Michael then opened the phone, pressed the enter button, and closed the phone.
Exceed Charge!
Morishita then got up and ran towards Michael, who then does a slash, which fries an anti-gravity pulse along the ground, which also . Michael then charges towards the Morishita. The pulse then caught the Armadillo and levitated him on the ground, with the pulse becoming a cylinder of energy.
"Chie," Morishita said. Michael then did two slashes, the first right, and the second upward left. The second slash killed Morishita, as he de-levitated on the ground. The Faiz symbol flashes behind Morishita, as Morishita, the Armadillo Orphnoch, is cut in half as he turns to ash.

Episode 17: The Enigmatic Rider
Kikuchi Cleaners
It was a stormy night at the cleaners, and Keitaro just cooked dinner for Michael, Mari, and himself, and sat down on the table's chairs.
"So, Mari-chan, you're going to search for this Kusaka Masato person?" Keitaro asked.
"Yeah. I had it on my mind for a couple of days, I feel like I can't ignore it," Mari said, as then a thunder cloud rumbled loudly, which caught the three off guard.
"What kind of person is he?" Keitaro asked.
"Well...I haven't seen him in a long time..." Mari stated. "When we were together at the Ryusei School, he was a real coward and always got bullied. That was probably due to his asthma. Saya tried to help him, but the bullies from the Ryusei School wouldn't listen. In the end, I always saved him."
Mari remembered the time when Kusaka was bullied by Inukai and Arai, his and Mari's classmates, by the artwork of the classroom, and Mari saved Kusaka by hitting her bag at Inukai and Arai.
"I don't think it's a good idea," Michael said.
"Why?" Keitaro asked.
"Keitaro...Michael and I need to talk in private," Mari said.
"But it's raining out," Keitaro stated.
"Just go in your room, and put in earplugs if you have them," Mari said. Keitaro did as he was told, as he walked into his bedroom.
"How long are you going to stay stuck on that prediction of Kusaka killing Osada-san?" Mari asked. "Kusaka's not like that."
"Do you know the later?!" Michael asked loudly. "Kusaka was there at the reunion, and he remember what happened at the Ryusei School. And originally, you and your classmates didn't."
"And why do you think that happened?" Mari asked.
"Well..." Michael said. "I screwed up!"
"What are you talking about?" Mari asked.
"Me becoming Faiz, telling you that Osada and Yuka were the same person, meeting Keiko early," Michael exampled.
"I'm going to stop you right there to ask one question. What happened and where is Keiko?" Mari asked.
"Ask Osada! She was the one who got the anti-body," Michael snapped.
"You...need to take it down," Mari said. "I don't want to fight."
"That's what everyone does here, and did originally, they fight. No communication at all," Michael said.
"I understand that you're upset, but why do you want to keep the future the same for me?" Mari asked.
"Because...you're important to this fight," Michael explained. "I only tell the future to specific people. Those who are not associated with Smart Brain, some police, or friends of yours and their relatives."
"So you want to change the future for those specific people...but not us?" Mari asked.
"Fate can't be changed," Michael said.
"Are you sure?" Mari asked, but Michael was silent.
Kiba's Apartment
Kaido was looking out in the window, while it was raining outside.
"Kaido-san..." Yuka said softly. "It looks like he's really angry."
"What gave you that idea?" Kiba asked as he was sitting in the right chair (the couch's right).
"Ever since I came back after Morishita-san's Orphnoch killing spree...he hasn't said even one word to me," Yuka explained. "All I asked was if he gave into the Orphnoch power. 'Does he enjoy it is what I asked."
"Did something happened?" Kiba asked.
(Cue Journey Thru the Cosmos by VideoHelper)
"Morishita-san seem to loose himself after he found out you killed Chie," Yuka said. "I don't understand how he doesn't feel sympathy after killing people. Even I when I kill people...I feel sympathy."
"Are you asking why do people give in to the Orphnoch power?" Kiba asked, as Yuka nodded yes.
"How did you resist the desire?" Yuka asked.
"I don't know...but...maybe it's because I didn't feel sad," Kiba theorized.
"Then why did I resisted if I was sad?" Yuka asked.
"I think when Michael befriended you, you resisted," Kiba added on to his theory. "Not to make you unconformable, but I have to ask...do you have a crush on him? And please be honest."
