Last Time, Ash, and the gang are still going to Driftveil City, they stop for lunch, but in the middle of it two Deino come, and crash the party, a guy named Bobby comes, and apologizes, before Iris asks to help him with the Deinos, Ash reluctantly agrees, and Iris, and the gang, helped Bobby out in his daycare, Iris notices a shy Deino, and talks to it, Deino is very shy, but ends up making friends with Iris, lunch comes around, and Iris invites Deino along, he gets head butted by his brothers, and collapses on the ground, Iris decides to help Deino get stronger, eventually Deino does, and gets more confident too, when his trainer comes by to pick him up, Deino decides to stay with Iris, to which his trainer is okay with, Iris then catches Deino.

With Team Rocket…

"So this is Driftveil City huh?" James said, dressed in a T-shirt, and shorts, with a pair of sunglasses.

"Seems like they're selling Moomoo Milk" Jessie said, dressed with a T-shirt, beige pants, and a sun hat.

"Mmm, I could use sum Moomoo Milk" Meowth said, with a hat, sunglasses, and another T-shirt.

"Don't get distracted, we have stuff to do" Missile said, wearing just a T-shirt, and a black leather jacket.

"What are we doing again?" James asked.

"We're scouting out the shrines, remember?" Missile reminded them.

"Oh right, but where do we look?" Jessie asked.

"Rumor says they live somewhere near here, no doubt the people know where they are" Missile explained.

"So we just ask the folks around fer info?" Meowth put together.

"Yes" Missile said, there was a short pause. "Well what are you waiting for? Go!" Missile ordered, the Team Rocket trio scrambled away, Missile went to ask folks.

Back with Ash, and the gang…

The gang took another break, and a heated battle between Sandile, and Oshawott was taking place.

"You got this guys!" Ash cheered.

'Go! Go! Go!' Rufflet cheered.

'Yeah' Deino said, trying to be enthusiastic. 'Go, and stuff'

'Take this!' Oshawott used Razor Shell, Sandile got struck, but retaliated with Crunch, which hit Oshawott, and hurt a lot.

'That all you got?' Sandile taunted, before going underground, Oshawott went on guard.

Sandile came rushing from under Oshawott, causing the otter to get Crunched from below.

'Dah!' Oshawott shrieked, he jumped up, before flopping to the ground, fainted.

'Haha! I win once again' Sandile showboated, Whirlipede, and others congratulating him.

'Beat again, doh, I can't win!' Oshawott said suddenly angry.

'Don't be sad' Sandile said. 'You're not the only one! Hahaha!'

'Why I oughta!' Oshawott said, anger fuming up inside him. 'I want a rematch!'

'Want to get creamed again, fine! Bring it!'

Oshawott got out his scalchop, and went for it, but was stopped by some vines, they picked him up, and Sandile too, keeping them away from each other.

It was Servine, obviously. *sigh* 'When will two grow up?'

'What do you mean? I'm already grown up' Sandile said. 'It's Oshawott you should be worried about'

'I've gotta pin cushion you now!' Oshawott scrambled.

'See?' Sandile said.

'You're both immature, Oshawott you gotta stop being ticked off at every little thing, and Sandile you need to stop being so high, and mighty, and actually be nice for once' Servine lectured.

'Psh, I've done plenty of nice things' Sandile said.

'Like what?'

'Well I helped Oshawott find his scalchop'

'Nice things that you didn't have to do?'

'Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' Sandile said, unable to think of anything nice he did, just cause. 'Well, it's not like Oshawott's got anything either'

'That's no excuse, if you saw a pokemon beating up other pokemon for fun, do you think you have the right to do the same?'

'I guess not'

'Ha!' Oshawott said. 'Take that!'

'And you Oshawott, you're not exactly a little angel either' Servine continued.

'How come?' Oshawott asked.

'Well, you're almost always fighting with Sandile'

'It's not my fault! He keeps insulting me!'

'Yeah, he does, but if you controlled your temper, you wouldn't fight so often'

'But he just keeps doing it!'

'Then ignore him, why does his opinion of you matter so much?'

'Well, I um' Oshawott said, unsure why he wanted to become better than Sandile.

*sigh* 'If two keep squabbling like this, you're not gonna get very far' Servine let them go, Ash, and the gang were still standing there, wondering what Servine was talking about, since they can't understand pokemon.

"Well that was something else" Cilan said.

"Looks like Servine calmed things down though" Iris said.

"Yeah, let's just finish eating, and then we can continue" Ash said.

Sandile went off to the forest for a nap, and Oshawott decided to train, so went to the forest too, Sandile found a nice sandy area to sleep in.

'Ah now to sleep, now with that annoying Oshawott gone, I can finally be in peace' Sandile said, digging in the sand for a quick little nap.

