Cookout

It was three pm the next day and Charlie was in the living room waiting for Renee and Phil to show up. He was excited to spend more time with Harry. He couldn't get enough of talking to him.

He jumped up and ran to the door when he heard the doorbell ring. He moved aside and let Renee and her new husband enter the house. Renee chuckled at the impatient look Charlie was sending them.

"You can leave now." She said.

"Bye." Charlie said as he fled the house after grabbing his keys. Renee and Phil laughed as he left.

He made his way over to Harry's house and knocked on the door. Charlie forgot to breathe when Harry answered the door. He was wearing tight jeans and Charlie could make out the muscles in his legs. Harry also had on a tight blue muscle shirt. Charlie snapped out of it when he began to feel himself drool.

"Ready?"

"Almost." Harry went inside and grabbed a sleeping child before he left the house. "He was too excited to sleep well last night and so he finally crashed an hour ago on the couch. I haven't had the heart to wake him."

"I see." Charlie said as he helped Harry buckle him into the car safely.

Harry then sat beside Teddy and let him rest against his side as Charlie took his seat and began to drive. He was a little disappointed that Harry wasn't sitting up front with him but they still were able to talk so he wasn't that disappointed.

(Swan house)

Bella watched as her dad went next door before he left with their neighbor. Bella didn't know that her mum and stepdad were there so when she went downstairs to leave she was surprised to see that they were in the living room.

[That fucking fag is having that bitch and her husband babysit me?! I can't believe this.] She growled in her head.

She went back upstairs to hide in her room. Bella didn't want to deal with the people who were ruining her life.

(Harry, Teddy, and Charlie)

Teddy was awake by the time that they arrived at the Res and Charlie parked the car. Billy was there to greet them.

"Hello Charlie."

"Hello Billy. Billy, this is my neighbor Harry Lupin and his little brother Teddy Lupin. Harry, Teddy, this is Billy Black." He introduced them.

"Hello."

"Hi."

Billy and Charlie led the way to where the cookout was being held. When they were there Teddy's stomach growled causing the adults to laugh and Teddy to blush embarrassed.

"Aw, is little Teddy bear hungwy?" Harry asked with a wide grin.

"Oh shut up. Don't call me that!" Teddy growled at his older brother.

Teddy's growl caused the rest of the people at the cookout to look at them, including Jacob. Harry just smirked and walked off.

"Now Teddy bear I know you are hungry but that is no reason to growl like a hungry little wolf." Harry ran off as Teddy growled.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT AND I AM NOT LITTLE!" Teddy screamed as he took off after Harry.

"But you aaarrre." Harry sang as he dodged Teddy's lung.

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Harry!"

"Yes little brother?" He asked.

"I hate you." Teddy stopped when he noticed that his brother had somehow managed to get behind him.

Harry quickly grabbed his brother and swung him around before he hugged him. "I love you too."

"You're so childish." He pouted.

"I know." He smiled.

"Stop being smug." He demanded.

"Nope."

"Can I please go eat?" Teddy said as he hugged Harry back in a sign of surrender.

"Yup." Harry placed Teddy on the ground and walked back towards Charlie with a huge grin on his face.

Teddy suddenly grinned and turned toward Harry. "When I start talking to these people should I mention how you talk in your sleep?" Teddy smirked as his older brother paused in mid step.

The people around them were laughing and watching the scene as Harry turned bright red. He turned and walked back over to his brother as he tried escaping. Harry knelt on the ground, grabbed both of his brother's cheeks in each of his hands, and began pulling them.

"Little brothers are meant to be seen, not heard." He said through his teeth.

"Hey! Stop it, that hurts you big meanie!" Harry stopped when he caught sight of something on Teddy's neck as his t-shirt shifted.

Harry quickly moved the shirt away from his skin and looked at his neck in horror. Teddy, knowing what he saw, tried to move away but Harry quickly hugged him.

"What happened?" Harry asked softly.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Teddy lied as he gripped his brother's shirt and buried his face into his neck.

"Don't lie to me." He said.

"It was...I...well..." He stumbled over his words.

Harry moved them so that they were looking each other in the face. "Teddy?"

"Ron." Harry froze.

The onlookers watched as Harry's face morphed into anger and his body tensed. He stood and walked off and as he passed a tree he punched it much to the shock of everyone but Teddy.

"That fucking no good bastard!" Harry yelled as he walked off.

No one said anything till Charlie went over to Teddy who was still standing there looking at where his brother had punched a tree. Jacob had also gone over to Teddy. No one noticed that Billy had followed after Harry.

"Teddy?" Charlie asked softly so that he didn't scare the ten year old.

"I knew I should have lied but he always knows." Teddy said to himself as he sat on the ground.

"Huh?"

"Harry can get mad but he usually forgives people but there are four people who Harry actually hates. Ronald, Ginevra, and Hermione." Teddy told them of the night. "The last person he hates would be a guy who tried to do, well, adult things with me." The look on Charlie and Jacob's faces were ones of anger, disgust and horror. "Harry had entered the classroom when he saw the guy and," Teddy paused before he told them. "I don't know what Harry did since he pushed me out of the room. I only know that the guy started screaming before Harry left." Everyone looked at Teddy in various forms of shock and surprise. "Can you go check on Harry, Charlie? Knowing him he might be punching trees or he might go after Ron."

"I will go."

Teddy then turned towards Jacob and something in his head clicked. "So you are my imprint?" His whisper caused all the shapeshifters to become shocked yet again. "You might not want to touch me when Harry comes back or else you might become roadkill." Teddy giggled. "Can I eat?" He pouted at his older imprint and Jacob melted at the pout.

