Last Time, The second round of Clubsplosion battles comes and goes, with the ones going to the third round being Iris and Ash, and Stepstool and Montgomery, meanwhile Derik goes diving for the second half of the Light Stone, and he finds it and escapes just before drowning, Oshawott asks Mienshao out, only to get rejected, throwing him into another depression, who will win the Clubplosion? Will Oshawott end this endless cycle of sadness? What will Volcarona do when she learns the truth? Find out, right here, right now!

Back to Derik…

"Alright guys, we're heading back soon" Derik called to his four pokemon.

'Finally, I miss being in bearable temperatures' Volcarona said.

'We'll see Druddigon and Mienshao again, hopefully they didn't spill anything' Gothitelle said.

'Remember what we discussed yesterday, if those twerps know anything, we strike' Volcarona said.

'I hope it doesn't come to that, that would leave a pretty big mess' Bisharp said.

'Bisharp, you seem awfully worried about those twerps, is there something you know that we don't?' Gothitelle asked.

'Yeah, you have been acting strange around them' Eelektross commented.

'It's nothing, I just don't want you guys letting the whole world know' Bisharp said, although he was lying, in truth he Snivy was with them, and, like Derik, wished for her return, and killing her wouldn't exactly help.

'Well, if they know, then there's a chance that the whole world would' Volcarona said. 'If they just mysteriously disappeared, then nobody would even think it be us, hardly anyone knows us anyway, well not right now, but if we don't do anything about this, that could soon change'

'She has a point, we got to stop the news before it has a chance to spread' Eelektross said.

'And in doing so, we would get rid of a threat to Team Rocket, face whether or not those twerps know our secret, they're still a danger' Gothitelle explained.

'Hmm, fair enough, but be warned you could just make things worst, much much worst' Bisharp said.

"Come on guys, we gotta head back now if we want to come back by tonight" Derik said, before returning the four.

It was the final day of the Clubsplosion, and thus the final training session for the gang.

'Mienshao, you notice something strange?' Druddigon asked his teammate.

'Yeah, a little bit, the others have seem to have estranged us' Mienshao observed.

'Do you think they know?' Druddigon whispered.

'I hope not, although frankly I'm more worried about Derik's return, with that comes our other teammates'

'Volcarona won't be happy to see this' Druddigon said, shivering.

'Hopefully she won't resort to violence' Mienshao said.

Over to Oshawott and Krokorok…

'Hey dude' Krokorok said, coming up to the otter.

'What is it?' Oshawott said, not fully over the rejection.

'I just wanted to see if you're okay' Krokorok said.

'Yeah I'm fine, it's not the first time, and it's definitely not the last' Oshawott said.

'Well, I say just get over it, you know, there's plenty of fish in the sea' Krokorok said.

'Yeah, I bet there are' Oshawott said, not really listening.

'Hmm, thinking about something?'

'Maybe' Oshawott said, he was going over Mienshao's words, for some reason he thought that they were something else, something he was missing, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

'Well, I just want you to know, that no matter what anyone thinks, you are still you, and I say you is pretty cool, sorry I didn't realize earlier'

'It's alright, I've forgiven you a long time ago' Oshawott said, thinking even harder now.

'Have a good one Krokorok'

This was it the final day of the Clubsplosion, and the crowd was as big as ever.

"Alright folks, today's the day where the winner will become clear, but first we must determine which tag team is stronger, is it Ash and Iris? Or Stupid and Montgomery? Find out right now!"

"You guys ready?" Ash asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be" Stinky said.

"Let's do this" Said Iris.

"Bring it on" Said Montgomery.

"Battle Begin!"

Ash and Iris sent out Pikachu and Deino, while Stoppon and Montgomery sent out Escavalier and Accelgor.

"Accelgor use Focus Blast on Pikachu"

"Dodge and counter with Volt Tackle"

"Deino use Dragon Rage on Escavalier"

"Dodge it and use Iron Head"

Accelgor shot a Focus Blast at Pikachu but he dodged and rammed into the bug, Deino instead used Fire Fang doing super effective damage.

