Hi. It's good to see everyone again, here is Chapter 9.
(This is a recap from the last episode)
Exceed Charge!
A low red light came from the phone and went to the right leg, until it made way for the flashlight. When the light and the flashlight made contact, the flashlight glowed. Michael then jumped and did an air summersault and the flashlight glowed and a red energy drill appears and was near the Gorilla's chest. Michael then did a flying side kick and entered into the red drill. The drill hit the Tortoise.
Michael then came back after his kick, in a red figure for a couple of seconds. A Phi symbol shows up on the Tortoise's chest and the Tortoise Orphnoch turns to ash.
Michael then began to lose consciousness, and the Sol Foam and Sol Metal armor begins to disappear as lasers and back into the belt.

Episode 9: Intertwined Threads
Kikuchi Cleaners
"So, Michael-kun passed out after he defeated an Orphnoch?" Keitaro asked. He and Mari were having a briefing on today's battle. They were sitting across from each other, with Keitaro sitting on the couch and Mari sitting in the chair.
"Yeah. But, before that Orphnoch came, there was another one. A female to be precise, that Michael went crazy on. By crazy, I mean he went full out insane," Mari said.
"On a scale from one to a ramen noodle bath design, how insane are we talking about?" Keitaro asked.
"I think between a 32, if the ramen noodle bath design is a 50," Mari said.
"Is he ok? Is he going to live?" Keitaro asked.
"He's asleep," Mari said, as she annoyingly sighed.
"That's good. Thanks goodness," Keitaro said with a relived smile.
"But why did he go berserk on that female Orphnoch?" Mari asked.
"Maybe, it had something to do with the future," Keitaro assumed.
"Probably. Could it have something to do with that girl?" Mari wondered.
"What girl?" Keitaro asked as he leaned but forward on the couch.
"The girl that Michael befriended before he met me. Just why is he with her?" Mari wondered.
Kiba's Apartment
"Wait a minute…you didn't tell Michael about your sister in a coma?" Kiba asked.
"Yeah. I don't know why he went…crazy…maybe she killed Michael's sister," Yuka replied.
"Sister?" Kiba asked.
"Michael's sister was killed, but he wouldn't tell me how. Could she have been killed by an Orphnoch?" Yuka assumed.
"I'm not sure. Let's talk to him," Kiba requested. "Plus, I have to deliver some clothes to the cleaners anyways."
"I'll do it! I mean…I can do that for you," Yuka said nervously.
"Are you sure?" Kiba asked.
"Don't worry, it's just giving laundry for a person to clean it, right?" Yuka asked.
"I guess so. Have you seen Kaido lately? I haven't sense him," Kiba asked.
"No, I haven't sensed him either," Yuka replied.
"Just where could that guy be?" Kiba wondered.
Smart Brain
"Naoya, I'm surprised you want to work here. However, there are no empty vacancies," Murakami, in his Smart Brain suit outfit, talking to Kaido, who was stilling wearing his causal outfit.
"There's always a but," Kaido said cocky.
"You read my mind. I will consider you an assassin. Though not in the Lucky Clover, I think I can work something out," Murakami added.
"How?" Kaido asked.
"Steal the Faiz Belt," Murakami replied. Then, Murakami's phone rang, and Murakami picked it up. "Yes? Oh, I see. Ok, I'll be right there."
Murakami then hung up the phone.
"That was the Lucky Clover. It seems that they have an Orphnoch we haven't seen in a while. Think about my offer," Murakami said, as he left his office, leaving Kaido passionate even more about his Orphnoch powers.
Kikuchi Cleaners
Meanwhile, Yuka reached her destination at the cleaners. Yuka was wearing a purple shirt and her white threaded buttoned up shirt. Yuka took looked inside through the window, and she saw that no one was there. Yuka decided to come back later, if anyone was there. As Yuka turned to leave, Keitaro ran to the cleaners.
"Oh. Are you a customer? Sorry, I was out for a bit. They're for my friend. He's in bed," Keitaro apologized as he reached the cleaners. Keitaro was wearing black pants and a white sweatshirt with a hoodie.
"Don't worry, it's okay," Yuka said.
"Please come in," Keitaro requested. As Keitaro looked at Yuka's face, he recognized her. "Oh, it's you!"
Yuka looked a bit confused.
"Do you remember me? For when you dropped your cell phone?" Keitaro asked (Cue Overtone by VideoHelper; 0:00-0:28, 0:43-0:52, 1:02-1:17), which made Yuka then started to remember, and, for the first time in a long time, she smiled.
"Oh yeah, that time," Yuka said as she recollected.
"And that other time where we were attack by that monster, and you had a snack with us," Keitaro added.
"Yeah. Thank you for that," Yuka thanked Keitaro. Yuka and Keitaro then went inside, and Yuka deliver the laundry to Keitaro.
"Wow, this is really a coincidence. I never thought I would meet you again," Keitaro said. Keitaro then handed to clipboard to Yuka. "Please sign here."
"Okay," Yuka said. Yuka then signed her name, but only her last name, Osada.
"Osada Yuka-san right? I've properly received your items," Keitaro said. "Please leave it to me. I'll put my heart into cleaning these."
