9. The Bells Toll with a Hoot

I figured I should send out Heracross for this one, if this Bellsprout was stronger I had to use a move that would be impossible to dodge.

'Heracross, I choose you!' I called.

'Use growth.' The sage said.

This must have been a new move that Bellsprout knew, not like the previous six that had only known vine whip, at least to my knowledge they did.

This Bellsprout knew a new move, that must have meant this would have been a higher level and more difficult to deal with.

That was good, this tower had been too easy so far.

Bellsprout's growth did exactly what was expected, it made Bellsprout grow.

With one growth it almost doubled in size, but it still wasn't anywhere near the size of my Heracross.

'Use growth.' The sage said again.

I realized I was wasting time with all these thoughts that raced through my head.

'Struggle bug.' I called.

Heracross hovered up and spread its arms out, green rays made their way toward Bellsprout, who had finished growing for a second time, almost three times his original size, he was growing quite quickly, eventually if I didn't finish this battle soon he could be bigger than my Heracross and then I would be in trouble.

The rays hit Bellsprout, it didn't faint him, but it dealt significant damage, enough to make it stagger, even at its current size.

Bellsprout recovered quickly and narrowed it eyes toward Heracross.

Maybe two attacks would faint it, I would have to do it before the Bellsprout got larger, as if on cue the sage issued another attack.

'Growth.'

I wanted to see if I could at lest stop him midway through growing or faint him.

'Struggle bug.'

Heracross repeated its previous actions and once again the struggle bug hit.

Bellsprout fell to the ground instead of staggering like last time.

I saw it try to get up but it strained it too much, it gave up after a few seconds.

The sage returned his Bellsprout.

He didn't send out another one, so I figured the battle was over.

I returned Heracross.

The sage took down his hood.

'I am sage Jin.' He told me.

The sage moved to the side so I could climb the ladder.

Once I reached the next floor I saw two statues on either side of me, and there were four more wooden statues creating a square around a sage, that would no doubt engage me in a battle.

I walked past him and-like I thought-he walked toward me.

'Chopped at the top, but the roots grip firm.'

This was a really confusing riddle. I didn't want to know what to make of any of them, but I was getting ready to battle, this sage probably had a Bellsprout.

'Bellsprout, let's go.' He called.

'Heracross, I choose you.'

I wondered if he would have anymore Bellsprout or just the one.

'Bellsprout, use growth.'

Oh, no, I couldn't have that.

'Struggle bug.' I called.

Heracross unleashed the attack, Bellsprout had already grown in size, but the sage had no time to get his Bellsprout to dodge the attack, so Bellsprout was hit, but it didn't seem fazed at the attack, like my move did minimal damage to it.

I'd have to think of something else if I wanted to finish this battle off quickly.

This sage would keep using growth until my Heracross would be no match for it, unfortunately I only knew one move that was effective against this Bellsprout, my other move would deal even less damage.

This task had turned into a challenge that was now becoming difficult, if I was struggling at this, how was I supposed to tackle the gym leader?

Maybe my other move would startle the Bellsprout.

'Heracross, Mach punch.' I called.

Heracross fist glowed and before the sage could react his Bellsprout was hit by my fighting type move.

The sage was surprised with my use of a fighting type move, so before he could issue another attack I followed up.

'Struggle bug.' Once again my Heracross rose into the air and released a ray of beams toward the Bellsprout.

Bellsprout wasn't issued to move and fainted as soon as the attack inflicted pain.

I wondered if this sage would have another Bellsprout, the previous sage only had one Bellsprout, but I didn't know about this sage.

He returned his Bellsprout, but brought out another Pokéball.

'Hoothoot, let's go.' He called.

Out came a Pokémon I had not seen before.

It was primarily brown and spherical. It looked like it was standing on one foot, a pink foot with four small white claws held it upright. From its foot it had a cream belly and underside. It had two small brown wings coming from its side. Not too far above its cream belly it had a small pink beak. It had two large red eyes with black pupils. Surrounding its eyes was a black border, under each eye were three lines going away from the eyes. It had eyebrows that were connected to the black border, they looked like clock hands and they were quite long too.

I took out my Pokédex to scan this Pokémon.

'Hoothoot, the owl Pokémon. Hoothoot has a special sense organ that allows it to track the rotation of the planet. It always starts to hoot at the same time of day, and this timing is so exact you could set your watch to it.' My Pokédex informed me.

