Last Time, Ash, and the gang stop for lunch again, Sandile, and Oshawott have another argument, Servine lectures them, they then run off to the forest to do stuff, they end up running into each other, and accidentally wake up an Amoongus, they're about to get Toxic in their face, but Servine swoops in, and gets poisoned instead, she defeats Amoongus, but is really sick, they all go back to base, and Iris says they need Remeyo weed to cure the poison, since they ran out of antidotes, so Sandile, and Oshawott agree to go get some with Ash, and Cilan, they run into that same Amoongus, and his army of Foonguses, but with the power of teamwork, Oshawott, and Sandile defeat them all, and get some Remeyo weed, they then go cure Servine of poison, but their rivalry still lives on.
"Driftveil city, here we are!" Ash said, as he ran into the city.
"I heard this place is the only place in Unova with Moomoo Milk" Iris said.
"A splendid drink from a splendid beautiful pokemon" Cilan said.
"I wouldn't say beautiful" Iris said.
"I could go for some Moomoo Milk" Ash said. "I haven't had a taste in years"
"Well I guess we could do that" Cilan said.
"And grab a snack too" Iris added.
So Ash, and the gang got some food, and a side order of Moomoo Milk, meanwhile Team Rocket were finishing up their plans.
Team Rocket were trying to destroy Tornadus', and Thundurus' shrines, which were located on Milos island, not too far from Driftveil.
"James, how is Thundurus' shrine going?" Missile asked, he was on a transceiver, the Rocket Trio were on them too.
"Going pretty good, it's all covered in bombs" James responded.
"And Jessie, is Tornadus' shrine covered?" Missile asked.
"Yep, Tornadus' shrine is all covered up" Jessie responded.
"Perfect, get over here, and we can blow them to smithereens" Missile said, Jessie, and James ran back to him. "Meowth blow em up"
"Alright" The cat said, he was standing next to Missile, he clicked the button, nothing happened.
"Where's the boom?" Missile asked.
"I don't know the remote detonator ain't woiking" Meowth said.
sigh* "Give me that" Missile snatched the detonator from Meowth, and inspected it. "This is a light switch"
"Oh, it is?" Meowth said, scratching the back of his head.
"Did anyone make sure to bring a remote detonator?" Missile asked, there was a moment of silence. *sigh* "If we head back to base now, it'll take too long, and people will start to get suspicious"
"Can't we just light a match or something?" James asked.
"Do you have a match?" Missile asked.
"Well, no"
"Any other ideas?"
"I got some really long wires we could connect to the shrines" Jessie suggested, bringing out a really long wire.
"Fine, but make it snappy" Missile said. "We haven't much time"
"Alright!" Jessie, James, and Meowth then got the really long wires, attached it to the light switch, and started connecting them to the shrines.
sigh* "No wonder these idiots never stole that dang Pikachu"
Meanwhile back with Ash, and the gang…
"Mmm, that was delicious" Iris said.
"Truly a scrumptious meal" Cilan said.
"Yeah it was, and now I'm all full" Ash said. "I guess we can head to the gym now"
Ash, and the gang headed to the Driftveil City Gym for Ash's 5th Unova badge.
"Hey do you know where the gym leader is?" Aah asked a gruff looking man.
"You're looking at him" It was Clay of course.
"Oh sorry"
"Well don't be, I'm too busy to accept your challenge anyway"
"What!? Why?"
"I've got a lot of work to do, and if I don't do it, then this place will be in shambles"
"How long do you think it'll take for you to get it all done"
"About a month, give or take"
"Oh come on" Ash said, dissapointed.
"Well we could always just go to another gym" Cilan suggested.
"I guess, well it was nice while it lasted, come on let's go" Ash said, walking away.
"Wait, kid" Clay said suddenly. "If you do something for me, I could make an exception"
Ash turned around. "What is it?!"
"Well, I've run dry on Revival Herbs, and can't get anymore, there's an island near here that grows them, the only place in Unova, it's called Milos island"
"Thanks Clay, we'll get your Revival Herbs in no time" Ash thanked.
"Good luck kid"
Ash, and the gang headed over to Milos island, and Team Rocket were still trying to get that wire connected.
"Milos island, here we are" Ash said getting off the boat.
"Now we just gotta find some Revival Herbs" Cilan said.
