Sup y'all. I don't own Twilight, just my OCs. Side note, really hope this makes sense; I am so tired I could pass out rn I am completely brain dead. Go easy on me maybe? Review and favorite or follow if you would like to. Again, reviews are appreciated!

I'm lying on my stomach watching Chicago PD when there's a knock on the door.

The scent of werewolves pleasantly hits my nose as I roll to my feet. I moved the coffee table against the wall earlier so I walk through the much too empty living room and open the door.

Sam, Embry, and a third I don't recognize stand before me.

"We're here to see a girl about a couch?" The third asks.

"All yours." I say with a laugh. I open the door for them and show them the atrocious green couch.

"Damn. You didn't tell us it was that ugly." Embry snorts.

"Smells as ugly as it looks. Like vomit and cigarettes." I answer. "All yours."

"I think it'll make a great addition to Paul's office at the shop."

"Where?" I choke.

Embry smacks the third over the head roughly.

"Paul works at the shop with us. Rachel is our receptionist." Sam explains.

"It's no life for my sister."

"Jacob then?" I ask, looking at the third.

He nods. Oh so he's the one who probably imprinted on my baby sister.

"Oh you're going to love this then."

"Huh?" Jacob asks.

"Paul has a 500,000 dollar inheritance from my father. He never claimed it. Honestly the jackass didn't believe me about having his money."

Jacob's jaw slackens.

I nod. "I'm pissed too. I mean he's got a baby and an imprint, you would think he'd rub a few brain cells together and even ask if I was joking."

Sam shakes his head. "So you know, I've ordered him to have no contact with you or Dani until he has talked to the elders and knows the whole story."

"Thanks Sam." I answer.

"How are you two holding up?" Embry asks.

"Dani went for a swim this morning and is still gone. I'm just chilling here until you move the couch and then we're going hunting." I explain.

"Where?" Sam asks.

"Out of La Push a ways. Just for a run and maybe if we're lucky we find a vamp to kill."

"If we're lucky?" Jacob asks incredulously.

I nod. "I'm sure someone's already shown you, right?"

Jacob nods. "To hear it from the primary source is something else entirely."

I agree with him. "Anyways. Couch. It needs to go. And they predict that the new couch will be available for pick up next Saturday."

"Will you still be here?" Embry asks. His voice cracks as if the answer is going to hurt him.

I shrug. "Depends on how badly Paul pisses me off."

My phone rings back in my bedroom. I sigh in irritation.

"Guess I'll track that down then." I throw my hair back into a ponytail as I walk down the hallway. There's a whistle and some snickering I could guess the reason for, but won't as they start moving the couch.

I find my phone tangled in the blankets on my bed and answer it.

"Dani?" I ask.

"KENSI!" She screams. "I've got three imprints at the beach and a vampire. I need backup!"

My eyes widen as I grab my boots.

"I'm coming." I hang up as I pull my boots on. I grab my keys for the car and shove them into my pocket. I walk into my closet and grab my dagger and sword. I too late realize I grabbed the cross body sheath for the sword and not the one around my waist. With a sigh I haphazardly throw the sheath around my shoulder, shoving my arm through it, holding the dangerously sharp blade in my teeth. I shove the sword into the sheath, as I come out of the hallway, midway through the process of strapping on the dagger I strap to my thigh.

"What's going on?" Embry asks.

"Vampire at the beach. Dani is holding it off but it's after imprints. Let's go." I explain, breathlessly jogging out the door.

The three wolves follow me out.

"Don't know who is down there." I answer before Sam gets the chance to ask.

I take off at my full sprint for the beach, moving at the speed of light. As I approach the beach I can feel the vibrations of movement through the earth's crust. Three bodies secluded closely together, probably the imprints, and Dani fighting with the vamp. Female. She carries Morrow's scent, very muted and old however.

"Morrow's mate!?" I cry in absolute shock.

Dani nods favoring her ribs.

"Dani!?" I cry in shock.

"I'm alright. Little bitch got me." The smell of my sister's unshed tears of pain makes me see red. Probably broke my sister's ribs.

"You need to get out of here." I shout, turning to look at Kim, Rachel, and Emily. I look around for the girls' cars but see none.

I draw my sword, lighting it up with fire so hot it drips and sizzles on the sand. I stand in front of Dani and the three imprints in a low defensive stance.

"Dani the keys to my car are in my front pocket, right side. Run home, and bring it back to get them out of here."

"I don't think so." The vampire draws.

"Well I do. Dani." I bark. Her shaking fingers grope for the keys through my jeans and grab my keys. Within seconds, she's gone.

"You're probably as weak as your sister." The vampire hisses.

"You wish." I growl. Seconds later the wolves, ten of them, line the forest line.

"You're outnumbered." I hiss as the roar of my Camaro grows louder and louder.

"Get your girls out of here." I say looking at the wolves.

The she-vampire shakes her head, her long blond locks flowing in the wind. "No. I plan on killing you and your sister and making meals out of the girls."

I narrow my eyes before lunging at her. My blade flashes outwards, a movement so quick that I felt the electricity crackle around me.

"Run!" I shout behind me.

"No!" The vampire screams. My yellow car whips into the parking lot as five wolves make a circle around the imprints.

"No! You are mine!" The vampire screams. She lunges after them. It takes seconds for me to make what should have been a split second decision. I sheath my sword in one movement while grabbing my dagger in the other hand. In one easy and quick movement I slice the palm of my hand open.

Pain spreads up my arm and blood drips off the edge of my dagger and onto the sand.

I watch with a satisfied smirk at the vampire freezes and whips around, her bloodthirsty crimson gaze locking on me and the bloodstained dagger.

