Last Time, the gang were still traveling and got hungry as usual, after lunch they played ball, but it ended quickly when the ball flew off, Cilan went to go get it and met a Petilil who was lost and very easily scared, he and Ash try to get her back home, meanwhile Oshawott looks for dating advice as he tries to woo his new found crush, Mienshao, after failing spectacularly he feels like an idiot, Krokorok sees this however, and decides to help him, anyway Petilil eventually finds her home, and after a hard fought battle with a hungry Heatmor she decided to join Cilan in hi adventures, so now Petilil's part of the ride.

The gang plus Cody were now traveling through Twist mountain, it was very cold up there, snow filled the path, and it was a loooooong path.

"It's so cold" Iris said, she was wearing a beige coat and some ear muffs.

"How much longer Cilan?" Ash asked, wearing a blue coat with a scarf.

"I'm afriad it'll take another day at least of walking" Cilan said, he had an orange sweater.

"Wait, guys I think I see something" Cody said, who had donned a black leather jacket with a fur collar. "It's a blizzard!"

"Oh no, we gotta find shelter" Ash said.

"Over there, a cave!" Iris said.

The four ran in, to find a modest sized cave, it wasn't all too spacious, but it was enough to protect from the cold.

"Well I guess we're stuck now" Cilan said.

"And for a while too" Cody said. "The blizzards up here could last any where from a few hours to a few days, so for now we'll just have to bundle up"

"A fire would be nice" Cilan said.

"Krokorok come out" Ash released Krokorok. "Could you dig a place for a fire?"

Krokorok complied digging a small hole in the middle of the cave, sitting next to the hole.

"Volcarona come out" Cody released Volcarona. "Could you make a small fire please?"

The fire moth rolled her eyes before shooting fire in the middle of the cave, she then returned herself.

"Thanks for sticking around" Cody said sarcastically.

"I'm getting thirsty" Iris said. "Do we have any water left?"

"I'm afraid we already used most of it up" Cilan said, pulling out three empty bottles.

"I think Oshawott might be able to help" Ash said, releasing the otter too. "Could you fill up our water bottles?"

Oshawott nodded and Water Gunned the bottles to full, he then sat down next to the fire.

'Uh hey' Krokorok said, not getting a response.

The fire was burning but with no fuel it was slowly dying, having Volcarona or Eelektross warm it up would drain their energy, not that Volcarona wouls want to stay up all day warming the fire anyway.

"Someone's oughta get more fuel" Cody said, he stood up released his Gothitelle and Eelektross, and left the rest of his pokemon in their balls, which were sitting on the ground. "I'm gonna go get some branches, Gothitelle come with me, Eelektross warm up the fire until I come back"

"Cody you really don't have to" Ash said.

"It's either me or you guys, and I'd rather it be me" Cody said. "Come on, let's go"

Cody and Gothitelle went into the harsh blizzard to find some fuel, how long they would be gone? No one knows really, hopefully it wouldn't be forever.

Krokorok was silent, he couldn't decide if he should talk to Oshawott or not, after what seemed like an hour he finally spoke up. 'Uh Oshawott, I'd like to talk to you about something' Krokorok said, no response. 'You know, I've found out a little secret about you' Krokorok said.

'What secret?' Oshawott replied, curious, but also a bit cautious.

'I know you like someone here' Krokorok said. 'Specifically Mienshao' He whispered that last bit so Eelektross wouldn't hear.

'Wait, how do you know!?' Oshawott said, making a bit of a commotion.

'I saw you yesterday, you were trying to talk to her and you failed' Krokorok said.

'Oh I see, so you've come just to mock me' Oshawott said, a scowl appeared on his face

'No no, not that, I'm past that now, what I mean, I'm gonna help you get better' Krokorok said.

'Wait really?' Oshawott said, now surprised.