"Aw man, Fire Fang, alright Escavalier use Reversal on Deino"

Escavalier used Reversal doing massive damage.

"Hang in there Deino"

"Accelgor use Sludge Bomb on Deino!"

"Pikachu Iron Tail the Sludge Bomb"

Accelgor shot a Sludge Bomb, but it was cut in half by Pikachu's Iron Tail.

"Deino use Fire Fang on Accelgor"

"Dodge it Accelgor"

Deino leapt towards Accelgor, but ended up biting the ground instead of it.

"Escavalier finish it with Iron Head!"

Escavalier shot forwards toward Deino, sending him flying knocking him out.

"Return, Excadrill some on out!"

"Pikachu use Iron Tail on Escavalier"

Pikachu struck Escavalier with Iron Tail knocking it out.

"Escavalier return, Zebstrika take them on!"

"Accelgor use Focus Blast on Pikachu"

"Dodge it!"

This time Accelgor hit Pikachu sending him flying.

"You okay buddy?"

"Excadrill use Drill Run on Zebstrika"

Instead Excadrill used Earth Power doing damage to both Zebstrika and Accelgor.

"I see we're doing this again" Ash said, pretty much breaking the 4th wall.

"Zebstrika Flame Charge Excadrill"

Zebstrika rammed Excadrill with Flame Charge knocking him back.

"Accelgor use Energy Ball on Pikachu"

Accelgor shot an Energy Ball at Pikachu sending him flying.

"Excadrill use Focus Blast on Accelgor"

The Focus Blast hit leaving Accelgor on critical health.

"Pikachu finish it with Volt Tackle!"

Pikachu rammed into Accelgor, knocking it out.

"Return, Scrafty come on out!"

"Excadrill Drill Run on Zebstrika"

Excadrill rammed Zebstrika doing massive damage.

"Pikachu Iron Tail Zebstrika"

"Counter with Focus Punch Scrafty"

Pikachu went in for the Iron Tail, but was intercepted by Scrafty's Focus Punch.

"Excadrill Focus Blast Scrafty"

"Dodge and use Hi Jump Kick"

Excadrill fires at Scarfty misses, and then get struck with Hi Jump Kick, knocking him out.

"Oh no, I have no pokemon left" Iris said.

"That means it's all up to me" Ash said. "Pikachu use Volt Tackle on Zebstrika"

"Dodge and counter with Giga Impact"

Zebstrika dodged Pikachu's Volt Tackle, and slammed into Pikachu sending him flying.

"Scrafty Payback Pikachu down to the ground!"

Scrafty leapt up and struck Pikachu slamming him to the ground, when the dust settled, it was clear, he was fainted.

"Pikachu! Grr, Oshawott I choose you!"

"Odd choice, but okay, Zebstrika Thunderbolt"

"Dodge and use Razor Shell"

Zebstrika missed, and was finally taken down by Razor Shell.

"Oh man, now I don't have any pokemon" Steven said.

"This has turned into a one v one" Montgomery said. "Scrafty Thunder Punch"

"Dodge and use Fury Cutter"

Oshawott dodged and struck down with Fury Cutter.

"Thunder Punch once more"

"Dodge it!"

This time the Thunder Punch hit, sending Oshawott flying.

"Scrafty use Payback"

Scrafty shot forward and hit Oshawott with Payback.

"Oshawott counter with another Fury Cutter"

Oshawott sliced back at Scrafty doing some damage.

"Scrafty use Thunder Punch again"

"Counter with Fury Cutter"

The two pokemon traded blows, but Oshawott was getting weaker.

"Scrafty use Hi Jump Kick!"

"Dodge it!"

Scrafty shot forward and struck Oshawott, knocking him out.

"Oshawott return" Ash said. "Well that's that I guess"

"It was fun though" Iris said.

"Yeah it was" Stoppon said.

