Good News

After the menus were done Harry was kicked out of the kitchen by Molly. He decided to go write the letter since Teddy was being entertained by Bill and Arthur while Fleur explored. He knew that Sev would come here as soon as he received the letter.

When he was finished he sent the letter off and went down to go hang out with his brother. Harry knew that Molly would tell them when dinner was so he didn't worry about it.

(With Charlie)

Bella was miffed when Charlie left. He not only informed her of her new punishment but he also had his undersheriff babysit her. He had offered since his wife and children had gone to see their grandparents and he had nothing better to do.

Billy greeted him when he arrived on the res. "Charlie."

"Billy."

"How did it go?" Billy asked as they made their way over to where the cookout was being held.

Charlie explained from the beginning to the end. Billy was surprised by the punishments that both Renee and Charlie gave Bella.

"Wow. Good for you for punishing her. I love the punishment but who is Harry and Teddy?" He asked.

"Oh that's right I never told you that I have new neighbors. Harry Lupin and his little brother Teddy." Billy smiled knowing that the boy may be his son's imprint.

"We are going to have another cookout this weekend. Why don't you invite them so that Teddy can make some friends here?" He suggested.

"That is a great idea. From what I heard from the folks in town most of the older children are trying to bully Teddy for being smart. The kid is ten but he is in seventh grade already and the homeroom teacher keeps stopping them." He said.

"That's good. Why don't you go get some food while I tell those boys to stop eating all the food." Billy said as he scowled at the boys in question.

"Okay." Charlie walked off as Billy rolled himself over to his son and the other boys.

"Boys stop eating all the food before others can get to them." The boys blushed. "Now Jacob, remember how I said I would ask Charlie if anyone has moved here recently?"

"Yeah." Jacob said after he swallowed his food.

"He knows two who have moved in next to him. Harry Lupin and his little brother Teddy. Charlie is going to invite them to the cookout this weekend." He informed his son.

"Yes!" He cheered.

Billy left rolling his eyes as his son started doing an impression of a tomato. The other boys began to tease him.

(With Severus Snape)

Severus had retired and now owned a potion shop in Hogsmeade and in Diagon Alley. He was sitting in his chair reading when the letter came to him. He grabbed it and sighed when he recognized the handwriting.

Dear Severus,

Today Teddy was injured when he tripped and fell down the front stairs. I took him to a muggle hospital. The doctor said that there are cuts on his knees and his right ankle is twisted. He cleaned them and then gave him a crutch so that Teddy doesn't put pressure on his ankle. Do you think you could send over some pain potions?

"Those two can't stay away from the hospital if their lives depended on it." Severus muttered as he grabbed his potions and flooed over.

When he arrived it was Arthur who spotted him. "Hello Severus."

"Arthur, William, Fleur, Harry, Teddy." He greeted them back.

"Ah Severus just in time for dinner/breakfast." She had made dinner for Harry and Teddy and breakfast for the rest.

"Thank you Molly."

"No problem."

Severus handed a vial of pain potion to Teddy. He downed it and gagged in disgust much to the amusement of the others.

"Yuck! Severus, why can't you make it taste better?" Teddy whined as he drank his juice to wash out the taste.

"No. If I were to do that then you and your brother would purposely get hurt." Severus answered dryly.

The others laughed as the other two pouted at the ex potion professor. They left to go eat.

(Cullen house)

The Cullen household wasn't a happy place for once. Gone was the music Edward would play and gone was the musical voice planning endless shopping trips. Jasper sat in the corner of the living room looking out the window. Esme was in the garden wondering what had happened to her children. Carlisle was still at the hospital. Emmett and Rosalie were in the garage tuning up her car.

Esme's phone rang and she cleaned off her hands before answering it. "Hello Carlisle."

"Hello my love. I have news from Tanya." He said.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Edward is still fighting even after he was told about Bella. Alice however isn't fighting at all. She does whatever she is told without complaint. She even told Tanya that she felt stupid for disobeying me and breaking her promise to Jasper for a human she barely knows." He said.

"At least she knows that she had done something stupid." She said.

"Yes. Alice also asked Tanya if she could talk to me. Tanya said yes and what she asked me to do was very shocking." He said.

"What did she ask you to do?" She asked.

"She asked me to donate her clothing." Her mate said.

Silence rang throughout the house. Even Jasper was shocked by this. After Jasper and her family, clothes were the most important thing to her. For her to donate them meant something.

"I'll go collect them." Jasper told them and went up into their room.

"Did she say why?" Esme asked.

"Yes. Alice told me that since she destroyed our trust in her then she doesn't deserve the things that she doesn't need and her clothes are one of them. She wants only enough clothes that last for a week and that is all." He said.

"I'm glad and proud that she is trying to make up for her mistake." She said.

"Me too."

Jasper came downstairs with bags of clothes and left to go donate them. He smiled a little knowing that his mate was trying unlike Edward.

(Time skip to Friday)

Charlie was disappointed that he hadn't seen Harry almost all week. When he did it was fleeting. He decided to go to the bakery that Harry owned. He knew that while Teddy was at school Harry would go to the bakery to work on it.

Luckily Harry was outside with three muscular red haired males. From the looks of it Harry was ordering them around as they put up the sign. He made his way over to him.

"Harry."

