This Ash story takes place just after he won the Sinnoh league, yes won, he decides to head off to the Unova region to start a new adventure, and to take another step to becoming a pokemon master

"Ah, man we finally won a league, and against that crazy guy with the legendaries too" said the raven haired boy named Ash.

"Pika, pika" said the boy's Pikachu.

"Hey look there's mom"

Good old Delia Ketchum was watering the flowers. "Oh Ash, you're back, congratulations on winning by the way, come on in, I'm sure you, and you're pokemon would like a nice big rest"

"Sure thing mom, speaking of which, come on out guys!" Ash threw up all of his pokeballs, and out came Infernape, Staraptor, Buizel, Torterra, Gible, and Gliscor, Ash, and his mons then entered, his house.

'This is Pokemon Speech, other pokemon can understand it, but humans cannot'

'Hello guys, we're in Kanto now, and this is Ash's mother Delia' Pikachu explained.

'Whoa wicked place dude' Buizel exclaimed. 'It feels so homey'

'Yeah, you are lucky Pikachu, you get to live here' Torterra said.

Gible then spoke, 'That's neat, and all, but' *sniff* *sniff* 'Is that food!?'

'Why yes Delia makes the best food' Pikachu answered.

'Well what are we waiting for, let's dig in!' Gliscor shouted.

Ash, and his Sinnoh pokemon, gobbled up all their food, and then left for Professor Oak's lab.

At the lab Bulbasaur was keeping the peace as usual 'Alright Totodile, you stole Bayleef's food, so you should apologize"

'Okay fine, I'm sorry, for nothing' The croc apologized.

'What come on you stole my food, give it back!' Bayleef demanded.

'But I didn't even touch it' Totadile protested.

'Alright, alright, knock it off you two, just make up already or I'm getting Charizard'

'Eep' Bayleef, and Totodile, yelped simultaneously.

'Okay I'm sorry, I did steal it, here you go'

'I accept your apology, thank you, goodbye'

'Aah I love my job, wait is that Ash!'

'Ash! You're back' Bulbasaur exclaimed as he ran towards his trainer.

"Oh hey Bulbasaur, how have you been doing, I'm doing great, just won the Sinnoh league, and all"

'That's awesome, hey Pika, you gotta tell me about that Latios fight you had, that was crazy'

'Oh pssh, it was nothing' Pikachu said, bashfully.

Buizel interjected, and said 'Nothing, oh man, you destroyed that guy, you should've seen his face, well I guess you did, since you defeated him, and all'

'And who is this?' Bulba questioned.

'I'm Buizel, nice to meet ya, and this is Torterra' Buizel answered, then pointed towards the massive turtle.

'Whoa, that guy's gotta be the ace'

'Well, actually that's me, no offense' said Infernape.

'None taken' said the big turtle.

'And I'm Staraptor, uuh don't really have much else to say'

'Man there are a lot of powerhouses on this team, no wonder Ash won' Bulbasaur said.

'Hey guys, why don't you meet some of Ash's other pokemon?'

'Yeah, let's do that!' Infernape shouted.

Ash's Sinnoh mon, met with everyone else, Infernape shared his experiences with Charizard, Staraptor and Swellow we're flying around, Gible took a Gabite out of Totodile's bowl, Buizel took a liking towards Sceptile, Gliscor was talking to some others too, and Torterra was kinda just standing there, menacingly.

Later that Night…

"Ah Pikachu, isn't it great that we won"

"Pika, pika"

"Yeah, you know I heard there's a region, all the way across the world, it's called Unova, and it has some pretty tough trainers, what do you say bud, wanna head to Unova?"

"Pika, Pikachu" Pikachu said excitedly, meaning yes.

"Alright, the we'll head out first thing in the morning"

"Pika!"

'What you're leaving already, why am I not surprised' said Bulbasaur

"Sorry Bulbasaur, but I still need to complete my goal of being a pokemon master"

'Ah don't sweat it, we're here for you still'

'Yeah, you're still the best'

'Go accomplish your dreams! You deserve it'

"Aww thanks guys, well at least if you're saying, what I think you're saying"

'Yeah, yeah, just go, and make some new friends, and maybe something more than that, hehe' Bulbasaur said.

'Yeah, come on Ash, don't worry they'll be fine'

"Yeah, alright guys, well see you later"

'Bye!'

Later that night…

"Well Pikachu we're almost there, just an 18 hour flight, and we'll be in Unova, man I sure am excited, are you Pikachu?"

'Heck yeah, I heard that there's completely new species of pokemon, and there's a lot of them, wait, Ash?'

