before them as they instantly recognized who he was.

The purple horned man smiled, scanning the faces of each and every Saiyan within eyesight.

"You should feel honored!" The leader of the Ginyu force said with a laugh. "You Saiyans get a chance to fight I, the most powerful soldier under Lord Frieza's direct command, Captain Ginyu!"

He brought up his right leg, crossed his left arm across his upper chest and raised his right arm straight up as he shouted the last bit.

Captain Ginyu settled back into a normal position before continuing. "This is a once in a life time opportunity, I hope you're up for the challenge?" He placed his fists on his hips and let out a hearty laugh.

Nappa felt a drop of sweat pore down his face. "Maybe I should've asked for those reinforcements." He muttered.

At Frieza's ship...

Aboard the captured Arcosian vessel, the bridge buzzed with noise as technical staff and other loyalists shouted orders and messages that needed to be relayed while maintaining the real-time holographic display in the middle of the room with up to date information.

The various soldiers spoke allowed back and forth, providing a tactical idea of what was happening on the front lines.

"Relay this message to King Vegeta: The vanguard unit is currently engaged with a enemy of high fighting power."

"We have confirmed reports of enemy reinforcements showing up on the East and West fronts."

"How many?"

"Unknown. Wait...Sounds like 2 on each front."

"Only 2? Are you sure?"

"Affirmative. They seem to be elite troops."

"What unit are they from?"

"One moment..." A drop of sweat rolled down the trooper's face. "Sir...It's the Ginyu Force! The Ginyu Force is here!"

The troopers grew silent. They all heard of the Ginyu Force, there wasn't a member of the Planet Trade, former or otherwise, that didn't know about Frieza's private army.

Each member was an elite among elites, well except for their newest addition. With power levels of 50,000 and up, they were among the best soldiers Frieza had at his disposal.

Blizzard closed his eyes. "So they managed to get a distress call through before we cut off their communications." The Arcosian let out a sigh. "This is quite bothersome at this point in time, but we'd have to fight them eventually."

He reopened his eyes, looking to the nearest trooper on his right. "Contact Captain Drake, send him to one of the fronts."

"Sir, we sent reinforcements to the east not too long ago." Another trooper cut in. "That was before we received reports about the Ginyus."

"Very well, send Drake to the east then." Blizzard replied. "We cannot afford to lose those units."

"And who should we send to assist the west my lord?"

Blizzard rested his head on his hand. "Normally, I would handle it myself but someone needs to command our forces." He tapped his finger against his cheek. "Has Riddic returned yet?"

"No my lord. He's still out suppressing the Arcosians hassling our forces."

"Very well, send a message. Tell him to drop what he's doing and head to the west. Maintaining our defensive line there takes higher priority."

"Understood." The trooper raised one hand to his Scouter, imminently conveying Blizzard's message.

As he did, a Saiyan entered the bridge. The latter approached Blizzard, frowning at the Arcosian.

"I regret to inform you that Bardock is out of commission and currently in a healing pod." The Saiyan reported with some spite.

Blizzard eyed the Saiyan. "What happened?"

"He suddenly collapsed, screaming and bleeding from his nostrils. We have no idea what's wrong with him."

The Arcosian looked forward. "Very well, thank you for delivering this information to me in person. You're dismissed."

The Saiyan nodded, turned, and left the bridge.

Blizzard began tapping his finger once more. 'The situation looks grim, but still salvageable.' He smiled. 'Looks like it's time to use that little one.'

He sat straight up, looking at one of the troopers before him. "Contact Prince Vegeta. Tell him to lead one of our reserve forces to the west."

Blizzard smiled. "I'm sure he's anxious to prove himself in battle."

At the west front...

"Incoming!"

Purple energy blasts flew everywhere, impacting in random locations all across the ruin battlefield.

Lea ran, doing her best to outrun the blasts currently rushing towards her. The purple blasts exploded all around her, the shock waves throwing her off balance as she stumbled along the floor.

The female Saiyan rolled, dodging another blast. She rushed to her feet, eyes widening at the incoming Ki blast closing in on her.

She bent backwards, narrowly avoiding the purple ball.

Lea leaned back up, her eyes focusing on the source of all these energy blasts: a spiraling circle of blue and red spinning round and round in the sky.

She clenched her fists. "You jerk! Aimlessly throwing around all these attacks!" She threw her hand forward, firing an energy wave towards the circle. The wave made contact moments later, but didn't seem to affect the circle in any way.

Lea showed her teeth, furious. She was about to give it another try when the circle seemed to slow down. It split in two, one red one blue.

The two lights dissipated, revealing two beings in their stead.

One was tall and blue with red pupiless eyes. The other short and red with long white hair. Both wore matching PTO uniforms, each with a particular symbol on the upper left chest plate.

"Well I think that's enough for the opening introduction don't you think Jeice?" The tall blue one said with a smirk.

"I think so Burter," Jeice replied with his own smirk. "Even got the crowd riled up."

The two glanced at Lea, chuckling.

"Now that we cleared the some of the weaklings out, how about we take our time with the one's left standing?"

"Grand idea mate, let's do it!"

The two lowered themselves to the ground, facing off against the female Saiyan.

"You better say your goodbyes girly, cause you're about to die by the hands of the Ginyu Force!" Jeice almost shouted.

"That's right." Burter added with a chuckle. "Consider it on honor to die by the hands of two members of the most illustrious fighting force in the universe!"

"I don't care who you are!" Lea shouted. "I'm going to teach you some manners!"

The two Ginyu Force members began to laugh.

"By all means, Saiyan!"

"I'd like to see you try girly!"

Lea rushed forward at the two, she threw a fist towards Jeice while sending a high aimed kick at Burter's face.

The two blocked the attack with ease, smirking.