This Pokémon seemed like a flying type, even though I was sure it probably couldn't fly, it's wings looked too small to pick it's large round body off the ground.

Heracross would not do good against this Hoothoot since both it's types were weak against flying. My best bet was to go with Cyndaquil.

'Heracross, return.' I said returning Heracross.

I might have needed him if there were any other sages on this floor.

'Cyndaquil, I choose you.' I sent out Cyndaquil. It looked hesitant at Hoothoot, but I knew it was because it was a Pokémon that he was neither or good against, I knew Cyndaquil was strong enough to win against this Pokémon.

'Hoothoot, use foresight. The sage called.

Hoothoot narrowed its eyes toward Cyndaquil, but nothing else seemed to happen.

I wondered what foresight was, what was it used for.

'Cyndaquil, use tackle.' I said.

Cyndaquil tan head on, toward Hoothoot.

'Hoothoot counter with tackle.' The sage said.

Hoothoot ran toward Cyndaquil, I realized what I thought was one foot was actually two.

It could run on its feet quite fast, faster than I would have thought.

Both Pokémon connected and the attacks pushed the other back, both Pokémon seemed to remain upright.

I would have to find a way to finish this battle off quick. I didn't want to spend too long battling this trainer, especially if I had more trainers to battle. Just because he had a different Pokémon than Bellsprout doesn't mean it would be any less easy to beat if he only had Bellsprout.

I would have to use a different move that tackle, since Hoothoot could mimic it.

I knew a few moves I had that it wouldn't have.

'Ember.' I said.

Cyndaquil shot a small ball of flames toward Hoothoot.

The sage didn't order it's Pokémon to move and Hoothoot was hit with the ember.

Hoothoot looked like it was in pain even after it had been hit.

I saw a burn on its right wing.

Now this would be easier as the burn would cause damage to it without me attacking it.

Hoothoot getting a burn was just luck, it would make this battle easier, but I'm sure I would have found a way to beat Hoothoot without the status condition advantage.

The sage didn't seem fazed.

'Hoothoot, peck.'

Hoothoot ran toward Cyndaquil and I didn't have any time to issue Cyndaquil to dodge before it was hit by Hoothoot's beak.

That confirmed my assumptions that Hoothoot was a flying type.

'Hoothoot, use hyp…'

The sage started, but Hoothoot cringed in pain from the burn taking effect.

Now he was distracted would be my time to take advantage.

'Cyndaquil run toward Hoothoot and use ember.' I said.

The sage looked at his Hoothoot, who still looked like the burn was hurting it.

He couldn't call out anything if Hoothoot seemed paralysed by its burn.

Cyndaquil reached Hoothoot just as Hoothoot was recovering, but the sage had no time to react before Cyndaquil hit Hoothoot with an ember at point blank range.

Hoothoot fell backwards and didn't seem to get back up.

I didn't know the burn would effect Hoothoot that much, but maybe my ember was more powerful when Cyndaquil was closer.

The sage recalled his Hoothoot.

He took down his hood and I returned Cyndaquil.

'I am sage Troy.' He told me.

This place seemed like a sort of cult with all these sages. Like they had rules to abide by or they were no longer classed as a sage and they were cast out.

I walked past the large beam in the structure and saw a person who looked elderly.

He had a cloak like the sages, but the hood was down and it was a navy blue, it also had a gold ring going around where the elbows were. It had golden squares going down the left side of the open part. Underneath the cloak this person had a dark yellow piece of clothing that fell to his knees. His cloak didn't reach the floor and I saw he was wearing white sandals, but they had a small block of wood on the bottom. This made this person seem a little taller than he actually was, but only by a couple centimetres. He had a white piece of clothing that had a collar popping over his cloak and a small part was showing underneath the yellow piece of clothing.

He had a thick moustache that went out further than his cheeks, it was also white and he also had no hair on his head, just like the sages.

He analysed me and I suddenly felt intimidated.

'You must be the trainer that the Gym leader sent here.' This person said.

The gym leader? I thought. That blue haired guy said that the gym leader was inside the gym. I was a little confused, it didn't help that it was also because of the riddles the sages gave me.

'I am Elder Li.' This person said.

Elder Li? Was this the last person, the person who I had to reach to get the scroll. It was really quite a challenge just to reach him.