'Alright, alright, let's get training' Oshawott said, rushing on top of where Sandile was sleeping, he used Aqua Jet, digging up the sleeping croc.

'Wah!' Sandile said, being flung out of the ground, and onto Oshawott.

'What the!' Oshawott freaked out, running around in panic.

'Oh stop it! Stop it! It's me Sandile!' Sandile explained, Oshawott calmed down, before throwing the croc off his face.

'What are you doing here?!' Oshawott questioned.

'Taking a nap! What are you going here!?' Sandile said.

'Training! Why do you gotta alway be where I'm at!?'

'I was not, you just came where I was sleeping!'

'Well whatever! I was gonna do some training, all you wanted to do was sleep!'

'Fine! How about we settle this with a battle!?'

'Fine!' Oshawott used Fury Cutter, a new move! Sandile got hit, but retaliated with Stone Edge.

Oshawott gets hit, he comes back with a Fury Cutter stronger than before, Sandile came back with Crunch.

Oshawott uses Aqua Jet, but misses striking a sleeping Amoongus instead.

'Uh oh' Sandile said.

'Whoops' Oshawott said.

'Grr, didn't your mother ever tell you to never wake a sleeping Amoongus!' Amoongus said furiously.

'Sorry, it was all Oshawott's fault'

'No it wasn't you started the battle!'

'To which you agreed'

'Shut up! It don't matter, you both made me angry' Amoongus got ready to shoot out a Toxic, he fired, and Oshawott, and Sandile closed their eyes, expecting to get hit, but strangely they didn't, when they opened up their eyes, they saw that Servine had taken the hit for them.

'Leave them alone' Servine said, wincing in pain.

'Or what?'

'Or face my Aqua Tail!' Servine used Aqua Tail on Amoongus, causing it to stumble a bit, Amoongus went for a Feint Attack but missed, Servine came back with a Swagger, and Amoongus then tripped, Servine then wrapped her vines around it, and threw it off into the trees.

'You saved us' Sandile said.

'Yeah, if it weren't for you, we would have been poisoned' Oshawott said.

'Thanks, but' Servine winced in pain, being badly poisoned meant she got more, and more poisoned as time went on.

'Uh, let's get you back' Oshawott suggested.

'Yeah, let's' Sandile agreed.

Sandile, Oshawott, and Servine headed back to camp, Servine getting weaker each step, eventually having to lean on Oshawott to stay standing.

"Alright, let's find Oshawott, Sandile, and Servine, and we can go" Ash said.

"Uh, Ash, I don't think we have to" Iris said, pointing to the three emerging from the forest.

"Looks like they're coming back right now" Cilan said.

"Wait, but something's wrong" Ash said, he ran to them, only to find that Servine's been poisoned. "Servine! What happened?"

'I, ugh' Servine got even worse, collapsing onto the ground.

'We uh, accidentally woke up an Amoongus' Oshawott explained.

'It tried to use Toxic on us, but Servine took the hit for us' Sandile elaborated.

"Ash, it seems that Servine's been badly poisoned" Iris observed.

"Badly posioned pokemon get worse over time" Cilan said. "Truly a deadly recipe"

"Do we have any antidotes?" Ash asked.

"No, we've run dry" Cilan said. "The nearest pokemon center's in Driftveil, I'm afraid Servine can't make it that far"

"Hmm, I wonder if there's some Remeyo weed growing around" Iris then said.

"Remeyo weed, what's that?" Ash asked.

"It's a plant that can cure poison, it usually grows around deep seabeds" Iris explained.

"Hmm, hey Cilan could you check if any of it is growing around here?"

"Uh, yeah sure, it seems that some is growing in the forest" Cilan said.

"Great, then we could go get some" Ash suggested.

"Not so fast, the only place that grows it is in an underground cave" Cilan said.

"Well I'm sure we can handle it, Sandile could dig underground, and Oshawott can swim under" Ash said.

'Well I mean' Sandile said.

'We would but' Oshawott said.

The two looked at Servine, who had gotten worse yet again, she had Emolga, and Whirlipede helping her to a tree.

'She did save us from that Amoongus' Sandile said.

'We would've been poisoned without her' Oshawott said.

"So you guys are gonna come?" Ash said.

'Yes, we are!' Sandile said.

'She saved us, now we gotta save her' Oshawott said.

"I should come along too Ash" Cilan said. "You're gonna need some help carrying it all back"

"Alright, we're gonna go off and get some Remeyo weed, you guys take care of Servine!" Ash said running off with Cilan, Oshawott, and Sandile.

"Well I guess we better take care of Servine" Iris said to the rest of the pokemon.

'Yeah, let's go take care of Auntie Servine' Axew said.

'So she can better!' Rufflet said.

'Yeah, we gotta do what we can' Emolga added.

Meanwhile with Ash, and Cilan…

"Alright this is the place" Cilan said.