Lea flew back, firing several energy blasts at the two Ginyus. They held their ground, letting every blast hit their mark. The female Saiyan stopped her barrage after a few minutes, allowing the smoke to clear.

Her eyes widened as she saw her two opponents emerge relevantly unscathed.

"Was that the best you got? If so, you're in a world of hurt." Burter teased.

"What did you expect from a Saiyan?" Jeice let out a laugh. "All talk and no bark, the lot of em!" He moved one hand to his chest, brushing off some dust. "I mean, all she managed to do was get dust all over us."

"Yeah, probably got in your hair too." Burter chuckled.

"Wait for real?" Jeice turned his head towards his partner, quickly patting off the top of his head. "Tell me, did I get it off?"

Burter looked down at his partner. "Uh, I was kidding Jeice."

"Man, I hope I got it out." Jeice turned around, continuing to pat his hair. "You know how long it takes for me to wash my hair mate. I don't want to go through that again today."

Burter grunted. "Did you not hear me?"

"Hear this asshole!"

A red energy wave rushed towards the two, exploding once it made impact.

Lea raised her eyebrows in surprise, she turned around and gasped as she found the source of the last attack.

Flying overhead was the same red skinned ugly looking trooper Lea talked some sense into earlier.

The trooper yelled, firing a volley of energy waves at Burter and Jeice.

Before Lea could yell at the man, telling him how stupid it was to take on those two, she felt a hand on her shoulder.

The female Saiyan turned her head, looking into the smiling face of the blue skinned trooper she meet earlier.

"Run." The blue humanoid calmly said. "We'll buy you some time. Escape while you can."

"You guys!" She turned her body towards the latter. "You know you'll die right?"

"Yeah, but we all figured we die at some point. What's the difference if it's now or ten years down the road?" The humanoid smile deepen. "At least this way, it'll be my own choice and not some cold blooded monster ordering me to do it."

He stepped forward, passing Lea.

"Besides, we owe you for inspiring us earlier. Our job is to by as much time as possible." He turned his head back, smiling at the Saiyan female. "No matter the cost. Now go on."

Lea clenched her fists, closing her eyes as she grinned her teeth. These two were idiots, given their lives for her. What about her was worth such a sacrifice? It didn't make sense.

"I'm not going to say it again." The blue skinned man yelled, snapping Lea out of thought. "Get going before it's too late!"

Lea looked the man directly in the eyes.

She wasn't driven by pride like most Saiyans, she accepted running to live another day.

It was needless sacrifice that drove her mad, and given how many Saiyans couldn't care less what happened to anyone lead her to hate most of her race.

But there was at least one that cared if she lived, and doubt he would live with himself if she died here. Especially after their promise.

"Your sacrifice won't be in vain." She said, hating herself for running in this situation.

The blue humanoid smiled, nodding at her before turning around. "Nice knowing you Saiyan, for however brief it was." He chuckled. "I never though I'd say those words."

"Most people don't." Lea replied with a smile. "Give'em hell." She turned around, running off into the ruin buildings.

She made it to into cover and glanced over her shoulder. The volley from the red skinned trooper continued, though that could change at anytime.

Lea cursed. Every fiber in her body urged her to go back but she couldn't, not without spitting on those two's pride.

She turned her head back around, just in time to catch the sudden movement of something large blocking her path.

She looked up, gasping at the man standing in her way.

Burter placed his hands on his hips, smirking at the Saiyan. "I'm not called the fastest warrior in the universe for nothing, little girl."

Meanwhile, at the east front...

Recoome flipped over a broken wall, landing in one of his unique poses. "Now get ready!" He straightened up. "Cause all of you are gonna die!"

The large brute jumped up, flying up above the battlefield. He pulled his hands back, one under the other, as red Ki charged in between them.

"Recooooome!" The Ginyu force member shouted. "Renegade Bomber!"

He threw his hands forward, causing the red energy to split in two. The balls hovered in front of his hands, becoming a focus point for Recoome's attack. The brute threw his hands one after another in fast succession, causing several small energy waves to spring forward from the red Ki balls and towards the ground before him.

The waves decimated all that them came into contact with, causing small craters to from where they impacted on the surface.

Recoome continued his attack until every few feet of ground within eyesight was filled with craters.

The elite soldier placed his fists on his hips, letting out a laugh. "How'd you like that? Dirty traitors!"

He looked down, noticing movement in several area below. Survivors no doubt. Recoome smiled, pleased that he could have some more fun.

Daizu flipped over a large rock that fallen on him during that last attack. He stood up, looking at the devastation Recoome had caused.

"Is everyone alright?" The red skinned humanoid turned around. "If you're alive, respond!"

Daizu's call was answered by the sound of overturning rocks and the replies of several loyalists.

Daizu let out a sigh. Good, he wasn't the only one to survive that last round.

"Well, well, well!" Recoome called out. "More of you alive than I thought."

He slowly lowered himself to the ground, landing before Daizu. The Ginyu force member smiled at the horned man, moving one hand up to his Scouter.

Recoome activated the device, allowing it to read his opponents power level.

"You're a tough one aren't you?" He said with a smile. "Power level 20,550. Shame you had to turn traitor, someone like you would've gone far in Lord Frieza's army."

"You think I would loyally serve a madman like Frieza who'd willingly kill his own men to get what he wants?" Daizu smirked. "Besides, it's hard to go far in an army when it's commander is deceased."

Recoome frowned for a brief moment before smiling at the latter once more.

"Haha, good one. You know as well as I that Lord Frieza's the most powerful being in the universe. Ain't no way he'd be done in by a bunch of traitors like you."

"You're right, Frieza couldn't be defeated by the likes of us." Daizu smiled. "What if I were to tell you he was defeated by a Super Saiyan?"