'I think this is yours.' Elder Li said taking out a piece of parchment out from his cloak.

It looked old, ruffled and like it was almost about to tear.

He gave it to me.

No battle? I thought.

I was surprised and Elder Li saw it.

He laughed out loud, it didn't seem like a laugh an elderly man would have, it seemed so young and joyous.

'You have permission to leave, if you want, but you also have one other choice. If you believe you are up to it.' The Elder said.

I wondered what the other choice was, would it better than leaving, he just told me I could leave, no confrontation included.

'What's the other choice?' I asked.

'Have a battle with me.' Elder Li replied.

Have a battle with him? He just gave me the stroll, was he going to ask for it back until I beat him?

It would be great to have another battle, to feel like I deserved the scroll for a reason. To feel like I achieved something.

'I want to battle you.' I decided.

Elder Li didn't look surprised, it was like he expected this answer from me.

He smiled.

'I expected as much.' He replied. 'You seem like the trainer who would tackle any challenge to achieve your goal.' Elder Li continued.

'But…' I started, I extended my arm giving the scroll back.

He looked at me with a hint of confusion.

'You earned that.' He said refusing to take it.

'I haven't beaten you yet.' I told him.

'But you climbed sprout tower battling every sage on the way.' He countered.

'And I have beaten every one, except for you, unless I beat you, I don't deserve the scroll.' I told him.

Confusion had not left his face.

'If you happen to beat me then I will leave with no scroll, but if I win then I will take the scroll back.' I said.

'You want to challenge me for the scroll?' He asked still in shock.

'If that's okay?' I asked. 'A final battle for the thing I came here for.' I added.

Elder Li smiled.

'You have a sense of achievement which I've never seen in all my years of battling.' Elder Li told me.

I couldn't imagine that no-one had said something along the lines of what I had said in all of Elder Li's years of battling.

He took back the scroll anyway and put it back inside the arm of his robes.

'I'll let the challenger start.' Elder Li said.

'Cyndaquil, I choose you.' I said and out came Cyndaquil. I believed Elder Li would probably have a better team than every other sage, so I just had to be prepared and I think Cyndaquil needed more experience as Heracross had loads already.

'Bellsprout.' Elder Li called.

It made sense that he would have at least one Bellsprout. I wondered what else he would have and how powerful this Bellsprout was, or how good it was with fire type attacks.

'Smokescreen.' I said.

I needed to lower its accuracy, that way it would be harder to attack me, if it had any moved that were a little more powerful than vine whip.

'Use growth.' Elder Li called wasting no time.

The smokescreen slowly dispersed, but I knew that Bellsprout accuracy was still lowered.

Bellsprout grew to twice it size and I had to get rid of this Bellsprout before it go too big for Cyndaquil to handle.

'Ember.' I said. Cyndaquil hurled a small fire ball toward Bellsprout.

The attack connected and Bellsprout immediately fell.

That seemed too easy, this battle shouldn't be that easy, should it?

This was the elder, he should be harder than a regular sage battle.

He returned his Bellsprout.

He didn't comment on how easy it was for me to take it down.

'Bellsprout.' He called sending out a second Bellsprout.

Did he have an army of just Bellsprout? I thought his team might have been a bit more diverse.

'Vine whip.' He said.

'Cyndaquil, dodge and use tackle.'

The vine whip came down, but Cyndaquil managed to dodge the vine whip and ran head on towards Bellsprout. It connected and Bellsprout moved back a few feet.

I knew that this Bellsprout would be harder, but I guessed it was worth a shot to find out.

'Ember.' I called before Elder Li could issue his own attack.

'Dodge it.' Elder Li called.

The fireball headed toward Bellsprout, but it's soundly body moved in a way that is dodged the move.

'Wrap.' Elder Li said.

Bellsprout reaches its vines toward Cyndaquil and before I could say anything Cyndaquil was immobilised.

What was I going to do? It couldn't move and I knew wrap would hurt my Cyndaquil every now and then slowly taking away its health.

Then I remembered something, from when I was battling Heracross in Cherrygrove, when Cyndaquil was trapped in its horns, how close I was, how effective Cyndaquil's ember was.

I decided to try that again.

'Cyndaquil, use ember.' I said.

Bellsprout realised this too late and was hit by the ember, this made it drop Cyndaquil, but I wasn't going to let it up now, I wanted to beat Elder Li and earn the scroll.

