Discord was Being the DM of a Role p laying game too day in this case. Fluttershy and her brother Zephyr breeze were playing. In the game world fluttershy is flutterbat, and Zephyr was in a white suit holding a gun as Discord said, "Ok Fluttershy choice to play as vampire for the ghost powers, brother in law choice hunter. so let's play shall we simple climb the tower to find the hidden gem, before dawn. As dawn would make fluttershy's health hit zero instantly making a loss for her."
The tower was simple genetic even, the bad guys where living card board cut out ghosts Breezes gun had a dice on it twenty sided as he fired it landed on a number and that killed one ghost but the next one pushed it back, "Again this is a board game come to life the dice decided attack power Brother in law, you got twenty first one and one the second time" As he looked confused he got it. Power of gun different each shot.
Fluttershy's clutless also had a dice round that rolled as she swung sick of not cutting them she held her hand out, "Vampires count as ghosts I cast my ghost energy wave." She swung her hand out in an arc sending off one arch of Ghost energy of the same roll, it had a nine in it. This hit a lot but didn't finish them. how ever her brother's gun shots finished them allowing them to move onto the next floor.
Discord said, "Ok Fluttershy's mana lowers for using her ghost powers." he said, "your brother uses tools he doesn't have a power meter , you used nine so you have just forty one left."
The bat had hands on her hips, "...you are sleeping on the couch for that one asshole." She declared seeing a shaft, " I can fly me and my brother up through this trahs shoot to higher, That's a short cut but let me guess." she saw a thirty, "it's thirty of my mana use?" Discord then spoke up,"why yes."
Fluttershy said, "Welcome on let's fly I pay down to eleven mana." She spoke flying up with her brother to the top floor of the castle. Once there they had a painted cardboard form of a monster ghost squid green red eyes green beak. Ten limbs swinging around as it span. Fluttershy made a shocking ghost wall, "using all mana!" she declared this made two of the arms brake. "So the arms both broke, they most have HP of five!" She declared going to swing a sword but it hit one.
the brother fired rapidly at the spinning arms while ducking them, before long they had it down to six so it stopped. Discord said, "Well nice you figured it out, Switching to second attack. dawn is ten turns away."
The brother reached in to his goat to pull out something and throw it, Discord said, "breeze has used his grenade which deals ten squid down to four arms." The squid's remaining arms fired ghost rays making them jump and fly, Only for the green stallion to be hit, "Breeze's health went form fifty to ten. "
Fluttershy pointed up, "his ghosts rays deal Forty that's bullshit!" She declared throwing her sword at the things arm and Discord said, "you rolled six. and breeze's shots, Squid down to two arms switching to final attack.
The squid's arms them smashed around hitting fluttershy knocking her back, "Smash attack brings you down to one automatically," another one hit breeze as he shot. "Both of you are at one but brother boy got lucky and his dice landed on nine, Down to one arm, Only attack left is whip! which deals two damage."
Fluttershy jumped she shouldn't have thrown her sword away she had no mana left no sword no nothing to fight with, She smirked how ever, "Wait I am a ghost I can use my health for attacks, , and my it has four damage already, So I cast ghost ray!" She declared hitting the squid with green Blast, making it's arm vanished as fluttershy vanished. Discord said, "My wife's health hit zero she is out of game dawn is three turns away Squid has one health one shot from your gun wins it brother in law."
the Green guy fired it killing the boss and winning the game. Discord said, "Ok you kill the boss you claim gem you can leave. Fluttershy may have died but her party won , so victor all the same by game roles"
breeze found himself at the table while the RPG was set up Discord clapping, "very well done." So ended game night. A simple RPG of beat the boss with your powers. Not much happening here just this little filler RPG game. At least discord didn't screw around like he did in Canon.
Meanwhile in zecora's home.
She was smiling as Zane held a teady bear and hugged it tightly cuddling it while clapping and looking at this little track toy that worked it's self. Ducks went up the steps down the slide back to line while lighting up and making sound. The baby was jaw dropped staring at it hypnotized by it. Aw struck by the toy, How he saw with out eyes they did not know but he did and was loving it.
The Zebra mare smiled happily looking at it, "who's mommy's cute little ghosty wosty? she bent down to kiss his head happily.