Recoome laughed in response. "Yeah right! Super Saiyans are just a dumb legend the Saiyans made up so everyone would be afraid of 'em."

He tilted his head back, smirking at Daizu. "No way some made up warrior could defeat Lord Frieza!"

"Don't be so quick to assume."

Recoome frowned. "OK traitor. Joke's over. Not that it was a funny one to begin with, but now you're starting to piss me off!"

The brute smiled as he began to crack his fists. "Now why don't we stop all this kidding around and get down to business?"

The brute chuckled. "And now!" He brought his hands up once again, this time balled up in fists.

Recoome moved his hands above his head, bringing them together like he was clapping above his head. "Feel the power!"

He moved his right arm to his side, balling it up in a fist, as he moved his left hand down to his chest. "OF!"

The elite soldier leaned forward, standing on one leg as he positioned the rest of his body like an arrow. "RECOOOOOOMMME!"

Daizu let out a sigh, bringing one hand up to the side of his head. "Why do I always fight the one's that aggravate me?"

Recoome straightened himself, smiling at his opponent. "Even though you're a dirty traitor, I'll let you have the first move. Fair's fair after all."

The red skinned man spat to one side. "How thoughtful." He brought his hands up, pointing them towards Recoome.

Daizu had one chance, and he knew it. Better to go all out from the start, and what better way then with his ultimate attack?

Red energy charged between his hands, growing wider and larger until it expanded to twice the size of his hands.

"GEYSER CANNON!"

The energy charging between Daizu's hands exploded outward, filling up a massive amount of space. It eradicated all the debris in its path, along with a good portion of the ground as it rushed towards Recoome.

The latter stood there, smiling as he placed his hands on his waist. Daizu's ultimate attack consumed the elite soldier, seemingly erasing all traces of the man.

Much to the disappointment of many, when the dust settled Recoome remained standing. Aside from some damage to his battle armor, along with some bleeding cuts along his face, the brute was rather unscathed.

Blizzard's loyalist along with the other traitors gasped in horror, some shouting for Daizu to run while others stating how strong the Ginyu member was.

The PTO soldiers on the other hand let out a ground shaking cheer. Knowing that the traitors would soon be put to rest.

"Nice one!" Recoome let out a laugh. "If you're power level was a bit higher that might've actually hurt me! Too bad for you though."

Daizu dropped his arms, breathing heavily. 'Damn it, I knew he was tough but I thought that attack would've done some more damage.' He thought. 'Guess this is it, but at least gave it my all.'

Recoome smirked as he slowly walked towards the exhausted man.

"Now then, which one of my moves should I finish you off with?"

"Fine then!" Daizu struggled as he held his arms out to his sides. "Finish me! Come on!"

Recoome chuckled as he continued forward.

"What are you waiting for?" Daizu screamed between breaths. "DO IT!"

The Ginyu force member stopped, laughing in response to the latter. "Alright then, you'd asked for it!"

At that moment, Recoome's scouter beeped, drawing his attention towards the sky.

Daizu looked at the man for a few moments before turning his head back towards the sky.

There were three beings flying towards them. As they grew closer, Daizu recognized two of them.

Roy, Paragus, and a third loyalist landed around Daizu. The forward two gazing at Recoome as the latter one moved towards Daizu.

"Are you alright Daizu?" The loyalist asked.

"I'm fine." The red humanoid let out a breath. "Just winded is all."

"Stand back." Paragus said, turning his head to Daizu. "We'll handle it from here."

Recoome and Roy stared at one another in silence for a few more moments.

"Oh. Isn't this something?" Recoome finally said, breaking the silence. "A Saiyan with a power of 30,050."

Roy smirked. "Oh you'll find that I'm full of surprises."

Recoome let out a laugh. "That's funny. You know I never meet a Saiyan with a sense of humor before."

"That right?" Roy looked over his shoulder. "Paragus, get everyone out of here. I'll deal with this blockhead."

Paragus nodded his head in response. "Understood. I'll have the others meet up with the rest of our men."

"Sounds good." Roy turned his head back as Paragus flew off towards the surviving loyalists.

"So I heard plenty about you Ginyu goons. That you guys are some big shots that work directly under Frieza's thumb, man how can you stand that?"

Recoome chuckled, he crossed his arms. "That's right, we're the best there is. Plus we get to do whatever we want, long as Lord Frieza's alright with it course."

"Ah, rank with privilege. That must be nice." Roy crossed his hands behind his head. "Still, I don't think I could do it. I mean, being at the beck and call of that freak. Euh, no thank you."

The Ginyu member let out a short laugh. "Yeah, like you could even become a Ginyu Force member in the first place!"

"Oh and why not?" Roy lowered his hands. "After all, I did kill Zarbon and I'm about to kill you."

"That so?" Recoome smirked. "You know, I like you for a Saiyan."

Roy smiled. "And I like you, for a big dumb brute who doesn't seem to know his ass from his elbow."

"Ouh." Recoome chuckled. "You really are a funny guy."

"So I've been told." Roy cracked his neck. He settled into a fighting stance as he grinned his teeth in a smile. "Enough with the pleasantries. Let's get down to it."

"That's our cue to go." The loyalist standing by Daizu said. The latter took a step forward.

"You go on, I'll stay here and see this through to the end." Daizu waited a few moments before adding. "That's an order."

The loyalist hesitated for a few moments before nodding in acknowledgement. He flew off in the same direction Paragus left in.

Daizu quick stepped to Roy's side. "I'll give you a hand." He said once he reached it.

"Sure you're up for it?" Roy replied without turning his gaze. "You used a lot of energy, even before this fight."

"I can keep everyone else from interfering." Daizu eyed the four-eyed alien cowering off to the side. "That, and I think I can handle that other Ginyu over there."

