Last Time, Ash, and Trip have their first battle against each other, and Ash dominates Trip, beating his evolved pokemon, with just Snivy, and Oshawott, Ash gets some more attention, and Trip gets jealous, and then makes it his life goal to become better than Ash, and starts by heading straight to Nimbassa City, but we're not going there just yet, Ash decides to explore, while Iris, and Cilan are doing something, I don't what but they're doing something, what will happen next? With Iris, and Cilan, just after Ash left to fight Burgh…

"So Cilan, while Ash is battling, what should we do?" Iris asked.

"Well, as a pokemon connoisseur, I know all about the connoisseur world, why I'm pretty close to being an S rank connoisseur, which is the highest, and most prestigious, rank of them all!" Cilan replied.

"Okay, but how does that decide what we're gonna do for the next two hours?" Iris said.

"Oh it doesn't, I just wanted to talk about it"

"Your kidding right?"

"Nope, I really have no idea what to do"

"Well I do, we're going to the beach!"

'Yay the beach' Axew shouted excitedly.

"Well alright I guess, let's go!"

Meanwhile with Ash after his, and Trip's rival battle…

"Man I wonder what Iris, and Cilan are doing" said Ash.

'Yeah, me too' Pikachu said.

"But more importantly, I'm wondering when I'm gonna eat next"

'Yeah, that too'

"Well Pikachu, how about we grab some grub!"

'Ah heck yeah, now your talking!'

Ash, and Pikachu then went to the local mall, to go eat at a local restaurant, at the local mall, they ordered some food, and sent out everyone to go eat too.

'Oh man, there's so much food!' Oshawott shouted, unable to control his excitement.

'Good job on evolving Whirlipede' Snivy complimented the bug.

'Thanks! Facing off against that Scolipede was pretty hard, but I still managed!' Whirlipede said.

'Auntie Snivy, what's evolving' Rufflet asked, confused, she had never seen anyone evolve before, and definitely never evolved herself, Auntie Snivy explained the process of evolution. 'Wow! I wish I evolve soon, imagine the look on Axew's face when I'm way bigger than him'

'Hahaha, that will be interesting to watch'

'Um, hey Uncle Oshawott, have you ever wanted to evolve?' Rufflet asked.

'Wha, oh, well yeah I have always wanted to evolve, but I decided that I wouldn't evolve until I found true love'

'You really wanna learn Hydro Pump huh?' Snivy smirked.

'Haha, that's a good one Snivy, that's a good one, hahaha!' Pikachu said howling in laughter. 'Uh, no offense'

'None taken' Oshawott said.

Ash, and his mons, ate up, and decided to go somewhere else, they spotted a little place in the mall, that had a huge line.

"Whoa, what's happening over there?" Ash asked Pikachu.

'I don't know, how about we find out!'

"Alright let's go!" Ash then got in the extremely long line.

"Hey sir, do you know what this line's about?" Ash asked.

"Well there is a new connoisseuse in town, and she's well, she's something else"

"A connoisseuse huh" Ash had heard about them from Cilan, him being a connoisseur himself.

Ash waited in line for a while, and eventually it was finally his turn.

"Come in, come in" said a snooty voice, Ash walked inside to find a purple haired girl, yeah this is where Burgundy gets introduced.

"Hi, I'm Ash, Ash Ketchum, nice to meet you"

"Burgundy, and nice to meet you too, and that Pikachu's quite rare over here in Unova, where'd you get it?"

"I got Pikachu here as my starter, all the way back when I was traveling in Kanto"

"Psh, yeah right, Pikachus aren't given out as starters"

"Well, I was a bit late to get my starter, and Pikachu here was the only one left"

'I didn't listen to him for a whole day'

"Yeah, that was first day was pretty rough, especially with Pikachu disobeying, and stuff"

"Hmm, well I've evaluated, and I must say you, and your Pikachu have had a terrible relationship"

"Wait what!?"

"Yep, you two have been fighting since day one"

"I said he didn't listen to me on day one, we're good now"

"Well, I still gotta say that Pikachu is still unevolved, and thus is incredible underpow-"

"Pikachuuuuu!" Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt at Burgundy showing how incredibly underpowered he was.

"Dah, Pikachu is also rude, and disobedient"

"He isn't so rude if you speak the truth"

"Well whatever, just show me another one of your pokemon!"

"Alright, Whirlipede, come out!"

'Hi there!'

"Ugh, a bug type, everyone knows these are useless"

"Hey no pokemon is useless"

'Also that was mean' Whirlipede said.

"Your Whirlipede also has the pitiful ability of Swarm, Poison Point would be much better"

"I'm not abandoning her, or any pokemon for that matter"

"Don't even get me started on it's smell"

"Whirl!" Whirlipede then used Rollout on Burgundy, trampling over her.

"Whirlipede, also is way too heavy!"

"What does that have to do with anything?!"

