Belle had asked me to drop of Adam's football jersey. I didn't mind since I was heading over to the football field anyway. Cinderella, as the cheer captain, was preparing for the football game tonight, as well, and wanted me to support her. Adam was going to be on the field throwing and catching the ball, Ella was going to be cheering him and his team on, and I was going to be on the bleachers watching my friends do what they loved.

Ella had promised me she wouldn't say anything to either Adam nor Belle about my...feelings, but I almost felt as if that was a lie. Ella wants me to go to the football game tonight, but I think that's only because she knows and-

"Ah!" I let out a scream, as I felt myself being violently pushed and ran into. Both my side and leg immediately hurt, I was on the ground, and Adam's jersey had left my hands.

As I tried to look for it, all I could hear was a male's voice, "Are you okay? I didn't see you there! I am so sorry! Here, let me help you." He reached for my hand, but because I wasn't focused on him, I didn't quite notice and he pulled me violently up by my arm, instead.

"Ow!" I screamed, again. It was him. It was Adam's teammate, the one who wore the leather boots, except now he had sports shoes and his football gear. He pulled me in close to him, and I could see his face better. His eyes were so close to mine that I could now see that they weren't grey, they were just really icy blue.

"Did I hurt you?" He looked me up and down, and I would've said something about the way he had pulled me up from the ground, or how he had ran into me with enough force to have knocked me down, or that because of him, I didn't know where Adam's jersey went flying to, but I could only stare. "I don't know if you knew this, but we are currently on the football field, while football practice is happening. I'm not saying it's your fault, but maybe you should've watched where you were walking. I was just practicing."

Although his tone and words were sounding condescending, he had a soft smile, dimples at both cheeks, and his hair was extremely dark, it looked almost as if he had dyed it to get it that color. He waved his right hand in front of my face, and I noticed I had been holding on to his left arm all this time. I snapped out of his trance.

"My foot..." I looked down at it, not only was it bruised, but there was so much pain, I almost couldn't feel it. I could stand with his help and by holding on to his arm, but putting weight on it was impossible.

"I don't think I can walk," I said, I felt my voice crack. He looked at me sympathetically, and then at his other teammate with whom he was apparently practicing with. I also looked at him because I didn't know what else to do.

His team mate was just standing there, staring at us. I didn't know who he was, but he looked concerned.

"Are you two okay?" He yelled at us and finally started to head our way.

"I think I hurt her-" Blue-eyed boy said.

"You did hurt me! I can't walk, my leg hurts when I try to move it!" I was trying really hard not to cry. I wasn't even sure why I was crying. Maybe because I was physically hurt, maybe because I felt surrounded by two jocks, or maybe because I had to deliver Adam's jersey, but i had now lost it. "Take me to the nurse's office, I can't go by myself, and this is your fault so you should help me!"

I heard him chuckle ever so slightly, but he said, "Okay, don't worry, I'll take care of you." He then, turned to the other boy and said his goodbyes.

He turned to me, gave me a small smile, and then, he lifted me into his arms- bridal style.

"What are you doing?!" I screamed, again. "Put me down!"

"You said you couldn't walk, so I'm carrying you."

"This isn't what I meant! I don't need you to carry me! Just give me your arm or something!" I tried wiggling out of the position I was in but he wouldn't budge.

"You scream a lot," he laughed. "You might want to be careful, you already lost your legs, you wouldn't want to lose your voice, too."