"Fine, just don't die." Roy smiled. "You're one of us after all."

Daizu closed his eyes, smiling. "I know," He reopened his eyes before moving towards the cowering Guido. "I won't."

Recoome and Roy waited until Daizu moved out of their way before either said a word.

"Alright Saiyan." Recoome raised his hands to one side. "Get ready, for this!" He clapped both his hands, half turning to one side. "Oh yeah!"

Roy closed his eyes, letting out an awkward laugh. "This guy's a weird one huh?"

Recoome raised his hands up, balling them up in fists before placing them one after the other in front of his forehead.

"ERASER GUN!"

He threw his arms back as he threw his face forward. A purple energy wave shot out of Recoome's mouth, rushing towards his opponent at an alarming rate.

Roy's eyes widened. With little time to react, he jumped up narrowly avoiding Recoome's attack. The Eraser Gun continued forward until it made contact with a far off building, exploding with the force of a small nuke.

"Damn." Roy said, watching the devastation. "Is that guy nuts? If that hit me at this range he would've blown up too."

At that moment, the Saiyan felt a power coming from behind him. He turned his head, looking at a smirking Recoome.

"Recoooooome Boom!"

The Ginyu force member smashed his elbow into the back of Roy's skull, sending the latter crashing into the ground.

Recoome held his position in the air, chuckling. "What's wrong Saiyan? You didn't go and die on me did you?" He said with smirked.

Moments passed without a reply from the Saiyan. Recoome continued to hover above the location Roy crashed, chuckling to himself as he eagerly awaited any signs of the latter.

A few more moments passed. Recoome began to slowly drift towards the ground. "Ah. Did you really go and die? Man that sucks, I didn't get a chance to use all my best moves."

All of a sudden, a massive energy pillar irrupted out of the rubble Roy was buried underneath. Recoome quickly moved out of the pillar's path.

"Yeah? We'll I haven't used all of mine either!" Roy's voice seemed to originate from the energy pillar.

A shadow formed in the energy pillar, in the next moment, Roy rushed out of it. He closed in on Recoome, punching the brute in the face. The Saiyan proceeded to unleashing a volley of melee attacks on the Ginyu Force member.

Recoome continued to take each blow the Saiyan threw at him with little resistance. This lasted for several minutes until Recoome caught one of Roy's left hooks.

The brute let out a laugh. "Glad you're back Saiyan!" He pulled Roy forward, smashing his large forehead against the Saiyan's. As Roy recoiled from the last blow, Recoome punched the latter in the face.

Roy's head spun back, he grinned his teeth before turning back around launching a Ki blast almost point-blank into Recoome's face.

The Ginyu Force member fell backward, slowly falling to the ground.

"Eat that bastard!" Roy yelled, bringing his hand up to his chest and balling it up in a fist. "Who the hell headbutts people anyway?"

Inches from the ground, Recoome stopped his body from falling. He slowly hovered back up towards Roy, coughing thanks to the smoke that currently covered his face.

"That was low. Even for a Saiyan." Recoome's was viable now. His orange hair was mostly blown off, small trails of blood trickled down the sides of his face. "You are ruthless. Too bad you went and turned traitor, Lord Frieza would've loved someone like you."

Roy let out a laugh. "Yeah, like I'd wanna be one of his favorite slaves." He tilted his head back, smirking at his opponent. "Normally I don't use such tactics but when my opponent starts pissing me off, well let's say I tend to use more aggressive moves."

"Oh is that so?" Recoome said with a laugh. "Well I'm about to make you a whole lot more angrier!"

The Ginyu Force member quickly descended to the ground, landing with a loud thud.

He spread his arms out to his sides. "I'm gonna blow all you losers away!"

Recoome crouched down, crossing his arms over his chest and up to his shoulders. Sparks of energy began to pulse around his body moments afterwards.

"RECCOOOOOMME!" He yelled.

Seconds passed as the blueish sparks danced around his body at a much faster rate. All of a sudden, Recoome threw his arms out above his head, with it a large blue energy ball expanded out of his body and started to expand at an alarming rate.

"ULTRA FIGHTING BOMBER!"

Meanwhile...

"I'm not called the fastest warrior in the universe for nothing, little girl." Burter placed his hands on his hips, smirking at the Saiyan.

Lea took a half step back, her mind racing. How did he escape? Sure those blasts would've done little to affect such a powerful being but they should've delayed him, for a few minutes at the very least.

"You're wondering how I escaped that attack aren't you?" The Ginyu said, reading his opponent's mind. "Before those blasts hit, I managed to dash away with seconds to spare." Burter let out a chuckle. "Like I said, I am the fastest warrior in the universe. Avoiding such a weak attack is child's play. "

Before Lea could offer a reply, Burter disappeared into thin air. By the time the forward noticed, the latter reappeared behind her. "Behind you." He whispered.

Lea started to turn around, Burter vanished once more and reappeared off the forward's side. In an instant, the elite soldier punched the female Saiyan three times in the gut followed with a kick to the side.

Lea was sent flying, feeling immense pain and little idea what happened. She looked at Burter, silently cursing as she continued sailing uncontrollably through the ruin area.

Several moments passed before Lea unexpectedly stopped. A firm hand wrapped around her body, one she felt many times before.

"Lea!" Riddic shouted in astonishment.

"Hey..." Lea struggled to say as she looked up at her lover. "Took you long enough..."

"Lea," Riddic rubbed the side of his mate's face. "You dummy, I taught you how to sense power levels so you'd avoid people like this guy."

"Yeah, well...What sort of Saiyan would...I be if I just...ran from every fight?" Her eye twitched as pain flooded through her body. "Besides, it's not like I didn't try."

Riddic smiled. "Don't worry. I'll handle things from here." He turned around, took a few steps and gently set Lea down. "Rest for now. You've earned it."