*snores*

*sigh* 'Classic, Ash, oh well, might as well get comfy'

The Very next day…

"Good morning Unova, here I come!"

It was a new day in Unova, and a new day in Ash's journey too, the sun was shining, the flowers were blooming, and of course the pokemon were everywhere, the young trainer, was running around in the new land.

"Pika, pika"

"Whoa, look at all those new pokemon" Pidoves, and deerling, and more were all around, Unova was gonna be one sick ride.

"Alright Pikachu, we still gotta go collect some badges, but first I wanna go check out Nuvema Town, come on let's go!"

Ash, and Pikachu, headed towards Nuvema Town, to start their Unova Journey.

"Here we are Pikachu, Nuvema Town!"

"Pika!"

"Where do you wanna go now Pikachu?"

'Let's go eat!'

"Man you think like I think, alright let's go grab some grub"

"Alright let's see what we got, oh man I can't wait"

'Me Neither!'

"Hello sir, what may we get you today"

"I'd like a sandwich from every choice you got"

"All 10 of them?"

"Heck yeah"

"Alright then, order up"

Suddenly a young kid walked up to Ash, "Hey mister are you the guy that beat that Darkwai, and Latios?"

"Huh, oh well I guess so"

"Whoa" Another patron jumped up. "That was crazy, your Pikachu was awesome"

'Ah your making me blush'

Soon enough there was a whole crowd around Ash, listening to all his life stories.

Later…

"Man, was that delicious or what"

'Best sandwiches I've had in years'

"Yeah, hey what's that"

"It's, it's a STORM!" Some random guy said.

"Oh no, that seems like a pretty big one too, we better hide" said another guy

"Yeah, wait hey Pikachu where are you going"

'There's no way a storm this big, could be natural, there's probably some Unova legend causing this to happen'

"Well alright if you say so"

Ash, and Pikachu then rushed straight towards the storm, to find out the cause of the storm.

"Hey Pikachu wait up" *huff* *puff*

'Hey look up there!'

"Whoa, what's that pokemon" Ash said as he pointed towards a black, almost metallic dragon-like pokemon.

"Zek-Krom!" The large black figure roared, it unleashed a great discharge, that filled the sky.

"Whoa, watch out Pikachu, alright fine, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt"

"Pikachu!"

Pikachu discharged a thunderbolt straight at the mysterious pokemon, but when it struck it had no effect.

"No, thunderbolt didn't work"

"ZEKROOOOMMMMM" The enraged pokemon thundered, pun intended, it discharged again, but this time aimed towards poor little Pikachu.

"Pika!"

"No, Pikachu"

"ZEKROM" And just as suddenly as it appeared, the mysterious pokemon disappeared once more.

"Oh man, Pikachu, is there a pokemon center anywhere near here, please!"

"Hold on, I think I can try to heal him up" said a middle aged woman, in a lab coat.

"Please heal him up"

"Okay, but we gotta go to my lab first, come on ride on my Jeep"

"Alright thanks Professor"

"Professor Juniper"

"Alright thanks Professor Juniper"

At the lab…

*sigh* "I hope Pikachu will be alright"

Suddenly three pokemon ran into the room, a grassy snake with arms, and legs, an otter with a white head, and a blue body, and a pig with black ears, and a yellow snout, she was carrying a little shell in her mouth.

'Hey give that back, that's mine' demanded the otter.

'Too bad, can't catch me can you hehehe' responded the pig.

'Heh, looks like Tepig, and Oshawott are at it again' said the snake, pompously.

"Hey, hey guys calm down" Ash interjected. "There's no need to fight, that's not yours is it so just give back"

'Hmm, fine, here you go Oshawott'

'Okay thanks' I like this boy, maybe he'll finally be the one to pick me! Oshawott thought to himself.

"Alright Ash, here you go" Juniper handed Ash back Pikachu, who then sat on his lap.

'I'm alright now, and ready to battle'

"Thanks Professor Juniper"

"Please just call me Juniper, and also you must've fought against something strong if your Latios beating Pikachu got weakened because of it"

"Yeah we saw a black dragon pokemon thing, and it was creating thunder, and lightning, and stuff"

"Wait thunder, and lightning, black dragon, hmm, you couldn't be talking about that, would you"

"Well that's what I saw"

"Hmm, well I guess we'll never know, anyway, I've got a couple of new trainers, and they're about to get their starters, and I see you've already met them, this is Snivy"

'Hmm, seems alright I guess' he said.

"This is Tepig"

'Sorry about early' she responded.

"And this is Oshawott"

'Please pick, please pick me!' Oshawott begged.

