Last Time, Ash challenged the Strighton City Gym to a triple battle and won, getting his first Unovan badge, Trip also gets his, but not Bianca tough luck to her, Cilan inspired by Ash's bold move decides to join him to which his brothers encourage him to do so, he joins Ash, and he, Ash, and Iris head for Nacrene City.

Meanwhile with Ash, and the gang…

"I'm so glad that you came along Cilan!" Ash said. "The more the merrier"

"Oh thanks I guess, I've always wanted to travel, and now I can"

"Yeah, hold up, what's that?!" Iris said.

"It seems like a bunch of Sandile!" Cilan observed.

"Whoa, never seen these guys before"

"Sandile, the desert croc pokemon, these pokemon live buried in the sands of the desert the sand helps prevent their body temperature from dropping"

"What are they doing?" Ash asked, as the Sandile were attacking the wild pokemon, for no reason at all! Suddenly a Sandile with snazzy shades, leaped up, and snatched Pikachu, and ran away with him!

"Hey Pikachu, I'm coming buddy!" Ash ran frantically towards the sunglasses Sandile, while Iris, and Cilan followed.

'Hey what are you doing?!' Pikachu asked the Sandile.

'Taking you to safety' he answered.

'Safety from what'

'No time to explain'

"Pikachu, I'm coming"

'Get ready for a dig!' The Sandile warned, he used his feet to dig underground to his lair, taking Pikachu along with him.

"Darn it, Pikachu!" Ash cried out.

Somewhere Underground…

The sunglasses Sandile brought Pikachu to an underground area filled with other various pokemon.

'Hey boss, any left up there?' asked a Sandile.

'There are a few on the north side, but otherwise, the area's all clear' answered the sunglasses Sandile, who was the leader.

'Hey um, what are we hiding from?' Pikachu asked.

'Geysers, I'm detecting some geysers around here, and they're about to blow!' answered the leader.

'Wait geysers, but Ash, he's still up there! He could get hurt!' Pikachu shouted frantically.

'It's too dangerous for you to go back up! And we still have to go rescue some others!'

'Whatever I'm getting out of here'

'Fine, but your coming with us' Pikachu, and the Sandiles, went up to the surface to go save the trapped mons, they were all trapped on a rock that was surrounded by hot steaming geyser water.

'Drat we're too late!' the Leader said, frustrated.

'What are we gonna do!?' shouted another Sandile.

But then Pikachu got an idea. 'I got an idea, wait here, I'll get help'

"Pikachu! Where are you!" Ash called out.

"Pikapi!" Pikachu called back.

"Pikachu you're back!"

"Pika, pika pika!"

"I think Pikachu might be saying something Ash" Cilan said.

"I think he wants you to follow him" Iris suggested.

'Come on this way!' Pikachu called out.

"Alright come on let's go!"

Ash, and the gang, arrived to the north side area, to find a bunch of pokemon trapped on a rock in the middle of a geyser water filled area.

"Ah what happened here!?" Iris said.

"This must have been what those Sandiles were on about" Ash said.

"This only could've happened because of geysers, of course, only Sandiles can detect something like this" Cilan observed.

"Alright Oshawott, Snivy come out!"

"Osha"

"Sni"

"Okay guys, we gotta save these pokemon before the geysers erupt some more, Oshawott cover up the geysers with your water gun, Snivy use your vines to bring pokemon over to this side!"

'Alright then'

'With pleasure'

Oshawott kept the geysers in check by blowing back the steaming water, meanwhile Snivy got each of the pokemon over with her vines, meanwhile the sunglasses Sandile looked on impressed with Ash's leadership abilities.

'Okay that's all of them' Snivy said.

'Wait a minute, is that an egg over there?' Oshawott saw.

"Oh no, that poor egg is still stuck, Snivy do you think you can reach it?"

'No it's too far away' Snivy said struggling to reach for the helpless egg.

'Hmm okay, gang, stack up' said the Leader Sandile.

'What?'

'We need to build a bridge, so that this guy can get across, and get that egg!'

'Alright then'

'Bridge form activated!'

"What are they doing?" Iris asked.

"Why they're creating a bridge!" Cilan said surprised.

"Alright!"

Once the bridge was done Ash walked across to retrieve the egg, just in the nick of time too, as the rock was soon flooded over by more geysers.

*huff* *puff* "Whew that was something"

'Good job Ash' Snivy commented.

'That was awesome' Oshawott jumped up.

'That's Ash for you' Pikachu said.

'Hmm' said the Leader, thinking. What an interesting trainer.

"Well what should we do with this egg?" Ash asked.

"I don't know if it has a mother, I guess you can keep it Ash" Iris suggested.

"Okay I guess, welcome to the party egg" Ash said. "Oh, and thanks for your help Sandile, even though you did steal Pikachu"

'Eh whatever, sorry for attacking you, and stuff, but I should be thanking you, without your help we never would've gotten all those pokemon across' the leader said.

"Well I guess this is goodbye then" Cilan said.

'Yeah goodbye' Oshawott said.

'Farewell, I guess' Snivy said.

'No hard feelings' Pikachu said.

'This is my only line for this chapter' Axew said, breaking the 4th wall.

'Bye, bye' Sandile waved, as Ash, and the gang left for Nacrene City. For Now