"Well..." Yuka stuttered. "Yes. He was my first friend. Plus, he's been very kind to me. But...I went on a date with Kikiuchi from the dry cleaners."

"Nothing's permanent, you know," Kiba said with a smile. "Why didn't you just confess your feelings?"
"I tried to...but I got interrupted the first time, but I didn't have the courage to do it the second time," Yuka said. "I want to confess...I really do have feelings for him."
University
Michael, Mari, and Keitaro, were at a university that Kusaka attends. There were trying to find him so Mari could talk to him on the reunion. Keitaro looked at the list of students that attended at the university.
"Kusaka…Kusaka…" Keitaro said as he was reading for Kusaka's name, until he found his name. "Found him! Kusaka Masato."
"Second year, class A…fencing club," Mari read.
"That's not all…he's also in charge of…tennis and horseback riding," Michael added. "Don't ask me, I don't know why."
A student then passed Michael and walked to the receptionist table.
"Excuse me. A bike fell on my car, and I can't leave," The student said.
"Ahh…What kind of bike is it?" The receptionist asked.
"Well…it's not very cool-looking…" The student described.
"Hey…isn't that your bike?" Mari whispered.
"Technically it's yours. I just borrowed it," Michael said, as Mari gave Michael a really look. "But I'll take the blame."
Outside
"I'm sorry!" Michael apologized, to the student, and took the handles of Auto Vajin. "How did it end up like this? Sorry!"
Gymnasium
"Salute!" The fencing coach shouted, and the student raised their swords to their foreheads, then raised them in front them. "En garde!"
The students then started to practice dueling moves, while other students were dueling other students with their fencing helmets on. Mari and Keitaro walked into the gymnasium, and Mari looked around for Kusaka, while Keitaro went to the fencing coach.
"Excuse me, we're looking for a Kusaka Masato," Keitaro said to the coach.
"He's not here yet," The coach said. "He's in three clubs, fencing included. Try finding him at either tennis or horseback riding. If you still want to wait here…he'll be at fencing in about an hour and a half. His tennis session is almost up."
"Thanks," Keitaro said as he walked to Mari. "So…Kusaka-san isn't here yet. Do you want to stay until he comes?"
"No," Mari replied. "Let's look around at the tennis and horseback riding clubs."
Both Mari and Keitaro nodded as they went to look for the two clubs.
Tennis Court
Michael walks to a tennis court, and sighs and starts to feel nostalgic.
"Jasmine...I wish you were still here," Michael said in sorrow. But, his nostalgia was broken when he saw a tennis ball coming towards him, but Michael caught it in time before it hit him.
"Sorry about that," said one of the tennis players with a white cap. "It seems the balls are moving too fast today."
"You're..." Michael said, but the tennis player didn't quite hear Michael. Michael then took a tennis racket and a tennis ball. Michael then threw the tennis ball and hit it with the tennis racket. But, the tennis ball didn't go to the other side of the net, it went bounced next to Michael. Michael then turned to the tennis ball.
"Sis made this look easy," Michael commented as he put down the tennis racket and walked away.
"What was that about, captain?" The opposing tennis player asked.
"Who knows?" The white cap tennis captain replied. A young horseback riding girl walked to the tennis court.
"Captain! It's time for our practice," The young horseback riding girl said to the tennis captain.
"Alright! I'll be there soon," The white cap tennis captain said, as he handed his tennis racket to one of his tennis teammates. The captain then took out a cleaning wipe and wiped his hands with it.
Kiba's Apartment
"Alright!" Kaido shouted, which caught the attention of Kiba and Yuka. Kaido then turned to the two of them. "After two months of solitude...I've made a decision. I will live as a human. Live as a human, and fall in love. Love...Love...Love...Come on!"
Kaido quickly grabbed Yuka by the wrist, as he was walking towards her during his monologue. Kaido ran out of the door, while holding Yuka's wrist, leaving Kiba confused.
"What was that about?" Kiba asked.
"K-Kaido-san! Wait, where are we going?" Yuka asked, as Kaido was running while he was grabbing her wrist, not trying to hurt her.
"A date, a date! For a date, the first thing is..." Kaido explained, as he pointed at an outdoor restaurant. "Tea!"
5 minutes later...
Yuka took a sip of a sip of her tea.