'Yeah, I was the alpha of my old pack, I have plenty of experience, and I want to make it up to you, all those terrible things I said'

'Well, if you say so, but how are you gonna help me?'

'The one way I earned all my lovers, strength, but I think for you to actually be that strong is gonna take a while'

'I thought you were past that'

Krokorok stiffened up. 'Okay old habits die hard, but I still want to help you, and I'll do it by being your wingman'

'Wingman? What's that?'

'It's a person who helps another get a date, usually by spreading a good word about them, having them do cool things'

'Oh so you'll like tell them about my strengths?'

'Yeah, and I'll even get in battles with you, or at least make it seem that way, I'll fall in one or two hits, and make you seem super strong'

'That's a really good plan actually, thanks man'

'No problem' Krokrok had a big dumb smile on his face, he was beginning to pay back his debt, and it sure felt good.

'Well Mienshao's not here now, so what do we do?' Oshawott asked.

'Hmm, we could get to her through Eelektross, maybe we could a favor for him, and he'll put in a good word for you' Krokorok said.

'Yeah, that's a good idea, well what are waiting for then, let's go talk to him' Oshawott said, he and Krokrok walked up to the eel.

'Ugh, Derik when are you coming back!?' Eelektross said, the fire went out rapidly and Eelektross had to use an entire Flamethrower each time it did, he was exhausted, he saw Krokorok and Oshawott come up to him. 'What do you two want? I'm trying to keep a fire running'

'Actually what we want to know is what you want' Krokorok said.

'As a favor, for something else' Oshawott said.

'Ha, can either of you use a fire type move?' Eelektross asked.

'Well no' Krokorok said.

'Then there's nothing you can do!' Eelektross said, firing another Flamethrower. 'I sure am hungry though, hey here's an idea why don't you too find me some stuff to eat, then I'll consider doing you a favor, hahaha!'

'Hmm, I know where we could get some food' Krokorok said.

'Really where?' Oshawott asked.

'I don't where specifically, but I do know that Durants live around here, and that they frequently store food and other things around' Krokorok said.

'Well let's get going then' Oshawott said.

Krokorok started digging but was interrupted by Ash. "Krokorok buddy, where are you going?" He asked.

'Uh we're finding fuel' Krokorok said.

"Ash they might be looking for fuel" Cilan said.

"Underground?"

"Yeah, Durants live here and they make underground nest that they fill with all sorts of things" Iris said.

"Oh so you think that you could find something flammable in these nest?" Ash asked Krokorok.

'Yeah' The croc nodded.

'And I'm coming too' Oshawott said.

"Oh well, go ahead then, no offense to Cody, but I don't think there's much out there anyway" Ash said. "Well have fun, and travel safe"

'Alright we will' Oshawott said.

'Come on let's go' Krokorok said.

The digging took a while, it didn't help that it was really dark down there.

'I can't see a thing, even if we run into a Durant nest, how do we fend them off to get food?' Oshawott asked.

'Don't worry I can see in the dark, I guess that's why I'm part dark type' Krokorok said.

'Oh, wait, but I still can't see' Oshawott said.

'Hmm, we'll just have to figure that out later' Krokorok said. 'We have to keep moving though'

After some digging to two dug into a cave.

'Ah finally, it was really stuffy in those tunnels' Oshawott said.

'Ugh, I feel faint' Krokorok said.

'How come?'

'We're really deep down, deeper than I've ever been, I don't think air travels this low' Krokorok said, lying down on his back. 'I think I've made a grave mistake, I should not have come down here'

'An underground lake' Oshawott said, he got an idea, he quickly jumped into the lake and soon came out, quickly he performed mouth to mouth CPR on Krokorok.

'Bleh! Why'd you do that, why'd you, huh, I don't feel faint anymore' Krokorok said, getting up.

'Yeah I'm a water type I have water filtration systems built into me, as long as water's around I can breath, as well as produce air'

'That's really clever, hmm, I guess it'd be best if we dug from that lake, so we can both breath' Krokorok said.

