Last Time, a swarm of Venipede were causing a ruckus down in Castelia City, so Ash, and the gang, plus Burgh, stopped them, and found out why they were acting this way, turns out it was those Team Plasma guys again, so they go, and fend them off, Ash catches one of these Venipede, and gains his 4th Unovan pokemon, meanwhile Burgh leaves Castelia City to help the Venipedes rebuild, but in his absence Team Rocket takes the chance to invade!

"Team Rocket what are you doing here?!" Ash asked the invading Rockets.

"That's none of your business" said a tall man, in a militaristic suit, he had brown hair, but not all to much of it, this was Giovanni "We have other things to do, grunts, take them out" The man then flew away in his flying stand.

"Roger that!" The grunts sent out some Ekans, and Raticate.

"Oh no you don't!" A familiar voice said. "Servine! Use Leaf Tornado!" It was Trip, he was here too!

"Ser Vine!" The evolved pokemon blasted the group of evil pokemon with a Leaf Tornado.

"Trip you're here! Alright then, Snivy come out!"

'Huh? What's going on?'

'Oh hey there my unevolved counterpart'

'Ugh, it's you again'

"Alright! Servine, Leaf Tornado again!"

"Snivy, use a Vine Whip!"

'Alright cutie'

'Don't call me cutie'

Servine blasted some more pokemon, and Snivy slapped some pokemon into unconsciousness.

'Great job guys!' Pikachu complimented.

'Thanks, I knew I could do it'

'Just shut up, mind helping out Pikachu?'

'Heck yeah!'

The three mons took out all the Rocket's pokemon, but then Giovanni returned.

"Ugh, do I have to do everything by myself, fine, Persian, do your worst"

'I haven't gotten a good battle in ages'

"Okay, Venipede come out!"

'Here I am! Oh that's a big cat!'

'Hmm a weak bug, I expected something else'

'Hey! Fine I'll show you!'

"Venipede, use Rollout!"

Venipede did so, hitting the Persian three times, before coming to a stop, Persian retaliated with a Shadow Claw.

'Um, should we be helping out?' Snivy asked.

'Nah, the first battle's always the most important, can't have it spoiled' Pikachu replied.

'I mean I guess' Servine said.

'Grr, how are you so strong? That's it' Persian used a Fury Swipes, but Venipede dodged, and used a Poison Sting, poisoning the big cat pokemon.

"Persian return, very well, I guess I'll have to send reinforcements, Rockets attack!"

A stupendous amount of pokemon filled the streets as all the Rocket grunts sprang into action.

"Uh oh! There's way to many of them" Ash said.

"Looks like this is the end" Trip said.

A flurry of attacks came hurdling towards the defenseless trainers, but before they hit, another flurry of attacks countered them.

"N!"

"Ash" Iris said.

"Sorry we couldn't make it, but we're here now!"

"Hello Ash, seems Team Rocket has finally arrived" N said.

"Why if it isn't N, I've heard much of you" Giovanni said.

"Yes, Giovanni, you, and Team Rocket have no business being here, and for that we must defend this world, from you! Grunts, attack!"

Now it was looking like a real war.

"Quick catch Giovanni, or else he'll destroy this place"

"But we can't just leave you guys here"

"Don't worry Ash, we'll fight with them" Iris reassured.

"Just try to stop Giovanni!" Cilan said.

"I'm coming with you, just in case" Trip said.

"Alright fine, let's go!"

Ash, and Trip, and their mons, chased after Giovanni, else he do something very bad.

"Tranquill! After him!" Trip sent out his Tranquill, who chased after Giovanni.

"Oshawott, get up there with Aqua Jet!" Ash sent out Oshawott, who Aqua Jetted up to Giovanni, who was now making some evasive maneuvers, Oshawott landed on Tranquill, and they both followed Giovanni, meanwhile, Ash, and Trip were trailing behind.

"Tranquill, keep flying closer"

"Oshawott, try to knock him off with water gun!"

The otter tried to knock Giovanni off, but he kept dodging, eventually Giovanni decided to do something about it.

"Missile, I need your assistance"

"Roger sir, I'm coming right now"

Soon enough Missile flew over to the scene.

"Missile! It's you" Ash said.

"Who?" Trip said, he never met Missile.

"Why if it isn't Ash Ketchum, you may have beat me last time, but now you don't have N with you"

"Even then, we can defeat you"

"Yeah, yeah whatever, Eelektross, thunderbolt" Missile sent out his Eelektross, who zapped Tranquill, and Oshawott out of the sky, both of which plopped fainted next to their trainers.

"Take a good rest Oshawott"

"You too Tranquill"

"Okay Venipede, let's go"

"Timburr, come out!"

"Eelektross, use Flamethrower"

"Timburr, Brick Break"

"Venipede Rollout!"

Despite their best efforts, Timburr, and Venipede were no match for Eelektross, being overpowered by Flamethrower, they both fainted, without even landing a single hit.

