Strange things they declared time would reveal in direful summer months.

Bother.

A very frustrated Keladry of Mindelan wakes up today. A very annoyed one greets friends. A very irritable one does her duties, as is expected of her.

If one had actually bothered to talk to her, which wasn't something anybody wanted to do, they would have realized that there were bags under her eyes, and an almost droopy expression that crept into her voice when she wasn't snapping at people. If one had actually had a conversation with her that did not include a dismissal in the first five words, and if that same one was a friend of some sorts, they would have realized that Keladry was having a terrible, horrible, no good bad day.

This was because Keladry, and may some call her crazy, had gone into the Chamber again. Not that she enjoyed it of course. Mithros, no! But, the allure of the cryptic message had sent her coming back. Keladry now hated: Scanrans, the Chamber, Maggur, and Mithros, BLAYCE!

But then again, when did anybody actually bother?