Lea let out a weak laugh. "Yeah...A break sounds nice..." She tilted her head to one side, closing her eyes. "Don't take too long...It's rude to...to keep a girl waiting, you know?"

Riddic placed his hand on the top of his mate's head, gently rubbing her long black hair as she slipped into unconsciousness.

He sat up, half turning towards Burter. The latter was in shock. Amazed and wondering how Riddic arrived so suddenly without noticing a trace of his approach.

In the next second, Riddic vanished, surprising Burter even further. "Wha-? Where did-?"

The silver-haired Saiyan reappeared beside the Ginyu Force member. He quickly grasped the latter's head before dashing forward at a speed that Burter never knew existed.

The two crashed through ruin building after building like they were made of paper mache.

Before Burter knew it, the two where back in the clearing he and his partner Jeice first engaged Lea.

Riddic threw Burter forward, smashing the back of his head into the ground. The latter's eyes twitched in shock and fear. "What the hell are yo-"

"Shut up." Riddic said bluntly. "Otherwise I'll knock you out."

Burter cringed. He, nor anyone else in the Ginyu Force for that matter, ever fought someone quite like this before.

Riddic picked his head up. A moment after, the body of an ugly red skinned alien came crashing into the ground. The Saiyan didn't need to look twice to know that the man was dead.

The Saiyan caught a flash of red light followed by the dying screams of someone. He looked towards the source, catching the remains of some unfortunate soul being erased by a red colored energy wave.

The wave dissipated, revealing the one who launched the attack.

Jeice let out a laugh. "Now you learn what it means to mess with the mighty Ginyu Force!" He continued to laugh. "By now Burter caught up with that female Saiyan you mates tried to help escape, so you're sacrifice is nothin' but a waste of time!"

The small red humanoid continued to laugh until he tilted his head down, finally noticing Riddic pinning Burter on the ground.

"Oi, Burter!" Jeice face perfectly portrayed the shock he currently felt. "What happened to you?"

"Jeice careful!" Burter managed to say despite Riddic's hand covering his face. "This guy's not normal!"

Riddic stared at the white haired humanoid, tracking the latter as he quickly hovered back to earth. The two held each other's gaze for a few silent moments before either said a word.

"I don't know who you are," Jeice started. "But no one messes with the Ginyu Force and gets away with it."

"And no one messes with my mate and gets away with it." Riddic replied almost immediately. "If you two expect to walk away after that, well..." He smiled almost sinister like. "Get ready to be disappointed."

Jeice blinked a few times. Normally he'd laugh at such a statement, but this man was given off an odd vibe. One he never felt before. It sent chills down his spine. The elite soldier didn't like it, not one bit.

In an effort to calm his nerves, Jeice reached for his Scouter. He then activated the device, hoping that it would ease his being if this silver-haired man was nothing but talk.

"Power level..." The red skinned humanoid's eyes widened. "80,000?!"

Burter gasped in shock. There was no way this could be accurate! Jeice pressed the button once more, restarting the Scouter's scan function. Again, 80,000.

Jeice ripped the Scouter from the side of his face and crushed it in his hands. "There's no way you have a power of 80,000!" He looked at Riddic, grinning his teeth angrily.

Riddic released his grasp on Burter's face before standing up. "Come and find out."

The red skinned man felt his anger rise. Blindly, he rushed at Riddic unleashing a volley of punches and kicks, all of which the latter dodged with little effort. Burter rolled to his feet, hesitating for a moment before rushing forward and joining his partner in assaulting the silver-haired Saiyan.

Despite the added effort, Riddic still easily dodged every blow sent his way and all while holding his current place on the ground.

The two Ginyus continued there assault with little gain, neither believing the man before them was stronger then they were. After a few minutes, Burter and Jeice jumped backwards in different directions, landing at their opponent's flanks.

"That's it! You've asked for it." Jeice yelled. "Time to show you what the Ginyu Force is really made of!"

He half crouched down before almost spring boarding his body off in the other direction. The humanoid leaned on his left leg, spreading his right out as his brought his left arm in and extended his right pasted his head.

"Introducing the Ginyu Force's Red Magma: Jeice!"

"Yeah!" Burter added before flipping around.

"I am your worst nightmare!" He spun his arms around like a whirlwind as he said the last bit. He twisted his body around, spreading his feet out as he settled into another of his unique posses. "The Blue Hurricane: Burter!"

"What is this, dance class?" Riddic said unamused.

Jeice turned his body towards his right, bringing both his left leg and arm up. A red energy ball the size of a beach ball formed in the palm of his hand.

"Crusher Ball!" He yelled before smacking it towards the silver-haired Saiyan.

Burter held up his left hand. "Haaaa!" He roared before launching two large blue energy balls towards Riddic.

The energy attacks rushed towards him. At the last moment, Riddic jumped up causing the attacks to collide with one another in a massive explosion.

Burter and Jeice rushed the Saiyan while he was airborne, but neither expected what would happen next.

Once the two were within striking distance, Riddic brought his right elbow up and smashed it into Jeice's chest. At the same time, the Saiyan brought his left leg up and kicked Burter's chest with such force that the black plating of his armor exploded into pieces.

The latter coughed up purple blood before sliding off the tip of Riddic's boot and plummeted to the ground.

Jeice on the other hand stayed afloat. He hovered backwards, gashing as he moved his hands to his chest.

"You-!" Was all he managed to say before coughing up blood. The Ginyu Force member felt weak. His mind screaming endless 'hows' and 'whys'. Still not fully excepting this man was better.

Jeice shot his opponent a frighting look, but it faded as quickly as it came once Riddic started to raise his hand towards the humanoid.