"Oh hey Charlie. A little to the left, guys." Groans were heard from all of them. "What are you doing here?"

"My friend Billy told me to invite you over tomorrow for a cookout. They tend to do a lot of them when the weather is good." He said.

"I will come." He said with a smile.

"The sign should be raised a little. I will take you to the Res then." He said.

"Thanks. Yo, raise it a little you slackers." Charlie chuckled and left.

"Fuck you Harry."

"Yeah fuck you."

"Die little brother." Harry laughed and told them to hang it because he liked where it was.

(Alaska with the Denali clan)

Edward was finally able to talk to Alice alone. They were hunting and the others were far enough away that they wouldn't be able to hear their whispered conversation.

"Why aren't you fighting them?" He asked.

"Because I deserve to be punished for disobeying Carlisle and for breaking my promise especially since it was for a human I barely knew." She answered.

"She could be my mate." Edward hissed to her.

"Edward." Alice sighed. "I'm not sure that she is. I think that she is just your singer."

"I think I would know whether or not she is my mate." He said defensively.

"You said she could be not that she is and from what I heard from Rose was that Emmett's blood didn't want to make her drink but wanted her to claim him." She said,

Edward looked at her for a few minutes before he ran off. So far he learned that Bella lied to him and her family and now that Bella might not be his mate. It was too much for him so he ran back to the house.

Alice just watched him go since he needed time to think. She then continued hunting after she informed the others that Edward went back to the house.

(With Percy and Penelope)

Penelope returned home excited. Percy noticed his wife's excitement and couldn't comment because he found himself being hugged to death by her.

"Percy, I'm pregnant!" She exclaimed as she started to pepper his face with kisses.

"What?!"

"I fainted at work so they sent me to the healers and the spell showed that I was pregnant." She said.

Percy picked up his wife and swung her around causing her to laugh. He then put her down and practically flew to the fireplace where he floo-called his family. He told them all to come over to his house.

Percy's living room was filled with two black haired males, redheads and their wives, husbands, and children. "Perce, why are you ready to bounce off the walls?" Harry asked his older brother.

"Penelope is pregnant." He said.

The room exploded into screams. "CONGRATULATIONS!"

Molly walked over to her daughter-in-law and hugged her. "Congratulations sweetie."

"Thank you Molly."

The hugs were then given from oldest to youngest. They were all happy for her since she had wanted a baby for a while but wasn't blessed until now.

That night the whole family were surprised when instead of fighting over the kitchen Harry and Molly cooked the meal together. They whipped up the best meal any of them ever tasted.

(With Isabella)

Isabella was down right pissed and it showed on her dark red face. First she was punished, then forced to give away her necklace, next was her father giving her a babysitter, and now Edward wasn't answering her calls. He hadn't been in school either.

Isabella sat in her room continually called Edward. She wasn't going to do her homework because she felt that after she gets turned into a vampire she won't need what she used to do.

Unfortunately for her Charlie checked in on her. He took one look at her and her unopened bag and knew that she was calling Edward and not doing her homework.

"Isabella, hand over your cell phone." He said.

"What?" She looked at him in shock.

"You can only have your phone when you leave the house so that you can have it for emergencies but not at home." He said.

"That's not fair." She whined.

"Life isn't fair but you also lost the right to have a phone because right now you are acting like a child." He said.

"But I haven't seen nor heard from Edward and Alice." She said.

"That is because they are both with Esme's cousins." With that he left after he grabbed the phone from her.

After he left she put her face into a pillow and started to cry. [It's not fair. Stupid fag thinks that he can do this to me. Hate both him and that bitch. Why are they trying to ruin my life?]

Downstairs the phone rang. Charlie answered it and was surprised that it was Alice.

"Mr. Swan?"

"Yes."

"This is Alice Cullen. I'm calling because I realized that I forgot to do something." She said.

"What did you forget?" He asked.

"To apologize. I'm sorry. I knew that she was in trouble yet I still encouraged her to sneak out and I was wrong to do that." She said much to his shock.

"Thank you for apologizing and I forgive you for it." He said.

"I'm glad. I have to go now." She said.

"Goodbye Alice."

"Goodbye Mr. Swan"

He just hung up the phone when it rang once again. This time it was Renee.

"Hello?"

"Charlie, it's Renee."

"Oh hi Renee."

"Listen, I know that there is a cookout tomorrow and I have the day off. I was wondering if you mind me coming over to watch Isabella?" He asked.

"I don't mind."

"Do you mind if Phil comes?" Renee was now worried.

"No I don't. With our daughter acting like a child you are going to need someone to talk to." He said.

He would admit that when he first learned that his ex-wife was getting remarried he had been upset. He still loved her and wished she would come back to him. It had taken him a few drunk days and finally dating again for him to get over it. Plus now he was flirting with Harry. He was happy for Renee and didn't want to ruin that for her.

Renee laughed. "Thanks Charlie. See you."

"See you."

Charlie went into the kitchen and made dinner. Since Charlie wasn't a very good cook he once again made sandwiches. He brought that and a glass of water to his daughter. She was still crying into her pillow. Even though he hated seeing his daughter cry he knew that he couldn't go soft on her because she wouldn't learn her lesson then.

He shut the door and went to eat in the kitchen. Hopefully she learns her lesson.