"It was quite challenging too" Said Montgomery.

"Well there's only one battle left" Ash said.

"You vs me" Montgomery said, pointing at Stoppon.

"Man, this is gonna be a hard one" Steffen said.

"Well it was a pleasure to battle together Stephan" Montgomery said.

"Yeah it was, and you're the only one who actually says my name right" Steef said.

"Come on Ash, let's go watch the next battle" Iris said.

"Yeah, come on" Ash said.

A little later…

"Alright folks, this is it, the final battle of the Clubsplosion, it's against Steven and Montgomery, battle begin!"

Steffen sent out Zebstrika, and Montgomery sent out Scrafty.

"Zebstrika use Double Kick"

"Dodge!"

Zebstrika kicks Scrafty twice.

"Payback now!"

Scrafty hits Zebstrika back with a Payback.

"Zebstrika use Thunderbolt"

"Dodge and use Hi Jump Kick"

Zebstrika shoots out a Thunderbolt which misses, Scrafty comes in with Hi Jump Kick and does some damage to Zebstrika.

"Zebstrika strike back with a Flame Charge"

Zebstrika rams Scrafty with Flame Charge knocking it back.

"Scrafty knock it down with Payback and then use Focus Punch"

"Dodge it!"

Zebstrika gets hit by Payback and then immediately gets pwned by Focus Punch.

"Zebstrika use Giga Impact"

"Dodge it!"

Zebstrika rams into Scrafty doing massive damage.

"Scrafty hit it back with another Payback"

"Dodge and use Thunderbolt"

Scrafty got off it's Payback and Zebstrika stumbled a bit.

"Zebstrika Giga Impact once more"

"Scrafty finish this with Hi Jump Kick"

The two pokemon collided with each other and huge amounts of dust flew about, when it cleared they were both fainted.

"Wow a tie" Iris said.

"That means they're both down to just one pokemon" Ash said.

"What an interesting matchup" Cilan observed.

"Return" Called Steffen and Montgomery.

They sent out Sawk and Throh respectively.

"Sawk start off with an Ice Punch"

"Counter with a Thunder Punch Throh"

The two fighting types met in the center, both of their punches cancelling each other out.

"Low Kick now!"

"Dodge it!"

Throh tried to sweep the legs, but Sawk jumped above it.

"Throh use Focus Blast"

"Uh oh!"

Throh shot a Focus Blast directly at Sawk sending it flying.

"Get in with a Close Combat"

"Throw it with Superpower"

Sawk came charging with Close Combat, but Throh threw it away using Superpower.

"Sawk no!"

"Throh use Focus Blast"

"Dodge it!"

Sawk rolled away before Focus Blast could hit it.

"Sawk use Ice Punch"

Sawk got in with an Ice Punch freezing Throh's fist for a bit.

"Now use Close Combat"

Sawk Close Combatted Throh, while the fighting type stood there helpless due to it's frozen hands.

"Low Kick now!"

Throh swept the legs, and broke out of it's icy hands.

"Use Thunder Punch!"

"Double Kick to counter"

Throh prepared to sock Sawk, but it kicked Throh away.

"Keep Focus Blasting, it can't dodge forever"

"Keep dodging, it can't fire forever"

Sawk performed some maneuvers, as Throh kept trying to blast it to smithereens.

"Close Combat now!"

Sawk got in close when a window of opportunity came, and punched Throh into oblivion.

"Throh get it with Thunder Punch!"

Throh punched Sawk with thunder paralyzing it.

"Ah great!"

"Perfect, use Focus Blast"

"Double Kick"

Sawk tried to Double Kick, but was stuck in paralysis, Throh blasted it in the face.

"Throh Focus Blast Sawk"

"Use Superpower to rip out the earth"

Throh shot a Focus Blast at Sawk, but he tore up the ground to block it.

"Now throw the earth at Throh"

Sawk tossed the mass at Throh encasing it in stone, Sawk's paralysis wore off.