Jeice tried to shout, to curse or anything for that matter, but his voice left him. The only sounds coming out his throat were gags, heavy breathing, and something that sounded like a dry whistle.

Riddic fully extended his hand out towards the voiceless Jeice. Staring unemotionally as the latter continued to struggle in vain.

"Told you you'd be disappointed." Riddic said before releasing a energy wave, completely erasing any trace of the Red Magma.

Once the deed was done, the silver-haired Saiyan lowered his hand then glanced at Burter. The latter was barely given off any energy, meaning that he was closing in on death. There was no need to do anything further.

He looked off towards the direction of Frieza's spaceship. The Saiyan could feel a number of approaching beings. Reinforcements sent by Blizzard no doubt.

Riddic let out a sigh, he turned his head back around. "Better drop Lea somewhere safe before I move on." He moved one hand to the back of his head before scratching it. "I swear, after all this we need to talk about that stubbornness of her's."

Minutes earlier...

Daizu causally walked towards Guldo, the latter slowly backed away.

"Wa-wait! Can't we talk about this?!" He said panicking. "You look like a reasonable guy so I'm sure we can-"

An energy blast rushed passed Guldo's head, exploding somewhere off in the distance.

"Shut that fat mouth of yours and fight me." Daizu said, he threw his right arm to his side. A moment after, purplish energy wrapped around in, forming an energy sword. "Thanks to that idiot friend of yours, I'm rather annoyed at the moment."

He moved the energy sword up, holding it a few dozen inches away from his face. "I'd really appreciate it if you die without pissing me off any further."

Guldo took another half step back. "Yo-you don't wanna kill me! I'm just a newbie to the Ginyu Force!" He let out a nervous laugh. "Besides, my race gives off a terrible odor when we die. Yeah, so bad you won't be able to smell anything else for a whole month!"

A vain popped out of Daizu's forehead. "Just shuttup already!" He lunged forward, energy blade at the ready.

Guldo panicked for a moment before taking a deep breath. He threw his arms forward as he closed two of his four eyes. 'Time Freeze!'

Now, everyone who knew Guldo known that while he was an elite by the PTO's standards, the four eyed man was only a lower classed elite. Normally, he couldn't hold a candle to Zarbon and Dodoria, much less meet the Ginyu Force's standards.

However, this fat short green alien had a special ability. The ability to freeze time, for as long as he could hold his breath anyway. Usually that was no longer than 10 seconds, but that was more than enough to get out of any dangerous situation.

Guldo wasn't ashamed to admit the only reason why he was on the Ginyu Force was thanks to this power. That, and his other telekinetic powers.

He opened his eyes, almost gasping in shock at how close the red skinned traitor was to his face. 'That was too close!' He thought before turning around and running off in a hurry. 'Gotta hide somewhere till I can think of a plan!'

After a few more steps, Guldo ducked under a half broken wall. 'Ah wait, that guy had a Scouter!' He suddenly realized. With that device, no matter where the four eyed man hid that red humanoid could find him! Guldo was about to move once more before turning blue in the face.

'Damn, and I can't hold my breath any longer!' He exhaled, time began to turn once again.

Daizu suddenly stopped, Guldo had vanished without a trace. His first instinct was to activate his Scouter to find the little fat man, but Daizu knew he had to grow out of using such a handicap. Though he hadn't mastered it quite yet, the horned man knew how to detect power levels thanks to his new friends.

Daizu closed his eyes, remembering what he was taught about detecting energy. First, clear his mind. Second, use all your senses at once. That, with enough concentration, should allow you to feel the Ki emanating off every living beings body.

It took a few moments before the elite could feel anything, much faster than the first time he tired. Daizu felt the familiar power of Roy, the overwhelming power he assumed belonged to Recoome, and several dozen lesser powers scattered all around. One in particular was stronger than the rest, but not by a large amount.

Daizu opened his eyes, looking in the general direction of this power. "Got you!"

He launched an energy wave with his free hand, it raced towards the hiding Guldo. The latter popped his head over the broken wall. "Ah hell." He took another deep breath, freezing time once more.

The green four-eyed Ginyu Force member hop back on his feet, running as far as he could. 'This guy's relentless!' Guldo shouted mentally. 'I gotta think of some way to stall him!'

The fat alien ran a few more steps before something caught his eye. A few feet to his left were about 10 or so PTO troopers. Earlier, there where more gathered around when he and Recoome first showed up, but a number of them moved on down the line of defense.

Seeing as the Ginyu Force had arrived, they could afford to freely move units around to other parts of the line without worry of collapse. A logical move, but one that didn't favor cowards who hid behind others for cover.

Knowing he was almost at his limit, Guldo made a beeline for the group of troopers. He released his breath, time began to move once again.

Daizu watched as the energy wave he sent before exploded, noticing the power he detected at that location had moved off a fair distance away. He turned his head, eyes tracking a running Guldo as he headed towards a group of PTO troops.

"You guys deal with him!" The little man yelled as he pushed on through the group. The troopers looked at one another in confusion before turning their heads in the direction Guldo came from.

Half of them gasped in shock and fear as they saw Daizu rapidly flying towards them. The latter held his energy blade hand up and sliced into three of the troopers before landing firmly upon the ground. The horned man spun around, slicing into two more PTO troopers that stood far too close.

Dwindled down to half their original number, the troopers finally began to act.

Three of them fired energy waves at Daizu, the latter countered by cutting the waves with his energy blade. The other two managed to flank around their opponent, using the previous attack as a decoy, and charged Daizu from behind.

The latter sense the two approach, waited for the last moment then jumped above the two, causing the troopers to collide with each other.

As they staggered back, Daizu flipped end over end and landed behind the two. He quickly rushed forward, chopping these two's heads clean off.

