I have another chapter. Sorry about the delay again. I promised myself I was going to post on Christmas, and again on New Years but that didn't happen. Anyways, I finished that Chicago PD, Shack, and Twilight mashup that is absolute shit. I probably won't post that unless someone specifically asks me to, and if I do it might be M too. Anyways...

DANI

"Paul and Jared are missing." Kensi's voice rings across Emily's living room. "And Seth was attacked." Sue is sitting on the couch with Seth's head in her lap. Leah has Seth's feet and she looks absolutely murderous.

"Now this attack allowed us to confirm a few things, one, the kidnapper is left-handed. Because the cut on Embry's neck would've had to have been made using the dominant hand so as not to kill him, and we're positive they didn't want to because she had all the opportunity to later. She is left handed." Kensi explains.

"Why is this important?" Quil asks.

"Because that leaves us with two candidates. Captain Colette or Lieutenant Mara. Colette and Mara are either left-handed or ambidextrous, only I can't remember which one is left handed and which one is ambidextrous, and if the ambidextrous one claims her left hand dominant." Kensi curses at herself quietly. "But this is still unsettling. Because this begs the question: why are Elemental Guardians coming after werewolves? Our allies?"

"So why don't we ask?" I question Kensi.

"Because we could get killed?"

"You think every Elemental Guardian in that palace is pro-capture werewolves? Hell no. Some of them are even married to the Children of the Moon!" I speak. "We know Queen Marnie isn't responsible, she's primarily right-handed, can't use her left hand for jack. So this begs the question, why is she sending someone after the wolves, if she is at all. And if the isn't, then who is sending either Mara or Colette after our wolves."

Kensi purses her lips. "Are you suggesting that we go to Seattle ourselves and request a consul with Queen Marnie?"

I nod. "Yeah. I am. Armed to the teeth. We're the most powerful, we've bested all three of them before without breaking a sweat. Would be too easy to take them down."

Kensi shrugs. "It's an option. It would get us answers too. By questioning them directly, we can figure out who is lying and who isn't. We can figure out what the hell is going on. It will get us immediate attention and support because the one that is taking the wolves, will not out herself, but puts her closer to the wolves. Gives us the position to watch them easier."

"Do you think this could get Sam, Paul and Jared home quicker?" Billy asks.

"Absolutely." I answer.

Kensi nods too. "A direct confrontation will get us answers. It might be a little risky, but it's worth the pay off."

"A little risky?" Jake blurts. "Sounds like suicide. You let the threat know you're on to them is like poking a sleeping bear, Dani! They're going to be pissed!"

"True." Kensi answers for me. "But when people get mad they get sloppy. When they feel rushed, they get sloppy too."

"Or desperate!" Embry snaps. "What if they try to kill you two!?"

Kensi and I share a look, and I realize she was partially right. The worry coming off Embry and Jake will always be a hesitation factor for both of us. It will always tie us down.

"We're stronger than they are." Kensi says gently. "You saw how easily I had Colette and Mara back in Dani's bedroom right? Well when both of us can fight, two on three, it'll be much easier than that too."

Embry frowns looking at Kensi. His eyes linger and I briefly wonder what happened last night. Kensi disappeared after Seth told us Jared and Paul were taken. She fell off the radar. Gone. Poof. Like that.

Resurfaces after Jake howls for Embry. They came together from the woods, but now Embry seems more protective of her than he was before.

I look at Kensi who nods. Both of us look at the three Elders in the room.

"And you're absolutely positive you both are comfortable with this?" Billy asks.

"I mean they took three of us so far and have been pretty damn intimidating." Old Quil starts.

Kensi punches the wall but not nearly as hard as she could've. "Dammit!" She hollers. "They have three wolves with imprints here that need them. Hell, they took the father of an Imprint's child, Quil. I don't give a damn how dangerous this might be if it can unite three families back together. Risk be damned, if we're considering speaking to the hierarchy now and going on the offensive side, we're doing this. Defensive isn't working for us with the numbers we had before three of our fighters were gone, let alone the numbers we have now, but offensive will work better in our favor."

Kensi looks at me. "For God's sake, guys. We know that whoever it is, is doing a damn fine of being intimidating, but that's all she is. Intimidating us. However, I promise that whatever she's doing to Sam, Paul and Jared is probably much worse. I mean. Come on here. Sam and Jared, one is married, and the other is engaged. And Paul is engaged with a child. That child needs her father. And my niece is not going to grow up fatherless because of some backstabbing slut I worked with."

I nod to my sister. "Budapest, Kensi. Yin-Yang."

Kensi furrows her eyebrows. "Dibs of being Yin."

"What the hell is going on?" Embry asks.

"The hierarchy loves fashion." Kensi's voice explains. "So my sister and I spend 49 minutes dressing up, doing makeup and hair, so that three girls who wear too much makeup and hairspray can fawn over complexion and eyeshadow for thirty seven minutes."

I sigh at her aggravated tone. "Just because you hate wearing makeup, and doing your hair, and getting fancy doesn't mean that it is an entire waste."