'Tackle.' I said wasting no time.

Bellsprout was still reeling from the heat of ember and wasn't able to dodge the tackle.

Bellsprout fell in defeat.

Well at least it was harder than the first Bellsprout, but it was still easier than I would have thought it would be.

I think Cyndaquil had had enough experience now. If Elder Ali Gad anymore Pokémon I think Heracross would be great battling against them.

'Cyndaquil, return.' I recalled Cyndaquil back. 'Well done.' I praised it.

Elder Li called his fallen ally as I unclipped Heracross from my belt.

'Heracross, I choose you.'

Heracross came out, he was ready to face any for that it came face to face with.

'Hoothoot.' Elder Li called.

I wasn't fazed and neither was Heracross, we knew that this battle would be a little harder, but I knew we'd be able to get through it.

I couldn't use any fighting or bug type moves, I only had one other option, but maybe Heracross would be able to push through with this attack.

'Heracross, tackle.' I called.

'Tackle.' Elder Li countered.

Both Pokémon ran head on toward the other, once they connected they were both pushed back.

Neither one looked like a great deal of damage had been dealt to them.

'Hoothoot, use hypnosis.' Elder Li said.

Hypnosis? I wondered what this move was.

Hoothoot narrowed its eyes and it eyes startling to look like a swirling vortex of black and red.

Heracross fell, I knew it hadn't fainted, but it was asleep.

What was I supposed to do now, I was vulnerable to an array of super effective moves. Who knows when Heracross would wake up.

My mind went back to when we were in Celadon city and Leaf was telling us about all the status conditions.

She said that sleep was when the Pokémon slept for a while, but no-one knew how long it was or if the time was the same for any Pokémon. What if Heracross was a sleep for ages, what if he was asleep for as long as it took for Hoothoot to faint him. I wasn't ready to lose this battle, sure I still had Cyndaquil, but he had been dealt damage from the wrap, I didn't want him to fall asleep two, then I'd have no Pokémon to fight.

How could I have been so careless, I wasn't a rookie trainer anymore, I had battle in the Pokémon league and battle Drake of the orange islands, I should have been more cautious. I thought Elder Li would attack me with super effective moves, but no, he just had to make it easier for him to get rid of my Pokémon.

If I used Cyndaquil I had to make sure that it would not be vulnerable to Hoothoot's hypnosis attack, but Hoothoot's other moves were not as effective, so the logical explanation for Elder Li would be to make both my Pokémon sleep, then he could take both of them out.

'Hoothoot, use peck.' Elder Li called.

Of course, now was the time to use super effective moves.

The attack didn't even make Heracross stir.

I had to call him back, who knew when he'd wake up.

'Heracross, return.' I said. 'Thanks.' I continued,

Now it was getting to the tie breaker. I had to play this carefully, maybe if I obscured Hoothoot's vision it would be better, that way it's hypnosis had a better chance of missing.

I had to use Cyndaquil, there was no other choice for me, but it battled a Hoothoot last time and won, so I was hopeful.

'Cyndaquil, I choose you.' I said sending out my last hope of victory.

'Cyndaquil, use smokescreen.' I said as soon as he was out.

Elder Li shook his head, as if I did something that was below his expectations.

'That won't work.' He told me. 'Hoothoot has the ability keen eye, it prevents accuracy loss.' He explained.

This was a problem, not only could it put other Pokémon to sleep, but it's moves wouldn't miss, none of them, so now I had to figure out a way to beat a Hoothoot with just Cyndaquil who had taken a little damage already.

'Hoothoot, peck.' Elder Li took advantage of my hesitation.

Before I could react Hoothoot was upon Cyndaquil and hit its beak on Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil skidded back a few feet.

I had to find a way to end this battle quickly or Cyndaquil would probably serve the same fate as Heracross.

'Hypnosis.' Hoothoot said.

'Don't look at it Cyndaquil, as much as you want to, do not look at it.' I told it.

Cyndaquil adverted it's gaze so it would fall asleep.

Before, I had no idea what hypnosis would do. I had no idea it would have put Heracross to sleep.

I wasn't going to fall for the same attack twice.

'Cyndaquil, use ember.' I said.

'Hoothoot, dodge.'

Cyndaquil shot a small flame toward Hoothoot, but Hoothoot jumped using its flipper shaped wings to elevate it a little higher and dodge the attack.