The duo got back to digging, this time underwater, Oshawott could still breathe due to being completely submerged, there were many mouth to mouths to keep Krokorok breathing though, it was pretty weird, after some time however they broke into another cave, they got out of the water to find something amazing.

'Whoa we just hit the jackpot' Krokorok said.

'I still can't see' Oshawott said.

'Well we still hit a goldmine' Krokorok said, indeed they had they broke into a massive cavern filled to the brim with every single berry under the sun, leaves layered the floor and walls, huge piles of berries each careful sorted reached the top of the cavern.

'Hey can you feel that?' Oshawott said.

'Feel what? Wait, I'm breathing just fine, how's that?' Krokorok said.

'It must be the huge amount of plants here, leaves collect our carbon dioxide and spit out fresh oxygen' Oshawott said.

'How do you know all that, I didn't get a single thing' Krokorok said.

'I spent so much time in Juniper's lab, had plenty of time to watch documentaries, repeatedly' Oshawott said.

'Well as nice as the smell is, I doubt we have much time to dawdle around, come on let's get some of this back before the Durants return' Krokorok said.

'Yeah, come on let's' Oshawott said.

Oshawott and Krokorok gathered as much food and fuel as they could, and were about to leave when.

'Hey!' A Durant called out. 'What do you think you're doing?' It said.

'We're just getting some food for our friends' Oshawott said.

'Well, that's shame, cause it's our food!' Durant said.

'Wait, our?' Krokorok said, starting to sweat.

'Yes! Ours!' Another Durant said, at least half a dozen crawled down from the walls.

'Look we just need some food for our friends, we're only taking a handful' Krokorok said.

'Yeah, there's a really tough blizzard up there, and plus you've got enough food to feed you all for months!' Oshawott said.

'Well whatever, it's still our food, and you're still strangers, and therefore you must perish!' A Durant said, it leaped forward with Metal Claw.

Krokorok dodged backwards, but Oshawott was hit with a Fury Cutter as he couldn't see.

'Oh no, hey Oshawott you gotta listen to me, I'll be your eyes' Krokorok said.

'Alright, but please don't mess this up' Oshawott replied.

'Okay dodge left, now attack!'

A Durant leapt at Oshawott but he dodged and struck it with Razor Shell.

'Nice one! Oof' Krokorok said, before being tackled by another Durant. 'Oshawott over here!'

'I'm coming!' Oshawott Aqua Jetted over, hitting the Durant off into some others.

'Alright, let's keep going'

Krokorok and Oshawott with the power of teamwork took down the Durants one by one.

Krokorok dug under some Durants and hits them, and Oshawott Razor Shelled another Durant.

One Durant shot towards Krokorok with a Fury Cutter, but was blocked by Oshawott's own Fury Cutter.

Krokorok fires Stone Edges at the Durant knocking it out.

One Durant digs under Oshawott, but he's quickly saved by Krokorok.

Oshawott fires a Water Gun at it knocking it out.

Krokorok fires some Stone Edges knocking out two Durants.

Oshawott Aqua Jets into a Durant knocking it out.

A Durant shot towards Krokorok with Metal Claw, Oshawott saves Krokorok in an Aqua Jet and Razor Shelled the last Durant knocking it out, and ending the fight.

'Okay fine, you win! Take it! Just leave us alone!' A Durant said, the group of six hid in a corner of the cavern.

'Alright, let's get these berries back to camp' Krokorok said.

'Yeah let's' Oshawott said.

The two traversed the tunnels back to camp, where Eelektross was waiting for food, and the fire waiting for fuel.

Back in the camp…

"Mmm these berries are great, glad you guys went on that trip" Ash said, gorging on berries.

"Now someone's gotta get Cody to come back, we don't really need him out there anymore" Iris said.

"We've got enough leaves to let the fire burn til tomorrow" Cilan said.

