So sorry for the repeated chapter, had to change a few things.

Don't worry, the progression of their relationship will be a huge part of a flashback during the sequel. I won't skip the important parts of their relationship.

There will be five more chapters for this one, but I will be writing a sequel.

Two weeks later

Santana groans as a knock on her bedroom door rouses her from her sleep and hides her face in her pillow. ''Go away!''

Maribel chuckles lovingly as she opens the door and walks over to the bed leaning down to kiss her daughters head. ''Cumpleaños Feliz mi corazón.'' She laughs as she just grumbles and slides into the bed beside her. ''Come on Santanita, it's time for your birthday breakfast.''

''Since when do we eat birthday breakfast?'' Santana asks with a soft groan as she turns on her side cuddling into her mami, she slowly opens her eyes and tilts her head up to look at her with an eyebrow raised. ''Since when do you stand up before I leave my room?''

Maribel laughs and kisses her head. ''A little birdie called me last night begging me to open the door this morning.''

''What, who?'' Santana asks in confusion, Maribel just smirks and shrugs.

''Get dressed, come down and find out yourself Santanita.''

Santana groans as she slides out of the bed before she can question her more and watches her walk out of the room, she rolls her eyes grabbing her phone off of the nightstand and unlocks it smiling lovingly as she sees a text message from her girlfriend. Yes Girlfriend, she can't believe it either.

From my blue eyed beauty: Good morning beautiful, I never knew a person could brighten my life as much as you do and I will be forever grateful for today because eighteen years ago today you were born. Happy birthday gorgeous.

She bites her lip trying to contain the biggest grin and slides out of her bed quickly walking over to her closet, she raises an eyebrow as she sees a set of clothes put aside and takes the note placed right on top of it.

She takes it out pulling off the long shirt she slept in and slides into the black bootcut jeans, she grabs the shirt frowning as she notices it's not one of her own and holds it up raising an eyebrow as she realizes it's the newest Linkin Park shirt to honor Chester. ''What the.'' She murmurs softly as she puts it on, she walks over to her mirror brushing her hair while looking at the shirt knowing it's a limited edition and bites her lip realizing just how much thought her mami put in her gift.

After she finished getting ready she grabs her bag and sprints down the stairs. ''Mami!'' She slides into the kitchen on her socks stopping in her tracks as she sees the beautifully set table with a bouquet of her favorite flowers and gasps. ''Whoa.''

Maribel looks up smiling lovingly as she sees her daughter wearing the clothes Brittany recommended and walks over to her daughter to kiss her head. ''The shirt really fits you mija, you look beautiful.''

''It's awesome!'' Santana breaths out pulling her eyes away from the table to look at her. ''Thank you so much mami!''

Maribel shakes her head and smiles lovingly as she kisses her forehead. ''That is not a gift from me mija.'' She mentions her hand to the table and smiles lovingly. ''Just like this set up isn't.''

''B?'' Santana asks in confusion, she glances at the flowers as her mami just nods her head to the table and walks over as she sees a card attached to it.

She grabs it taking it out of the envelope shaking her head at the beautiful written Blushy on the front and opens the card smiling slightly as she sees Brittany's beautiful handwriting.

You take my breath away everyday with how perfect you are.

''She put a lot of thoughts in whatever will happen today mija.'' Maribel whispers with a loving grin as she hugs her from behind having noticed the unshed tears in her eyes. ''That girl really adores you mija.''

''The shirt is from her too?'' Santana asks softly, Maribel nods her head kissing the back of her head and smiles slightly.

''Yes all of this is from here mi corazón, you will get your gift from me after school alright?'' She smiles as she nods her head and pulls out her chair. ''Come on let's eat this delicious looking breakfast before we both have to leave.''

Santana hums sitting down after kissing her mami's cheek and looks around shaking her head with a small amazed grin. ''When did she come over to make all of this?'' She asks the shock clear in her voice as she sees waffles, fruit salad, scrambled eggs and bacon placed around the table.

''Around six thirty.'' Maribel murmurs as she places the waffles on her daughters plate, she smiles as she grabs the chocolate sauce and locks eyes with her. ''She brought me a coffee knowing I am normally not active before I drank one and brought everything she needed over, she left about half an hour ago to bring have breakfast with Maze and Holly before they will have their last check up with social care.''

Santana just hums taking a bite of her waffles and moans softly. ''Damn she didn't tell me she could cook.''

Maribel just laughs and shakes her head. ''Your love definitely goes through your stomach Santanita.'' She smirks as she just rolls her eyes and winks. ''I am glad you aren't denying that you are falling for Britt and your definitely falling hard mija, when will you tell her?''

Santana covers her mouth chewing on a strawberry and smiles slightly. ''We will be going on another date tomorrow, probably then if I can keep it in today.''

''You just want to spit it out don't you?'' Maribel asks knowingly, Santana smiles sheepishly and mentions her hand around the table.

''You see this right?'' She asks softly. ''She does things like this all the time mami, it's not just breakfast or this shirt today, it's just Britt being the observing, caring and crazy girl I met and fell for.'' She shrugs her shoulders taking a sip of her coffee and bites her lip. ''I don't know what she has planned but I am sure this is not the end of it, she probably has a lot of little things planned well they will probably be a no brainer for her but it has a much bigger meaning to me.''

