GrayStripe pov :
WHAT ! I couldn't believe it. I was staring at Fireheart which was now looking at his paws. HE WAS A CLAN CAT AFTER ALL! To be honest all of us didn't expect a kittypet to be so good in the wildlife and we all thought that Fireheart was one of a kind. Why would he keep this from us? And where is FireClan? And why isn't Fireheart with them, NOW?
I thought I knew him… he must have a reason for keeping this away… it just doesn't make sense!
- I know you must have… questions, Fireheart said finally looking at the two cats that were like family to him. And I promise I, Princess growled and gave Fireheart a death glare, I ment WE will explain and answear every each and one of them.
I don't know what to think anymore. It wasn't every day you find out your best friend lied. But if he was a clan cat how did he become a kittypet? And why did he lied about his origins? If he would've said he is a forest cat from the moment we met, his life would've been A LOT easier.
-I need a second. I said leaving the others.
Maybe some hunting will help me out. It was strange because I wasn't angry at him but I was actually kind of proud. He managed to fool so many cats. Even the liders.I took everything out of my mind and continued hunting as normal as possible but questions still ringed my ears.
Yellowfang pov:
- I think it's time for me to re-introduce myself,… My name is Fireheart, the youngest kit and son of SunsetFur and NutmegClaw from FireClan.

Fireheart is an actual forest cat?! That actually explains many things… wait now, did he say FIREClan? I thought that was only a tale to get the kits to fall aseep…
Graystripe's voice ripped me out of my thoughts and brought me back to reality.
- I need a second.
He left in the woods and left us here, in complete silence. HE is a forest cat for crying out loud! Fireheart! Honestly I will never admit this out loud but I am actually a little hurt that he didn't told me about this. I told him the truth about Brokenstar… he MUST have a damn good reason if he didn't told ME about this. I never met someone so friendly as him, as brave, as stubborn… well scratch the last one, I am still debating if it's either him, Graystripe or Bluestar. I almost laughed but I remembered what just happend
Right now I need some answears.
-So, I start, I think we should talk, BUT after Graystripe gets back. He needs to hear aswell.
Princess looked at her paws while Fireheart tried to ignore my gaze.
- I gonna go to CloudKit, Princess said and left after she nuzzled her brother in encouragement.
We stayed quiet for a few moments, as Fireheart still tried to ignore my gaze. I slowly reached him. I tried to get my words in order. Now I was right in front of him. He still didn't look at me, so I lifted his chin with my tail. His eyes were full of sadness, relief, embarrassment and… guilt?
Oh, Fireheart…
-I am so sorry Yellowfang! Fireheart said with a cracked voice. I shoud've told you! I know I should have!
I brushed his forehead like he was a scared little kit. My eyes became watery and a tear fell on my cheek. I would never show vulnerability with anyone but, Fireheart wasn't anyone. We sat there together, on the edge of the cliff. We've always been close and he was always there for me. I owed him. And as I said, Fireheart wasn't just ANYONE, he is… my son. And he has been sense the first day I met him.
I just needed some Yellowfang and Fireheart mother and son moment. I tried to make a cute chapter. I know i made Graystripe look a little harsh but i promise the next chapter it's going to show more of Graystripe's and Fireheart's friendship.