This was not good, how was I going to beat Elder Li if he could dodge my attacks and make every one of his attacks land successfully.

I had temporarily solved the hypnosis problem, but I was only one mistake away from Cyndaquil falling asleep.

I had an idea, it was crazy and I hadn't used it since Kanto, it had helped me most of the time, but I had to use the attack this time too. Cyndaquil might get hurt from this too. I hoped the damage was significant enough to faint Hoothoot.

I remember something that Rachel taught me, she used it the first time we battled Team Rocket.

Koffing was coughing up gases due to how much damage had been taken from it.

'Charmander use ember on the gases.' Rachel said.

Once ember came in contact with the gases there was a loud explosion and Team Rocket broke through the roof and out of sight.

Of course this time I had to create the gases myself.

'Cyndaquil, use smokescreen.' I said.

Elder Li looked confused, as if I had forgot what he told me earlier.

As soon as it started to disperse I called out my next attack.

'Ember.'

Cyndaquil shot the ember toward the smokescreen and as soon as it connected there was an explosion as the fire connected with every particle and each one caused a small explosion setting off the next creating one big explosion.

I didn't see Elder Li because of the huge smoke cloud, but wondered how Hoothoot had faired with that attack, it would be almost impossible to survive that explosion. It wasn't the biggest one I had ever done, but considering it was only Cyndaquil, the first in its evolution line it was a pretty good explosion.

The dust cloud slowly disappeared and we saw that Hoothoot had fainted.

Cyndaquil looked a little beaten up, maybe the explosion was big enough that it accidentally cause itself some damage.

I had won, I was a little shocked.

The outcome shouldn't have been that surprising with the explosion I had created.

Elder Li seemed as fazed as I was at the moment. He just stood there looking at his fallen Pokémon.

I recovered before he did.

'We did it Cyndaquil.' I said getting down to its level.

He looked okay other than the damage he caused it wasn't enough to make him faint, but I knew he needed a rest.

'Return.' I called and he went back to his Pokéball. 'Well done, have a rest.' I said before I clipped his Pokéball to my belt.

Elder Li returned his Hoothoot.

I walked the distance that was between us.

'Congratulations.' He said taking out the scroll and handing it to me.

I took the scroll carefully, I didn't want to accidentally rip it.

'The Gym leader will be waiting for you, Jordan Hale.' Elder Li said.

I looked up at him in shock.

'I got a call from the gym leader, your friends must have told them who you were.' Elder Li explained.

He got a call from them, I didn't think these people would have that sort of technology, I thought they would stick to old technology, or no technology. Guess I was wrong, this is just a battle tower, nothing like a cult.

'Before you go.' Elder Li started. 'Do you know what the riddles that my sages told you were referring to?' He asked me.

I recalled all the riddles the sages gave me.

"The tower sways, but we stay strong." That was the riddle given to me by sage Nico.

"Each sway makes us stronger." That was the riddle from sage Chow.

"It stands for hundreds of years." That was the riddle given to me by sage Jim

"Chopped at the top, but the roots grip firm." That was the final riddle given by sage Troy.

I tried to rack my brain for any meaning of those phrases, if it was obvious or not.

Elder Li saw me concentrating.

I gave up after a minute or so, I couldn't come up with any reasonable solution. Only that a tree once stood where we were, but the pillar was square and if a tree was here why would it sway, trees don't sway, at least their trunks don't.

'I can't think of anything.' I admitted.

'It makes sense, when we tell people, some refuse to believe us.' Elder Li said.

It couldn't be that far fetched, could it?

'This pillar is what used to be a Bellsprout that roamed Johto over 100 years ago.' Elder Li told me.

It did seem a bit unusual and I understood why people would choose not to believe, but all the riddles made sense now.

Nico was referring to how weak a Bellsprout spindly body is, but they were sages who gave trainer a challenge.

Chow was referring to the tower itself, they stay here no matter how violently the tower sways.

Jin said that it had been here for hundreds of years, which meant the Bellsprout stopped roaming Johto when humans must have settled here, which was probably a few hundred years ago.

Troy was harder to understand, but he was actually referring to the actual Bellsprout, I didn't see the head so it must have shrivelled and fallen off or been chopped off, but the tower still stood as the roots gripped into the ground so the tower wouldn't topple over.

If I hadn't been given those riddles I probably wouldn't have believed what Elder Li told me.