"Please take care of them," Yuka said politely. Yuka then turned to walk out of the cleaners.
"Oh, and please be careful," Keitaro warned her, which caught Yuka's attention. "There's been a lot of deaths lately."
"Thank you," Yuka said, as she left The cleanings with a smile.
"Yuka-san, huh? How nice," Keitaro said to himself.
Playground
As Yuka got far away from the cleaners (End Track), Yuka stopped and thought back at the experience.
"What just happened? Why.. did I smile?" Yuka asked herself. Yuka then saw Kaido doing push-ups near a playground. Kaido was hasn't changed his clothes. Yuka then politely walked towards him. After doing another push-up, Kaido turned to see Yuka.
"You again? What do you want this time?" Kaido asked. "Did Kiba asked you to check up on me again?"
"You're wrong. I was just walking around and saw you, that's all," Yuka explained. "It's not my fault that you and I were close, in terms of location."
"Why you," Kaido muttered. Kaido then threw a punch, which then a wing from Yuka's back hit Kaido in the face. Kaido fell on the ground touching his face. "Ow. Ok, that hurted."
"Um…hurted is not a word, you know," Yuka corrected him.
"It feels more natural though," Kaido said. "Anyways, just leave me alone. I don't have time for you anyways."
Kaido then turned and a jumped playground fence.
"Where are you going?" Yuka asked. Kaido turned to Yuka.
"I'm going to meet with someone," Kaido said. Kaido then turned and walked away again.
Kikuchi Cleaners
Back at the cleaners, Keitaro turned to see Michael fall down the stairs, and ran to get him.
"Michael-kun, what are you doing?" Keitaro asked.
"Let me go. I have to help Osada-san," Michael said.
"Osada-san? You mean the one I just met? That's the girl you're talking about?" Keitaro asked.
"Yes, and when you saw me as Faiz for the first time, why didn't you notice?" Michael asked.
"Well, I was shocked that you're a hero, and I couldn't take my eyes of the battle," Keitaro explained.
"I'm no hero. I'm just someone who's not supposed to be here. But, I guess it's too late now," Michael said.
"What are you saying? You risked your life. How does that not make you a hero?" Keitaro asked. Michael then got up and walked out of the cleaners drowsy. Keitaro ran outside after him. "Hey!"
But, Michael couldn't hear him.
Clover Bar
At the clover bar, a fist hit Sawada, in Orphnoch Form, in the face. The punch came from Takuma, who was in his causal outfit, who looked very angry.
"What are you trying to do?" Sawada asked.
"You disappear from our sight for 3 months and now you're back? I know Murakami would approve, but I can't allow outsiders," Takuma said.
"At ease, Takuma," Murakami ordered as he walked down stairs of the bar. "Sawada, it's been a while."
Sawada then transformed back into his human form, which was the young man from the bus massacre.
"Don't worry, I didn't come to fight," Sawada said as he began to leave.
"I wasn't looking for a challenge," Murakami said, stopping Sawada. "I know we're full in the Lucky Clover, but you have been doing your kills very well. Saeko told me the details."
"I am the observer," Saeko, in her bartending outfit, said with a smile.
"Let me offer you a deal. You take the Faiz belt, I will give back you're humanity," Murakami compromised.
"I've already lost my humanity because of you," Sawada said as he blamed Murakami.
"Well, I can't control what you do…I can only control on what I can do," Murakami said. Sawada then left the Clover Bar. Takuma looked at Murakami with confusion. "Not to worry. I'll send you if he needs a poem. Just be patient."
Murakami then left the bar, with Takuma looking disappointed.
Saitama Keyaki Hiroba
Near the stadium, at a sunset, Mari was walking by herself. What she didn't know was a man in a black suit, with glasses, was following her. With the Smart Brain pin on his handkerchief pocket, it's possibly from Smart Brain. The Man in Glasses then transformed into the Scarab Orphnoch. Except he wasn't gray nor white, he was rather light brown. The Scarab was stop as Michael got in the way. The Scarab's human form then appeared in his shadow.
"Who are you supposed be?" The Scarab asked. Michael lifted the right side of his black jacket, which had the Faiz belt.
"Yo," Michael greeted. The Scarab then did a jab punch, and missed. Michael then kicked the Scarab in the back. As the Scarab turned, Michael had vanished.
"Grandfather said this once, if you grasp fate in your hand, you'll be able to make your wish in reality. That is why I fight. Even though I wasn't supposed to be here…I will…protect people's fate," Michael said as he reappeared from behind a plaza tree. "Once you're back in hell...you'll be dealing with the devil."

Michael then transformed into Faiz. The Scarab then generated a rapier and began to fight Faiz.
Beautician Salon
(Starlover Memory by VideoHelper plays in the store; 0:00-1:04)
Mari enters in the a beautician salon, so she can get a job. She was nervous, as she thought her dream will never come to reality. A middle-age woman guides Mari to a desk, and they both sat down in chairs, separate from each other. Little did. Mari know, that this woman was Yuka's mom, Kana Osada.