"How is it? Good?" Kaido asked.
"Yes," Yuka responded. "For my first tea, it's good than I expected it to be."
"Okay! Drink it, quickly! Quickly!" Kaido ordered, and Yuka drank her tea very fast, until she finished it. "Alright! Next place!"
8 minutes later...
"Where are we going next?" Yuka asked, as Kaido was still grabbing her wrist.
"A park," Kaido replied.
Park
Yuka was on one of the swings and Kaido pushed Yuka, so the swing can get higher.
"How is it? Fun?" Kaido asked.
"Y-Yes!" Yuka replied.
"Okay!" Kaido shouted like he sneezed. "Wait a second, it's toilet time for me."
Kaido ran to a toilet stall so he can used the restroom.
"Please, stop it!" A feminine voice called out, which caused Yuka to turned to see robbery with two young men. One with a backwards cap and a yellow sweatshirt, and the other, with a winter cap, a goate, and a white sweatshirt.
"Come on, just hand it over already!" A young man in a cap and yellow sweatshirt demanded to a literal 7-year old girl. Yuka remember who that girl was. It was Keiko.
"Careful...I bite!" Keiko snapped.
"Stop it!" Yuka demanded as she ran into the robbery. Keiko's eyes widen when she recognized Yuka.
"You...you're that bird lady," Keiko said in realization.
"Go!" Yuka demanded, and Keiko did as she was told.
"What the hell's with you?" The yellow sweatshirt asked. "And why did she called you bird lady?"
"Yeah. Are you going to be her substitute?" The goatee white sweatshirt asked.
"Hey. Say something," The yellow sweatshirt demanded.
"What's the matter? Not going to say anything?" The goatee white sweatshirt asked, as Yuka then gave them both a death glare.
A few minutes later
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Kaido apologized as he finished going to the bathroom, as he saw Yuka was still on the swings, unaware on what happened when he gone. "Okay! Let's continue the date!"
"Okay!" Yuka said, as Kaido grabbed her wrist and took her to the next location. What Kaido didn't notice, when Yuka was gone, was that two sweatshirt thieves, who were now ash, behind the bushes.
Horseback Riding Area
Michael was walking around the campus, still feeling nostalgic.
"Wow, this campus is ridiculously large," Michael commented to himself. "Jasmine would've loved to go here. Her and Jacob probably."
"You again?" Asked a voice. Michael turned to see the white cap tennis captain, in horseback riding clothes, on a horse.
"Hey…weren't you in the tennis club?" Michael asked.
"I'm in charge of many clubs," The captain explained. "I want to test my capabilities."
"Well, don't get kicked by a horse and die," Michael commented as he began to leave.
"Wait a moment," The captain called out, which made Michael turned to him once more. "You've got a smart mouth. It's best if you fix that. Lose it."
"I'm just making sure you don't get killed," Michael said, but he quickly hid his true feelings about this person. "You're Kusaka Masato…aren't you. And you're in charge of three clubs,"
"That's right," The captain admitted. "How do you know?"
"I'm friends with Mari, and she wants to talk to you. And for the clubs thing…I read it in the clubs list," Michael explained.
"Tell her I'll meet her after fencing," Kusaka suggested. "We have a lot of catching up to do."
"Very well," Michael said as he turned to walk away.
"Captain!" A voice called out, and Kusaka turned to see a male fencer. "It's time for our practice!"
"Alright! I'll be there soon," Kusaka said, as he got off his horse and took out another cleaning wipe.
"See you then!" The fencer said as he walked to the fencing club.
Ryūsei School Bus
The three surviving Ryūsei School students from the attack from the Crocodile Orphnoch, Mr. J, were having a talk about the belt.
"This Belt…if we can't use it…" Rina said. "it might be a good idea to give it to the Orphnoch."
"Don't be a fool," Kyosuke said. "Father entrusted this to us. It was Father's wish for us to have this!"
"But Haruko said she saw father as an Orphnoch, so possibly…" Rina said, she stopped when she turned to see Haruko stood up. "Where are you going?"
"I can't take much more of this," Haruko said. "I need to go outside."
Haruko opened the door of the bus and paused.
"Sawada," Haruko said. "I want to see you. I want to know what happen."
When Haruko took a few more steps, the bus door closed, and Haruko turned to see Mr. J, already transformed into the Crocodile Orphnoch.