"Maybe we should ask around" Iris suggested.
Ash, and the gang asked around, and eventually found a guy named Lewis.
"Revival Herbs? Yeah I know where to find some, me, and Gothorita can show you" he said.
"Really? Thanks" Ash said.
"Yeah, come on it's just this way" Lewis, Ash, Iris, and Cilan headed to where Revival Herbs grow which happened to be in the forest where the shrines where.
"Say how did Revival Herbs come to grow here anyway?" Iris asked.
"Yeah, Revival Herbs aren't very common in the world, nor are they native to Unova" Cilan said.
"Well I guess I could tell you the story, it's a little long though" Lewis said.
"It's fine we'll listen" Ash said.
"Alright, long ago Milos island was only inhabited by a few villagers, it was pretty boring there, until Tornadus, and Thundurus arrived, and began wreaking havoc"
"Thundurus, and Tornadus, who's that?" Ash asked.
"Those guys are part of the forces of nature, Thundurus controls lightning, Tornadus controls wind, and Landorus controls the Earth"
"Oh, what happened next?" Iris asked.
"Well, Tornadus, and Thundurus were unstoppable, no one could beat them, so a shrine maiden, and her Gothita called for Landorus' help, he came, and tried to stop the two, but was no match for them both, crippled, and on the ground, the shrine maiden gave him a Revival Herb to heal him, the Revival Herb reinvigorated him, giving him the strength to banish them both, afterwards he blessed the land in fertility, and Revival Herb seeds"
"So that's how Revival Herbs came about" Cilan said.
"Yep, today we have three obelisks that keep Thundurus, and Tornadus from returning, and one to Landorus for worship, me, and Gothorita pray there everyday so that Milos island will be fertile, and prosperous for all of time"
"Wait a minute what's that?" Ash said, he saw the two obelisks, but they were covered with explosions from Team Rocket,
"Huh? Wait, those are the obelisks, what are all these bombs doing here?!" Lewis said distressed.
sigh* "I should've known we'd run into trouble" Missile was flying above the scene.
"Missile what are you doing here?!" Ash asked.
"And why have you covered the obelisks in explosions?" Lewis asked.
"Simple, to destroy them of course"
"You wouldn't, those obelisks keep Thundurus, and Tornadus away from here" Lewis explained.
"Exactly, so if they're destroyed, they will arrive, and then we can continue with our plans"
"Plans for what" Ash asked.
"That's a secret" Missile said.
"Hey if you already have the explosions set up, then why don't you detonate them already?" Iris asked.
"Well we were going to an hour ago, but we got the wrong detonator" Missile said, showing Ash, and the gang the light switch.
"Is that a light switch?" Cilan asked.
"Yes, it is, blame Meowth, not me"
"Well, you can't blow those obelisks up!" Ash said. "Those are important!"
"Well if you want to stop me, then you can try, but it won't be easy"
"Okay, Pikachu, Volt Tackle that switch out of Missile's hand!"
"Mienshao stop him" Pikachu dashed towards Missile, but got blocked by Mienshao, who had just came out of it's pokeball.
"Mienshao, Payback"
"Dodge it!"
Despite Pikachu's speed, he got hit with Mienshao's Payback, getting flung back.
"Pikachu Thunderbolt"
"Hi Jump Kick"
Pikachu Thunderbolted, and hit Mienshao, who jumped up at Pikachu.
"Dodge it!" Pikachu dodged Hi Jump Kick, which meant that Mienshao would take recoil damage right?
"Poison Jab the floor"
Mienshao stuck it's arm thingies into the ground stopping it from careening into stuff.
"What?! You can't do that!" Ash said surprised.
"Why not?" Missile taunted.
"Doh, okay, I don't wanna do this, but because this is so urgent, Rufflet, Oshawott come on out!" Ash sent out Rufflet, and Oshawott.
"What's this? A two v. one, Ash Ketchum you scoundrel this isn't fair" Missile said, shaking his head.
sigh* "Come on guys we gotta stop Missile from blowing up the place" Ash said.
"Okay!" Everyone else said.
"Well fine, be like that, Gothitelle I'm gonna need your help" Missile sent out Gothitelle.
Another battle was brewing.
"You two stall, keep them from getting the remote, er light switch" Missile ordered.
