The gang has gone their separate ways and now it's been 5 years since they all left Cascadia. Squib went pro, Cody went for the Magazine, Nate went to a new school where his dad became the President there, Cameron and Adena got together just before they graduated from Cascadia, and Tanis has been with Nate for 2 years. And Rick? He almost had his chance with Cody but Squib snatched her away from him and they went steady for almost the 5 years since they left Cascadia. But about a year ago they suddenly broke up. Now they all find each other in New York and love prevails and new sparks appear.
Chapter 1
Squib has got on the plane with his newest girlfriend Emily. He thinks he sees Cody and when she turns around he's sees it isn't her.
"Honey, you ok?" Asked Emily.
"What? Oh um yeah I'm good." He said in a jumpy voice.
"You seem tense and nervous for some reason." said Emily.
"Em, I'm fine, trust me." He said as he turned to her and kissed her in the softest way.
"So are you excited for New York to celebrate our 3rd anniversary since we met"? Emily asked smiling.
"Yeah, but I don't understand why we had to come to New york." Squib said. "Why couldn't we go to California or something?"
"Hun, you known I've been to California so many times and I really want to see New York's sites."
"Alright, alright but I've been to New York too and it wasn't as great an experience as I thought it would be." He told her.
"Ohhh, is it because of that Cody girl?"
Squib said nothing.
"I knew it had to have something to do with her."
"Well, I really loved her and she went for that friggin Nate guy!" Squib yelled.
People on the plane stared at Squib then went back to what they were doing.
"Hun please don't yell, I know you loved her but maybe you and her weren't meant for each other and Nate and her were while we were meant for each other." "I'm sure Nate was still a great guy."
"You never met him." Squib said.
