Harry and Teddy had gone home after they ate. When they reached the house Harry looked over at Teddy and smiled when he saw him sleeping. He quickly got out of the car and grabbed Teddy. Harry carried him to his room and tucked him into bed. He then went back to the car and grabbed Teddy's clothes so that he could put it away.

Harry hadn't noticed that Renee had watched him as she waited for her daughter to come back from her room with the item that she was going to donate. She was curious about her ex's new neighbor ever since he had called earlier. There was something about him that was familiar but at the sound of footsteps she turned towards the stairs.

Bella handed the necklace to her mother. Renee noticed that she looked very upset about it. She also noticed that the necklace was a teardrop shaped diamond on a silver chain. This made her realize that this was given to her by her boyfriend.

"I am going to donate this to the children's hospital. You will stay here or else." With that Renee left for the hospital since she knew a trustworthy person there who would sell the necklace and put the money into the account that is set up for money donations or to buy clothes and toys to donate to the hospital.

Bella looked horrified at the thought of giving away her necklace but she knew better than to disobey her mother. She sat on the couch wondering what she was going to do.

[What am I going to do for community service? Where am I going to volunteer at?] Bella thought.

She was under the impression that she was going to be picking what she would be doing. What Bella didn't know was that her father had made arrangements with her school so that she would go pick up trash and paint over graffiti at different places. Charlie also made arrangements with Carlisle so that she would be a volunteer at the hospital.

Renee made it to the hospital where she met up with her friend. She was one of the nurses who worked in the children's ward.

"Renee is that you?" A tall blond haired woman asked.

"It is Sarah."

"What brings you here?" She asked.

Renee explained her situation. Sarah was shocked by what she had heard. She couldn't believe the shit that Bella had pulled.

"You gave her a great punishment Renee. Give me the necklace and since I am going on my break now I will go sell it and put the money into the bank account." She said.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Renee and Sarah walked back out to their cars. As they walked they quickly caught up with each other. She wanted to make sure that Bella was in her room since she wanted to talk to Charlie. Renee wanted to catch up with him.

Charlie walked into the living room and noticed that Renee had left but Bella was sitting on the couch. He made his way over to her.

"Isabella, here is your schedule. It shows what day you have community service and where, what days you volunteer at the hospital, and what days you work at the police station."

"I thought that I would pick the community service and where I would volunteer at." She said.

"You were wrong." Bella looked at her father with a hurt look. "Don't give me that look. If you were to pick then it wouldn't be much of a punishment now would it? Go to your room." Bella got up and left.

Charlie went into the kitchen to make himself some coffee. He just couldn't understand why Bella was acting like this. He wondered where and when she had gotten the attitude. Hopefully with this punishment she will lose the attitude and become a respectable young woman.

He had finished his coffee when he heard a knock at the door. He answered it and found that it was only Renee. He moved aside so that she could enter.

"Can we talk?" She asked.

"Sure Renee. Let's talk in the kitchen." He said.

"Where is she?" She asked.

"In her room." He answered.

"I am going to make sure real quick." After she had already done a runner Renee wasn't going to take that chance and Charlie didn't blame her.

"Okay and I will make us something to eat." Renee nodded then left to check on her daughter.

Charlie had made sandwiches and then filled two glasses with water. He sat down and waited for Renee. He wondered what she wanted to talk about. Charlie wanted to talk to her too anyway. He wanted to talk to her about Harry.

Renee opened Bella's bedroom door and saw that she was on her bed. She shut the door and went into the kitchen. Renee saw that Charlie made sandwiches. She sat down in the chair opposite of him.

"What did you want to talk about Renee?" He asked.

"I just wanted to catch up, is all. I have to leave tomorrow since today was a day off." She said.

"I see. I wanted to talk to you anyway." He said.

"What about?" She asked.

Charlie sighed. "As you know I have new neighbors. Harry and his little brother Teddy. I offered to help them move in their boxes. As I helped I noticed that I was checking out Harry and was attracted to him."

"I see. Does this bother you Charlie?" She asked.

"It is just that...well..." Charlie took a deep breath. "He is the first guy I have ever been attracted to."

"I understand. Charlie, do you want some advice?" He asked.

"Yeah."

"If you are attracted to him then flirt with him. If he flirts back then you know that he is attracted to you. Get to know him and if you do like him then ask him out. Take things slowly and see where they lead you." She suggested.

Charlie nodded since it made sense. "Thank you Renee."