Restaurant
"How was it? Was it good?" Kaido asked, as he held the door for Yuka.
"Yes!" Yuka responded, as she stepped out of the door. "Kaido-san. Why did you infinite me here?"
"Oh that? That was a practice rehearsal," Kaido explained. "I…have a girl I like. This was the practice rehearsal for the real date. Well…bye."
Kaido then ran off, and Yuka turned to see him leave.
"Oh thank god," Yuka said as she relieved, because she already had someone she liked.
Ryūsei School Bus
Rina got off when she realized that Haruko had been gone for a long time.
"Haruko?" Rina said, but there was no answer. "Haruko?"
Still no answer.
"Is this a message for you being scared? What's going on?" Rina asked.
"What is it?" Kyosuke asked, as he got off the bus to Rina.
"Haruko's not answering," Rina explained, as she then to see what did belong to Haruko. Her glasses. But her glasses had drops of blood on them. "It can't be."
"Haruko…" Kyosuke said. "Her fear was a possibly reason for her passing."
Rina tapped on Kyosuke's shoulder.
"What?" Kyosuke asked as he turned to see Haruko's killer.
University
Michael, Mari, and Keitaro regrouped after the latter two went around the other 2 clubs for Kusaka.
"Any luck?" Mari asked.
"Yeah," Michael replied. "He said he'll meet us after fencing."
Before Mari could say another word, she answered, but quickly hanged up after at least 15 seconds.
"Rina called, there's been an Orphnoch attack. And Haruko's dead," Mari said. "Crap, I left the Orphnoch searcher pad in the laundry van."
"Let's go!" Michael said, as he, Mari, and Keitaro went to save Rina and Kyosuke.
Back with Rina and Kyosuke
Rina and Kyosuke backed away from J, transformed as the Crocodile Orphnoch. Kyosuke slipped and fell on a mud puddle.
"Kyosuke!" Rina cried, as he helped Kyosuke up.

J growled and he then turned to see Michael riding on Auto Vajin, towards him, and Michael kicked him in the face, sending him into the water. Michael then flipped opened the Faiz phone, with the gear on his waist.

Michael transformed into Faiz and jumped into the water to fight J. Kyosuke then got up and ran back to the Ryūsei School Bus, which caught the attention of Rina.
"Kyosuke! Where are you going? Kyosuke, wait!" Rina called out, passing Saeko and Takuma, who were watching the battle through a grain field that was nearby. "Kyouske! Kyosuke!"
As Rina caught up to Kyosuke, she saw that he had the Kaixa Gear case.
"Kyosuke! What are you doing?!" Rina asked, as she tried to take the gear from his hands, but Kyosuke fought back, by avoiding the gear from coming to her hands.
J kicked Michael, which almost made Michael loose his balance. Michael took out the Faiz phone and turned the phone into its blaster form, by turning the top of the phone sideways.

Burst Mode!
Michael was tackled on the ground, before he could take a shot at J, dropping the phone in the process. The one who tackled Michael was the female Bee Orphnoch. Michael wasn't a fan of hitting girls, so he went easy on the Bee. But J, tackled Michael by the throat, and pulled him up for another claw punch. Mari, Keitaro, Rina, and Kyosuke saw that Michael was fighting two Orphnochs.
(Fade Out Insert Song)
Kyosuke didn't know what to do. To transform to Kaixa to help Michael, and to transform and avenge Haruko, Inukai, and their teacher, Masuda. Either one of those choices were a do or die situation. Kyosuke quickly opened the case of the Kaixa Gear.
"Kyosuke! What are you doing?!" Rina asked, trying to take the belt part of the gear.
"Let go!" Kyosuke said.
"I said no!" Rina shouted.
"Let me go!" Kyosuke said, pushing Rina. Kyosuke looked at the gear, but his facial expression had fear. He thought on what happened with Takamiya, Inukai, Mr. Masuda, and Haruko, even though he and Rina could find her glasses with drops of blood.
"It's no good. I can't do it." Kyosuke thought. "I...can't do it."
The belt part of the gear was snatched from Kyosuke. Kyosuke and Rina turned to the person, and they saw it was an old friend.
"It's been a while guys," Kusaka said.
"Masato!" Rina said in awe.