The remaining three slowly backed up, they knew now that the enemy before them was far too powerful for them to deal with. Daizu didn't give these three a chance to regret their decisions as the forward quickly closed the gap between them, slicing into them with his sword hand.

Daizu turned around, glaring at the cowardly Guldo whom had taken position a top a broken piece of a support collum.

"If you think weaklings like those could stop me you have another thing coming!" The horned man yelled, moving his energy sword forward.

"They weren't meant to stop you!" Guldo laughed. "They were meant to stall you!"

He threw his hands above his head, folding them downward. The four-eyed man yelled, veins popped out of his fat head as his eyes stained, losing their pupils for a few moments.

Daizu raised his eyebrow, but before he could say anything he felt a strange bind of some sort form around his body. The red humanoid tried to take a step forward, but found that he couldn't. In fact, he couldn't move any part of his body.

The elite struggled but to no avail, for the harder he tried the tighter the bind seemed to get. He looked to his left, noticing a blue mist or something the covered the area. Daizu looked to his right, sure enough the same field was there as well.

Guldo let out a laugh. "How do you like that? I call this, my Mind Bind!" The green alien continued to laugh obnoxiously. "Not so tough when you can't swing that sword of yours huh?"

Daizu frowned, about to shout at the four eyed freak when something caught his attention. The forward smiled. "I wonder about that."

Guldo stopped laughing, he blinked a few times with two of his eyes. "What do you-" An explosion went off underneath the round alien, spring boarding him up in the air.

Free from Guldo's Mind Bind, Daizu flew up towards his airborne opponent. The latter tumbled end over end, wondering what the hell just happened. Between flips, Guldo saw Daizu rapidly approaching.

Panicking, he knew his only hope was to stop time again. The Ginyu Force member opened his mouth, breathing in as much oxygen as he possibly could.

'Time Free-'

ZIINNGG!

Guldo's head came free of his shoulders as Daizu cleanly cut through with his energy blade. The latter threw his energy blade hand to his side, the energy wrapped around his arm faded a moment later. Daizu turned around, watching as Guldo's body plummeted to the ground.

The horned man smiled. "I thought you were busy evacuating our forces around this area?" He turned around, looking at the Saiyan known as Paragus.

"I made sure the word got out." The Saiyan replied. "Then decided to come back and see if you needed some assistance."

Daizu crossed his arms. "Oh? It wasn't cause you're Saiyan blood urged you to fight against these Ginyu Force members? I know how your kind operatives, never could pass on a good fight."

Paragus closed his eyes as he let out a chuckle. "I will admit the though of fighting Frieza's handpicked elite did cross my mind, but I know that as I am now it would've turned out to be nothing more than a one sided slaughter." He reopened his eyes. "Besides, I have too much to live for."

"Right." Daizu smirked. "Which is exactly why you came back into the thick of this mess."

"Well if I hadn't, who would've blasted the ground right from under Guldo's feet?" Paragus smirked. "Lets face it, if I didn't come back you'd probably be dead right now."

"What do you want? A thank yo-"

A bright blue light suddenly appeared off to the side, the two warriors turned their heads in it's direction. It originated around the same area Roy was fighting Recoome. The light expanded outward at an alarming rate, engulfing everything in its blue glow.

Paragus and Daizu turned their bodies towards the approaching light, it glow intensifying with each passing moment. They raised their guards, both to cover themselves from the blinding light and to defend against the all but confirmed attack.

Elsewhere...

Commander Nappa panted. The last few minutes had been the toughest experience in his life. It was a struggle to stand, let alone stay alive.

The esteemed Captain Ginyu had been giving him and his men a run for their money, slowly chipping away at their numbers despite being outnumbered 50 to 1.

Nappa looked to his left and right. There weren't very many Saiyans left standing. "It's just to four of us left." He said between breaths.

Damn it, they wouldn't be in this mess if he hadn't been stubborn and called for reinforcements. True, most Saiyans would rather die than ask for help but that changed when they knew their opponent was out of their liege.

That was the case with Ginyu, only it was too late until they realized who they were fighting. After these elite among elites arrived, any attempt the Saiyans made to call for assistance was meet with swift and brutal attacks.

"What's wrong?" Ginyu smirked. "Surly you guys aren't finished already? That was just a warm up!" He let out a laugh. "I though you Saiyans were tough! Come on, where all that bravado go? Aren't you always going on about how mighty the Saiyan race is? HA! Some warrior race you turned out to be!"

One of the remaining Saiyans took a half step forward. "You bastard-"

Nappa turned to the Saiyan whom just spoke. "Shut up! He's just trying to get you riled up!" He shouted between his heavy breathing.

It was funny, usually Nappa was the one loosing his cool in a situation like this. Maybe it was thanks to the fact that he was so exhausted he couldn't even feel fury anymore, that or he knew that no matter what they would die here, so the least they could do is try and keep their heads.

The commander looked at the unstoppable Ginyu, knowing that the next attack would be the last. That's what every Saiyan desired though, to die in combat. That final, fitting end for a proud warrior.

Commander Nappa stood up straight, smiling. He would be failing his king, but he would die by the hands of a powerful opponent. Before he could do anything foolish however, Riddic suddenly appeared before him.

Nappa, along with the other surviving Saiyans gasped at the Super Saiyan's arrival. (He's not in SSJ mode yet.)

"I heard you guys were fighting some powerful foe and came to see how you were doing." Riddic glanced over his shoulder. "Sorry I couldn't be here sooner, I was dealing with some other loose ends." He turned his head back around, locking his gaze with Captain Ginyu's.

"Your fight's with me now. Let the others go."

'This guy seems different.' Ginyu smirked before crossing his arms. "Fine I'll let them go."

He glanced passed Riddic, looking at the faces of the Saiyans he put through the ringer.

