Last Time, Ash met Iris and her Axew on the way to Straighton City, who he splits up with when they reach it, also Team Rocket's in Unova surprise! They also head to Straighton city where they find a Snivy, after some struggling they got her down, but then Ash comes in and saves her, but Snivy fled the scene, later Ash meets up with Iris, as well as Trip and Bianca, they eat then go outside for a walk, they come across Team Rocket again who has captured Snivy, they break her out, and send Team Rocket flying, Snivy challenges Ash to a battle, and is caught in the process, making her his second Unova pokemon.
'That was the best sleep I've ever had' said a waking, Oshawott. 'This beats the cold hard floor of the pokeball'
'It's better than sleeping in a dumpster, I can say' said Snivy.
'Maybe we should wake Ash up real quick' Pikachu suggested.
Pikachu tried to wake the sleeping Ash, but it was no use.
'Hmm maybe I could' *squirt* 'Dah what was that for?' Oshawott used water gun, and wet Pikachu.
"Okay, okay, I'm up" Ash moaned, woken by the water.
'Oh, thanks man' said Pikachu.
'No problem' the Otter replied.
"Alright let's go get ready for the Striaton gym"
'Yeah!'
Ash got on his classic hat, and coat, and woke everyone else up, with mixed response.
"Five more minutes dad" Bianca snored.
Trip was already up.
Iris just punched Ash in the face, but quickly apologized.
But eventually, everyone was ready to go.
Later…
"Alright, Striaton City Gym, here we are" Ash shouted, as he dashed through the door, he rushed to the receptionist, and asked, "Can we do a gym battle"
The reception guy, then pulled out a phone, called someone, then nodded. "Alright just go behind those two doors"
Ash, and the gang went through said two doors, to find themselves in front of three dudes, and a battle field.
"Hello, I am Chili!"
"I am Cress"
"And I'm Cilan"
"Hello, I'm Ash, do you know where the gym leader is?"
Cilan spoke up. "Well actually we are the gym leaders"
"Oh, so do we have to battle all three of you?" Bianca asked.
"No" Chili responded. "You can pick whoever you want to battle, me Cress, or Cilan"
"Okay, that's neat"
"So who wants to battle first" asked Cress.
"Eh, what the heck, I'll go" answered Trip.
Trip got ready to battle, he picked Cress.
"Alright Pidove, go get him"
"Pi"
"Okay then Panpour, come on out"
"Pan"
"Pidove, Quick attack"
Pidove flew straight at Panpour knocking it back a bit.
"Panpour, water gun"
Panpour unleashed a water gun, but Pidove dodged it.
"Gust, now!"
Pidove released a gust, this time Panpour dodged it.
"Panpour fury swipes"
Panpour swiped at Pidove.
"Pidove Quick attack"
Pidove dove towards Panpour, striking it in the noggin, knocking it out.
"Oh well, Panpour return, that was a good fight, here's the trio badge, a sign that you defeated the Striaton City Gym"
"Thanks" Trip then walked back to spectator's area, to watch the next fight.
Bianca came up next, and her battle was kinda short, she picked Cilan, and still lost.
"Darn, oh well, I'll get there eventually" Bianca sighed.
"Don't worry I'm sure you will" Cilan encouraged.
"Well Ash, I guess it's your turn now" Iris said.
"I been thinking, that I wanna battle all of you, in a three v three battle"
"You mean a triple battle!"
"Against all three of us"
"Rather bold of you, I see"
"Yep, I've got three pokemon, you've got three pokemon, why not?"
The brothers then talked between themselves before coming to an agreement.
"Alright we accept your challenge, but you have to beat all three of our pokemon, without losing all three of yours" Cilan announced.
"Deal let's do this, Oshawott, Snivy, Pikachu, I choose you"
"Pansage,"
"Panpour"
"Pansear"
"Snivy vine whip Panpour, Oshawott water gun Pansear, Pikachu volt tackle Pansage"
"Panpour counter with water gun"
"Pansear dodge it"
"Pansage fury swipes"
Snivy was overtaken by the water gun, and was pushed back a bit, Oshawott hit Pansear square in the chest, meanwhile Pikachu, and Pansage traded blows.
"Our turn Pansear use incinerate"
"Uh oh everyone dodge it!"
Pikachu, and Snivy leaped out of the way, but Oshawott got caught in the blast.
"Finish Oshawott with a vine whip"
Pansage unleashed some vines, and slapped Oshawott into unconsciousness.
"Oshawott return, Snivy pursuit, Pikachu volt tackle, all on Panpour"
Panpour got rushed from two sides, knocking him out.
"Panpour return"
"Pikachu Thunderbolt on Pansear, Snivy vine whip on Pansage"
Pansage, and Pansear were then knocked out, as well.
"Wow that was something else" Trip said, impressed.
"That was so totally amazing" Bianca said excitedly.
"As reward for defeating not just one, or two of us, but all three of us, you get the Trio badge" Cilan came up, and said, before handing Ash the badge.
"Thanks" Ash said.
"No problem, I wish you the best of luck on your journey" That Ash he's something else, I have always wanted to travel, but I have to run the gym.
"Well I guess we best get heading on our way" Trip said.
"Yeah, although I still need to stay until I can defeat this gym" Bianca sighed.
"Oh well, I'm thinking about staying here for a while, I haven't had breakfast yet" Ash replied.
"Heh, you know if it's fine with you, can I join you on your journey Ash?" Iris then spoke up.
"Oh sure"
"Thanks, I want to become a dragon master, but I'm kinda struggling with that so"
"Don't worry I'm here all the way" Ash replied.
"Well see you all around then!" Chili said.
"Have a nice day" said Cress.
"Goodbye you all" said Cilan. For now at least.
Still in the Striaton City Gym…
"Still thinking about Ash Cilan?" Cress asked.
"Yeah, I've always wanted to travel, but" said Cilan.
"Well what are you waiting for then! Just go!" shouted Chili.
"Really but, what about the gym?" asked Cilan.
"Don't worry, we have everything under control" Cress said calmly.
"Yeah, go accomplish your dreams bro!" Chili said excitedly.
"Alright then, I'll go!" Cilan said. "I'm gonna go pack my things, bye guys" Cilan then ran off to the distance.
"Yeah that's the spirit!" Chili waved.
"Now we have to explain to everyone why it's called the trio badge"
"Ha, do you think he'll be alright?"
"Yeah"
With Ash, and Iris…
"Best be leaving now I guess" Iris said.
"Yeah, come on let's go" Ash said.
"Wait up!"
"Cilan, what are you doing here?" Ash asked Cilan.
"I've decided, I'm gonna go travel with you" He responded.
"That's great, now it feels like good old times" said Ash. "Alright next stop Nacrene City!"