'Om nom nom' *burp* 'Ah, this is amazing, gomp' Eelektross said.

'So, you gonna do us a favor now?' Krokorok asked.

'Oh yeah, that, sure anything you'd like' Eelektross said. 'Man I'm too easily influenced by food'

'Well I just want you to put a good word for us with your teammates' Oshawott said.

'Really? That's it? Are you sure?' Eelektross asked.

'Yeah, but you gotta go on and on' Krokorok said. 'Really make sure they can't forget'

'Well if you say so, that's easy, om nom' Eelektross gobbled up the rest of the berries before falling into a deep slumber.

After a little longer Cody came back.

"Guys I'm back, hmm what's all this?" Cody asked.

"It's berries and fuel that Oshawott and Krokorok brought back from digging undergound" Iris said.

"Oh, that's awfully nice, thanks guys, I brought back a few more branches" Cody said, placing his haul off to the side, he grabbed a berry and leaned on a wall.

'I thought you were supposed to keep the fire alive' Gothitelle said, covered in icicles.

'Huh, oh you're back, these fellas brought back the stuff, and man they brought back a lot, I'm telling ya, I told them to bring me food and they brought me food, and fuel to boot, those guys were great, ah, you're right, I am a glutton' Eelektross said.

'I thought you agreed to keep communication to a minimum' Gothitelle said. 'And here you are asking them for things'

'I was hungry and besides they didn't ask for much back' Eelektross said.

'What did they ask you to do?' Gothitelle said, although not as a question, as she was doing something else.

'Well, I can't, oh you clever girl you mind read me, now you know anyway' Eelektross said.

'Really that's all they asked you to do? Put in a good word for us?' Gothitelle said, a bit surprised, although not showing it.

'Yeah I haven't a clue either, if I were in their shoes I would've asked what Derik was doing with them, good thing they didn't asked that' Eelektross said.

'Hmm, they're trying to make nice with us, strange, considering that we've made it abundantly clear that we don't want to associate' Gothitelle said. 'Well except you I guess'

'I said I was hungry! Anyway do you think they're trying to figure us out?'

'No, I don't think so, not those two anyway, they're kinda immature, I don't think any one of their pokemon even suspects a thing'

'What do you think they're doing it for then?'

'We'll just have to wait and see, for now, watch those two see what they're planning'

'Got it' Eelektross said, Gothitelle walked away, immediately Eelektross went to right back to sleep.

Back to Oshawott and Krokorok literally like 12 yards away…

'So what now?' Oshawott asked.

'Well we wait for this blizzard to end' Krokorok said. 'We can't really make a direct move on your crush since she's in her pokeball'

'Of course, no one wants to be unexpectedly released from their pokeball from anyone but their trainer' Oshawott said.

'Yeah, well just sit back and relax then' Krokorok said.

'You know Krokorok, today was fun, you and me we actually make quite a good team' Oshawott said.

'Thanks, I'm just glad you're glad' Krokorok said.

'You know, now that you're helping me, I think I forgive you' Oshawott said.

'Wait, really?'

'Yeah, from how you helped me against all those Durants, and all that digging you did just to get Eelektross to talk, really showed me that you actually do care'

'Well, I mean, thank you, does this mean our rivalry is over?'

'Of course not, but it's definitely become a lot more healthy'

'Hmm, nice'

After a few more hours the blizzard had finally subsided, and Ash and the gang plus Cody were ready to continue traveling.

"Alright, let's go!" Ash said, standing up, backpack in hand.

"Man Oshawott and Krokorok got along greatly today" Iris pointed out.

"It seems that they're rivalry is finally coming to a close" Cilan said.

'Indeed it has' Krokorok said.

'It most definitely has' Oshawott said.

Their feud was finally finally put to rest, however Krokorok's still Oshawott's wingman, and that's gonna be hilarious to watch, what will happen next for this newly formed friendship? Find out, next time!