"Yeah." He and Teddy walked over to the food and began eating.

(With Harry and Billy)

Billy had caught up to Harry and found him sitting near the police cruiser crying. Billy knew from the minute they arrived that Charlie liked this man so when he seemed to lose it he went after him.

"Harry?"

Harry found that he was telling this man of the night that the three tried to kill him on the day one of Teddy's teachers tried to molest Teddy. Something about Billy made him trust him and he knew better than to not listen to his gut so he did indeed trust.

"Just the thought that the bastard was near my little brother makes me sick. I feel like I failed him." He admitted.

"You didn't fail him. Parents, guardians, grandparents, older siblings can't be everywhere at once. It is impossible." He said.

"I guess. Thanks." Harry said as he wiped his face with his sleeve.

"You're welcome."

Just as Harry went to stand Charlie found them. "There you are. Teddy wanted me to check on you."

"Billy beat you to it." He said.

"I see that." Charlie was distracted by Harry's hand. "How did you punch a tree and not end up with bloody knuckles?"

Harry froze. He forgot that he wasn't around wizards anymore. Sure he knew that the tribe here had shapeshifters and the doctor and his children were vampires but Charlie wasn't either of those things nor was he a wizard.

"Um well you see..." Harry just looked at him as he tried to figure out what to tell him.

"Are you a wizard?" Harry looked at Charlie in shock and so did Billy.

"Yeah."

"So am I."

"WHAT?!" Both Billy and Harry shouted.

"I am a wizard." Charlie said as he looked at both his crush and his best friend. "I was going to tell Billy once I realized he knew about magic. Renee knows since her aunt is a witch. Bella is a squib so we just never told her about magic. It was the real reason she left me. Magic was a big part of my life and she didn't want me to stop so that our daughter could grow up normally."

"That makes sense. I thought that it was strange that she left. It was her idea to stay in Forks after you both had gotten married even after you had offered to move to a city for her." Billy said.

"Yup. She was worried that Bella would find out when she came to live with me but I told her that I would only use magic when she wasn't home and so far she never figured it out." He said.

"I know that the Cullen's are vampires and even though I didn't want Bella to date him, I couldn't stop her. I also know about the shapeshifters." He admitted.

"That was why you never shot the wolf." He realized.

"That was why." Charlie turned towards Harry. "How come I never knew that you were a wizard and that you never knew that I was one?"

Harry shrugged. "I have no idea. Wait wolves?" Harry ran back to his cub.

"Huh?"

"What just happened?" Billy asked.

"I don't know Billy." They followed Harry.

They found Harry glaring at Jacob. They quickly went over to them to find out what had happened.

"Did you imprint on my little brother?" Jacob only nodded and in the coldest voice Jacob had ever heard, Harry spoke once again. "You hurt or rush him and I will make you wish that I had killed you, got it?"

"Y-yes sir."

Harry smiled. "Good."

"Better?"

"Yup!"

"Good we don't want you losing your temper...again." He said.

"Hey I'm famous for my temper." He pouted.

"Yeah, that is something to be proud of." Harry's response was to stick out his tongue. "Real mature and I thought that I was the younger brother."

"You are, but being childish is fun." He left only to crash into Charlie. "What? Oh hi Charlie." Harry said as he straddled his legs before he stood and helped Charlie up.

"Harry?"

"Yeah."

"Why are you so hyper?" He asked.

"It's a secret." Harry said as he put his finger over his lip. "Now let's get food." Harry grabbed Charlie's hand before he could respond and pulled him towards the food.

"Harry is up to something." Teddy said dryly as he narrowed his eyes at his brother.

The wolves and Billy looked at them. "What do you mean?" Jacob asked.

"He is hyper. That either means that he is teasing me like he did before or he is up to something. Since he hasn't teased me that means he is up to something." He said.

"Ah."

"Mm. I will have to get mum. She will put an end to it." He said.

"Mum?" Jacob asked.

"Not my biological one. See my biological parents died after I was born and my grandmother couldn't take me so Harry took me since he was my godfather." Teddy then began to explain his family.

"So Harry fears your mum?" One of the wolves asked.

"Yup." Teddy went back to glaring at his brother's back.

What Teddy didn't know was that Harry was planning on telling their mum what he was up to. After all, Ronald feared Molly and she would also demand the ministry to tell her why no one thought to inform them that Ronald wasn't in his cell anymore.

Harry just continued to plot in his head as he hung out with Charlie and the other adults. Ronald was going to pay for hurting his little brother. That bastard would soon learn that Teddy was off limits. Harry just had to enlist the help of mum and the rest of the Weasley gang.

Charlie kept sneaking looks at Harry. When he thought no one was looking, Harry would allow an evil grin to form before it would disappear and a sweet smile took its place. Charlie wondered what he was up to. The two never did notice that they were still holding hands. The rest of them did though and were throwing them knowing smiles.

Soon it was time to leave. Teddy pouted but made his way over to his brother. Jacob had the same pout much to the amusement of the rest of the pack and his father. Jacob's pout turned to a blush after Harry called out.

"DON'T WORRY KID WE'LL BE BACK AND YOU CAN ALWAYS VISIT TEDDY AT OUR HOUSE!" Harry laughed and walked off as Teddy yelled at him for embarrassing his imprint.

"Oh man." Jacob said as he covered his face with his hands.

"MAKE SURE TO WEAR A SHIRT IF YOU VISIT!" Harry yelled before he disappeared from sight.

Jacob's face went even brighter as everyone laughed at him. Harry sure was good for some laughs.

Meanwhile Harry, Teddy, and Charlie went back home with Harry teasing his brother the whole way. Charlie just laughed as he drove since he was amused with how things were going.