"I don't know, or care, send out another one"

"Whirlipede return, alright Snivy, come out"

'I can tell this isn't gonna end well, and I just came out' Snivy said.

"Hoho, Hmmm, yes, this Snivy is incredibly uptight, and is an anti social worm, with no life what so ever"

'Excuse me!?'

"Now for the taste test"

'You wouldn't' Burgundy for some reason tried to lick Snivy, but like any reasonable pokemon would do, she slapped the heck out of Burgundy.

"You're Snivy also has no respect for my tongue!"

"You shouldn't make them angry if you don't want to be hurt"

"Whatever, those were just flukes! Give me another"

"Alright, Snivy return, Oshawott come out"

'Hi there!'

"It's way too dumb to battle good, you should just throw it in the trash"

'Throw me in the trash!? I'll show you who to throw in the trash!' Oshawott unleashed a water gun at Burgundy, making her hair wet.

"Your Oshawott, is also a massive jerk!"

"You literally called him trash, no pokemon's trash"

"Just show me your next pokemon! I swear I'm right!"

"Do you wanna see this one?"

"Yes"

"Do you really wanna see this one?"

"Yes"

"Like seriously, she's kinda rough"

"Well, more the reason for me to evaluate it"

*sigh* "Alright, Oshawott return, Rufflet come out"

'Hi I never seen you before!'

"It's way too young, and naive, there's no way it can battle"

"Hey she was only hatched a few days ago"

"And you should replace it with a full grown Braviary instead, this one will never become one"

'Grrr, you're a meany!' Rufflet being a little baby, also meant that she had no limits, and just hopped on Burgundy, and started pecking, and Fury attacking her.

"Ah get it off! Get it off! Get it off!"

"Rufflet return"

"Well Ash Ketchum, you and your pokemon are a total train wreck, I recommend giving up on your dreams, and releasing all of your brutish pokemon.

"I wouldn't say that" a certain green haired man said, no it's not N.

*gasp* "You!"

"Hey, Ash, some people said you were in here, speaking of which, why are you here?" Iris asked.

"Well, I wanted to see how this how connoisseur thing worked, and it didn't go very well"

"Cilan, so we meet again" Burgundy said.

"Huh?" Cilan said.

"Remember me? I was that trainer a few months back who you beat with your stupid Pansage, and you insulted me, and my Oshawott"

"Oh I remember you"

"Yeah, and you told me that day, 'You, and your Oshawott are a hideous abomination of a Team, you should give up on your dreams, and never return, muhahaha!'"

"I never said that, all I said was that you needed to train more, that's all"

"And train I did, I went back to challenge you, but then you were gone, so I headed to Castelia City to set up shop, and now we meet again, so now I challenge you to a rematch!"

"A rematch?!"

"Yeah, You vs. Me, I'll show you this time!"

"Well, alright then" Cilan agreed to battle Burgundy.

"I'll be the referee" Ash called.

Ash, and the gang, got outside, and Cilan, and Burgundy sent out Dwebble, and Dewott, respectively.

"Alright, battle Begin!"

"Dewott use Razor Shell"

"Dodge, and X-Scisscor" Dewott used his two scalchops, to slice at Dwebble, but he dodged both, and retaliated with X-Scissor.

"Water gun, now!"

"Dodge, and X-Scissor again" Dewott shot at Dwebble, which hit, but due to Dwebbles large defense, it didn't do much, Dewott then got hit by X-Scissor, resulting in a knock out.

"Dewott is unable to battle, Dwebble wins!"

"Grr, alright, Dewott return, Sawsbuck, go get them"

"Dwebble return, go Pansage!"

"Why are using pokemon with disadvantages?!"

"I just wanted to give you a chance"

"Sawsbuck, Megahorn!"

"Dodge, and counter with Bullet Seed" Sawbuck used Megahorn, but missed, and Pansage released a barrage of Bullet Seeds.

"Sawsbuck, use Jump Kick!"

"Charge up Solar Beam!" Sawsbuck Jump Kicked Pansage, but missed again, and Pansage charged up Solar beam, before releasing it, and knocking out Sawsbuck.

"Sawsbuck is unable to battle which means, Cilansaid, and Pansage win!"

"Darn it, Gah"

"Hey Burgundy, are you alright?" Cilan asked.

"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine"

"Oh okay"

"You know what, I think I'm gonna try to beat you"

"Well okay"

"Yeah, and I'm gonna start traveling too, so I can become stronger, and beat you one day!"

"Okay then good luck"

"Yeah, I'm gonna beat you one day, mark my words!" Burgundy then ran off, presumably to beat Cilan, one day.

"Well, that was something else" Ash said.

"Yeah, you know it's getting kinda late" Iris said.

"Your right, we should probably get to bed" Cilan said.

"Yeah, after today we gotta start heading to Nimbassa City after all" Ash said.

"Alright then, let's go!"
