Helping Out

Arthur took Teddy back to the house. He was very proud of his son for how he handled the situation. He let Teddy know that as well. They soon arrived at home. He and Teddy filled Harry in. The dark haired wizard hugged his little brother.

"You did really well." He said.

"Thanks Harry. Can I call Jacob and tell him?" He asked.

"Yes. You have twenty minutes. You still have homework." He said.

"Okay."

Arthur and Harry chuckled at that. The redhead turned and looked at his son.

"Did you and Molly make any progress in Teddy's room?" He asked.

"No. Sam on the other hand did."

"Who?"

"The alpha of Jacob's pack. He heard what happened and came by today to check in. He saw how hard it was for us to go into Teddy's room and offered his help. He removed the carpet and tomorrow he will put a new one in. He will fix the window then too." He said.

"That's nice of him."

"It is."

"Have you contacted a mind healer yet?"

"Yeah. Teddy and I have an appointment this Saturday."

"Good. How's Bella doing?" Teddy had told them.

"She seems to be doing okay. She doesn't remember anything during the time she was cursed. She's trying to focus on her grades and getting them back up."

"That has to be tough."

"Yeah." Harry said.

"I have to go. I promised Teddy I would help him with his art project." He said.

"Okay dad. I'll be in the kitchen." He said.

(The Next Day)

Harry met Sam at his place. He let the shifter in and the man got to work. Harry went to the kitchen to make the man something to eat when he finished. Paul and Jared arrived to help. Harry found that they redid the room. They painted the walls and moved things around.

"We hope you don't mind but we figured this might help you both to heal." Sam said.

"This is perfect. Thank you." Harry said.

"You're welcome." The three smiled.

"Foods in the kitchen." He told them.

"Thank you." They quickly made their way down there.

Harry chuckled at that. It was always amusing how quickly one moved for food. He soon followed them. By the time he entered the kitchen the boys were already digging in. He smiled and began cleaning up.

After they finished eating they left. Harry then went to the bakery. He thanked Molly before going to the kitchen to see what needed to be made. The day went by quickly. Just before Harry went to leave to pick Teddy up Charlie came by.

"Oh hey Charlie."

"Hey. I wanted to see if you were free this Friday for our date." He said.

"I am." He blushed.

"Good. I'll pick you up at around six pm, okay?"

"That sounds good."

"Good." He kissed Harry and left.

"Harry?" He could hear the amusement in his mum's voice.

"I don't want to talk about it." He said and escaped.

Harry picked Teddy up and took him to the bakery. Teddy sat down at the table and began doing homework. Harry went to the kitchen. He wasn't shocked that Molly had followed him in. She made sure to leave the door open so that Teddy was in her sight.

"Still don't want to talk about it?"

"Later."

"Alright. Know that I won't judge."

Harry turned and smiled at her. "I know."

"I love you Harry."

"Love you too mum."

(Later That Day)

Harry put Teddy down to bed and went to the living room. Molly was making tea. He smiled and sat down on the couch. He accepted the cup of tea.

"Thanks mum."

"You're welcome dear. So?"

"Charlie is the first guy I liked that could make me blush."

"That's good."

"Yeah. I guess I'm kinda scared."

"That's alright dear. Starting something new can be scary, especially a relationship." She said.

"I know. I just don't have the greatest track record." He said.

"That's true. Sometimes we have to go through a lot of toads before we find our prince."

Harry snorted. "Says the woman that found her prince when she was thirteen."

"True." She smiled. "Doesn't make what I said untrue."

"I know. It helps that Charlie treats me differently than the others." He smiled.

"He sure does. I like that." She smiled back.

"Me too."