"Everybody, try to get it out!" Ash shouted, Pansage, Dwebble, Deino, Excadrill, and Gothorita were brought out.
Oshawott shoots a water gun at Missile it gets tanked by Gothitelle, who fires a Thunderbolt, that Oshawott narrowly dodges.
Dwebble used X-Scisscor on Gothitelle, but it didn't do much, a Hi Jump Kick from Mienshao sends him flying away.
Rufflet attempts to steal the switch from above, and succeeds, she passes it to Pikachu, who starts running with it.
Gothitelle sends out a Shadow Ball which knocks the switch out of Pikachu's mouth, it catches it with Psychic, but Lewis' Gothorita counters with Psychic too.
Mienshao, Paybacked Gothorita, which made it so Gothitelle could snatch the switch back, Rufflet Wing Attacked Mienshao, doing some damage.
Not for long though as Deino Bites it, and causes it to drop it, Excadrill Drill Runs over to the switch, and tosses it to Pansage.
Pansage runs like a monkey, causing Gothitelle, and Mienshao to miss all their attacks, Missile decides to get in on the action, and swoops in, and snatches it.
Missile then flies away, Pikachu fires a Thunderbolt, Missile dodges, Pansage's Solar Beam also misses.
Gothitelle, and Mienshao decide to take out their foes, so they start attacking, Mienshao's Stone Edge takes out Rufflet.
Gothitelle uses Thunderbolt on Oshawott, doing some hefty damage.
Ash returns Rufflet, and replaces her with Sandile, Sandile uses Dig on Mienshao, and Oshawott goes for a Fury Cutter, hitting Gothitelle.
Mienshao gets off a Hi Jump Kick on Excadrill, doing massive damage, it is followed up by Gothitelle's Brick Break, also doing massive damage to Excadrill.
"Come on you dolts, finish up the wire already" Missile said to himself, at this point Dwebble was knocked out, and so was Excadrill.
"This fight's gone on for so long" Ash said.
"We gotta get one of his pokemon down" Lewis said.
"But who?" Iris asked.
"Well, Gothitelle's got a lot of weaknesses we could exploit, Mienshao, not so much, if we all target it, we could do some much needed damage" Cilan said.
"Alright, let's all target Mienshao" Ash said.
"Alright!"
Oshawott, Sandile, Pikachu, Pansage, Deino, and Gothorita all targeted Mienshao, with all their attacks, overwhelming it, and knocking it out.
"Great, just great, will you three hurry it up already!?" Missile shouted angrily into his transceiver.
"We're trying, we just got intercepted by a Sawsbuck!" Meowth said over the transceiver. "Ah! It's coming!"
sigh* "Whatever, Gothitelle Teleport" Gothitelle teleported itself, the fainted Mienshao, Missile, and the light switch to Landorus' obelisk.
"Where did he go?" Ash asked.
"I don't know" said Lewis. "But we better look out, if those obelisks get destroyed then Thundurus, and Tornadus will wreak havoc across the land"
Meanwhile with Missile...
"Here eat this" Missile handed a Max Revive, a flipping Max Revive, to Mienshao, it ate it up, and was fully healed. "Take a good rest girl" Missile returned Mienshao.
'What now?' Gothitelle asked.
"We wait for those idiots to finish up" Missile answered.
After Missile lost Snivy, he decided that he wouldn't let it happen again, his pokemon were like, his family, his family that he never had, he would never let them go, NEVER.
"Missile!" A voice called out.
"Oh great" Missile saw that Ash, and the gang had managed to track him down.
"You better stop right now!" Ash said.
"Or what? You'll kill me with the power of believing in yourself?" Missile taunted.
"These obelisks are protecting the world from being destroyed" Lewis said. "If they're gone, Thundurus, and Tornadus will destroy everything!"
"Not if we control them first" Missile said back.
"But they can't be controlled, they're the forces of nature" Lewis said.
"Fool, Team Rocket is a force of nature, we control the fate of the world, and we shall rule it with an iron fist, soon all of Unova will face the wrath of forces of nature"
"And how are you so sure?" Ash asked.
click* *BOOM!!!* "Because they're already here" Missile had just blown up the shrines of Thundurus, and Tornadus, a storm was brewing, pun intended, what will happen next? Find out next time!