Elder Li saw my face morph into realisation.

It made total sense now.

'Okay, so if you want to leave, sage Troy will show you a shortcut.' Elder Li told me.

'Thanks.' I said and turned in the direction of sage Troy.

Sage Troy seemed to have tied his rope to the stem of the tower, there was a small gap between the swaying stem and the floor I was currently in.

I had a feeling I knew what the ropes were for now.

This was indeed a shortcut, but it wasn't one I had expected.

'Once you get to the bottom just tug on the rope twice, so I know you've reached the bottom safely.' He told me.

I was hesitant, but it was a quicker way and I had no idea what the time was or how long I had been here.

My friends had Bren waiting in the gym by themselves for ages, I would have to apologise once I saw them and the gym leader for making him wait too.

I let myself slide down, the rope burnt my hands, but I couldn't let go, I slowed myself as I reached the ground floor.

As soon as I was safe on the ground floor I tugged on the rope twice.

It disappeared almost immediately.

I exited sprout tower relishing in the sole experience. It was weird I had hardly ever been alone on my journey. I tried to recall the last time I was alone for that long before.

I don't remember the last time, I don't think there was.

I had always been with my friends, I preferred travelling with someone, the experience would have been better with my friends beside me, but the gym leader makes the rules.

If I wanted to battle him I had to complete the challenge he gave me.

It was staring to get dark as I exited sprout tower, the light on the small island had been lit.

I decided to head to the Pokémon centre, I would rest my Pokémon because they needed it. Then I would collect my friends from the gym, it was much too late to battle now, I hope the gym leader didn't mind. I would feel better refreshed tomorrow.

The walk to the Pokémon centre alone seemed eerie. It was a little uncomfortable, in a historic themed town, it wasn't that pleasant.

I made it the Pokémon centre, the unpleasantness washing off as soon as I entered.

I went straight to the counter.

'Hello.' Nurse Joy greeted me. 'How may I help?'

'Can I rest my Pokémon, please?' I asked.

A tray was set on the counter and I placed both my Pokéballs on it.

Camilla came up to me as soon as I turned around.

'Camilla?' I asked. 'What are you doing here?'

'We're waiting for you.' She replied dragging me by the arm to the table that Brock and Jasmine were sitting at.

'Did you get it?' Jasmine asked almost simultaneously as I sat down.

I took the scroll out from my bag.

'What does it say on it?' Brock asked.

I hadn't even read it myself, maybe I should have once I recurved it or before I came here.

I opened it up slowly careful not to rip it.

'To the Violet city gym leader, this trainer has passed the challenge of sprout tower and proven themselves worthy of a gym battle.' I recited the words that were on the paper.

'Not sure how Falkner will take that.' Brock mused.

He was right, it was like they said, this random trainer climbed up to get this scroll, now you have to battle them.

Wait a minute Falkner?

'You know the gym leaders name?' I asked.

'He was the one outside.' Camilla confirmed.

That made sense, sometimes gym leaders challenge in more ways than one.

I almost forgot that I had to apologise to my friends.

'Oh, guys, I'm sorry for leaving you there for so long.' I replied.

'It's fine, Jordan.' Jasmine said. 'We watched a gym battle.' She stated.

'Really?' I asked.

I wondered what Jasmine thought of it.

I looked at Camilla and Brock they exchanged a look, each of them gesturing to me.

'It was, Liam, wasn't it?' I asked.

Their look told me everything.

I was about to jump up and go speak to him, but it was late I could probably speak with him tomorrow.

'Unfortunately, he lost.' Brock told me.

'So he said we could watch his rematch tomorrow, before your battle.' Jasmine continued.

The ding signalled my Pokémon had been healed.

I walked up and Camilla followed.

'Both Leaf and Liam are looking forward to seeing you.' Camilla told me.

I knew they would, it had been ages since I had seen them, it would be nice to catch up.

'And I can't wait to see them tomorrow morning.' I said as I collected my Pokémon.

Brock and Jasmine had already retreated to our room. Camilla and I followed, as soon as my head hit the pillow I was asleep, it had been a very long day.

But the aura dream came to me unexpectedly.

Jordan: I'm going to let Camilla sign off.

Camilla: Thanks, Jordan, now go to sleep. Okay guys *yawn* I am really tired, so it's a quick sign off, until *yawn* next time.

Chapter Ten: Violet Wings
