Hermione sat in the bedroom she shared with Ron staring at the ring on her finger. With Hermione's insistence they had managed to get the stereo to work and it was playing in the background. There was a knock on the door and Hermione looked up to see George in the doorway. She smiled and greeted him with a kiss. "You shouldn't be here. What if Ron comes home?" she asked as she pulled away. "He's at work. He won't be home until late as usual so we won't get caught." George answered and pulled her close for another kiss. They kept kissing and they ended up on her bed still kissing. A song came on that made Hermione stop for a moment.

George looked at Hermione and her reaction to the song. She had gone pale and was listening to every word. "Hermione?" he asked hesitantly.

The song ended and Hermione was still gazing at George. I'm married to Ron but I'm sleeping with George. I was so smart back in school why aren't I being smart right now? Hermione asked herself. She looked up at George. "We shouldn't do this anymore." She said not really meaning it.
George just looked at her. "Hermione, your not happy with Ron and that's not your fault. If you want me to leave I will but I need to know now." He said.
Hermione sighed. "I don't want you to leave." She said smiling. She pulled George closer to her and gave him a passionate kiss. Before they knew it they were in bed. Hermione snuggled closer to George with a smile on her face. A shadow fell in the doorway and Hermione looked up. Ginny was standing in the doorway with shock written all over her face. Hermione nudged George and he looked up as well. "Oh shit." He said guiltily. Ginny looked from Hermione to George. "What do you two think you're doing?" she asked furiously. "Ginny, let me explain." Hermione said.
"Don't bother Hermione. I'm not stupid. I know what I almost walked in on. It either stops tonight or I'm telling Ron." Ginny threatened. Hermione turned to George. "I'm sorry but it's over." Hermione said sadly. George got dressed hastily and apparated out of the bedroom. "I'm sorry Hermione but it's wrong." Ginny said before apparating. Hermione stood looking out of the window. What have I done? Hermione thought sadly.