"You want it?" I ask, shoving the dagger into my sheath. "Come and get it." I growl grabbing my sword. Pain flares through my entire arm as I grip the hilt of my sword with an open wound on my palm, but I don't dare heal it while there are humans for her to turn her thirst on. Problem with this being… blood turns on a primal instinct inside of vampires making them twice as desperate and dangerous as they were prior to being exposed to blood.

I raise my eyes to the wolf pack, about four wolves remaining. Others are probably chasing their imprints.

I noticed Billy Black with Charlie Swan along the edge of the beach, Billy assuring two wolves, one of them being Embry from Dani's outburst and my bedroom window last night.

The she-vamp laughs. "You're going to need all the help you can get young one."

"Well I still ashed your mate." My tone is a snarl as I adjust my grip. I let go with my left hand all together, focusing on my right.

"Aw did you hurt yourself?" She taunts, but I can see her need and thirst.

I flick my bloody hand at her, watching her expressions turn animalistic as the droplets of blood spray her face, before lunging at her. She dodges my sword's flaming blade once and twice, but the third time my blade slices through the marble of her skin like Swiss cheese. I send a jet of fire down at her arm, from her bicep to fingertips, and light it on fire so it won't reconnect.

The vamp howls in pain before lunging at me.

"Looks like you're down an arm too." I taunt dancing out of her grip. I leap backwards, ducking out of her arms again.

She growls at me and I laugh. "Unlike you at least I'll clap again."

And that does it. She unleashes the holy grail of blood curdling screams before rushing me. She knocks me off my feet but I let her. Her hands lock around my throat but I twist my arm around, and shove the blade against her throat. I feel the cool and damp sand soak my shirt and pants as we struggle on the sand.

I manage to pull one of my knees up and tuck my foot under her. I push her off of me while grabbing her by the throat.

The vampire lets out a startled cry as I hold her by the neck, shove my knee into her sternum, and hold her at sword point. Blood oozes out from between my fingers and down her skin. The warmth and aroma of my blood drives her crazy as she struggles to taste it. My breathing is ragged as ice creeps down the blade to the point, frosting her already cold neck.

Using my touch on her neck I peer into her mind.

"Katherine huh?" I ask in a snarl. Her memories and life story is on display before me, a newly purchased book yet to be explored.

"Got her mind here, what do you want to know, Billy?" I ask poking inside her head.

Hearing thoughts while touching someone is painless. But digging for memories is brutal.

I never heard what Billy says because I slowly dip into shock. My heartbeat slows but pounds. And my jaw slackens.

A wolf from behind whimpers.

In Katherine's mind, I can see her memories. She screams in agony.

Katherine standing before a crowd of 18 vampires, their eyes glazed red with bloodlust.

The scene flashes before my eyes again, Katherine and another vampire I haven't seen, he looks like Morrow, but it isn't. Down the line with his arm around his red-headed mate is Morrow.

The scene flashes again and Katherine is commanding an army of Vampires, vampires that are friends, and even 'family' of Morrow.

Katherine takes my shock and grabs my wrist, flipping me over in the sand.

This quickly regains my focus and it takes seconds for me to have vines sprouting out of the earth, pinning her down against the sand while she struggles.

I roll over and stare at her for a few seconds before rising. I light the sword on fire once more, and cut her legs off at the waist, willing my vines to carry them away, and using sheer will, light them on fire.

"An army. For what?" I demand.

Katherine laughs. I shake my head, sheathing my sword and grabbing my dagger.

I hold it against her throat and whisper this time. "Why are you making an army?"

Katherine smiles when I force myself back into her brain searching for the answer.

I hear two wolves coming down the beach from, standing beside me. It's almost intimidating having these two massive imposing presences right beside you. But I feel oddly safe and protected. Warm, despite straddling a vampire, a popsicle.

"Revenge. You murdered Morrow!" Katherine wails.

"He isn't your mate, but your mate's biological brother."

"All of Morrow's family are vampires now. Many family members he has procured. His mate was murdered by vampire hunters not too long ago, and he was seeking revenge on them, while satisfying his bloodlust to satisfy the rage."

I dig deeper, the equivalent of twisting the dagger inside of the wound.

"But you killed Morrow, so his entire family that gathered to kill the vampire hunter that killed his mate is gathering to kill you." Katherine snarls.

The wolf beside me growls, and a quick glance reveals it to be the wolf from outside my bedroom window last night. Embry.

"How many are there?" I demand, digging into her psyche.

"18." She gasps.

I scowl and she screams in agony. "But they're making more."

"When do they attack?" I say plunging the dagger through her marble skin as if it were paper.

"I don't know." She cries, if possible. I honest to God didn't believe her, so I dig into her brain. But they haven't decided yet. But they want to ambush my sister and I when we're together, and where the wolves can't protect us. More than likely.

"Any questions, anyone?" I ask.

"Please let me go. I won't return. Please." Katherine begs.

"Bullshit." I growl driving the dagger in, and watching it snap her head off her neck. All it took was a twitch of my elbow and she's dead.

I lean away from her form in shock.

If a vampire army wasn't bad enough, what's worse is the vampire that killed my father being in charge of an army. And seeing as how that same vampire's mate is the vampire I just killed… I'm in some deep shit.

I sit there frozen, the cold chill of the vampire burning my hand. I slowly release her and stand.

"Her mate killed my father." I blurt. "And now he's going to be coming after Dani."

My eyes widen. "Dani." My breath is a quiet hiss.

I open my palm dropping an open flame onto Katherine's dead body.

"I've got to get to Dani!" I call backpedaling down the beach, skipping backwards a few times, almost tripping in my haste. "Watch the corpse."

And with that I take off at a dead sprint, following the unique scent of my Camaro's exhaust to Sam and Emily's. Their scents, as well as about a dozen other werewolves, clearly have frequented this establishment.