"Break out with Superpower"

Throh lifted the rocks off itself and threw them to the side.

"End this with Focus Blast"

"Dodge and finish this with Close Combat"

Throh shot at Sawk a few times, but Sawk dodged every last Focus Blast, getting in Close and finishing Throh with Close Combat.

"And the winner of this year's Clubsplosion is Steffen!"

"We won? We won! Yes!" Steven said, running up to hug his Sawk.

'We did it!'

"You get 100,000 pokedollars and a years supply of vitamins" The announcer said, giving the rewards to Stupid.

"FOR THE LAST TIME IT'S STEPHAN!" Jeez, it's just a name no need to get so angry.

"That was a wonderful battle Stephan" Montgomery said, shaking Steven's hand.

"At least one person gets my name right" Steffen said. "You're so lucky you're a third person narrator"

"Hey Steven!" Ash said, coming up.

"Oh hey Ash" Steffen said.

"We just wanted to congratulate you on your win Stephan" Iris said, coming up.

"You, you said my name right too" Stoppon said.

"That last battle was truly amazing Stephan" Cilan said, also coming up.

"And you too" Stepstool said, tears in his eyes.

"I can't wait until we meet again Stephan" Ash said.

"This is the happiest day of my life" Stef- Okay fine I'll say it right just this once, Stephan was on the verge of crying at this point.

"Waaaa! Narrator even you said my name right! My life is finally complete!" Steffen said, his tears forming mini waterfalls.

"Now now, no need to cry, we know you're happy Stephan" The announcer said, I guess even he has a heart.

After that eventful finale, Ash and the gang went on an evening stroll…

"Well what now Ash?" Cilan asked.

"Are you gonna eat?" Iris said, sarcastically.

"Well I feel like relaxing actually, not sleeping, just hanging around, tomorrow I'm gonna challenge the Iccirus City Gym too, but for now I'm just gonna relax"

"Alright then, let's find a nice place" Cilan said.

The gang found a nice little field with a bench, a peaceful place, although it wouldn't be for long, it was getting dark out the street lamps were glaring, and the streets were mostly empty, they had let out their pokemon to play.

"Hey look it's Cody" Iris said, spotting the hidden rocket member, immediately all of the gang's pokemon tensed up, and prepared for the worst.

"Hey guys, it's been a while" Cody, or should I say Missile said.

"Did you get your thing done?" Ash asked.

"Yeah pretty much, although I think I might stay a little longer" Missile said. "Have you been taking care of Mienshao and Druddigon?"

"Yeah" Ash said. "Hey you want to bring out the rest of your pokemon?"

"Okay sure" Missile said, releasing the four he had on him, this would prove to be his undoing.

'You two!' Volcarona called out. 'What happened?'

'Uh nothing really' Mienshao said.

'The twerps' pokemon, they're different' Gothitelle observed.

'They're tensed, because of us' Bisharp said.

'You didn't' Volcarona said.

'Maybe?' Druddigon said, unsure what to do, he was getting pretty uneasy.

'Do it' Volcarona ordered.

'Oh man, why does this feel wrong?' Eelektross said, charging up a Flash Cannon and aiming it at Pikachu.

Luckily the mouse noticed and dodged out of the way.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Ash said, furious.

'Our secret it has been revealed, there's only one thing we can do now' Volcarona said. 'Attack!'

'They're striking! We must defend!' Emolga said. 'Fight back!'

The once peaceful field was turned into a war zone in a matter of seconds.

Volcarona attempted to fire a Fire Blast at them, but was stopped.

'NO!' Bisharp said, ramming into Volcarona with Iron Head.

'What are you doing?! They're the enemy!' Volcarona said, Fire Blasting her teammate.

"Cody get your pokemon under control!" Ash shouted, panicked.

"I'm trying, but they keep dodging my returns!"

"We gotta get ours under control too!" Iris said.

A Dragon Pulse from Axew hit Druddigon, who became enraged and started shooting Draco Meteors everywhere.