"Now we just gotta get the Remeyo weed" Ash said.

'Alright, I'll dig first' Sandile said.

'How come you get to go first!?' Oshawott said.

'Because I can dig!'

'You saying I can't dig!'

'Who dares come here?' A distant pokemon said.

"Whoa what was that?" Ash questioned.

"Don't know, but we better look out" Cilan said.

'Grah!' It was the Amoongus from earlier, it jumped down from a tree. 'Ah, I remember you two, you woke me up! And then your friend came in to save you, did you come here to heal her from her poison?'

'Well yeah, how'd you guess' Oshawott said.

'I poisoned her you idiot, and this place is the only place with Remeyo weed in the whole forest!' Amoongus said.

'Why do you want to stop us from heal her anyway?' Sandile asked.

'Duh, revenge! Also because Remeyo weed is tasty, and I want to keep it all to myself, and my kin'

'Wait you have a kin?' Oshawott asked.

'Yeah, speaking of which, Foonguses come out!'

Out of the trees came out a lot of Foonguses, Ash, Cilan, Oshawott, and Sandile, were surrounded.

"Uh oh" Ash said, unsure of how to get out of this mess.

'Foonguses attack!' The army of Foongus shot out Absorb.

"Dodge it!" Ash ordered, Oshawott, and Sandile jumped out of the way. "Now counter attack!"

Oshawott, Razor Shelled a bunch out, and Sandile Crunched a few as well.

"Great job Ash" Cilan complimented.

'Fine! I'll do it myself!' Amoongus Feint Attacked Sandile, which hit, and sent him back.

Oshawott used Fury Cutter on Amoongus, doing some damage. "Whoa Oshawott you learned Fury Cutter"

'Yeah I did' Oshawott said, but he soon hit by Amoongus' Mega Drain, undoing all his hard work.

Sandile got up, and used Crunch, Amoongus used Mega Drain again, but Sandile dodged.

Oshawott went in for a second Fury Cutter, which Amoongus dodged, he shot a Toxic, but Sandile dug under Oshawott, and pulled him underground.

'You saved me' Oshawott said, shocked.

'Only because taking this guy one on one would be too tough' Sandile said, although really he didn't want anyone, even Oshawott to go through Toxic's effects.

'But how are gonna take this guy out? His Mega Drain's too strong' Oshawott asked.

'Hmm, I don't know' Sandile admitted.

'Wait, I've got it!' Oshawott said. 'Just follow me'

"Where's Oshawott, and Sandile?" Cilan asked.

"I don't know" Ash replied. "But we got a bigger problem on our hands!" Amoongus decided to attack Ash, and Cilan instead, it got ready to fire Toxic but then Oshawott popped out of the ground, Sandile was holding him.

'Hey there!' Oshawott taunted.

'Ah there you are' Amoongus shot off a Toxic, but Sandile pulled Oshawott down, they then dug behind Amoongus, and Oshawott popped out again.

'Hey over here!' Oshawott called, Amoongus looked over only to get squirted with Water Gun, this continued, with Oshawott, and Sandile gradually whittling down Amoongus with no chance for it to retaliate, soon enough it was down.

"You guys did it!" Ash said.

"What a unique recipe you two have just made" said Cilan.

'Yeah, I guess we did' Sandile said. 'I guess you're not as dumb as I thought'

'And you're kinda nice to work with' Oshawott said.

'Truce?'

'Truce'

Sandile dug into the cave of Remeyo weed, and Oshawott dove in, and snatched a handful, Ash, Cilan, Sandile, and Oshawott, came back to camp.

"How's Servine doing everyone" Iris asked the pokemon who stayed behind.

'She's getting pretty weak now' Excadrill said.

'I hope the others come back soon' Emolga said, worry filling her voice.

"We're back!" Ash's voice called from the distance.

'We've got the Remeyo weed!' Oshawott called.

'Let's get Servine healed already!' Sandile said.

"Great work guys" Iris said, Sandile, and Oshawott gave the Remeyo weed to Iris, she mixed it up into a drink, and headed over to Servine.

*groan* Servine was barely hanging in there, Iris gave her the drink, and Servine started getting better, she opened her eyes, and everyone celebrated.

'You're alive!' Emolga cheered, going in for the hug, Axew, and Rufflet joined her.

'Uh yeah I guess I am' Servine said, patting their backs.

'I guess you're a pretty cool dude' Sandile said.

'Yep, and you're kinda nice' Oshawott said.

'Ha, is it Oshawott, and Sandile getting along?' Servine said. 'Have I really been cured, or have I passed on, and this is now heaven?'

'Nah, we're cool now' Oshawott said.

'Yep, even though Oshawott's still weak, we're cool' Sandile said.

'Why you?!'

Servine sighed. 'Some rivalries never truly end, do they?'