"But how?" Trip said, shocked.

"He's too powerful" Ash said.

"Don't feel sorry, no one beats me"

"Apart from N about a week ago"

"Don't mention that!"

"Go, Rufflet!"

"Uh, Frillish, I guess"

"Rock Smash"

Again, Eelektross swept the floor with them, which was weird since Frillish is immune to Rock Smash.

"That all you got?"

"Grrr, Snivy come out!"

"Servine, your turn"

"You're making this too easy, Flamethrower" Servine got engulfed in flames, but Snivy dodged.

"Finally, okay, use Pursuit!" Snivy slammed into Eelektross, finally hitting it.

"Huh, finally something that doesn't go down in one hit, Flamethrower"

'Ugh, how did I get defeated, but you survived?' Servine said, mostly to himself.

"I don't have any more pokemon" Trip admitted.

"It's okay, just get outta here, this could get ugly"

Snivy dodged, the second Flamethrower, but she couldn't get a hit in.

"I must admit that your Snivy is very resilent" Just like her, come to think of it, this one reminds me a lot of her, even the way she uses Pursuit, could it be? No, that's ridiculous.

"Grr, keep going Snivy!"

'I won't give up! Not now!'

"Flamethrower, again!" All these Flamethrowers had gotten to Snivy, she was way too tired to dodge now, and she was finally downed.

"Darn, okay fine, Pikachu"

'Was wondering when you'd call me'

"Pikachu, Iron Tail!"

"Eelektross Flash Cannon!"

Eelektross shot a Flash Cannon, but Pikachu swiftly dodged, and slammed it using Iron Tail, the strength of it, causing Eelektross to stumble.

"Finally a worthy opponent, Flamethrower"

"Dodge, and use Thunderbolt"

Pikachu dodged the Flamethrower, and used a Thunderbolt, even with the type resistance, Eelektross got hit hard.

"Hmm, Okay, use Rock Smash, and then Flash Cannon"

"Pikachu, dodge!"

The rapid moves hit Pikachu, sending him flying, but he was still fine.

"Pikachu! Are you okay?"

'Eh, Yeah'

"Alright then, Volt Tackle!"

Pikachu Volt Tackled Eelektross, it was getting real low now.

"Use Iron Tail!"

Pikachu slammed his tail of Iron into Eelektross' forehead, it then collapsed on the ground, fainted.

"Hmm" Missile simply said. "Heh, good job, but you missed one key part"

"What key part" Ash asked, not too long afterwards a building exploded, and out came Giovanni, he was holding a glowing crystal of some sorts.

"That key part"

"Good job Missile, our job here is done, calling all Rockets, we got what we needed, prepare to retreat" Giovanni then left the scene.

"Roger!" The Rockets minus Missile left too.

"Until next time, Ash Ketchum" Missile then flew off to who knows where.

"Ash!" Cilan then shouted from a distance.

"We saw an explosion over here, what happened?" Iris asked.

"Giovanni, he stole some sort of glowing crystal, and flew off, after he blew up that building over there" Ash pointed to a smoldering pile of rocks were a building once stood.

"Uh, what about Missile?" Trip then asked.

"He uh, swept my team, but Pikachu managed to beat him in the end"

"But what could Giovanni be using that crystal for?" Iris asked.

"I don't know, but me, and Team Plasma will figure out, and stop him from whatever evils he's planning to do with it" N replied.

"Okay, good luck N" Ash said.

"Good luck to you too" N then left.

"We'd better tell Burgh about this, and heal up" Trip then said.

"Yeah, let's"

With Team Rocket…

"Well I must say, you have exceeded my expectations" Giovanni said to the classic Rocket trio. "Thanks to you, we were able to have a completely successful mission"

"Does this mean we get a promotion" The Rocket trio asked.

"Hahaha, No, however, you do get a new assignment"

"Oh, and what would that be" Meowth asked.

"I want you to go find some new, and exotic pokemon for me"

"Yes sir!" The trio said, they then left to go find some.

"Sir can you tell me what my new assignment is?" Missile then said.

"Oh, yes, I was just glad to see those three buffoons leave, their map was terrible, I mean look at this" Giovanni showed a terrible map of Castelia City, it had a terribly drawn Meowth picture in the bottom corner. "Anyway, I want you to go spy on Ash Ketchum"

"But why now?"

"I was not made aware of his presence, and he is way more of a threat to me then Team Plasma, just think about it, that little boy can raise pokemon strong enough to beat legendaries in only a few months, he is a force to be reckoned with, so I want you to give me every single move he makes, and if need be, well you know what to do"

"Okay, fine" Missile then rocketed out of there, this new assignment was gonna be very, very, interesting…

By the way if any of you are confused as to why Venipede suddenly joined the party, I changed it so that she was captured last chapter, it was originally gonna be in this chapter, but putting in the last chapter would've just been better.