Kensi straightens and glares at me. "I have better things to do with my time, than kiss their asses. And they know it. I'm going to get dressed, and then we'll be going. If this does nothing but smoke out the little bitch, I'll be happy."

I nod at my sister. Her eyes sparkle with a conniving intelligence that scares Mara and Colette, I know, and there's a warm blush on her cheeks indicating her warm fire inside. The ever-burning fire that no one can ever extinguish.

"Well let's move then." I whisper to Kensi.

"You can't seriously think you're going alone do you?" Jake demands.

"I mean… I planned on it." I say.

"Absolutely not." Embry hisses.

"If you come with us, they might not take us seriously." Kensi sighs. "Besides, if push comes to shove and there's an Elemental dogfight, your wolves will not be able to help Dani and I."

I nod with my sister before giving Jake a pained look. "I'll come back. Promise. Kensi and I can handle a few girls with over-grown egos."

I nod to Kensi who follows me out, her sword knocking against her calf. She's exhausted no doubt, but I know she will not rest until she's got everything she was after.

"DANI!" Kensi hollers down the hallway.

I look down at Jake who shakes his head. "Can you just ignore her?"

I shake my head, giving him a chaste kiss and rolling off his warm body.

"What?" I call after her.

"Can I borrow a shirt?" Kensi asks standing in my doorway. She's unfazed by the make-out sesh she just waltzed into.

"I don't have any classy shirts. Just dresses." I wink at Kensi as I walk to my closet. I find a tight form-fitting dress that will accentuate her ass and show off her cleavage.

"I am not wearing that." Kensi stammers backing up and out of my bedroom.

"And you can wear these boots." I toss her a pair of black high-heeled velvet boots.

"Hell no." Kensi hisses. Embry laughs from behind her.

"Your makeup looks good by the way and so does your hair. I'm telling you, this dress…" I trail off as I push the dress against her body. She bumps into Embry, who stands behind her in the doorway. I can see the look in Kensi's eyes, like a wild animal, caged.

"Oh fuck no." Kensi hisses.

"Oh yes." I tease. I reach forward and grab her arm.

Wouldn't it be worth it to see Embry start drooling over you?

Kensi's eyes widen and entire body flushes with warmth. Even her neck turns red with that one.

"Oh, I will kill you." She seethes.

"Might want to bring a jacket, it's backless and strapless." I mock as she grabs the hanger and boots from me.

"Yeah, no shit. I'm cold looking at it."

"Oh, I can't wait to go home." She moans. "I'm wearing jeans to my wedding I don't give a fuck. I'm getting married in Vegas. I am not ever wearing a dress. No."

"You wore a red tee shirt that was so tight one of the Children of the Moon almost humped your leg. Imagine what he'll do in that."

Embry chokes and Kensi glares at me. "Excuse me, Daniella Valerie Lahote, I recall that it was a werewolf named Raphael who kept hitting on you last time we were there."

"Are you trying to get me in trouble?" I growl at her.

"Ditto twin." Kensi growls walking past Embry and slamming her bedroom door.

I wince walking to my own closet. "How the fuck does she do that? She went into the bathroom fifteen minutes ago and looks like a damn runway model." I muse to myself.

"Damn right she does." Embry murmurs quietly.

"Just wait till she's got that dress on." I point at him. "She'll look like she belongs to the whore house, trust me, but she will look fine in that dress. Not that I've seen a lot of dresses on her, because I haven't, this is a first for everyone."

"What are you wearing?" Jake asks.

"Probably something just as revealing and risqué as she is." I answer grabbing a different dress out of the closet, this one is navy blue with a halter top and a tight satin material. I toss a pair of silver heels onto the bed already dreading the soreness of my feet later tonight. Diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet.

Kensi opens her door as I'm picking out my jewelry. She's wearing a massive pair of dangly gold earrings and a necklace to match. The front of the dress dips deep into her cleavage leaving almost nothing to the imagination, and the dress is short and tight.

Embry closes his eyes, resting his head on the doorframe while taking deep and even breaths.

"Why are you in here?" I ask Kensi.

"To make sure you're getting dressed, but seeing as how Embry and Jake are still in here…" She trails off. "You'd probably change with Jake in the room just to give him a show but I'm certain you would've kicked Embry out. Which is why I'm here to kick both of them out."

Jacob sighs standing up. He towers over me before gently kissing my forehead.

"We'll be outside."

"And I'll be with them because I trust you can dress yourself." Kensi says slamming my door behind her.

I was right.

Embry is drooling. Was drooling. It's no secret that Kensi is a knockout. She's the sexier, prettier and hotter twin.

Kensi pops in as I'm stripping down. "I need a jacket." She answers. "Because I'm already cold."

"Just ask Embry to warm you up." I tease.

"Fuck off." Kensi murmurs, flipping me the bird.

"You know what they say! Whores don't get cold!"

"Good thing I'm already frozen!" Kensi snarls back.

I just laugh under my breath.