'Oshawott come on help out here' Krokorok said, ducking for cover against the Draco Meteors.

'What's the point anyway man?' Oshawott said. 'Even after all I do, I'll never find love!'

'Who needs love anyway? Whatever, if you wanna stay here and die, then so be it, I'm out of here' Krokorok said, running away.

Volcarona and Bisharp were having a battle inside of a battle, with Mienshao trying to break them up, Gothitelle, Eelektross, Druddigon, and everyone else were fighting with the other side.

Eelektross fired a Flamethrower, which scorched the ground, Pansage fired Bullet Seed at Eelektross, with Deino following up with Dragon Rage.

Gothitelle Brick Breaked Excadrill, before being shocked by Pikachu, and Pursuited by Whirlipede.

Druddigon Sludge Bombed Crustle, before being Air Slashed by Braviary, and Dragon Pulsed by Axew.

Missile's pokemon were being pushed back, it didn't help that two of them were infighting either.

'Get off!' Volcarona said, putting one last Fire Blast into Bisharp's chest, knocking him out. 'Useless leader, that's it! You're all going to die now!'

Oshawott was still curled up in a ball on the field, he could see Volcarona charging up a massive Hurricane sure to wipe out everyone, but then something clicked. I didn't find love, but I found true love, all my friends they do care, they helped me when I was down, now I gotta help them! Oshawott felt a new burning passion within himself, stronger than any love, or attention that could possibly exist, he felt himself getting taller, and bluer too, his scalchop split in twine, and grew into two, he felt himself gaining whiskers and a new desire.

'See you all in the distortion world!' Volcarona said, rounding the humongous Hurricane, before she got a chance to fire it though, she was struck with an Aqua Jet!

'Wait is that, Oshawott?' Krokorok said, staring up in awe.

'You gotta be kidding me, that pathetic weakling evolved into a Dewott!' Volcarona said.

'Yeah, now you get outta here!' Dewott said, using Ice Beam, freezing the fire moth, knocking her out.

'Come on, this still isn't over' Servine said, firing a Leaf Storm.

"Cody do something" Cilan said.

"Come on guys! Stop it!" Derik said, truly having lost his cool.

'Should we stop?' Eelektross asked.

'We've lost Bisharp and Volcarona' Gothitelle said.

'I think we've gone too far' Mienshao said.

'Well I'm not finished yet' Druddigon said, firing one more Flash Cannon at Servine.

"Stop it!" Derik said, running in front of the grass snake and taking the hit for her.

"Cody!" Ash cried out.

'Oops' Druddigon said, before getting smacked across the head by Gothitelle.

Derik's disguise dropped immediately, revealing his true identity to everyone, and confirming Servine's worst fears.

'Derik, you'

The estranged man quickly turned away, recalled all six of his pokemon, and fled.

"Wait, so Cody wasn't Cody?" Iris said, utterly confused, most of everyone else felt the same.

"Does this mean he's been part of an evil team all along? No one else would do this" Cilan said.

"I can't believe it, he lied to us for weeks, and his pokemon attacked us too" Ash said, gobsmacked.

'Osha, or Dewott, I'm glad you came through at the end' Krokorok said. 'I don't think we would've made it without you'

'Well, thanks to you guys I know that I'm truly appreciated now, so I'm glad you guys came through for me' Dewott said.

Krokorok and Dewott hugged it out.

'I can't believe it, Derik's actually' Servine uttered.

'I know, it's hard' Emolga said.

'I said I believed it, but I had my doubts, but seeing his disguise drop, and to see that face which I hadn't seen for over four years, it confirmed everything'

Cody's true identity, his affliction with Team Rocket, his connections to Servine, they were all revealed, and all of which were hard to swallow, at least Oshawott evolved, but the sense of dread remained strong, what would happen next? What would become of Derik? How will Servine deal with it all? No one knew for sure, but they knew it was gonna be a long ride.