''She has her own way of showing you that she cares.'' Maribel murmurs with a loving grin. ''Girl isn't the best with words, but her actions speak louder.''

Santana laughs softly and nods her head. ''Well she isn't the best with words whenever people are around, when we are in private she does know what to say to shut me up.''

''I am glad you found someone who makes you so insanely happy mija.'' Maribel tells her as she stands up to clear the table after they finished breakfast, she leans down and kisses her head. ''I am glad you didn't mind moving far away from our hometown, you met a great group of friends here and judging the look in your eyes and Britt's actions the both of you found much more in each other.

''I think I really did mami and I will be forever grateful for you moving me here.'' Santana murmurs as she stands up to hug her. ''Te amo mami.''

''I love you too, mi corazón.'' Maribel mutters against her forehead as she kisses it, she pulls back and cups her cheek. ''Go to school baby, see you later.''

Santana nods her head walking out of the kitchen and grabs her bag, she opens the door yelling goodbye to her mother and stops in her tracks as she sees Brittany's car in the driveway. She turns back around raising an eyebrow as her mother just stands behind her holding up the keys and shakes her head as she smirks. ''She left her car here?''

''Yeah so you can drive it and you won't have to take the bus.'' Maribel replies with a soft chuckle, she places the keys in her hand and kisses her cheek. ''Go, drive safely mija.''

''I will mami, te amo.'' Santana mutters in amazement as she walks out of the house unlocking Brittany's car, she drops her bag in the passenger seat smiling and walks around it sliding into the drivers seat chuckling as she notices that Brittany already pulled the seat forward so she doesn't have to adjust it.

She waves at her mami as she pulls out of the driveway smiling as the radio immediately springs on, on her favorite sender and hums softly to the music as she drives down the road tapping her fingers on the steering wheel.

After the fifteen minute drive she parks the car beside Puck's truck smiling as she sees their friends waiting for her with big smiles and laughs as Puck rushes over as soon as she turns the motor off, she yelps as he pulls her out of the car and into his arms and laughs as he raises her up congratulating her.

''Happy birthday S!'' Puck exclaims with a big grin as their friends surround them, Santana laughs as everyone chimes in Mercedes softly singing happy birthday and kisses his cheek.

''Thank you Puck.'' She turns to the group stumbling back as they tackle her in a group hug and shakes her head in amusement while kissing their cheeks. ''Thank you crazies.''

She smiles as they all pull back and leans back into the car to grab her bag, she stands back up and shoulders it hitting the button on the key to lock it.

She turns on her heels to face her friends again and locks eyes with Quinn as she stands right in front of her holding a flower, Quinn just smiles lovingly as she sees the confusing frown forming on Santana's face and pulls her into a hug gently kissing her cheek. ''This flower is called the Blazing Star and it stands for Joy, Happiness and blissfulness.''

She pulls back giggling as Santana takes it still frowning in confusion and winks. ''Come on let's go inside.'' She tells her softly not about to spoil the plan her best friend has planned throughout the day till lunch to woo her girlfriend.

Four hours later

Santana walks out of her last class before lunch and raises an eyebrow as Puck waits for her in front of the door with a flower in his hands. ''What the.'' She whispers as she reaches him having received an Aster meaning Charm from Sam, A yellow Rose meaning warmth and affection from Tina.

A Freesia meaning Trust from Mike and a Calla Lilly meaning attraction from Mercedes.

Puck laughs handing her the flower and winks. ''This is a Begonia, it means gratitude and affection.'' He wraps an arm around her shoulders and kisses her cheek. ''Ready for lunch?'' He asks softly as he leads her to her locker so she can store the flower in there.

Santana hums stepping away from him ignoring the gazes from other students and unlocks her locker, she gasps softly as sees a beautiful bouquet of red and orange lilies, she grabs the note attached to it and sniffles as she reads Brittany's beautiful written note.

Orange Lilies mean pride and red lilies mean passion, I can see both in your eyes. Pride whenever you talk about something that makes you proud, like your mami finally getting the recognition in her job she deserves.

And Passion whenever you talk about music and your dreams, high school isn't over yet but I am sure that you will be as successful as someone can be. You will show the world what it's missing, either with music, acting or just showing them the beautiful person you are, you will manage to change the worlds view on certain things and you will do it with so much passion Santana.

''Where is she Puck?'' She asks softly voice filled with tears, ready to just hug her girlfriend and thank her for everything did today.

''Come with me.'' Puck murmurs gently as he squeezes her shoulder softly knowing Brittany managed to hit Santana right in the feels with everything she planned during their school day, he gently closes her locker after making sure the flowers filling it won't be crushed and wraps his arm around her shoulder leading her towards the cafeteria.

He enters the cafeteria immediately leading her to their table knowing their friends already grabbed lunch for them and places her down in her original seat shooting their friends a wink as she immediately looks around for her girlfriend, he sits down beside her and taps her shoulder. ''San.''

He smiles as she turns to him the emotions clear in her brown orbs and nods his head to their friends, Santana licks her lips slowly turning to their friends sitting on the other side of the table and gulps thickly as she sees Brittany slowly standing up from her hiding spot behind Sam and Mike holding a beautiful bouquet of purple and pink flowers.

''Britt-Britt.'' She whispers her voice cracking, she watches her walk around not noticing other students also observing them and sniffles. ''How..''