"So, you're the girl who wants to work here? How do you like our store?" Kana asked.
"Yes, I do want to work here…and I think it's a beautiful store," Mari replied with compassion. "My mother was also a hairstylist before she passed. I always admired her elegant motions when she cut my hair as a child."
"Is that so? Good," Kana said. "How many minutes does I take you to do a winding?"
"I think I usually do it about 30 minutes," Mari replied
"It's slow, but it's a start," Kana said. "We want people who have the drive to do well. The people who are really trying to become beauticians."
"So, what do I do then?" Mari asked.
"Try to aim to at least 20 minutes," Kana suggested.
"Yes, ma'am," Mari said.
"Please, just call me Kana… everyone does," Kana suggested. "Why do you want to become a beautician anyways?"
Mari was silent, as she was trying to think of response. Kiba was walking by and noticed Mari through the salon.
"That girl.." Kiba said.

Saitama Super Arena
The Scarab was strong with his rapier, and was thinking that he will win. Michael caught his rapier, and threw the Scarab on the ground. Then, Auto Vajin came and shot bullets from his wheel-like shield, but hit Michael and Scarab, but Michael dodged it. Auto Vajin then landed on the surface, and Michael came running towards it.
"Hey! That was dangerous! You almost hit me!" Michael explained. Michael then pushed the Auto Vajin off of the railway,
Vehicle Mode!
Auto Vajin then transformed back into his bike form. Michael then jumped the railway, and walked closer to the Auto Vajin, as the Scarab got up. Michael then grabbed the left handle and took it out, which became a lightsaber.
(Insert Dead or Alive by Shinichi Ishihara; TV Size)
"Sorry George, but I'm going to have to use this," Michael said. Michael and the Scarab then continued their fight, sword versus sword. It was like the lightsaber battle of Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader.
It all ended when Michael jabbed the Scarab Orphnoch, which sent the latter flying. Michael then took out the mission memory and inserted it into the lightsaber.
Ready!
Michael then pressed the enter button.
Exceed Charge!
The Scarab Orphnoch got up and walked towards Michael, who then does a slash, which fries an anti-gravity pulse along the ground. Michael then charges towards the Scarab. The puls caught the Scarab and levitated him off the ground and in the air, with the pulse becoming a cylinder of energy. Michael did two slashes, the first right, and the second upward left, executing his Sparkle Cut slash. The second slash killed the Scarab, as he de-levitated on the ground. The Faiz symbol flashes behind the Scarab Orphnoch, who is cut in half, as he turns to ash.
(End Insert Song)
"I never realized how powerful this thing was," Michael said. Then, Kaido, as the Snake Orphnoch, came leaping to punch Michael. But, Michael was able to catch Kaido's fist.
"You never learn, do you?" Michael said. Michael flipped Kaido over, but Kaido manages land on both of his two feet. "What are you trying to do?"
"Hand over the belt," Kaido demanded.
"Great, you too? Just what I needed," Michael said sarcastically. "Tell me…why do you enjoy this power?"
"Humanity sucks. That's all," Kaido said.
"That's it? Honestly, that is the most blandest answer I've ever heard," Michael said.
"Ok, how about this?" Kaido said. "Ever since my hand got ran over, life sucked. Maybe if I work with Smart Brain…then I'll get my talent back!"
Kaido then shouted as he charged at Michael.
"You," Michael said. Kaido then punched Michael in the metal chest, which sent him flying into the railway, releasing the belt from him, and de-transforming into Faiz. As Michael hit the metal railway, he lost consciousness, again.
Kaido grabbed the belt, and smirked.
"Well…mission accomplished," Kaido said, as he walked to the bike mode of Auto Vajin, got on, and rode off.
To Be Continued
And we are back to me talking. That was Chapter 9. I made some changes in this take on Faiz. First, is the beautician salon. I'm keeping it because it is Mari's dream, and I want to keep that. And I added Yuka's mom to the salon because I wanted Yuka to plan an important role in the story. Plus, I didn't want Yuka's past forgotten. Because, if one character is gone, they are never mentioned again except the first half of the next episode. They had to have some impact to the characters. That is why Kuuga is my favorite Tokusatsu. We had characters that experience some infleunce of trauma. Mika is a huge example from this, because, at the first episode, her father was killed by the leader of the Gurongi. She goes through a mini character arc to get over her father's death. She's a huge example of actions influencing others. I hope people who watched or currently watching Kuuga will feel the same way.
Reviews:
Toa Solaric: Thank you. It's good to hear you after a while. And for that vision, for those who've seen the series, you'll probably know what I'm talking about.
Guest: I won't spoil. And if it is ok if I say this, please don't spoil the series for the people who haven't seen it. I'm just saying, I don't want stuff given away about the series.
Fun Fact: Did you know that Kamen Rider was planning to be adapted for a third time? Saban, who produced Masked Rider (I do not want to talk about that), had the rights to the Decade and Shinkenger crossover. It was planned to be called Power Rider. However, it was disbanded in January 27, 2014.
Thanks for reading, and if you have any ideas for the series, you can leave a review or Private Message me. See you next time, or later if you Private Message me. Bye.