"Your welcome Charlie. I'm going to go to the hotel I booked and come by tomorrow to say goodbye." She said.

"Okay Renee. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Charlie." Renee left after putting her dishes in the sink.

Charlie made another sandwich and went upstairs to give it to Bella. He then went back downstairs to watch some T.V. He soon fell asleep.

(Alaska with the Denali clan)

Alice was picked up by Tanya at the airport. Tanya was exasperated. She and the rest of her clan had been told about the situation. Edward was an idiot but they never would have thought that Alice would be dumb enough to go against Carlisle.

Tanya noticed that Alice looked ashamed. With what she did not know. It was from either disobeying or from being caught. She hoped that it was the former. At least she wasn't acting like Edward who had to be brought here by Emmett. Even now he was trying to escape.

"Tanya?"

"What?"

"What do you need me to do?" Tanya was shocked by this.

"We need you to help us fix the house. We had a bad storm this morning so we need to do a lot of repairs." She said.

"Okay." Tanya now knew it was disobeying.

"Go out and find materials we could use. Don't even try to escape." She warned.

"Alright." Alice ran off to go collect materials and Tanya left to go check on Edward.

Tanya had put Eleazar and Kate in charge of Edward. They were to fix the furniture that could be fixed.

When she had entered their house she saw that Edward was on the ground struggling to get out of Eleazar's grip. It was then that Kate shocked him.

"What is going on?" Tanya asked.

"He tried to escape again." Kate said.

"Edward, stop trying to escape as it isn't going to happen. Try putting that effort into repairing the furniture and thinking about your actions." She said.

"You are not my boss." He snapped.

"Oh but I am." The look she gave him truly scared him.

"Fine."

Eleazar had let go of him and Edward started to repair a chair in the house. The three other vampires shared a look before Alice entered the house with her arms full of lumber. She placed it down near her brother before she left to get more materials.

[Knock it off Edward.] Alice thought since she knew that Edward would hear it.

Edward was shocked by this. He would have thought that she would be fighting this punishment. He would have to talk to her later to see what was up with her.

Alice on the other hand couldn't believe that Edward was being so stupid. He was just making it worse for himself. She shook her head and went back to the task that she was given. She was also thinking about a way to gain back the trust of her mate and family. Alice felt so stupid for disobeying Carlisle for a human that she hadn't known for that long.

(With Jasper)

After Jasper had dropped off his mate he drove back home. After he dropped off the car he ran off into the woods. Since it was a weekend Jasper decided to stay there for a while. He wanted to be alone to think and sort out his feelings.

Jasper was really pissed off at his mate and at Edward, but it was his mate that he was more pissed at. They risk their family's safety for a human and Alice goes off and disobeys Carlisle. She also betrayed him by breaking her promise to him.

[Edward had just been dragged off by Emmett when Carlisle told everyone that no one was to see or talk to Bella. Jasper turned towards Alice with a serious face.

"Alice?"

"Yes Jazz?"

"Promise me that you won't see or talk to Isabella." He said.

"What?" Alice looked upset.

"Promise me or else Carlisle will send you away too." He said.

"I promise." She said.

"Good."]

Thanks to that human, his mate broke a promise to him. He never did that before and he couldn't believe that she did. He never thought that she would ever act this way. He blamed Edward and Bella as well as Alice.

Jasper knew that Alice was sorry thanks to his empathic gift, but she needed to learn her lesson and gain back his trust. He just hoped that when she did come home that she would stay away from Bella.

Jasper caught sight of a deer and chased after it. Since he was here he figured that he should hunt.

(With Bella)

Bella was laid out on her bed. She was pissed that her mother donated her necklace to bratty children who, in her opinion, didn't deserve it. When her mother checked in on her it made her really mad.

[She came up here to make sure I was here. How could she? What a bitch and to think I gave up my life just so that she could be happy.]

When her mother shut the door Bella waited for the footsteps to fade before she left her room. She quietly made her way down stairs and stood against the wall as she listened in on her parents' conversation.

"As I helped I noticed that I was checking out Harry and was attracted to him." Bella almost gasped after she heard that.

[Charlie is gay. That is sick. I cannot believe that my mother is condoning Charlie being a fag.] Bella thought in disgust.

She continued to listen in when she heard that her mother would be leaving tomorrow. She made her way to her room. Bella then laid down on her bed devising a plan to get out of the punishments that she was given.