"Nice to meet you all, but I'm not looking for a starter, I've already got Pikachu"

'Yep, sorry guys'

'WHAAAATT!?' Oshawott shouted mortified, he then flopped sideways on his face.

"Haha, don't worry there's some new trainers, and I'm sire they'd love to take you guys in" Ash reassured.

"Speaking of which, here they come right now"

"Alright, Bianca calm down, I know it's exciting we're gonna get our starters"

"But Trip, it's not just that, I finally get to go out in the world, and not get ordered around by my dang Dad all the time"

*sigh* "Let's just go get them already"

"Hello, my name's Ash, you must be the new trainers"

"Hi I'm Bianca, I'm so excited, this is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity"

"And you are?"

"Trip"

"Wait, are you the guy who beat that other guy's Darkrai, and Latios!?" Bianca shouted excitedly.

"Well I guess yeah" That was only like two weeks ago, why does everybody bring that up?

"Well I see that you've all gotten to know each other a bit, how about you all see the starters"

"Sure, I already know which one I'm picking" Trip said. "I pick Snivy"

'Heh, see you later punks'

"Well I'm choosing Tepig, it's just so cute"

'Yeah, oh sorry Oshawott'

'Aah, not again' Oshawott uttered, before once again flopping sideways on his face.

"Hey how about a battle between, you and me Trip, it will be fun" Bianca said.

"Alright sure"

"Then I'll be the referee" Ash said.

Outside…

"Okay this battle is Bianca against Trip, send out your pokemon" said Ash.

"Snivy"

"Tepig"

"Alright battle"

"Tepig, use Flamthrower"

'Umm, I don't flamethrower'

"Maybe try using tackle?" Ash suggested.

"Uh alright then tackle!"

Tepig tried to tackle Snivy, but he dodged out of the way.

"Alright Snivy our turn, use tackle"

"Snivy"

Snivy tackled Tepig, and Tepig stumbled back a bit.

"Umm okay, use Thunderbolt"

'Thunderbolt, I can't even learn that'

'Heh your trainers pathetic'

'Hey that's mean' Pikachu shouted from Ash.

"Alright Snivy Vine whip"

Snivy used his vines to slap Tepig hard, and before you know it she was down, and out.

"And Tepig is unable to battle, Snivy wins" Ash called out.

*sigh* "Oh well, good battle Trip" Bianca said as she recalled Tepig.

"Yeah, you too"

'Heh, take that, always knew I was the best'

"Your Snivy's a little cocky, don't you think" Ash said.

"Yeah, it's kinda what Snivies do"

"Yeah, well good luck on your adventure, I'm gonna go become champion in two regions"

"Alright meet you at the league then" Trip responded.

Meanwhile…

'Ash, that guys the one, I know it, I must go find him, and join him too' whispered a certain white headed otter.

"Alright Pikachu, now we're all on our own, luckily we got this new pokedex, and map to guide us"

'Cool'

"You bet it is, check this out" Ash pointed the pokedex at a local Deerling.

"Deerling, the season pokemon, the hide on it's back changes depending on the season"

'Whoa, that's exactly what all the others do'

"Yeah pretty cool right"

'Sometimes I wish you could understand us'

Suddenly there was a rustling in a nearby bush.

"Oh Pikachu look, a wild pokemon, alright, get ready"

"Oshawott!"

"Thunderbolt now!"

"Pika"

'Wait wait wait, no I'm here to join you! Bzzzt, ouch'

"Wait a minute I recognize you, you're that Oshawott from Juniper's lab"

'Yeah, and I'm here to join you, so please catch me!' Oshawott pleaded.

'Oh you want to join us' Pikachu asked.

'Yeah, I've been stuck at the lab for so long, I've been craving for some adventure' the little otter responded.

"Huh seems like Oshawott wants to stay, but will Professor Juniper allow it?" Ash thought for a bit. "Well a pokemon center's not too far from here, I guess we could head there, and call her"

'Alright, let's go' I'm finally gonna have a trainer, yesss

At the Poke Center…

"Oh hello Ash, how are you doing" said Ash's mom, Delia

"I'm doing great Unova's a blast"

"That's nice to hear, have you met any new friends yet?"

"You bet, come on Oshawott"

'Finally! I have a trainer, yay'

"He sure seems excited"

"Yeah"

"So Ash, where are you headed now

"Well, I think I'll head off to Striaton city, I heard they have a gym there"

"That sounds nice, well see you later Ash, I love you"

"Okay, goodbye"

"Say it back"

"Alright mom, love you too"