Masato!" Kyosuke said in awe. Kusaka then put on the belt with the accessories, and side flipped it open.

Kusaka transformed into Kaixa, in yellow lasers, and slowly walked to the battle.
J threw Michael into the water ground on where the battle was.
"Michael-kun!" Keitaro called out as he grabbed the Faiz phone, in blaster mode, and threw it to Michael, who caught it, and fired it at the Bee Orphnoch, who fled and crashed into Mari, due to the impact of the blaster. The Bee Orphnoch then got up and looked at Mari, the latter had an injured leg. Before the Bee could do anything, she was kicked by Kusaka, who transformed into Kaixa. Kusaka looked at Mari, whose face was in confusion.
"Is that Kyosuke or Rina?" Mari thought. Kusaka then started to fight the Bee, and flawlessly deflects her attacks. The Bee then summons a piercing sword to aid her in battle. Kusaka dodges the sword as it hits the cement. The Bee then fires honey-like fluid from her mouth, but Kusaka was able to dodge it. The honey-like fluid landed on the concrete, and started to eat it through.
"Mari-chan!" Keitaro cried, as he grabbed Mari by the arm, but it over his neck, and helped her retreat from the battle.
The fight with Michael and J, took itself within the land within a sidewalk with long, thick, concreate walls on its sides. Kusaka twists the Bee's hand and kicks her in the stomach, sending her flying near a grain field. Kusaka pulled out a chi-like weapon, which looked like a blaster, and pulled the hammer part of it, which was at the back of the trigger.
Burst Mode!
Kusaka shot the Bee Orphnoch 12 times, the same amount in the blaster. The Bee had blue flames coming out of her body, and then turns to ash. Kusaka then aims at J, pulls the trigger, and succeeds at an headshot, causing J to fall. Kusaka then charges at J, while putting the Kaixa mission memory into the blaster.
Ready!
The blaster then became a lightsaber, but Kusaka held it like he was holding the blaygun in its blaster form. J touches his chest, and Kusaka succeeds on attack J with 3 slashes, and finishing with one upper slash, sending J flying near some grass. Kusaka then side-opened the phone, pressed the enter button, and side-closed it.
Exceed Charge!
A yellow surge from the belt into Kusaka's right hand. Kusaka oulled the hammer part at J, who got up, pressed the trigger button, and shot hit J, with a yellow energy yet paralyzing his body. Kusaka does a pose, and super speed runs into J, and slashes J from the inside, then comes out. J has a yellow chi symbol on his chest, and he turns to ash.
Michael then looks at Kusaka, with an hidden hatred face in his helmet.
"Kusaka," Michael muttered.
"So...Kaixa...has entered the battle," Takuma said as he turned and walked away, through the grain field, with Saeko doing the same.
"It looks like we might have a little fun," Saeko commented.
The aftermath of the battle happened with both Michael and Kusaka opening their phones, and pressing their enter buttons, causing their suits to disaapear into lasers. They looked at each other, but neither of the two responded. Instead, Kusaka walked to Mari, who was on the ground, took his hand out to her.
"Kusaka-kun?" Mari asked.
"Are you alright, Mari?" Kusaka asked, and Mari took Kusaka's hand, with Kusaka helping her up.
"Thanks," Mari said, and Kusaka smiled.
"Masato!" Kyosuke called out, which made Kusaka turned to him and Rina. "There's nothing really wrong with you?"
"Yeah," Kusaka replied, as he turned back to Michael, who had an expression on what appears to be annoyance.

Again, I'm so sorry. This took me a month to write this, and good writing isn't easy. You also noticed some changes I made with a few of my chapters. Another change I want to put out is this. Rememver when I said that Shigenori Takatera would be producing Abaranger, instead of Hikasa (who would eb the main producer in my version)? I would pick Hideaki Tsukada instead, since he was a producer for Abaranger, and he was a producer for Kamen Rider Agito and Hurricaneger.
I also want to say one thing...I like Kusaka's first episode. I like how his character is someone who doesn't like to fight dirty and to step out of his comfort zone with different clubs. What I don't like is that later on, Kusaka becomes a real jerk, and Takumi still fights alongside Kusaka. Yeah the writing is inconsistent in Faiz. But, I will try to improve his character motivations later on in the story. Thank you everyone for reading and I hope to see you next time, bye.