"It's your lucky day Saiyans. Out the kindness of my heart, I've decided to let you all live for the time being." He returned his gaze toward Riddic. "Now get lost before I change my mind."

The four Saiyans hesitated for a few moments. The three looked to their commander, the latter returning their looks before taking to the air.

Nappa knew he was no use here. The Super Saiyan would make quick work of Captain Ginyu, he was sure of it and if he wanted to be left alone who among them could argue?

The other survivors followed their commander's lead as they flew back towards the advancing Saiyan Army.

Ginyu and Riddic looked at each other for several long moments, the forward smiling while the latter held an unemotional look.

"Before we begin, let's get the formal introductions out the way." Ginyu uncrossed his arms. He twirled around, spreading his legs out as he brought one hand above his horned head and extended the other outward. "The leader of the Ginyu Force, the mighty Captain Ginyu!"

The latter held this pose for a few moments, waiting for his opponent to respond in kind. After a few more silent moments, Captain Ginyu frowned.

"And you?" He said with a hint of annoyance.

Riddic's eyes widened for a moment before he blinked a few times. "Oh sorry, I thought there was more." He chuckled. "Who me? Nobody really, just the Saiyan who defeated two of your men. What were their names? Oh yeah, Jeice and Burter."

"It that right?" Ginyu let out a laugh, straightening himself. "You defeated two members of the most illustrious fighting force in the universe?"

"Don't believe me?"

Captain Ginyu smirked. "No, I believe you. I can tell you're different than most warriors I've fought before." He chuckled. "Finally, a warrior that can challenge the depths of my power! Hahahaha!"

Riddic closed his eyes, shrugging his shoulders before replying to the captain. "I'm sure you'll find me a challenge to your power Ginyu." He reopened his eyes. "Oh, and I should mention this." He paused, waiting for Ginyu to give him his full attention. "I'm also the Saiyan who killed Frieza."

Captain Ginyu's eyes widened for a brief moment. He smirked at the Saiyan. "You had me going there for a moment." The purple humanoid chuckled. "There's no way a Saiyan of all things could defeat Lord Frieza."

Riddic smiled. "Want proof? Unfortunately I don't have his head or anything like that, but you can look at you're Scouter and read my power level if you want."

"No need. I can already tell you're holding back some of your power." Ginyu smiled. "It's a rare ability. One that I also posses."

"Really?" Riddic crossed his arms. "That's a surprise, usually Frieza's men are kept in the dark about such abilities."

"That's because none of them have lived through as many battles as I." Ginyu chuckled once more. "Its hard to learn new things if you're not around to discover them."

"All the more reason why were here now, to free ourselves from this endless cycle of death and slavery." Riddic held his hand out towards Captain Ginyu. "Why don't you join us? I can tell you're a loyal and devoted soldier. We can use someone like you on our side."

"Sorry, but I've sworn my services to Lord Frieza until the end if need be." Ginyu let out a laugh. "Besides, if I would turn so easily, I wouldn't be such a loyal and devoted soldier now would I?"

"That's a shame." Riddic closed his eyes. "That tyrant doesn't deserve such loyalty."

"Enough talk, let's get down to business!" Captain Ginyu settled into a fighting stance. "Show me what you got Saiyan!"

Riddic smiled before reopening his eyes. "Very well." He brought his arms to his sides. "I'll show you the same power I used to kill your master."

He roared, transforming into a Super Saiyan in a matter of seconds. Before he could respond to such a transformation, the Scouter upon Ginyu's face let out a loud beep before shorting out and exploding.

The captain's eyes widened, he took a few steps back. Ginyu had seen many different things in his lifetime, but never something quite like this.

"Wh-what is this?!" He almost yelled. "What are you?!"

"You wish to know?" Riddic bluntly replied. "I am what your master feared most."

Ginyu shook his head back and forth. "No. No you can't be!"

"But I am." Riddic smiled. He flashed his golden aura, screaming this next part to the heavens. "MY NAME IS RIDDIC, AND I AM A SUPER SAIYAN!"

Captain Ginyu staggered back in a panic. He was afraid, terrified even. A Super Saiyan, the legendary killing machine and one of the few things his lord and master fear in this existence. There was no way he could defeat such a foe, but...

Ginyu quieted down. 'But, I don't have to fight him.' He smiled, chuckling to himself for a few seconds before irrupting into uncontrollable laughter.

Riddic raised his eyebrow, believing his opponent had gone made.

"So this is a Super Saiyan." Ginyu said once he calmed down a bit. "How ah inspiring! Truly, you live up to the legend!" He chuckled. "And that make's it all the more perfect for me."

Ginyu threw his arms out to his sides, laughing even louder. "CHANGE NOW!"

And here ends this latest entry to Double S!

Before I get into any explanations, i wish to apologize for the late arrival of this bit.

Over the past 4 months I been busy taking care of my grandma while dealing with writers block for a time and focusing on another story that I've had a rush of inspiration for.

That said, I'll try not to have these entries this far in between from now on.

So many exciting bits in this entry! Many different match ups and such.

You'll probably notice the fight between Roy and Recoome being very similar to his fight with Vegeta, that's due to the fact that while I was writing that part I was rewatching that DBZ episode to refresh myself on how Recoome acts and fights. So you can say that imprinted on me.

Also, keeping the trend that no matter what universe/reality it is, Guldo is always doomed to have his head chopped off. ;)

As the fighting intensifies, the esteemed Ginyu Force joins and falls in the fighting. With only two members left standing, and with Ginyu using his secret technique, will the Planet Trade Organization on New Arcose hold the planet till reinforcements arrive? Or will Riddic and his rebellion succeed in taking back their freedom?

Stay tuned for these answers and more in the conclusion of Chapter 2 on the next entry of Dragon Ball Double S!
